Great friendly service, lovely food

This was our first time in this restaurant and it definitely won’t be the last! We’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in the UK (and India!) and this food is delicious! The staff were really friendly and welcoming and it made for a great atmosphere and experience. It’s hard to believe that anyone could leave a poor review for this place. Don’t let a negative minority stop you trying this restaurant out! We thoroughly recommend it and will definitely be back soon!

Food was really bad in here. The chicken jalfrezi just taste like chicken in a tomato sauce with chilli it didn’t taste like jalfreizi whatsoever. The dal makhni was horrible and didn’t taste like much and the naan was supposed to be garlic but didn’t taste garlicky whatsoever. Asked for a partial refund as we had only eaten a bite or two each and was only given £4 off.

Easily the worst Indian food I have ever had. I should have known before walking in it was so quiet. Neither myself or my partner ate our meals and I was only offered 15% discount, equating to a saving of £4. Not good at all, avoid at all cost.

We used groupon voucher, guess thats reason for the small portions. At least the portion size should have been mentioned on group on deal or when reserving the table. Curry is made to the palette of the British, so not the authentic mumbai taste, but some masala mixed with the tomato paste. Disappointed.

Pathetic food. Just looting people in the name of Mumbai tiffin. I order Malai brocoli it was Pathetic I will suggest people to go and try in ziya instead in same price with good taste and quantity. Aloo tikaa chat is one of the most horrible experience I ever had. Honestly chit chat is far far far far better then Mumbai tiffin. Never going to order again. No cutlery no napkins nothing . PATHETIC SERVICE!!! Please respect people's hard earned money you guys are looting people trust me

Honestly 10/10 amazing food and great service. The mango lassie was a tasty way to finish off the meal. The food tasted like authentic Indian food. I highly recommend this restraunt. I went with three vegetarians and they seemed to have a variety of veggie dishes.

Ordered a home delivery for my daughters birthday and they got my got my order wrong- they missed off the papadums and chutney's for the starters. Unfortunately one of the younger kids didn't eat because he eats his curry (food) with dipping in papadums. Really disappointed,

The place is to hangout with friends and it family friendly. They have got amazing food and good atmosphere for parties if ypu request them to. Its very budget friendly. The staff is very upbeat and cheerful and good to talk to with also being helpful

Hubby booked me a surprise late Lunch / tea. Firstly was greated by the front ov house what looked like he'd been wearing his shirt for several wks, 😳think it had more food on it than we ate 🤣🤣. Secondly there was a lot ov ping n Ding going on and not much smell coming out worring 🙄, we basically had our starter n main and out in less than 40 minutes 😝, youde think they would want to look busy. The front ov house was either buzy picking his nose or helping him self to drinks 🤣🤣. Food overall hugely dissapointing, second meal weave had in chorloton and that was poor. Good job my Conpany was good. 😋,

Went here on 11th August 2024, had been previously but now under new management. The new owner took our orders, gave advice to my daughter about the heat levels, he was very friendly and attentive. 4 of us ordered different starters and mains, we were all happy with the food which was all very fresh and tasty. Would definately go again.

Service is so slow! 1.5hours for food to be ready for pick up and at least 2hours wait for it to be delivered from deliveroo order. I'm full from waiting. I'll never order from here again.

We had the Bombay butter chicken & the chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and naan breads. They were honestly stunning. Nicest Indian food I’ve had since I have relocated to Manchester. Can’t wait to come back!! Uday was such a lovely server as well special shoutout.

We visited today for quick bite. The starters and main food was good. Service was fantastic. The Chef is from Uttarakhand. So it is genuine Indian Restaurant. Will visit again.

We took our Didsbury Curry Club on a trip to Chorlton due to an unreal offer on Groupon. So let’s get that out of the way first… the value for money here is 10/10. But taking that out of the equation, the food was spot on. Shout out to the humble onion bhaji and my personal favourite, Gobi Manchurian. The three curries on the table were really good (butter chicken a little too fruity for my liking!) and the rice was lovely (always winning when you add the crunchy onions on top). The naan wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it disappeared quick enough. The gentleman who looked after us - and the entire restaurant by himself - was class. Rushed off his feet but still attentive. Would absolutely recommend.

