I recently attended Sangam for my works Christmas meal. There was 29 of us, and from the beginning the staff were fantastic in accommodating all of our needs. They gave us our own section of the restaurant that allowed us to have more festive fun! SHAHIN went above & beyond for our dinner party. He checked all of our orders prior to the food being served, he ensured that anything extra we ordered was served quickly. He was extremely helpful, warm, friendly and had a great sense of humor. He build a good rapport with us, and made sure we were all happy with our dining experience. We felt that Shahin genuinely cared about providing a fantastic service for us, thank you Shahin!! We will be back in future for sure :-) Ps. The food here is DELICIOUS and the restaurant is beautifully decorated!

We recently held our work festive do at Sangam Didsbury, and Shahin and the team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the moment we made the initial booking, the hospitality was exceptional. Shahin was incredibly helpful in assisting us with the planning, and the team stayed in regular contact to ensure everything went smoothly. We were a group of 28 on a busy Friday evening, but the team handled it seamlessly. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for the amazing service and can’t wait to dine at Sangam Didsbury again. Thank you for making our event so special!

The staff is amazing! They really looked after us and they even gave a little Sangam shirt to my baby niece which was so cute💖 the food is good but is not Authentic INDIAN is more British Indian food with less spices

We recently dined at Sangam Didsbury and we had an incredible experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavours, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The lal mas curry and garlic naan were standout favourites for us. The decor of the place truly sets the bar high for Indian cuisine in the area. Totally blown away by the aesthetics! Highly recommend x

The food was absolutely outstanding – the lamb shank, in particular, was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a true delight. The staff was equally impressive, with exceptional service that made our night even more special. A huge thank you to Shaheen, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Sangam for any special occasion or even a regular night out!

The atmosphere from when we first walked in, was incredible. The staff was polite, friendly and welcoming, Shahin (our server) went the extra mile for us, he was Funny, friendly and really good with the children. The food was amazing, the chicken so perfect it fell apart. I have loved every minute here and will definitely becoming again

Had the fish platter to share as a starter, food was dry and hard. Main course was OK but so hot almost inedible, poor when this was discussed during ordering. Dismissive staff, not a great experience. Surprised how bad is was as have eaten in the manchester restaurant 2 times over the last few months and both times the food and experience was excellent.

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Sangam Restaurant in Didsbury. We paid £55 for two curries (chicken and paneer), two starters, two naan, and a portion of chips, which felt like a complete waste of money. The chicken curry, priced at £18 for a small portion, and the paneer curry were both incredibly bland and lacked any real flavor. To top it off, the service was painfully slow, making the dining experience even more frustrating. While the staff were friendly, it couldn’t make up for the poor food quality and high prices. Definitely not worth it.

The food was so good. I orders the tandoori baby chicken and it was delicious. But enough for 2 people to share especially if you have a starter!

Food was very poor, the starters we ordered chicken tikka and meat Somosa. Chicken tikka was dry and rock solid, meat somosa was tasteles. The waiter come to give us the bill 1 hour later and we said we are still waiting for our mains. When the mains was served the curry was so salty, we couldn’t bear the taste. Wouldn’t recommend avoid

fantastic food we had the mixed grill and various other small plates we definitely ordered too much but the food was that nice we couldn't stop eating, I've been to both the didsbury and town one and the didsbury one is definitely better. lovely decor and friendly staff very attentive but not too in your face, over all a great date night location and overall food spot.

Just finished a meal here. Like 10 mins ago. What a treat! I’ve lived round here for 15 years and never been in. That is 15 wasted years! Food, atmosphere and service have all been exceptional. Would recommend to anyone. A big shout out to Saif who looked after us today. I don’t normally ask the staff their names when we eat out but this guy deserves a mention - made us feel super welcome but without being over familiar & was a true gent and a professional at the same time. With help of the manager Shahin we have organised a meal for 22 for a retirement of our work friend. The entire experience led by experienced team at Sangam Didsbury was a very smooth and pleasant, which will definitely stay in memories. Everyone's enjoyed their food and left satisfied and smiling. We will most definitely be coming back for their tasty food and fun atmosphere!

Wonderful food and service on my first visit! The flavours were complex and varied, and the description of the dish heat was spot-on. All very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is perfect for something private or a group affair! Highly recommend the murgh tikka lababdar and duck malai curry! Fruity and savoury in equal measure!
