The food was like little works of art.

fantastic authentic Japanese cuisine with very lovely and considerate staff! it's quite a small team so sometimes service wasn't the quickest at busy times but the delicious food more than made up for it, and again it is to be expected from a smaller business.

Can't rate this gem high enough.

Me and my partner come here every couple of weeks or when we can and the food is delicious we go for the all you can eat buffet which is £17.50 each. My partner loves the duck with pancakes and I like the vermicelli with cheese and chicken rolls with the chicken balls there is plenty to use from. There is also an ice cream station which is nice and it is by far worth the money,the staff are very nice and helpful nothing is a problem for them very attentive they have recognised that me and my partner are regulars give this a try you will not be disappointed.

Still excellent, after all these years. Perhaps a little dated now, but have never had a bad meal in the best part of 40 years visiting.

Excellent range of beers - something for everyone. Great location mid-way between the railway station and the bus station. Nice outside seating area too

I had high hopes based on reviews but I won’t be back. Chips looked and tasted like they’d been left for hours. Fish batter was greasy and fish awful taste. Fish cake was fine but that’s because it was just a heating activity.

Went for Sunday lunch along with our two dogs and can highly recommend as a very dog friendly place to eat and drink. Staff all friendly, professional and attentive, even made a fuss of our dogs bringing them fresh drinking water and treats which was appreciated on a warm day. A tasteful, spacious country pub with plenty of cosy rooms and seating both inside and out. I can highly recommend the roast beef, which was served perfectly cooked and was good value. Well done guys, looking forwards to another visit soon!

Always super friendly atmosphere and superb food.

Visited to meet a friend for coffee, this was a good half way point for us. Service was good, they had decaff option which was a plus, nice atmosphere.

Not sure what dark magic they're using to get proper cheese curds in the UK but i am here for it. Banger poutine, authentic Canadian style. First time I've had the real thing since leaving Canada 4 years ago! ❤️

Great place to eat, friendly staff and the food was amazing, could definitely recommend the steak and lamb. We were taken to our table straight away and service was quick..oh if having a starter the garlic mushrooms were to die for. Will definitely be back. Thank you .:-)
