Great choice of Asian food. The Pad Thai was excellent.

Had dinner here when out with friends and had a great meal! Buzzy vibe upstairs and the food was so fresh and we enjoyed all the dishes! Favourites were the pad thai and the seas bass! Also great value for money for the amount and quality of food

The Thai food is great, the service is very fast, the tables are big, I like the decoration and the food portions are big.

The restaurant is spacious and having a good vibes, the food here were tasty, but the portions of each was a little bit small.Staff were helpful and friendly.

Tapas but good portions lovely an fresh had lunch deal 12-5pm 2 for £12. Food very tasty..mussels in broth hake fillet crispy chilli beef ribs beef curry chicken noodles all off deal menu. They add service charge which is fine but I prefer to decide on tip myself. Very good value an quality. Will definitely go back.

The best Asian restaurant in Liverpool

We came to celebrate a great man’s 60th birthday. A great athlete, cricketer and music maker. The service was great as usual with Thai’s friendly touch. The manager made sure her team kept everybody needs attended to. I had my usual sambal ikan, nasi lemak and mee laksa with mango.

First time here and I was happy with my experience. The food was tasty and it was presented well. The service was friendly but not overly attentive. Would definitely return

Absolutely cracking place. Food was amazing. The lunch deal is really good. 2 plates is definitely enough for a decent lunch.

We visited Sunday 26th a family of five about 6.30. the staff were very friendly and happy to help as we had not booked a table! we have been many times before but the last three times the food just hasn’t been as good. we had to send the belly pork back and the replacement one was not much better the pad Thai was very disappointing am not sure if the chef has changed but the food quality has definitely changed.

My favourite restaurant, food is always good and the mocktails are the best! The service is really good too, staff are always kind!

Had high hopes of the 2 dishes £12 12-17.00 offer. Positives, friendly and freshly made food vegetarian Pad Thai was outstanding. Negatives all food was exceptionally salty. Portions of Pak Choi and Hake were tiny. Asked for 3 small cokes was charged for and (maybe) given 3 larger ones.. dishes appeared with large and random time gaps in-between ruining lunch, tbh.. I cannot recommend. £42 including 'service' was not good value.. I cannot recommend. I started to give feedback about the meal starting with the drinks and was cut off...🤷‍♂️

Every visit has been enjoyable, great place for great food. Staff are helpful explaining dishes and content, my son is vegetarian/vegan. Never disappointed 🙂

The food and portion size were amazing. Unfortunately, the seating was not the best as we were very close to the door, and it became very crowded when groups arrived, which affected the enjoyment of the evening.

Visited late Saturday afternoon, food really good but service lacking. Very quick to inform that we only have the table for two hours , no one approached our table to ask if food was ok, very hard to get the attention of staff to order drinks, in fact we only had the chance to order 2 rounds, tables not cleared quickly enough, have dined in north John st and experienced a totally different service, disappointing

Not impressed. Firstly we were given a table way too small to pile "small plates" on. Then the starters were ridiculously over-priced for their size and value. We were on a 40% Off offer but some dishes, "conveniently" were excluded (without clear notice) making the offer more like a scam. Finally, without notice, mention or authority they stick a "Service Charge (tip)" on and expect you to embarrass yourself requesting it's removal - especially as the "service" was adequate, to say the least but not tip-worthy. So, all in all, won't recommend and won't be returning. PS: My 1* has gone to 2* as the main course dishes were decent and I want to be as fair and impartial as possible.

Awful, went last week I was still waiting for my 3 small plates when my friends had eaten theirs. Waited 20 mins for drinks, food was very salty and ribs were very chewy, all in all I would never go back food wasn't that grest and service awful

Was so hyped to finally try tiger rock but this did not live up to my expectations whatsoever. Every single thing we ordered, including specials, was served with mountains of vegetables under/over and literally the smallest pieces/amount of what you actually ordered. One prime example is the soft shell crab where we had to sift through tons of vegetables to actually find some crab. This is nothing short of trying to cheat the customer with many unnecessary things to make the plate look larger and to have an excuse to serve less of the meal.

Great place to go for a light bite or a feast. Tiger Rock has a vast menu full of dishes that are unique and offer different flavours and spices that everyone will find something they like. I've visited Tiger Rock on a few occasions and each time it hasn't disappointed. Although it may look small downstairs, there is also a large upstairs seating area. I rang up on a Thursday evening to see if I needed to book, but there was no need as there was availability for me to walk in. The service this time around wasn't as good as I was expecting and the food took a lot longer than usual, however the flavour and freshness of the ingredients more than make up for it. 2 mocktails and 7 dishes later, the total bill including service charge is astoundingly small considering their prices have increased since I was last there (only a small margin on each dish).

