I would go everyday if I could bang on food

Had lamb curry, only 4 pieces of small meat, it didn't taste freshly cooked, had can and nan charged me £12!!!!and I had runs aswell, I think the good reviews are from themselves and family and friends. Regret it very much,...

My childHood restuarant my dad use to bring me here for lunch when we were buying clothes for the markets, there food is so tasty and we to come from ireland by ferry and we would stay in manchester for cuple of days and eat here every day. Even today i think about kabana bbq Lamb chops the best i have had in the world. Every day they do 5/6 different curries and there starters are amazing. im booking a ticket from ireland just come here for there amazing food. I don’t care about the price once food is tasty

I've been to this place afew times. I order more or less the same food all the time. But everytime I go there I get charged a different price. Depends on who's serving you. I got charged 3 different prices for a chicken tikka kebab with 2 seekh kebabs on it and a can a pop. Same happens when I order a curry a nan bread and a can. I don't mind paying more but these guys are rip offs. You don't get much meat in the curries/ chicken tikka 5 small pieces and they give you tiny nan breads. So you order more. Not value for money. Considering it's hard with the cost of living crisis. More cheaper and better quality options across the road.

Came here for lunch with a colleague and lord almighty, this was gorgeous! I had a cheese naan and lamb masala, and this wasn't like any masala I had before, and I'm pretty sure it'll ruin future masalas too, because it was gorgeous! The lamb fell apart and the flavours were bouncing everywhere! It wasn't the red food coloured bland stuff you get from a standard takeaway, this had depth and passion into it! The cheese naan was huge, tore apart nicely and the string pull was on point! Had a vegetable samosa too with a salad and you know a place is good when even their salad is tasty! The service was quick, pay after eating and the guys were friendly, welcoming and even remembered what we had ordered, and hour later and after many people later. I highly recommend here to anyone, lunch or dinner! The only downside which they can't control is parking is pretty awful down the side road so just find a spot if you can.

I kept getting told about this takeaway and finally went today. Was absolutely gorgeous. Best I've had. Just wish it was open at night aswell

Order food chops couldn't break it .. Siskabab had us rock. Nehari was good but meat smells... Gone down hill sorry no more .came from out of city...

I asked specifically if the Keema peas was lamb mince and was assured it was. Got home and it was chicken mince. Why lie. If you lie about that then what else are they lying about?

The best rice and three curry in Manchester. It just does not feel the need to flaunt itself on social media Spices are excellent each week and the daily menu makes it worth a visit at any point. They don't cut corners with the rice. Karahi Lamb, Chicken Masala and Mixed Veg a must. Been going weekly for over 5 years and love it. The owner and staff are decent and honourable people too

Go here for amazing food. They have the absolute best cheese naan.. and amazing hot and spicy veg curries. I am aware from my friends this place also serves best lamb chops, and biriyani The atmosphere / ambience is not important when food is so finger licking good

Started eating here in 1989. Lamb karahi ( on the bone ) plenty of Garam Masala, Chillies , Ginger and Coriander sprinkled on the top ) , was a weekly event till we moved to Cornwall in 2008. Family and Grandchildren makes for a wonderful excuse to return . NEVER DISAPPOINTED. There’s no Curry house like it ( apart from Tib St ) .

The currys are great.. everyday is a different curry.. plus you can get 3 currys an rice for 1 set price.. lovely food. Definitely worth a taste

Used to go here years ago. Went in today and I'm soo glad it hasn't changed the food is still epic. I'm proper fussy with my curry and samosa's.. 100% give it a try you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend the samosa with all the salad and chilli sauce... Had the chicken masala today and that was really nice, the chickenwas tender, not like the slightly chewy bits you get from other places... Wish I would of took a picture

Absolutely amazing food and a nostalgic atmosphere, reminiscent of my growing up days. We don't see many curry houses like this anymore. It was promising from the moment I walked into the restaurant. The daily menu had classical dishes like karahi lamb, chicken karahi, keema mattar, BBQ chops etc. The staff are genuine, friendly and down to earth and food is fresh and authentically tasty, like a 'dabha'. I ordered lamb karahi off the bone, chicken tikka, tandoori rotis, desi tea. Everything was tasty and freshly made. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. Don't judge a book by it's cover!

