Moose Coffee in Liverpool

Came here because of the reviews and I'm pleased to say, it didn't let us down. Reminded me of being back in Canada with the decor, service and food. Service was great and nothing too much trouble. Most of all the breakfasts and pancakes were excellent, and can't wait to come back!

Stopped off at Moose on Hope Street for brunch. Great selection on the menu and tasty food, good portion size. Nice atmosphere and waitress, Erin, was very polite. Word to the wise... Make sure to book especially on weekends otherwise you may be turned away.

Love the food here, and the service was good. Only bad thing was the broken toilet seat - in a cubicle that is apparently checked regularly. A square seat on a round toilet is not the best fit.

I always enjoy the excellent food and atmosphere at Moose. And the service by Joe was brilliant. He is always very friendly and helpful but also patient when I cannot decide what I want to eat.

While it took longer than usual to be served all staff members were hard at work and no o e was slacking. Our server was so polite and even compt one of our meals as my little girl didnt like it. To be clear it was a matter of tast on her part nothing wrong overall with the meal.

Support local 💚 Lovely staff, good atmosphere and takeaway drinks prepared really quickly. While we didn't eat today, we definitely want to because the menu looks wicked!

Came for brunch before the Christmas concert at the Liverpool Philarmonic Hall. The food was excellent - I had the Green Line which I would certainly recommend. Friendly service, interesting decor, and reasonably priced for the quality of the food and size of the portions. Will be back next time we're in the area.

What an amazing place! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Absolutely outstanding! The food was delicious, hot & excellent quality, the venue clean & beautifully decorated. The staff were super friendly & efficient. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Food was brilliant but was made to feel uncomfortable with having a nut allergy. This was made clear when making the booking months in advance. When there we could hear the chefs discussing it across the restraunt as the kitchen came to a stand still. We were then approached by the waitress to be asked do you have an airborne allergy or just in food? Ive never had this anywhere else maybe some more training in allergies? Food was amazing though we will say that it was just a bit uncomfortable at the start.

Este lugar es el paraíso de los huevos. Si bien me gusta un huevo ocasional hoy no me apetecía uno así que opté por un sándwich de club. Estaba sabroso y bien preparado aunque el pan estaba muy espeso. Decoración de ensalada de acompañamiento y ensalada de patatas era agradable también. Lamentablemente no había mucha elección de sándwiches y aunque aprecio totalmente este lugar predominantemente es el desayuno y la comida del brunch me hubiera gustado haber visto un mejor menú de estilo almuerzo. Dado que nuestra reserva fue a las 2 pm creo que es mucho más allá del desayuno / hora del almuerzo. Bebidas calientes caras y se sentó en una corriente de aire todo el tiempo, así que tenía frío cuando me fui y sumado a eso el asiento del inodoro ni siquiera está fijado al inodoro me quedé en general un poco decepcionado.

love it I love every visit to moose coffee I go out of my way to find one when in Liverpool or Manchester, the food is great, it will fill you for hours the coffee is great and the staff are great, I can see why booking is essential

Fun, friendly staff, great vibe and wonderfully homemade food. Absolutely love this place. The chorizo eggs are the bomb and the baked goods are better than my grandmother's. (Sorry, Grandma.) Wish there was a Moose Coffee in the States!!!

Liverpool, where do you start? A city rich full of history. A whopping seventy five percentage of the population are of Irish descent. Since being the European city of culture in 2008, it’s really come of age. So well catered for tourists yet still holding onto its heritage. Outside of London it has the most listed buildings in the U.K. It’s not all Ferry Across The Mersey or The Cavern Quarter. After three days here and multiple visits since 1989, I wanted something a little different. On the very artsy area of Hope Street, I found just that. A coffee house, American themed without the Stars and Stripes. Mustard coloured leather chesterfields with dark wooden cladding interior. Tables ideally placed so as not to be too intrusive to other diners. The ambiance was perfect, natural light, swing music played at a comfortable volume and professional staff that were courteous, attentive and engaging. The wonderful Tegan was my server and her colleagues also checked in on me if she was busy. I ordered the Grande Bouche and a mocha. The French Toast ( sweet brioche bread griddled in a homemade egg & vanilla batter ) was served with four strips of streaky bacon and Canadian maple syrup. It was absolutely delicious and after twenty minutes I ordered an Americano coffee. I was enjoying the ambiance so much, I didn’t want to leave. So after another 15 minutes, I ordered some other side dishes. I chose some streaky bacon, chipolata sausages, poached egg and homemade hash potatoes. It arrived on three small dishes and was faultless. The poached eggs were magnificent and the yolk a perfect dark yellow. Potatoes were crispy and soft, whilst the bacon was crispy and the sausages cooked through. You weren’t rushed or made to feel you had outstayed your welcome. Couples, friends and solo diners were eating there. My only gripe was that a small dog was in the restaurant not too far away from me. That was fine initially until two more diners joined them. They were oblivious to their social awareness and the table got rowdy, spoiling the chilled vibe. It was at that point, I asked for my bill and politely left.

