Nice atmosphere and good quality food. Have been a couple of times to hope street and each time there’s been something I wanted that wasn’t available.

Absolutely loved it. So so happy with the vegan options. Really couldn’t decide what to get. Going to Manchester in August, already planning to book there.

I visited for my birthday this year and found the food and service absolutely brilliant. We arrived for lunch on a Saturday with a relatively large table and the staff were so accommodating and patient. They were also particularly lovely with my 4 year old nephew and were happy to provide plates and a knife to cut into my birthday cake. Food and drinks were perfect and didn't take too long to arrive at all. Would definitely recommend.

Hope St Moose Coffee is always great. Like the other Moose Coffee locations, the food and drinks are great (and you never leave hungry!!) But for me the Hope St atmosphere and staff are fantastic. Just wish we lived closer so we could go more frequently!!

I had a reuben sandwich which disappointed me. The meat was very tough and the bread too dry. The salad wasn't bad.

Beautiful building on Hope Street, excellent service, food and atmosphere. Double check your alternative milk order though!! Apart from that hiccup that was duly recompensed we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The scrambled egg and salmon is still being talked about he that it was the best!

Amazing food, gives of an American coffee shop vibe with a great selection of American and European breakfast items. The Belgian waffles were some of the best I've had in England, and I cannot wait to return. Venue was clean and the staff were very polite.

Been here before and not entirely sure why I returned - was hoping last time had been a blip when I was served the entirely wrong dish and had to ask two servers before it was corrected after the first server told me it was what I ordered (fail to see how a Mexican dish could be anything remotely close to a French toast but there we go). This time I ordered, only for the server to come back 5 minutes later to tell me they didn’t have that dish, proceeded to go through all the menu items they didn’t have, including those which contained meat, despite the first time having ordered a vegan dish and when asked if I had any allergies saying no but I am vegan. Drinks took forever; never got the tap water asked for. Atmosphere further ruined by the very loud table next to us (only two people but their conversation could be heard throughout the restaurant). Server had the cheek to watch the card machine like a hawk as we paid, and gave a dirty look when we didn’t add a tip - as far as I’m concerned I only tip when I receive good service.

When we booked they said they couldn’t accommodate a large party of 11, however we booked 3 separate tables only to find when we got there there were several rows of tables where they could have done this , service good food good but menu confusing 🥹🥹

My favourite moose, food was on point and the service was lovely. Ambience at this moose coffee is perfect, spacious, and feels very relaxed. I had the Mano picante with the chorizo, absolutely delicious!

American approved! I went here for Thanksgiving since it’s American and Canadian and it was amazing. Atmosphere is so cozy and decor looks great. Food was so lovely and both me and my fiancé loved it. The servers were all very kind to us and since it was quiet when we went they even chatted a bit with us. Coffee is also great! Lovely little place!

Top tier breakfast gaff. I had the pancakes with Nutella and peanut butter……wow! Not usually a sweet breakfast guy but this was class. Great service from the girls as well! Tilly, Cheryl and Abby were great. Proper good atmosphere. Will deffo be back!

The breakfast pancakes are absolutely delicious. Paired with the signature hazelnut latte would definitely make your morning happy. The portion size is good and filling. I have also had the toasted sourdough with mashed avocado and dressing. Absolutely delicious. The portion size is very very good.

Egg Benedict was dry with stingy amount of Hollandaise (barely covered the egg). The brisket was so dry and stringy I nearly choked! Very disappointing as Moose Cafe in Manchester had always been amazing. I think the kitchen staff need more training, it's not the same level of care as other locations I have been to. Table next to me sent her sourdough with avocado back as it was freezing! The service was lovely however and the flat white was the best I had.

Always heard great things about the place and finally got to go for lunch. Food and staff great, had one of the various eggs Benedict options. Well worth it.

The positives; great atmosphere & aesthetics and the portion size of my pancakes (Double Dutch) was perfect. The vanilla latte with oat milk was spot on and I also like the ‘merch’ too (I bought a poster for my son which he loves) The Negatives; It took 35 mins from ordering for the food to be delivered. The tables surrounding us were all wobbly and small, and the fruit portion on my wife’s brioche toast was pitiful (especially for the price) the bacon bits and sausage in my pancakes were very small and finely cut too.

Went here for coffee. We all ordered coffee or hot chocolate and they all arrived luke warm. Service was very good but they need to get a grip in the kitchen!

Lovely little find for breakfast while staying in Liverpool. Staff were very polite and attentive. Unfortunately my muffin with my eggs Benedict was stale and tough to cut through and the hash brown were overpowered with flavourings. But they had oat milk which is always a plus!

Booked in advance, restaurant was busy, room was very dark. Staff was friendly. Asked if i could have my food without the vegetables which the waiter said was fine, turned up with vegetables but I really couldn't be bothered complaining (I know I should) but had waited a long time for the food and by this point just wanted to get out of there as was late.. I have been to Moose coffee a number of times in the different locations and its got progressively worse. Shame

Very good, as usual and as expected.

