We came for a family birthday and had the best time. We were served by Shahin and he was also a fabulous photographer. The food, the price, the atmosphere were all 10/10. We will be back again soon.

Sorry to be leaving this review as been a visitor to Sangam in Rusholme and Portland Street for years. Set charge for poppadoms and chutneys. The poppadoms come in bits so you don't know how many you have. Not much more than one it seems. Both ordered a tikka sizzler. What a disappointment. Chicken bone dry. Sauce in the tiniest pot that held 3 tablespoons and charged £2 extra for a non-plain sauce. Waiter came to ask was all OK and told him about the chicken. He shot off like he was off to the kitchen to remedy the situation but we never saw him again. Shocking customer service. They now also add 10% service charge to the bill. Feel very let down. Didn't expect this treatment from Saleem. Won't be rushing back.

Beautiful, ambient atmosphere, the decor is stunning. Their private function room is a perfect setting for a variety of celebrations. The staff really made my family and I feel so welcome. The food was amazing! 5 ⭐️s

Really not happy, food was alright definitely not the best in area, service wasn’t mediocre at best . They forgot a starter dish we ordered ordered so we had to wait, then didn’t come back to us for ages - place was empty on a Wednesday evening, would only get a drink or the desert menu when a waiter finally walked past - as soon as we asked for bill they were there with the card machine. They added service charge to the bill then overcharged me anyway - really not happy - didn’t deserve the service charge or the over charge - so that’s £25 they owe me and will avoid going there again!!!

Great food, service and atmosphere as always

Extremely Disappointing Experience Visited Sangam yesterday expecting a great meal based on the 4.5-star rating, but left extremely disappointed. The Chicken Tikka Masala was nothing like what it should be—overloaded with sugar and completely lacking in authentic flavor. The Mixed Grill (£20) was a disaster: dry, stale meat that tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. They took it out of the fridge then just sizzled it. Honestly, I would have preferred a ready meal over that. The Pani Puri was also awful. The puris were old, had a strong stale oil smell, and the flavors were just missing. For a total bill of £57 for two people, the experience was far from worth it. I won’t be returning and will definitely be sharing my feedback with others. Very surprised by the high ratings.

5 stars all round, great menu, good quality tasty food and great service! Please add coriander chilli sauce and lime pickle to the chutney tray ;)

Good atmosphere and lovely staff

Our experience was expectional. One of the best indian food i have eaten. It is a must try. The service and ambience is outsanding. Shahin and his team make you feel welcome and take care of all the guests with a lot of warmth.

Came here for my 21st birthday and had an amazing time . Shahin our server was absolutely lovely , showered in gifts and amazing service. With absolutely top quality food which came out almost instantly.

The team hosted us for a birthday lunch. I had originally booked the wrong branch by mistake so the team weren’t fully prepared for our party of 12 but I can’t fault the service, friendliness and quality of the food. It was so good!!! Would highly recommend 👍

Went for new years eve dinner with family and friends which we choose basis reviews and rating of resturant. Loved the ambience of live music. Snacks were very good In main course along with 4 other curries one of the main curry tasted very funny and raised to the person who was serving us Another guy came and when he heard my complaint instaed of apologising, changing plates and replacing a dish showed the bowl and asked where has half of curry gone, such shocking question!! We showed the plates where it was served and made him speechless. Without any apology he went away and got curry replaced. We had to ask again to replace plates. Three opele aooke ti ua fir this and ni one had courtesy to apologise. Rest other dishes were very good and authentic. Will never go back basis this experience

I came for my birthday with my family, 9 of us. Shahin was our waiter. He was amazing! I can’t say that enough. He made us feel so welcome, talked to us as if we were family, the kids loved, gave great suggestions and great company. Definitely will come again and would recommend all to come just because of him! The food was also amazing. I cannot fault anything 🙂‍↕️

This is the best curry house I've EVER been to and I declare myself a curryaholic. Exquisite food. Literally delicious. Fantastic ambience. Superb service from rayhan. YOU MUST COME HERE!!!!! An exotic delight. Literally faultless. Food heaven! I'm veggie and it can be hard to find decent veggie food but sangam gets it spot on. The tastiest veggie biriani. I'd eat here for breakfast, dinner and tea and never get bored. Thank you! Such outstanding customer service is rare.

We had lunch there and ordered two starters to share and a main course for each person. The tandoori came sizzling and piping hot, not to mention the generous portions! The staff were very friendly and offered us hot drinks at the end of the meal as it was very cold outside. Lovely and peaceful ambience - perfect for meeting up with friends and family.