I've been going here for maybe 30 years. It's been consistently good and really has not changed. The food is amazing. The service is quick and friendly. Now, when we go, we sit in and eat lunch and order a takeaway for us and our daughters' families and drop them into them on the way home. It's a 3 hour round trip for us but worth every minute and mile to get such amazing food.

Been going to Kabana for years hands down the best curry house in Manchester food & services is always on point thanks manny always looks after us.

Been eating here for 3 decades chicken tikka , lamb tikka , lamb chops the best I have ever had . Home made & I mean home made curries you can taste the difference. Highly recommended .

This place is delicious. Really authentic and full of oil curries, lol. If you care about aesthetics, or going on a date or want to impress your mates, I wouldn’t eat here as the tables and chairs alone will be too dainty and cheap for you. But if you want to just have good hearty grub, it’s the place to go.

This is one of the oldest Asian restaurants in Manchester. They are only open for Lunch and really a hole in a wall place with great food with friendly service. Back again for Dhaal. Love the taste. The Pakistani food is really traditional

I’ve been coming to Kabana for many years and was here again on Wednesday with my dad. We shared chicken tikka kebab pieces, chops ,lamb curry(off the bone) ,keema n peas and a potato n cauliflower curry together with rice n a garlic naan. It’s a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly with the food served in good time. The price is reasonable and I look forward to my next visit there.It’s also good as a take away option.

The best Nihari ever…. Served only on Sundays , this speciality doesn’t taste this nice anywhere else. The place looks humble, like a truckers cafe, but the food quality is fresh and tasty - highly recommended

Whenever I get the opportunity I pop to Kabana in Cheetham Hill for lunch. My latest visit was just as good as any previous ones. Had a rice and three as normal. The lamb curry in particular was spectacular, although the chicken and Keema curries were also very good. Basic facilities but friendly staff and plenty of places to park for free. An absolute no brainer. Five stars. AGAIN!

Got food poisoning from eating here. I’m not sure why I’m surprised as the hygiene at the place is shocking. Never ever again.

It’s a lovely food place and I’ve bin going for years but over the last year I’ve noticed they change you want they want… I’ve bin keeping my receipt for the same food as I always get the same it cost me 26 pound for 2 curry’s rice chips and 2 cans of coke , now that’s a joke

We have been to Kabana many times friendly place for family to go for dinner, and it has always been great The service and food was, again, great. You don't need to go down to the curry mile to find the best Indian food in Manchester

I'm used to eating in cheap places but this place was a bit grim with their stiff plastic chairs. The chairs were stained with food and they leave a roll of kitchen towels out so I think you're expected to clean them yourself before sitting down. Food was OK but portion sizes are just average. They dish it up straight onto a bowl in front of you, like how school dinner ladies do. The food didn't come with any garnish so didn't feel very balanced. For 2 curries, 2 rice portions and one plain naan with 3 cans of rubicon, our price came to £19 which is OK but not dirt cheap like you'd expect in a place this run down. Overall not a great dining experience. If you want to try it, I'd recommend just getting a take out

It is self service restaurant, fresh food served here, like there chicken tikka and lamb Karahi, chapati, their all foods cooked daily, their chairs are fixed with tables haven't wide place for heavy build people, you can take out food ,their standard of food is always good I like it

Excellent Nihari (Sunday only) .. it was my third time and i am never disappointed.. all my family and friends enjoy the Nihari.. we have yet to try other things in the menu

Lamb chops, chicken tikka sandwich, curries, rice, those perfect nanns and chapati.....love it! The boys down in town doing rice and 3 might get all the plaudits but for us lot working outside town this is the "go too" curry lunch! Never disappoints.