Went with a freind with Conplex allergy syndrome and our server Claire was super attentive, considerate and freindly. The food was amazing as always and the atmosphere is chilled out and sophisticated. My favourite place to eat on bold street hands down.

We ate at Moose on Hope Street for three mornings in a row on our trip to Liverpool. The food is absolutely amazing and the best American / Canadian type dining I have ever had in the UK. Special mention for the Bronx Brunch. My wife had the granola twice and would be so happy if she could by this online!

We went yesterday to celebrate my partner's birthday. We were a few minutes late for our booking due to traffic but they were able to accommodate when we arrived. This is when we were served by the amazing Claire. She started wishing my partner a happy birthday and went on to take our order. We have always been impressed with the food at Moose Coffee so we were very quick in choosing our food and drinks. One treat I always love at Moose Coffee is there coffee specials which on this day was a white mocha which I loved and would recommend. When food was served Claire and Nikki (chef) made my partner a happy birthday pancake plate which made my partner's day as it looked amazing and was nothing short of pure kindness in doing it off their own backs. The food was amazing and the service was incredible. Claire and Nikki I hope you see this review as you truly made my partner's birthday and I can not thank you enough. Highly highly recommend this venue.❤️ If I could I would give 10/5 stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have been here more times then I can count every special occasion we return and have the best experience possible!! What made this time even better is the fact our lovely server Claire really gave her 100% on giving us an attentive experience, not only that but she used her knowledge of Spanish to help my partner feel the most comfortable he has on his trip to England! This place is a must go to if you’re in Liverpool, always always worth the price!! Thank you Moose Coffee staff, especially Claire!

The best place for breakfast in town bar none. My pre match ritual is to come here. A wide variety of breakfasts, sweet or savoury, and not just Canadian style. Lots of sides to mix and match. Light and healthy options are sound also. My favourite is the Mano Picante to give you a little kick start in the morning - eggs with a latin twist. Any dish I've ordered here or the Moose on Dale Street has been high quality. Very professional staff, there has never been one hitch. I will always keep returning here when in town.

Amazing food! Really tasty benedict and hash browns, staff were so friendly, espeically a man with blonde hair who was very busy as he was on the floor by himself but served us as soon as we asked!

Came for breakfast with my mum today. I was served by Laura who was wonderful and accommodating! The breakfast was beautiful. I had the new lula bacon and it was fantastic, only thing was my poached eggs were slightly overcooked but I prefer them runny. The one thing I would say is when booking I wouldn’t want to book near the door again, it was a little cold! Over all wonderful and is come back again

Pequeña espera para una mesa, pero comprensible ya que estaba ocupado. El personal no fue muy amable al mostrarnos a nuestra mesa. Una vez que nos sentamos fuimos completamente ignorados, tomando muchas otras órdenes a nuestro alrededor y evitando el contacto visual cuando intentamos hacerlo. Hemos comido aquí antes y ha sido genial. El personal de hoy no era la vibra.

El ambiente era perfecto, la luz natural, la música swing tocada en un volumen cómodo y el personal profesional que era cortés, atento y atractivo. La maravillosa Tegan era mi servidor y sus colegas también se registraron en mí si estaba ocupada. Pedí la Grande Bouche y una moca. El French Toast (pan dulce de brioche a la plancha en una masa casera de huevo y vainilla ) se sirvió con cuatro tiras de tocino rayado y jarabe de arce canadiense. Estaba absolutamente delicioso y después de veinte minutos pedí un café Americano. Estaba disfrutando tanto del ambiente que no quería irme. Así que después de otros 15 minutos, pedí algunas otras guarniciones. Elegí tocino rayado, salchichas chipolata, huevo escalfado y patatas caseras. Llegó en tres platos pequeños y fue perfecto. Los huevos escalfados eran magníficos y la yema de un amarillo oscuro perfecto. Las patatas estaban crujientes y suaves, mientras que el tocino estaba crujiente y las salchichas se cocinaron. No te apresuraste ni te hiciste sentir que habías quedado fuera de tu bienvenida. Parejas, amigos y comensales solos estaban comiendo allí. Mi única queja fue que un perro pequeño estaba en el restaurante no muy lejos de mí. Inicialmente estuvo bien hasta que dos comensales más se les unieron. Very clean atmospheric place, quiet piano music in the background made for a very peaceful breakfast. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I had the Lula avo toast and it was probably some of the best I've ever had. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend and I look forward to coming back in the future.

Had my pre-graduation breakfast here, a good decision because it filled me up for the whole day. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it for the massive pancakes and generous toppings, perfect for a treat or special occasion. All tasted amazing. Recommend the apple and salted caramel pancakes. Nice atmosphere and very warm and welcoming staff.
