Moose Coffee in Liverpool

Nice atmosphere, excellent customer service by Alice and great - and big pottion - breakfast. Er had no reservations but managed to get a table early Saturday morning.

Walked past while on our way to another café. It looked like a cool place, so we had a look at the menu on the outside and it looked good, we went in. There is something for everyone here, in all sorts of combinations. (We are vegtarians) Great place, great staff, great food, oh and cool merch.

I loved this place, the pancakes were so fluffy and delicious, the juice was fresh and the place had a lovely vibe and the staff were nice to me and my son, and we all enjoyed being there as the place was very nice

Just so overpriced and the food was basic . We were sat right next to the kitchen and I didn't hear any cooking going on . You could tell by the food , I'd say the microwave gets a lot of use. If you go here in all honesty you are paying £12-15 pounds for a below average bagle . To be fair the staff were lovely and there attention to detail was quite good , the setting is very nice but I as everybody else is was there for the food and it's bad and worse than that it's expensive and bad. This is criminal in my eyes .

over rated .. fancy menu but not brill when it arrived had browns like warm and eggs over done .. staff were nice and the decor is edgy but toilet badly needed doing up but had been cleaned just didn’t look it shame

My husband and I happened upon this place and we were very happy we did. The waffle was one of the best I’ve had in my life. I got their version of the avocado toast, and my husband got their version of chiliquiles, and both were so delicious. It was big portions so we were more than filled up. My husband also got a cappuccino and this was delicious too. We would highly recommend. It was crowded so we had to sit at an outdoor table. Just shows how in demand it is. The menu was extensive, so it was hard to choose! We were very happy with our experience and we highly recommend it!

Love Moose. First I had tried in Manchester then wherever I go, tried my best to go Moose for breakfast. Staff was nice even first she was so rude and put my mood off but later she arranged all the things nicely and i forgot what happened earlier. I like the strong coffee and the taste of their delicious food. They have variety of veggie breakfast. Atmosphere was very cool. Everyone was in happy mood. Enjoy my time there as well as breakfast. They were very busy most of time so better to book table before you appear. Thanks to all the staff for making us happy.

Hmm, very expensive for what it is. Nearly £15.00 for 3 small American style pancakes drizzled with syrup and a coffee! Also I dislike the unisex toilet which wasn't the cleanest really with a leaking u bend.

Wow first time and we will definitely be returning. I must say the only thing I struggled with was the wide variety of foods there was to choose from. I ended up getting the eggs Benedict and I must admit, (I had eyes bigger than my belly…) I ordered the trio as I couldn’t decide what one to choose and I did joke with the waiter, Callum saying, “That’s me not eating for the rest of the day..” At the time, I thought this was a joke, I had half a sandwich later that evening and couldn’t even finish it due to feeling full! 1010, great atmosphere, fantastic food! As for Callum, our server, faultless, so accommodating!

Had a great time and the food was immense. Great service from the wonderful staff and a really chilled atmosphere.

Best combo for me in this coffee shop is their pancake with maple syrup and coffee.

This is a great spot for brunch. Food was really tasty and served quickly. Only downside was that we were told to leave and come in 30 minutes even though there were empty tables inside and outside. Other than that, everything was great!

Great food and great atmosphere - very busy so we were glad we booked. Our server, Matt, was very attentive and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable.

If they’re fully booked indoor then your only option is to sit outside which might be too cold during Winter. Food portion was generous but taste was 4/5. Had cappuccino and latte, tasted better elsewhere. But price was reasonably cheap

Well having lived in Chicago for 5 years, I do miss the breakfast experience and the whole america breakfast..... some places claim to provide that but this place delivers! I had the bronx - absolutely amazing.... my partner had the eggs Benedict with pancakes, bacon and maple syrup - she said it was the best breakfast and was unsure that they would work together BUT they just do! Staff were very friendly and when we said we would be back they did say if its a weekend make sure you book because the queues are insane! Thank goodness this is not next door otherwise I'd be a regular and probably double the size I'm now! Highly recommended!

The worst thing about this place is the choice. There are so many things you want to try, you’re left pining for what you didn’t order! Everything is soooo good and reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food you get. Great atmosphere. We’ve been to both Hope st and Dale st and we’ll be back as there’s still 5 things I have to try. Great drink choice, great service. Love it.

Breakfast: great coffee. Potato hash likewise but the veggie New England and New Jersey Mooses were underwhelming in flavour. Good service.

The severs were lovely however the food kept coming out to the wrong table and they seemed quite confused about what was happening

I had the Eggs Benedict with potato and pulled pork. Its the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Good range of coffee to choose from too. Highly recommend.

Great food, we loved the pancakes and the french toast looked amazing! The staff were really friendly. I'd suggest trying to book as we were sat inside and walk ins appeared to be offered seating outside.

