The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly. Nice atmosphere and we will definitely be going back soon. Lots of vegetarian options to choose from.

Mumbai Tiffin Room is a must-visit! The food is authentic, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Keema naan was superb, as was the veg sharer! Service was excellent—friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

Great Indian meal out in Chorlton with friends. Quiet as it was a Monday, but staff were really attentive and the food was delicious. Good sized portions and not the usual overbearing choices - easy to order. Really enjoyed our relaxing time out. Would definitely recommend.

A group of 6 of us visited tonight for a birthday meal. All food served was delicious and everyone was extremely happy. Our server was absolutely great as well, lovely and friendly! Very good value for money, overall this place is brilliant & we would highly recommend anyone to come and try it out. We will definitely be back, thanks for a great night!!

Great food & tradition Indian food prepared freshly for you by the husband & wife owners.we had quite the nicest vegetable biryani we had ever eaten. Delicately cooked long grain rice with spicy vegetables. Onion bargees with peshwari nan . Nice atmosphere with traditional Indian music in the background z. Highly recommended & reasonably priced.

Llamé un sábado por la noche para algo de comida después de leer las críticas en línea. Tomamos unos entrantes (Pani Puri y Mumbai Phel) y para la comida principal tuvimos un par de platos pequeños (Paletas de Cordero & Gobi Manchurian) con un Kadai de Cordero. La comida era muy buena, porciones de buen tamaño y sabroso. El personal de espera era servicial y atento. Sin duda volveremos para otra comida con ellos.

Although Chorlton isn't exactly local I have visited twice now, once in 2024 and again on 1st February. On both occasions it was around 6pm and quiet but deservedly busier when we left. On both occasions I was with my teenage son (whose choice it was to travel to the restaurant last weekend) who can be a bit picky but absolutely loves the samosas and chicken dishes. (I even ordered a paneer dish as he'd always questioned how you can have a 'cheese curry'... he wasn't overly impressed but tried it all the same! The food is freshly made and is of great quality and will be back again....

Got a Groupon voucher as a present for Christmas for me and my wife. We had booked in for Tuesday the 21st of January 2025. Unfortunately my wife got took into hospital. So I had to change the date on this. I gave the company a ring and got told to ring back the next day when manager is in. So I rung back next day to be told again the same thing. So I rung them again next day and they said the exact same thing again ring back tomorrow manager not in and as I was speaking the guy just hung up on me. So I rung them back and told them I want to speak to the manager he then told me to ring back in a hour. 2 hours later I get a call back from this company saying they can change the date to a Sunday morning I asked if there is any other dates we could do and he said no either take the Sunday or don’t bother and hung up on me. This company is extremely rude and not helpful at all. Poor service throughout. AVOID if you value your money

Great karai paneer! There once was a Mumbai Tiffin Kitchen, Whose curries oh so delicious, We ordered a bhaji, And all had a party, And the staff were friendly and gracious 🙂

Really great food! Visited on a rainy Mon on January! Great service and made v welcome. All the curries were lovely and fresh and very good size portions.

We booked a meal here for a reunion after Christmas to meet some friends - the food was lovely and the service was friendly - recommend for yummy Indian food - we got an array of dishes and no one was disappointed - can’t wait to return when I’m back in the area

Useless delivery service. 3rd time we've tried to get a delivery, once it was over an hour late and cold, other 2 times we've had to cancel as they can't find our address, and we're less than ¼ mile away!!! Nice place to eat in, but delivery....Avoid.

Lovely, delicious food with a fast service and friendly staff! I have visited a number of times with my partner and the food has always been exceptional! I would highly recommend the gobi manchurian! This place is such a gem!

Excellent meal, really good food and service

We were a large party of 16 but the service and food didn't falter at all. They were super attentive but not overly so, never left waiting for a drink and remembered who ordered what. Best chicken saag in Manchester I think and mixed grill probably too. Only marked down one star for atmosphere because for some reason Celine dion's "my heart will go on" kept playing.

