Moose Coffee in Liverpool

Second visit here this year, was quite disappointed this time, the food was dry and a bit tasteless. I can’t eat eggs and they refused to substitute them with tomato’s, said I’d need to pay extra. Surely a tomato isn’t more expensive than an egg… Wouldn’t return, a shame as our first visit a few months ago was so much better.

Thought we would try something for breakfast. Very busy but we managed to get a window seat. Food was very tasty.We have the Bronx brunch and the Grand Bouche

The food is delicious every single time. Huge portions and quickly made, the service is always attentive, warm and efficient. Our server today was Emilia, who was absoulutely lovely! Top brunch spot for us!

¡Ni idea de cómo no hemos estado aquí antes porque estamos en Liverpool desde Escocia mucho pero definitivamente volveremos! Un montón de opciones de desayuno 😋 no podía tomar una decisión. Asentado en huevos Benedict. Grandes porciones. Buenas tazas de café. Ok no es el desayuno más barato, pero un buen regalo de vez en cuando. Debo probar las tortitas la próxima vez. Mira delicioso. Amie nuestro servidor era encantador también 😊

Absolutely love Moose. The staff and the food are fabulous. We come here often and are never disappointed. As always we got the Bronx Brunch and Caboose Moose and had half each. Such a good combo meal. Amy was the best, can't do anything more for you. Will be back shortly.

An excellent and abundant breakfast, delicious and with quality ingredients. Kath attended to us, she was very kind and patient with our indecision and confusion with the language.

Incredible experience! Even for a Sunday morning, the place was packed and for good reason. Had the Grand Bouche or French Toast, and it’s massive but soooo good! Worth booking in advance if you can, but we only waited 15-20 mins for a table. Sophie was very attentive and super friendly despite how busy things were around us. Kuba the chef deserved special mention for presentation and great flavours, especially in the Chicken and Waffles! Best spot in Liverpool!

No surprise here why they are so popular. Get there early (opens at 8 am) to secure your spot. Great food, Benedict’s are very flavorful ( we had the lula Puebla) and kids had the pancakes. DELICIOUS. Great portion size at very reasonable price. Chelsea, our waitress was fab.

Great place for American style breakfast and brunch. All the food was delicious. Advise to book in advance. Had to wait outside until table was ready even though we booked in advance but were given complimentary pancakes for the inconvenience. Will definitely go again 👍

On visiting the moose in dale street, Liverpool, for a special birthday we were very pleased to be served by Hannah MC, who was not only very pleasant, but helped with allergies. The food was amazing and cooked by kuba. Thankyou all for this experience.

Llamado a un café el martes 22 de octubre. Había intentado entrar a desayunar pero ya estaba lleno y una cola esperando para entrar así que tuve que esperar hasta más tarde. Pedimos su café de arce que se describió en el menú como tener chispas de arce, pero nuestro vino sin. Cuando preguntamos la respuesta fue "oh perdón... olvidé mencionar que nos hemos quedado sin". Vinimos a pagar la cuenta (total £ 8 ) y le entregamos un £ 10 . La camarera entonces preguntó si nos gustaría dar el cambio de £ 2 como propina? OK. . Admito por supuesto que habríamos dado propina de todos modos, pero oye, por favor, deja que el cliente instigue la oferta y no pregunte. ¿Parecía un poco fuera de lugar?

I must admit that I’m impressed - what a lovely place with a nice atmosphere and a very service minded staff. We had the Luna Bacon for lunch and it tasted Lovely. See you next time

Service and food was great on a very busy Sunday morning. My partner has coeliac disease (symptomatic) and was able to safely eat gluten free here without becoming ill. My suggestion for improvement would be to consider expanding the range of gluten free options to include pancakes, as this is where the menu falls down a bit.

Excellent food and service as always! All of the staff were very welcoming, our waitress Louise was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection by chef Kuba. Keep up the good work, we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Had family over to stay from York and Sweden so booked a table for 10 of us for breakfast. It was delicious! Everyone really enjoyed their selection and it's still being talked about a week later. I can not fault the staff they were really cheerful and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Moose we will be back

Tried their new england (spinach egg Benedict) and it was amazing! Service was also fast and super friendly as I was served by Sophie. She kept checking on me and very kind to make sure all was ok. Overall very good experience! Location is also super central, a good fit for workers or tourists who stroll around the city. It might be a little packed during 9-11am but it worth the wait.

Dark light is a little shameful for the clear sunny Saturday morning.😬

We were served by Kat and she was very friendly and excellent. The food was the best we had all weekend. Kuba the chef really outdone himself, would 100% recommend and will visit again.

We were really looking forward to visiting, and were very disappointed. Breakfast came out and toast was burnt, we asked politely for some fresh and heard them discussing how awkward we were in the kitchen. Bacon was tasteless, potato's were nice and sausage patties. Soy milk latte went lumpy. Vegan butter came out with crumbs in from buttering something else (I'm gluten free) Considering it cost us £35 in all for a breakfast for 2, very disappointed. Definitely won't very returning.

Visited with a friend as a treat. What a treat it was. The menu is simply divine! Huge with so much choice. Friend is Coeliac and I mentioned it on the booking. What a refreshing change to be given the GF menu without even having to ask. Her menu choice was also fabulous. Cannot wait to return. Staff very friendly. Only criticism would be the single toilet. Kathleen was our server and very attentive. Food was out of this world and we loved the atmosphere . We had the Nova Scotia bagel and the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Outstanding.

Sophie was EXCELLENT, really helpful and patient, provided everything we needed and checked in without being overbearing. Great range of veggie and vegan options. The food was stunning (a couple of hard eggs however but certainly didn’t ruin it) absolutely coming back.

The food was gorgeous and great presentation but unfortunately we were made to stand outside in the rain for 15mins to wait. Then we felt very rushed to our seats. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday in which I made them aware but no fuss was made.

Chilled out brunch and top food as always! Spoilt for choice with such a big menu full of great breakfast/brunch items! This time we had Pancakes and The Phoenix, these were great portions and so tasty! I always try to come here when back in Liverpool! It was nice to come in the week and not have to queue as the place is so popular on weekends!

Food was really good and service was really fast. Our waitresses Louise and Alice were really attentive and kept checking back on us. They also gave us some free birthday pancakes and sang for my friend.Overall really lovely experience.

Brilliant American brunch diner with a huge menu, huge portions and yes, a huge reputation, judging by the queues outside. Plan your timing carefully and be prepared to wait. It’s worth it. Coffee is sturdy and served in mugs. Brunch platters are substantial and will serve you for most of the day! Really good. We are going again during our three day visit.

Far too many options on the menu - never seen anything like that. Ended up panic ordering and had the hash which was very salty, and not very nice at all. Service was great but that menu really needs simplifying. Maybe it was just what I ordered

We showed up at 9am, and were asked if we had a booking as it was packed (always a good sign). Unfortunately we did not, but that was no problem, a short 10 minute wait passed, and we were given a lovely table down a fairy lit side avenue. We ordered our food off of the extensive menu (lots of options for people with intolerances or allergies as well), and when the food arrived, it looked and tasted amazing! Highly recommend the ‘lula bacon’ and waffles (see pictures below), and we will definitely be returning when visiting Liverpool again!
