The Third Eye is by a country mile the best Nepalese Indian I have ever been to. I've been to many similar restaurants in Manchester, in other cities and abroad but the 3rd Eye is the one that invariably ticks all the boxes. It always has a warm and friendly atmosphere however busy they are. The staff are lovely and the service is excellent. The food is excellent. I can particularly recommend one of their specialties, Chicken Chilli but you won't be disappointed in any of their dishes. It is truly excellent.

Great place to eat, the momos were really good and they threw in some extra drinks for free - really nice people!

We always come to the third eye, it’s simply the best food! The tastes are 100% fresh and healthy!

I went to the third eye tonight and ordered three dishes . The staff were extremely friendly . They gave me their own recommendations. I really enjoyed trying some new dishes as well as my own . Great quality and I would highly recommend.

We had been looking forward to trying this restaurant as it was so well rated but we were left disappointed. We ordered one of our favourites, dal makhani, and were quite underwhelmed with the flavour compared to what we get from other restaurants. We also ordered the makhan chara and the chicken was really over cooked and dry. As the restaurant is small, it’s gets very loud when busy. There were a couple of larger groups when we were there which made it noisier.

Best curry in Manchester. Been going for years now and out of the many curry restaurants I’ve visited, I sincerely can say this is by far the best. Everything down to the naan bread was delicious and the staff never fail to be helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend!

Superb food and atmosphere. One of the best in Manchester.

Came here on a recent visit to try it out after hearing good reviews of this place. It’s a bit different, the popadoms are the ones other places call ‘spicy’ - the chutneys were excellent and not stingy too. I had the Lamb Shah Jani , it was pretty good but left quite a residue of oil on the plate. The Nan bread was reasonable - the service was a little offhand-ish though. Will definitely go back and try another dish.

Had the most amazing time here, service was 10/10 and so was the costumer service. The best food here, the chilli chicken is melt in your mouth and so is the kema peas. Mac’n chicken was so creamy and delicious. I could come here every day and love it always. The service was fast and efficient, the starters came in perfect time and the main course followed soon after but enough time for the first course of food to settle. You can’t get much better than the third eye.

The best food in Didsbury and you won't get any better any where in the country. Try the chilli chicken hot hot hot but so tasty

When to this restaurant with family for a birthday meal and from walking in the staff we're very friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing and plentiful and very authentic, they even went out of their way to nip out and buy a small birthday cake for us 🤩 thank you so much it was lovely .

We have eaten here on a few occasions & like tonight had a takeaway, the food & service are always excellent, I especially enjoy the Kidney Masala (my favourite) I thoroughly recommend it , just check out the menu for other options, I have mine with a bottle of Gurkha Beer, always 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The biriyani was way too spicy and very oily. The atmosphere is okay but a bit crowded . The food was pretty not much to the price.

Unreal dinner, hostess was incredible and gave us so much information about our food beforehand and got us super excited. The food that arrived was absolutely delicious - we had the mushroom rice and butter chicken with momo and lamb shank starters. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing atmosphere, music, food and great vegan and gluten free options, plus they sang and brought us out a free birthday cake for my dad for his birthday. We will be back :) Ps. I recommend the Bombay potatoes.

Visited the restaurant, with some friends who were very knowledgable about this style of cooking and they all raved about the food. We were asked about our likes and dislikes and the waiter made suggestions about the various dishes, that were spot on. The entire evening was a complete success and its well worth the effort to make this place your destination!

I had high hopes, BUT was DISSAPOINTED. This was food delivery. LACKED spice and flavour. Was too expensive for what it was. Also, the food was packed into metal containers that were TOO SMALL so the food started leaking into the bag and later when the delivery driver was handing it over the bag ripped and 2 curries fell on the ground. The restaurant DIDN'T take any responsibility for the fault. But instead the delivery driver was ready to refund us in FEAR of loosing his job.

Brilliant experience at Third Eye, I’m coeliac and the staff could not have been more helpful in advising what dishes I could eat - as well as making sure that everything was not cross-contaminated! It was so lovely to hear about the family recipes that are used, we were served by one of the co-owners and she was so passionate about the menu. 5 stars all round!

Stepping into The Third Eye, you are immediately enveloped in smells that effortlessly blends traditional Nepalese warmth with Northen hospitality. The restaurant, already a beloved establishment due to acclaim of its chef's accolade as 'Chef of the Year' at the 2023 National Curry Awards. If it continues to deliver as expect, 2024 will be an easy win.

We come here specially for the paneer chilli and the veggie damask. The food always tastes freshly made and the samosas are fantastic. This is a little gem of a place - we have been coming for years and it never disappoints
