This is a lovely venue with a great feel. I saw Me First and the Gimme Gimmes incorporated. Brilliant. Sound pretty good but the lighting was a bit of a letdown for the support in particular.

Watched Tori Kelly live yesterday with my Wife she is one of the best live artists you'll see! Queuing has to be outside which isn't fun when it's pissing it down! But once inside didn't have issues with toilet access and drink queues moved quickly. It's an all standing venue but I'd say it suits smaller shows and we had a great time. The sound was good which was what counted here. Cloak room queues are huge which we didn't have to use luckily but I suppose that would be an issue at all venues.

NCH is a great place to meet up and socialize with friends, family or work colleagues. Spacious with plenty of seating, friendly bar staff and an eclectic choice of food from the different foods service areas spread around the place. One quick scan of a QR code on the table and the menu for all the different foods comes up. The food arrived surprisingly fast. It's usually quite busy so the atmosphere is great. Highly recommended.

Was outside in the astro bar tent. The place was empty when we arrived so lacked atmosphere. I am certain that it will be buzzing on an evening..the food is ordered, was the pigs in blankets hot dog. If I'm honest, I wouldn't order that again. It's very rich and was only just warm. I imagine that is due to its journey outside from the kitchens. My Daughter had the potatoes, which sounds boring but was a much tastier dish. Recommended. All in all, great potential. But in need of a little refining.

Great venue. Staff professional, great set up for concerts, if anything it seemed a notch too loud in first rows (and yeah I can’t believe I’m saying that about a concert lol, but my ears were hurting a bit), great view on the stage from anywhere in the venue, proper clean toilets, drinks in reasonable prices. Overall I will be happy coming back for next concerts

Watched a band in the main hall and ate at The Kitchen beforehand. Was a lovely experience from start to finish, nice and clean and spacious. I like the QR Code and table service for the food and drinks, all the better as I currently have a dodgy knee so am on crutches. I ordered food/drink from three different places (great options) and stayed seated and chatting throughout, very civilised. Had to go out and back around to the front to get into the concert bit, which was a bit of a faff but understandable. Then the staff noted my current disability and offered the use of a lift up to the hall, Stan very kindly took us up and brought us back down again at the end and let us out a side door so we didn't have to jostle through the crowd, very thoughtful service and a pleasant young man. The hall itself was lovely, the sound was brilliant and although the show was sold out and the hall very full, we weren't jammed in like sardines which was great (I hate it when places money grab by overselling and it's becomes uncomfortable and dangerous). The special floor was nice and springy and although currently unable to bounce about myself, those around me were and I benefited from their residual bounce waves (it's a thing, honest 😀). Overall very nice indeed. Will be going back again

Music venue is a wonderful, simple hall with an amazing feeling of being back in the 1970's.....I expected T Rex, or The Spiders from Mars to step out onto the stage. As with a lot of the Manchester music venues, the bar staff are young, enthusiastic and numerous. The bar downstairs was a happy mix of ages, everyone getting on with having a good time. Altogether a Stella night

Absolutely dreadful experience. Was part of a large group on who all ordered via the QR code. As others have said, it was also quite pricey for what you actually got. Someone in the group ordered a burger and it was literally a burger in a bun (no garnish or dressings or salad etc) and a handful of chips for £16. Ordered 2 starters and 2 mains from the Koi Fusion outlet. Waited over half an hour and not a single dish turned up. Went to check on what was going on, but the rude female employee barked at me to order from the bar; didn’t even want to know why I was approaching her. Spoke to a member of staff who investigated, and came back and informed it would be another 45 minutes before a single dish would be ready - chicken wings and gyoza takes over an hour to cook?!?! Seemed completely uninterested and didn’t even want to offer any sort of culinary compensation for us given we’d now been waiting 40 minutes for food. Cancelled the order and got a refund and went elsewhere, prematurely leaving the group and ruining the evening. Also, the music was far too loud for a food court. People were practically shouting at each other to be heard. Won’t be going back.