Staff were very friendly, which straight away gave me a good impression of the cafe. It felt pretty authentic, since there were quite a few items on the menu in which you wouldn’t find in many other places in the UK. There was a very large menu, with so much to choose from. I went with the waffle stack with bacon, but when it came it was pancakes instead. However this is only a minor mistake since they are both very similar. The food was delicious and came within reasonable timing. I would absolutely love to come here again since this was the perfect place for me to have breakfast.

Excellent food which arrived quickly as usual and highly recommended, but a 15 min wait for my second coffee and bill was unacceptable, not the usual efficient service from the staff who are always friendly and approachable.

A place that does not disappoint when it comes to breakfast. Where eggs benedict taste very good. They have all kinds of breakfasts, both for people with sweet or salty palates. It is a very busy place, I recommend booking in advance. The service is not so personal due to the fact that they serve many people at the same time and as I have already mentioned it is a place that really fills up with people. Thank you for the wonderful food.

They have the Most delicious pancake ever!

We love the breakfasts at Moose Coffee. This one in Liverpool is near the Cathedrals. We booked online to make sure we got a table. We ordered flat whites while we perused the menu. We eventually decided on the triple eggs Benedict and a smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Everything was thoroughly delicious and service excellent.

A bizarre Canadian coffee shop that is AMAZING!! Food is so so good. Staff are really helpful and the shabby chic with weird moose overtones is brilliant.

Always great food and service here, friendly staff. Staff gave complimentary birthday pancakes for my husband with happy birthday written to them. Very grateful. It's a noisy place but that's because it's only small, it adds to the atmosphere.

My wife tells me this is the best place for American breakfast in Liverpool , had many meals here, never disappoints, update, had a late lunch here 31/08/2023 almost had the place to ourselves, staff brilliant as always, highly recommend,

Avoid if you’re used to a good standard in breakfast/brunch. Nice place in Hope Street and staff were good also, although there was some running around when I arrived. Food came alarmingly quick and the eggs Benedict were pretty terrible. Not sure if it’s my fault for ordering the Serrano ham which was practically inedible and very difficult to cut through. Also the bagel felt a little lazy and quite stiff too. Coffee is barely worth mentioning. Flat whites are not meant to be that big or taste that burnt, especially in a place with reviews as good as this. Expensive, disappointing, won’t be returning…

Was so looking forward to my breakfast after seeing all the great reviews. Left really disappointed though. Mine was nearly cold and the poached eggs where hard boiled with no runny yolk, hardly any feta and missing a couple of things it should have had that where advertised on the menu. Partners meal was bland and he was grateful he asked for sauce to go with it. He asked to swap his fried egg for scrambled, it’s a £3 surcharge to do that which I think is high! Overall I’d say underwhelming, under seasoned and over priced. The service was great though and the staff where attentive and it’s lovely in there. Not sure if we where just unlucky with our visit. Would probably give it another chance in the future. Im only leaving the review purely for feedback as I didn’t get change to tell the girls in there

During a recent visit to Liverpool we dined twice at Moose Coffee Hope St. On both occasions we were welcomed and served with a smile(s). Moose Coffee provides excellent food and drink at a value-for-money price in clean surroundings. It is very noticeable how quickly the staff clean and reset tables as soon as customers leave. During our visits we were served by Owen, Abi and Georgia. Each of them were very friendly, able to chat and take our orders in good time; they constantly checked that our food and drinks were ok. It's always a pleasure to eat in Moose Coffee and we will do so again next time we are in Liverpool. You should do so too.

Amazing brunch as always. We usually go to the Dale Street Moose but this time we were one Hope Street. Food was great and the lads even washed it down with so of the Moose Beer. We will of course be back.

As soon as I stepped into the venue, waitress glares at me “how many people?” In a quasi aggressive tone. I decided to leave as I didn’t think the service was going to be pleasurable. Popped into 92* across the road and they could not be nicer. Bizarre.

Moose Coffee is one of the few restaurants that nail the North American dinner experience

We love moose, think we have visited everyone in Liverpool at some point. Food is consistent with a huge menu choice too. Recommend booking in advance were you can as it does get really busy.

Absolutely gobsmacked today,I asked for a sausage on toast to take away as I was going into hospital to give to my brother who is in the royal liverpool hospital, I was told the sausage would come in one box and the toast in another, I asked could you please put together as a sandwich and was told the kitchen staff were too busy but when I was passed it I could put it together before leaving the cafe I'm astonished and find it hard to believe a chef would be too busy to put a sausage on a piece of toast I very seldom leave reviews but really had to send this so the owners know what customers are being told as I am a business owner myself and also this is a waste of packaging Unfortunately I cannot comment on the food as I left disgusted

Absolutely loved it! I had the pancakes with granola, peanut butter, Nutella, and orange pieces on top. It tasted incredible and the portion was very very generous. I can't wait to go back again.

My first visit, food and service excellent. The Restaurant wasn't too busy but atmosphere was very nice. I'll be back in the future.