Faced with distinctly average hotel food ventured out to this small restaurant, was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and service great, Uday was attentive and helpful when picking my food, can thoroughly recommend and will be back

First time here and we wasn’t disappointed .the food was so flavorsome . Fresh produce and delicious .i had the chilli chicken starter .it was amazing .my wife had the fish starter .for my main I went for the lamb biryani with raita . Again it was delicious, all washed down with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Would definitely recommend this street food restaurant. Our waiter UDAY was so attentive and helpful all with a big smile . Went for lunch on Monday afternoon 1. vada pav - was tasty but too oily. Was most likely double fried 2. Veg kolhapuri- was very sweet. Which is very atypical. Vegetables were half cooked 3. Veg Malvani - was nothing but onion gravy. With May be some tomatoes. Wont go back.

They weren't serving cocktails. Was very empty for a Friday dinner service. We were the only table seated. I am a person who loves to support small and authentic businesses but this one really put me off. The server was very humble and polite, would give him 5/5 for being an awesome server. Good luck

Food was OK, service nothing special. Not partucularly friendly or engaging and as we were the only people in the restaurant when we arrved, would have expected a more genial host. Portions not terribly good as not really much chicken in our meals. As we had large starters we thought we woud take some main course and rice home. Asked for a doggy bag and this was duly given to us when we left. Got home and found the chicken dish was about a quarter of what we left and possibly not even our meal! Very disappointed and would not recommend and will not return.

One of the best curries I have had, and I've had a few. Intimate and very clean restaurant. Such a shame it was practically empty on a Thursday evening. They deserve support. Garlic and chilli nan bread perfect as was jalfrezi and lamb sag

The waiter was extremely kind and service was generally excellent with the food delivered quickly. Lots of veggie options the matter panner (main) and samosa chaat (starter) was delicious. Overall a great place to eat in Chorlton.

Very rude young lady at the counter. She looked down upon me all the time as I dared to ask for the offer that the restaurant itself was doing and which was boldly displayed at the front window to attract customers! She lied that she doesn’t know anything about the offer but later emerged she was part of the family who owned the restaurant! She was toxically judgemental just because I had enquired about the offer and asked for the discount to be applied to my bill as advertised on the front window

Our first visit on a Groupon. Thoroughly enjoyed our food. Well worth our trip over from Bolton and would most certainly go again because of the food quality. Finding a parking space was a little difficult even though we visited on a Monday at 17:30.

Very quiet at lunchtime but brilliant food and service.

Really disappointing, especially with some of the hard hitters in Chorlton. Under cooked Bhajis that are far too spicy (bhajis don’t need to be spicy). The Lamb was tough and lacked flavour. The chicken korma was watery as tasteless. No depth in any of the dishes. Papdam basket doesn’t include dips. £62 for a meal for two - over priced and seriously under delivered. Don’t waste your money here. You will be disappointed. The worst curry house in Chorlton.

Still good but very quiet tonight. I like this place it's very friendly, the food is good and the menu is interesting. Everything is served on steel plates as in India cafés, the music is Indian pop and the place has a good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable.

Went last night with family, surprised to see no one else in at 5pm. We had varied food, from poppadoms to starters, chicken and lamb curry mains with a couple of sides. Couldn't fault any of it, plenty of meat, good service, worth a visit.

I’m a vegetarian!!!! So my reviews are based on the vegetarian food. The food served here was slightly disappointing to us as the restaurant claims Mumbai foods. We had Pani puri which was good, gobi Manchurian was not to the expectations, vada pav was a disaster (usually the Mumbai based restaurant servers very tasty dish), Paav bhaji was a good serve. As a main course we ordered biriyani, veg Hakka noodles, veg jelfrezi, and couple of naans. The dishes were bit spicy but was manageable (we asked to make it spicy as most of the restaurant around serves less spicy). The portions were perfect. The ambience is good, reservation to the restaurant is recommended during rush hours, parking lot in front of the restaurant is not reliable sometimes it gets full. There is a nearby shopping centre where car parks available.

