My office ordered from here from the first time via DoorDash and I am ecstatic! This is the first place that has sent my nachos with the chips separate from the toppings. I know it is petty, but having the two separate, especially for to go orders, makes a world of difference - No stale chips! Look forward from ordering here again!
Misunderstanding possible unusual :; respect goes both ways . I respect you do you respect me and my mum ? I'm sorry if I'm wrong. But when a gentleman says to me YOU HAVE Everything now. Perhaps I'm wrong ??? 50 quid then 30ish now :;
Genuinely one of the nicest breakfasts I've had in a long time. I had the brink veggie brekkie which was a decent portion, hot, two good bits of halloumi and lots of toast. My partner had the big brink brekkie which had beautiful crispy bacon, two high quality sausages and was a nice big portion. The food was amazing and affordable, the staff there are so friendly and your money is going towards a fantastic cause and space!!
They had a large party in the restaurant and it completely threw the front of house and kitchen staff. They took the drinks and food order fairly quickly and then nothing half or 45 min! A couple that came after us were served (but slowly) and “take away” orders seemed to be processed. After asking for attention a couple of times and assurances given nothing happened. In the end we got up and walked out! They ruined what should have been a nice evening. Won’t be going again and can’t in good faith recommend anything about the place.
Booked for a birthday celebration for 9 people. Unfortunately we were all very disappointed. The mussels were tiny. The pasta was undercooked (couldn't be described as al dente), stodgy, heavy and tasteless. Probably the worst pasta I've tasted and the worst Italian 'restaurant' I've been to.
The village pub The Highland Drove was once used by drovers who watered their cattle at The Dub, just outside the village. It dates to the mid-1700s and offers bedrooms, a varied and seasonal menu based on local produce and an excellent location for exploring the Eden Valley and Lake District
Fantastic range of beers, friendly staff, dog friendly, beer garden and roadside parking make it an ideal pub to visit.