*Review for Food Hall, not the venue* Short Ver. - Food is great, although there are limited vegan/vegetarian options depending on where you go. The staff are happy to see you in, but want you out as soon as you are done. I'd only recommend going if you are short on time when seeing an artist at New Century Hall and can afford to spend a pretty penny. My Dad and I went to the Food Hall 1.25 hours before doors open (19:00) for Gary Clark Jr. Initially the atmosphere was great, and a young lady with long, wavy red hair kindly informed us of limited availability - which was expected. Thankfully, we managed to find a table for two, and sat down at a table which had been reserved from 19.15. When we sat down, we scanned the QR code to find the menus for the different stalls. As my Dad is vegan, his choices were limited. This was further emphasised by a large handful of vegan options being sold out. He enquired a couple stalls about this, and was turned away by being told to order from the app. Unfortunately, he could only pick one of two things, but to compensate the wait was not long. My food also arrived before the scheduled time, and we thought both our meals were lovely - the only reason why we gave 4 stars on this is because the portion sizes were small, and does not fully justify the price we paid for them. I also had to ask for napkins and cutlery, as all we had on our table were three knives. As we were eating our food, we were notified several times the table had been reserved for someone 20 mins later, then 15, then 10. While we understood it was busy, this ultimately disrupted our dining experience, having to stop eating to acknowledge the waiter. Once we had finished our meal and enjoyed our drinks, the, red haired waitress asked us quite assertively to leave the table - again this was understandable, and so we thanked her... however she did not respond. Assuming she did not hear us, I thanked her again, and it was clear that she had a bit of an attitude and was deliberately ignoring us. To see the waitress who had nicely greeted us turn uptight as we were leaving seriously makes me question the staff's after sales skills.

We went to see randy feltface, 8.30 showing, to get in we had to understandably wait in a qué which stretched around to the back of the theatre. If you're with someone who's not able to stand for long contact the theatre before attending is my advice. Security were great with the lady in our group who had difficulty, but there was an incident between some horrible Scottish guy and a guy who suffered from sciatica who had to sit down on a wall whilst in the queue. Again security did a great job sorting that out. We managed to get into the hall after about 30 mins. We reconvened with our friends and sat on what I can only describe as the most un-butt worthy chairs I have ever had the incontinence to sit on. It was hell with four legs. The floor is obviously flat, as I think the venue is usually standing only. Meaning the huge guys we ended up sat behind eclipsed all of our views of the stage. After being unable to focus on Brodie snook for the giant bald head I was sat behind, I never knew they made heads that big, after a half hour she finished and left the stage. And they had a twenty minute interval, twenty minutes. Ugh you'd have thought we were warmed up and could continue to the main event but noooo. Let's cool everyone right back down. Eventually the lights dimmed and randy started his act, oh, some of the lights pointed at the audience were blinding, everyone missed the first time the banana popped up because we were blinded, however it was awesome the lighting seemed on the whole good we had rearranged our foursome in an attempt to match our oversized stage eclipsers. And randy started to speak... the sound was so muffled I couldn't understand anything that was being said, so much so on the car journey home I mentioned I thought I should go get a hearing test to which everyone else said the same thing. None of us understood a word of randys opening gambit. Probably why we all found the inflatable banana bit so hilarious. I was leaning right into the isle for the entire performance to gain my view of randy down the isle. When we had messages from our 15 year old son. I left briefly to talk with him, omg he had been assaulted back home while out playing basketball with his friends after speaking to him for five minutes he seemed fine just a little shaken, I told him to get something to eat and drink and that we would be home around midnight. The rest of the show understandably I wasn't really able to focus which was a shame. Anyway in conclusion wait not great sound quality is bad, seating horrific. Hope others had a better night than us maybe we will go out again in another five years or so.

I also didn’t like that you had to put your phone number in and get a verification code to order, it took ages for the codes to come through. 2 stars because of the gender neutral toilets, as a woman I think it’s quite alarming that venues think that this is ok.

Really nice venue with excellent lighting and atmosphere. The drinks were a little on the expensive side but the staff were friendly.

Only came for a daytime drink, looks really cool and would try again, but the music was a big turn off, Heart FM style playlist in a cool venue! Very odd vibe.

Cracking venue in Manchester . Defo worth a follow and see who pops up. Been 3 times and the love the layout of the room . Sound pretty decent as well . Food hall downstairs is worth a visit as well

The a whole village in itself with the amount of choice and the venue next door - but doesn't feel like a *food court." More like a pop up that thankfully sticks around.