Fab visit as always.. they even brought over complimentary birthday pancakes.. such a nice touch .. my wife highly recommends the vegan French toast

It was very busy when we went glad I booked a table had to wait five minutes but worth the wait staff very friendly although it’s a small place it was comfortable to sit and relax and enjoy your food which was delicious

Very tiny. Even if you book a table, it feels like a sardine can. I ordered food from them. They never sent one of the mains. Very expensive. I only had a bad experience with them. Never again

Absolutely amazing service. The food was equally as delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Having an allergy can sometimes make eating out difficult but the girls were fully prepared with a folder clearing stating what was in each meal. We’ll definitely be back.

We popped in on the off chance as we hadn’t booked and they managed to squeeze us in. We were very happy too…amazing latte and the food was superb. Will definitely be back again. Pancakes are to die for too as was the avocado on toast. 10/10

I always book a table here when we come over to Liverpool to shop, now they do a vegan grande bouche which is fantastic

The food was really "gimickey" and just wasn't good to taste. I had the double Dutch and the flavour profiles did not compliment each other. Not going back even if you paid me.

Absolute fantastic food here as always, had the pancakes with Apple and salted Caramel sauce wow it was gorgeous also had the side of Hash that was lovely too, service was great friendly and very welcoming, been a few times to Moose coffee never disappoints and definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

Almost without fail we have breakfast at Moose when visiting the city, and as always it did not disappoint. A vast range of delicious breakfasts to choose from (or brunch) always with a nice twist - be it pancakes, eggs etc, and a great range of drinks for all the family. Service as always is with a smile and speedy - its an absolutely must to book in advance though so do not expect to just turn up and get in

Nice place, nice people. Good service. Tasty pancakes. Partner wanted the Reuben bagel, however had to settle for it on sourdough due to no bagels left. but was still tasty. One downside was someone somewhere (staff member in kitchen?) playing some kind of emo music on their phone loudly which killed the atmosphere of the tunes played in the restaurant. Also, some caution to emptying/loading dishwasher with cutlery? But otherwise enjoyable and would re-visit. Nice coffee and food.

Such a lovely place with really great staff. Our food order ticket got lost between the floor and the kitchen and when we questioned where out food was after a long wait our server gave us two free coffees whilst they made our order up ASAP and then knocked £5 off our bill. The place was super busy and we were understanding and greatful

We went to this cafe in Liverpool dale street and just want to say how poor it was. We went for my wife’s birthday, and there were numerous errors with the order / food. It said it came with a bagel (on the menu) and it was brought on bread, my wife specifically asked for a plain meal with nothing on and there was chives on it. And lastly we asked for a side of sausages that simply never arrived. We can understand one error, but 3 is too many when it’s not a complex order, it meant I ate my breakfast alone before my wife’s even arrived as it would of been cold, as my wife sat needed to be reordered. And who knows what happened to the sausages… Expected a discount or something as a token apology but nothing arrived… just wanted to feedback a poor experience and we specially travelled to your cafe as not local but won’t be doing so again…

After seeing some great reviews and wanted some authentic American pancakes we headed to the Moose Caffe on a Monday morning. We did not make a reservation however when we got there we were left outside standing in the rain. The restaurant is extremely small. Without a reservation we were quickly shooed away. Because we intended to dine here we made a booking for the next day. We arrived 10 minutes early but was made to wait outside in the rain until the table was ready. We were put onto a table of 2 in the middle of the small room which made us feel not able to relax. The food however was great and very filling. The coffee was one of the nicest I’ve ever had. However it’s the location and service that let it down.

We went for a Christmas brunch and had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and welcoming, order was taken promptly and the food was excellent. Really enjoyed our meal and time at Moose Coffee. Will definitely be back there again soon.

Stopped in for a late lunch and glad we had booked as it was busy. Interesting variety on the menu with (unusually) a good selection for vegan / vegetarian. We had a mix of vegan High Line, Rueben & Mighty Moose and all were excellent. The High Line was probably our favourite ! Good drink selection with nice coffee. Would we go back - yes, absolutely. Would we recommend - yes.

Oh my goodness...the portions are huge and everything we had was delicious!! My pumpkin spice latte and french toast were divine!

My daughter and I had a delicious brunch here last week. The food was scrumptious, the service brilliant and the outside seating a joy, even at this time of the year.

Yet again another great lunch at Moose! Went a little bit later this time, seated at 1pm, and by the time we were finishing up, it had emptied out a bit, so went nice and quiet. Staff are always friendly, and the new addition of the kids menu is a great idea. So, 2 pancakes w/syrup (and bacon on the side for the little one), a Bronx Brunch for me (classic) and Pancakes Benedict later, we left feeling very satisfied and ready to face the rest of the day. Our favourite place to eat!

Another delicious, hearty brunch at Moose. The hash is so tasty and the french toast was bloody massive. It is really difficult to choose just one dish there are so many options on the menu. The staff are lovely, really friendly and helpful. Best place for brekkie in Liverpool.

The food is divine, some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever had! Some of the staff could’ve been a bit nicer but they weren’t the worst bunch of people ever. Amazing location, very clean inside and outside, nice tables, etc. The decor inside is beautiful. Would definitely go again!
