Maggie Fu in Liverpool

We've been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and every dish is super tasty. Great value too. We'll definitely be going back!

Telephoned my order and spoke to a lovely member of staff my order was ready when I got there and was met with a smile and kind words. The food was beautiful and well presented. The take away was every bit as good as sitting in restaurant and was thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely use again. Thankyou

Just been for a family dinner , food is amazing , portions are big but manageable well they were for me , Thai green curry is the best I have ever eaten , the staff were really friendly and very approachable and Rachel was very helpful and very friendly , be definitely going again very soon 5*

Went here first time today with my family and was pleasantly surprised, food was seriously good, great staff and felt very cozy. Next time we'll go however, need to starve myself 2 days prior to comfortable finish the big portions they have 😁

We have been regulars at maggie fu for years and the food is always unreal! Rachel and all the other staff always look after us and are so lovely. Our little boy loves coming and getting made a fuss of. Best veggie spring rolls salt and pepper sui mais abs ramen going 👌🏻

Paid an unplanned visit here on a Saturday and whilst empty when we walked in, the food was very filling and very good. We ordered way way too much. Prawn crackers, dumplings amongst others as starters and main course Mee Goreng, chicken udon in Tom yum broth Nd pineapple and chicken with rice. The Mee Goreng was fantastic, chicken Udon was really good but the pineapple chicken was just a bit boring (nothing wrong with it just dull - which could not be said for my Mee Goreng. Well worth going and the restaurant was buzzing by the time we left.

Had takeaway from here for the first time. What can I say! Just Wow. Food was amazing. Very tasty and huge portions. Enough for another supper tomorrow. Will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend.

Went for a date night dinner with my girlfriend (who hadn't been before) and it was amazing. Rachel looked after us from start to finish, 5 star service! We had the salt and pepper Sui mai's and then duck steamed buns to start, then I had the Katsu chicken curry and my Mrs had the Udon bowl. 10/10! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves Chinese food, food came out pretty quick too! I even got a Udon bowl to take home too.

The food here is absolutely amazing and not to mention the HUGE portion sizes, just wow. The vegetarian menu is absolutely spot on and the tofu cooked perfectly. Rachael served us here today, she is the person that hospitality are missing - joyful and attentive. You can tell she genuinely loves her job. The attitude of staff in restaurants really tells you a lot about the place - it’s very rare to get this level of service these days! Thank you so much, we will be back 🫶🏼

Great food, great service and friendly staff!

Service was brilliant, especially Rachel who went the extra mile. Starters were delicious, mains were lovely but too salty for our taste.

Came here after a great day at the gym and swim. You must make your order at the cashier and you need to pay up front. The card payment machine did not work and so offered to pay in cash. The selection on the Maggie Fu menu has some pretty standard noodle options. We had a little of the Korean glass noodle as it was too sweet! The shredded chicken dish was reasonable with the fried rice. The spring rolls were without the Malaysian chilli sauce. Instead we were given the chilli oil. Overall the hospitality team better than the food/chefs hands down! We asked for doggy bags to pack the waste.

First time visit to Maggie Fu's for a birthday lunch. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. The portions were so large that we ended up taking some home to finish! We were looked after by the lovely Rachel and would recommend a visit.

First time visit and Rachel looked after us really well. Food was fresh and really good value. The big bowls are big and we did our best but never managed to finish them.

Warm friendly welcome and good service from Rachel. Prawn crackers starter followed by king prawn with ginger and spring onion served with fried rice was absolutely scrummy. Partner had chicken satay skewers for his starter followed by sweet and sour chicken with noodles - all very tasty. Great first visit and we look forward to returning.

We came as a family for Mothers Day lunch and not only was the service excellent they looked after my grandson brilliantly- special shout out to Rachel who’s worth her weight in gold- I couldn’t recommend it more. Food and drinks amazing and so reasonable too

We visited Maggie Fu for the first time this evening to celebrate the birthday of our daughter who loves Asian cuisine. One of our children has ASD so we phoned in advance to book a table and the lady on the phone was so friendly and accommodating. As soon as we arrived Rachel came to seat us and went over & beyond to settle our son bringing crayons and some prawn crackers that he loves. We ordered starters of chicken satay, bao buns and sesame prawn toast. They were excellent and the prawn toast was probably the nicest I’ve tasted in years. For mains we opted for crispy beef, sweet & sour chicken and Beef, mixed peppers in black bean sauce. Again the food was delicious and portion sizes huge. Food was so freshly cooked with good quality ingredients and piping hot. Although the restaurant was busy the service was excellent and the server was wonderfully attentive too. We were unable to finish our meals so were given tubs to bring them home to enjoy later. Without a doubt the best restaurant I have visited in years. Exceptional service and we were made to feel like valued customers especially by Rachel. She is a huge asset to Maggie Fu and we are so grateful for her kindness & inclusivity. My son especially loved her. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon.