Was one of my go to restaurants, hate to say food dropped off excellent. Hope just a little blip

I am an irregular visitor to Liverpool but have eaten here three times. I love the opportunities to share dishes with my family, nice variety and not expensive.

Great food but really got the impression we were forgotten....drinks ordered and delivered but at least 20 minutes before we could order food. Never a fan of plates served as they're ready as previous poor experience, but worked well here.

We found this restaurant on google map and so decided to spend a lunchtime there with family. The menu was affordable and staffs were friendly with great service. The Thai dishes were great and taste really close to the taste of Thai. Will definitely recommend to friends.

The food was ok. The food is served as small dishes, so you order 2/3 dishes. I ordered 3 dishes, 2 noodle types of dishes, + a king prawn dish. I received the king prawn dish 1st, which was very hot + spicy if you like spicy food great, but then I couldn't taste the other 2 dishes as the chilli on the prawn was that hot. The food is brought out to you as it's cooked. So you may receive 1 dish +, then it could be a good 20 minutes or more before you receive your next dish. This may suit some ppl to have a rest between meals. It was a lovely night. We were in the room upstairs. Staff were run off their feet as it was so busy. Would I go back? Maybe not. Not that there is anything wrong with the place. It's just not my choice of food. You would have to give it a try yourself. 😉

We had a big meal here a few weeks ago and overall I thought the restaurant was nice, it was very busy and the service was rather slow but can’t blame that on anything else other than it being a bank holiday weekend. The food was nice, not my favourite experience of Thai food but I appreciate the presentation and themeing.

We came here for dinner and we would highly recommend it. The restaurant serves a lot of Asian small plates like a hawker style market. We had beef satay skewers, chilli crab, cod cheeks, chilli squid as small plates with small bowls which are meat sauce and rice nasi goreng and char Sui fan which is my favourite dish from the restaurant.

Having eaten street food all over the far East I was really looking forward to eating my meal tonight. I was so disappointed it did not even come close to the food I am used to, so sorry will not be back.

Been wanting to come here for so long and finally have! It surpassed my high expectations. Atmosphere was lovely, food was delicious and came out promptly. Som was absolutely lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Came here for the first time tonight. Everything was really tasty, especially the fillet steak and the belly pork. Service and atmosphere were both really good and I’ll definitely be going back again soon.

Lovely little restaurant with two floors of seating. Atmosphere was vibrant and food outstanding. A couple of mistakes with our order but this was smoothed over with extra food. Staff very nice and helpful. Not very disabled friendly especially if you need the toilet.

Good service tasty food not too expensive

Food was really nice so have given 4 stars overall as if you like Thai food then you will not be disappointed. Having said that we were squashed onto the corner table / booth with four seats and there are five of us so it felt a bit cramped. Service was ok / good but I am not a fan of restaurants that automatically add 10% service to your bill.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon when town and the surrounding areas were really busy. We managed to get a table for 2. Within about two mins we had water at the table, five mins later we had cocktails. After that we had about six dishes between the two of us. All absolutely delicious. Lovely staff, insanely good food, delicious cocktails and beer and all at a really good price considering. I can't fault anything and I can only say this; get to Tiger Rock and enjoy a boss Scran. It's the best place in allerton, easy.

This is one of our favourite restaurants for meal. We had lunch here again few days ago when we came to Liverpool from London to visit our daughter and family. The foods, serve in tapas style are just fabulous. We can get a mix of Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean and Vietnamese foods. Will surely come again in our next trip.

Very busy Saturday night but service didn't suffer. Ran like clockwork. Food was very tasty and hot. Excellent quality. Never had South Asian food before but this was a treat.

As a family and with friends we have been going to Tiger Rock for years. Never lets us down. Difficult to recommend dishes as personal taste differs. I love the hake broth, lamb chops ( pink for me) and Chinese ribs. The lovely thing about tapas is that the dishes cooked fresh can be tweaked, for example, I hate anchovies and they do a lovely dish with said hated ingredient so obviously cooked without. Highly recommended

Small portions for the pricey food

We had a table of four on a recent night out, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is generally served in small dishes and we filled our table with many plates, food is so tasty and it's not too pricey either. Certainly worth a visit

I have only ever been served worse food at Wetherspoons but I didn't have to pay £50 for the privilege. The only thing that was nice was the steak, but £11.50 for a steak that was smaller than the head of the fork both along and across is diabolical. It's a fried steak with a soy wasabi mix in a pot on the side, and a tiny bit of ginger on top. Our mains were additionally tiny. I am genuinely sad I went in. Nice building, staff that are not bothered and god awful food.

Very good Thai food, lovely decor. Served almost tapas style so it's great to mix and match. Well labelled allergens, gluten free menu is huge! 😋