The food is delicious & and good value. The staff are attentive & very friendly. They asked if everything was ok a couple of minutes after serving which I find excellent care. It is warm, friendly, just lacks some atmosphere (modern clean lines) if only a couple of diners in, but in a group it would be great. It is clean, & hygienic (immediately clear plates & wipe down). Kitchen is open to diners, but must be well ventilated since no cooking smells.

Groupon Set Menu - The service was good but sadly the food was ok but nothing special. The Saag paneer wasn't the best, veg samosas were decent but everything else was average. We were charged £1.50 for a takeaway box to take our leftovers home. I wouldn't rush back here as there are much better options for Indian food..

We called in here Friday lunch time just by chance and we didn’t regret it at all! Lovely friendly greeting and a big choice on the menu. The food was piping hot and served very quickly. It was obvious that all the ingredients were fresh and we both agreed it was all really delicious. Definitely going back here - maybe for an evening meal.

This was our first time in this restaurant and it definitely won’t be the last! We’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in the UK (and India!) and this food is delicious! The staff were really friendly and welcoming and it made for a great atmosphere and experience. It’s hard to believe that anyone could leave a poor review for this place. Don’t let a negative minority stop you trying this restaurant out! We thoroughly recommend it and will definitely be back soon!

Incredible service, delicious food, new favourite curry house!!

Food was really bad in here. The chicken jalfrezi just taste like chicken in a tomato sauce with chilli it didn’t taste like jalfreizi whatsoever. The dal makhni was horrible and didn’t taste like much and the naan was supposed to be garlic but didn’t taste garlicky whatsoever. Asked for a partial refund as we had only eaten a bite or two each and was only given £4 off.

Easily the worst Indian food I have ever had. I should have known before walking in it was so quiet. Neither myself or my partner ate our meals and I was only offered 15% discount, equating to a saving of £4. Not good at all, avoid at all cost.

We used groupon voucher, guess thats reason for the small portions. At least the portion size should have been mentioned on group on deal or when reserving the table. Curry is made to the palette of the British, so not the authentic mumbai taste, but some masala mixed with the tomato paste. Disappointed.

Pathetic food. Just looting people in the name of Mumbai tiffin. I order Malai brocoli it was Pathetic I will suggest people to go and try in ziya instead in same price with good taste and quantity. Aloo tikaa chat is one of the most horrible experience I ever had. Honestly chit chat is far far far far better then Mumbai tiffin. Never going to order again. No cutlery no napkins nothing . PATHETIC SERVICE!!! Please respect people's hard earned money you guys are looting people trust me

Honestly 10/10 amazing food and great service. The mango lassie was a tasty way to finish off the meal. The food tasted like authentic Indian food. I highly recommend this restraunt. I went with three vegetarians and they seemed to have a variety of veggie dishes.

Ordered a home delivery for my daughters birthday and they got my got my order wrong- they missed off the papadums and chutney's for the starters. Unfortunately one of the younger kids didn't eat because he eats his curry (food) with dipping in papadums. Really disappointed,

Hubby booked me a surprise late Lunch / tea. Firstly was greated by the front ov house what looked like he'd been wearing his shirt for several wks, 😳think it had more food on it than we ate 🤣🤣. Secondly there was a lot ov ping n Ding going on and not much smell coming out worring 🙄, we basically had our starter n main and out in less than 40 minutes 😝, youde think they would want to look busy. The front ov house was either buzy picking his nose or helping him self to drinks 🤣🤣. Food overall hugely dissapointing, second meal weave had in chorloton and that was poor. Good job my Conpany was good. 😋,

Went here on 11th August 2024, had been previously but now under new management. The new owner took our orders, gave advice to my daughter about the heat levels, he was very friendly and attentive. 4 of us ordered different starters and mains, we were all happy with the food which was all very fresh and tasty. Would definately go again.

Service is so slow! 1.5hours for food to be ready for pick up and at least 2hours wait for it to be delivered from deliveroo order. I'm full from waiting. I'll never order from here again.