Went in on a Friday Evening with my Fiance. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and the waiter was incredibly helpful. He advised any items on the menu could be served mild medium or hot which was perfect. Everything we ate was exceptional and the spice level spot on as I prefer mild (the waiter even checked to make sure it was mild enough). The portions were generous and we didn't have to wait too long for the food I cannot recommend enough and we will definitely be coming back again

Best Indian food I’ve had in recent years , very authentic & spicy but flavourful

I had paneer butter masala curry, gobi manchurian & pulao rice for a sunday takeaway. It is one of the best meals, everything is well cooked, tasty, flavourful and feel healthy.

Serves best vegetarian food in chorlton. Must try Lamb kadai ,Chicken kadai.

Really good selection of vegetarian and vegan food on the menu. Food was tasty and good value. Staff were friendly. Service was a little slow at the start. On the whole though very good - would recommend.

Popped in for a light lunch while on a pub crawl in the area. Paulicarus ordered a pint of draught Kingfisher. ( Cobra only in bottles.) Had poppadums as an appetiser. Nice and fresh. Then Gobi Manchurian and a Chilli Chicken. Probably the best Gobi ever. Lovely spicing and a great crispy texture. Loved both dishes. Hope to be back and try the mains.

An absolutely gorgeous place with amazing food, ran by a lovely family that really know their proper traditional dishes which you can rarely find anywhere else. The only proper curry house in Chorlton. I'm now a regular. Forget any negative comments: they're usually about the delivery process, delivery drivers or some sort of order misunderstanding, from what I've seen, but never about the food, the restaurant or the service which are impeccable. Prices are reasonable, or, at least, reasonable for the great food quality. Definitely recommend.

Just had the most beautiful meal here! It’s a really relaxed restaurant and the people are so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible, and there were so many vegetarian options. I’m allergic to nuts and felt so comfortable with the menu as all allergens were labelled clearly, which made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Thank you for such a lovely meal!

asked something they have on the menu to be taken out as a phone order and they refused straight away and wouldn't let me collect it to so I could take home Update: After posting the review I get a phone call with the worst customer services skills. Instead the owner of the restaurant talks to me in a rude and threatening way. When I hang up he sends me abusive messages. If this continues I am reporting this to Police.

Some of the best Indian food we have had for years. Brilliant onion bhaji, beautiful paneer in a very good mutter paneer, excellent chicken saag. Was our first visit, will definitely return.

Food and service really good. 2 persons had bad stomach shortly after. Checked food hygiene and it’s a disappointing 2. There is no excuse for this other than can’t be arsed to clean. We will not return until hygiene standards reach 5 which many other establishments manage

Absolutely outstanding food - fresh, spicy and delicious. Great modern, clean and stripped back cafe vibe with a clear view of the kitchen. Probably the best chilli paneer I’ve had. Not a dud note on the whole menu.

Had lunch at Mumbai Tiffin room, would rate the food, I had the vada pav, paratha and Mumbai potatoe dish, very tasty and they make a really good chai too. Would definitely come back

We love this place! Proper authentic Indian food, great menu and quality ingredients. My personal favourites are the Biryani and the Haryali Chicken. Eating in brings the benefits of Mango Lassi :-)

The food is here is incredible. Lovely restaurant and great staff with authentic dishes. Their biriyani is the best around and their green Hariyali chicken is excellent. Food is affordable but great quality. Use their website to order takeaway and ditch the third party apps too as it’s much cheaper! A hidden gem in South Manchester!

Great place - easy and attentive team, happy to explain the food and help you choose. Went in a family group and tried a range of starters and mains - all really good. Deep flavours gently applied - everything tasted lovely. The butter chicken was ace! Also - good range for vegans.

The food was pretty average. It was hot (as in chilli hot) but had no real flavour. I had veggie stuff, aloo gobi, paneer tikka and a couple of veggie starters.

Food was lovely, mixed grill came piping hot. Naan bread was amazing. Overall good. Waiter was friendly