Food was incredible, got our food really quick. Got excited with the menu and we ordered too much between us, portion sizes where great! but they bagged the food up for us to take home. Rachel and all the other ladies serving were really so lovely! :)

We went on vday but the place was packed and had a long wait. Staff was also busy so we just left. we decided to go back the next day bec it has good reviews. It was still full. But the wait was shorter - around 20mins. Staff encouraged us to wait since people are leaving. You have to order and pay at the till. Then the food will be served to your table. Service was fast. Staff were friendly. Food was good. We ordered roast duck and roast char siu pork. Pork was all meat (not fatty) but still tender. Ho fan beef has a spicy kick and it was good. Portion was big at reasonable prices. Saw a lot of takeaways too for delivery or pickup. It would be nice though if they have some sort of reservation system.

Ordered regularly from Maggie fu for over 3 years however tonight the food was bland, dry and not the usual standard. They also missed a rice off our order. Won’t order again as it is too expensive. Very disappointed.

Today we had a lovey birthday meal . Family of 4 had spring rolls and prawn toast . We really enjoyed them, especially with the dips. We chose 3 big bowls king prawn and a duck dish they were delicious. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and great value for money. I would definitely go back again

Service worse than useless. Called 1855 for a table for two. "Just come down". Arrived 1915 to be told there would be an hour wait for a table. If you actually want food, go somewhere else.

The food at Maggie Fu reminds me of the food you get at McDonald's. I'm convinced there's something in it that keeps you coming back for more. Unlike McDonald's though it's a bit pricey for the quality. 4 pound for a bag of chips I can maybe deal with once or twice. But having paid over 12 pound for "roasted duck" which turned out to be a bowl of rice with some duck skin sprinkled on top was the final straw. The whole order came to £23 and my heart just about broke when I realised what that money had been wasted on.

Made a £60 order on Uber Eats at 18:30. After waiting over 3 hours (Initially told order wouldn’t be more than 70 mins) the app stated my food was ready to be picked up by the driver, but it was cancelled just after 21:30. When calling the restaurant they advised the driver had cancelled the order when they picked it up and has probably taken the food to eat!! Absolutely disgusted. Won’t be ordering again.

Don't bother ordering food on Saturday night. Delivery took 2.5hrs and the restaurant didn't answer any of my telephone calls to get an update or cancel the order. Sadly the food is overrated and priced.

A bus from Liverpool One dropped us off close to the venue. The place was busy but we were welcomed as if we were the only people in there. We sat at bar stools facing the outside but were offered a table just a few minutes later. The staff were, once again, warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, explaining the menu and options simply and clearly. The food arrived much quicker than we’d expected and it was delicious, it really was. We’d thoroughly recommend the salt and pepper chicken and chips, whilst the beef, shrimp and pork noodles were perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Very, very enjoyable indeed.

Georgia was an absolute brilliant server, her customer service was perfect very welcoming and so helpful as I wasn’t from Liverpool, there was another waitress who wasn’t as helpful think her name was Kaz or something along them lines, threw food on table and attitude didn’t seem as professional as others. Had a lovely experience other than one staff member didn’t affect our time here as Georgia was very attentive and lovely would recommend as not everyone can be perfect but did feel like there could have been room for improvement.

My recent visit at Maggie Fu did not disappoint me. I ordered 2 maggie fu special dishes. It had a good portion size. Service was amazing and so was the atmosphere.

Poor service when dining in, considering the price you pay for the food you’d at least like what you’ve ordered to come to your table and not the table next to you (which they accepted). I can accept mistakes, but it happened three times in one sitting, near enough finished our mains by the time the issue with the sides was rectified. I recommend Tokyo on berry street instead.