We had the Bombay butter chicken & the chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and naan breads. They were honestly stunning. Nicest Indian food I’ve had since I have relocated to Manchester. Can’t wait to come back!! Uday was such a lovely server as well special shoutout.

We visited today for quick bite. The starters and main food was good. Service was fantastic. The Chef is from Uttarakhand. So it is genuine Indian Restaurant. Will visit again.

We took our Didsbury Curry Club on a trip to Chorlton due to an unreal offer on Groupon. So let’s get that out of the way first… the value for money here is 10/10. But taking that out of the equation, the food was spot on. Shout out to the humble onion bhaji and my personal favourite, Gobi Manchurian. The three curries on the table were really good (butter chicken a little too fruity for my liking!) and the rice was lovely (always winning when you add the crunchy onions on top). The naan wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it disappeared quick enough. The gentleman who looked after us - and the entire restaurant by himself - was class. Rushed off his feet but still attentive. Would absolutely recommend.

First time here and we wasn’t disappointed .the food was so flavorsome . Fresh produce and delicious .i had the chilli chicken starter .it was amazing .my wife had the fish starter .for my main I went for the lamb biryani with raita . Again it was delicious, all washed down with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Would definitely recommend this street food restaurant. Our waiter UDAY was so attentive and helpful all with a big smile . Went for lunch on Monday afternoon 1. vada pav - was tasty but too oily. Was most likely double fried 2. Veg kolhapuri- was very sweet. Which is very atypical. Vegetables were half cooked 3. Veg Malvani - was nothing but onion gravy. With May be some tomatoes. Wont go back.

The Chicken Jalfrezi was just chicken+capsicum+onion in a tomato sauce (literally tasted like ketchup) and the naan was yellowish and had a dominating taste of khameer/yeast or soda. They weren't serving cocktails. Was very empty for a Friday dinner service. We were the only table seated. I am a person who loves to support small and authentic businesses but this one really put me off. The server was very humble and polite, would give him 5/5 for being an awesome server. Good luck.

Food was OK, service nothing special. Not partucularly friendly or engaging and as we were the only people in the restaurant when we arrved, would have expected a more genial host. Portions not terribly good as not really much chicken in our meals. As we had large starters we thought we woud take some main course and rice home. Asked for a doggy bag and this was duly given to us when we left. Got home and found the chicken dish was about a quarter of what we left and possibly not even our meal! Very disappointed and would not recommend and will not return.

One of the best curries I have had, and I've had a few. Intimate and very clean restaurant. Such a shame it was practically empty on a Thursday evening. They deserve support. Garlic and chilli nan bread perfect as was jalfrezi and lamb sag

Very rude young lady at the counter. She looked down upon me all the time as I dared to ask for the offer that the restaurant itself was doing and which was boldly displayed at the front window to attract customers! She lied that she doesn’t know anything about the offer but later emerged she was part of the family who owned the restaurant! She was toxically judgemental just because I had enquired about the offer and asked for the discount to be applied to my bill as advertised on the front window

Our first visit on a Groupon. Thoroughly enjoyed our food. Well worth our trip over from Bolton and would most certainly go again because of the food quality. Finding a parking space was a little difficult even though we visited on a Monday at 17:30.

Very quiet at lunchtime but brilliant food and service.

Really disappointing, especially with some of the hard hitters in Chorlton. Under cooked Bhajis that are far too spicy (bhajis don’t need to be spicy). The Lamb was tough and lacked flavour. The chicken korma was watery as tasteless. No depth in any of the dishes. Papdam basket doesn’t include dips. £62 for a meal for two - over priced and seriously under delivered. Don’t waste your money here. You will be disappointed. The worst curry house in Chorlton.

Still good but very quiet tonight. I like this place it's very friendly, the food is good and the menu is interesting. Everything is served on steel plates as in India cafés, the music is Indian pop and the place has a good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable.

Went last night with family, surprised to see no one else in at 5pm. We had varied food, from poppadoms to starters, chicken and lamb curry mains with a couple of sides. Couldn't fault any of it, plenty of meat, good service, worth a visit.
