Moose Coffee in Liverpool

The 3 starts for the guy called joey he was really nice and he had a smile on his face all the time on the other hand there is a girl she was kinda rude,, and i would like to mention that the spoons and dishes were really dirty and smells bad!

You need an enormous appetite to eat of the main menu. On second visit we ate off the children's menu which was just right.

One of many times frequenting this Moose Coffee branch and once more the meal, and outing as a whole, was amazing. The only possible thing I would have to say in regard to service would be that the two waitresses were chatting a lot behind the bar, which led to us having a long wait for our ordered drinks (even though there were only around 2 other tables in at the time).

Great service and attention from our waitress Emilia. The place was fully booked at the beginning so we sat outside but she saw that a table became free and she asked us if we wanted to move inside since it was a little chilly outside! The decor is lovely and the food is delicious. It was the first time here and we weren't disappointed! Kuba, the chef made a great breakfast.

Top food and service. Due to being busy we sat outside in covered lane way. Turned out to be s sun trap. Great location and fab food.

So the food and coffee is great at moose, I don’t have any complaints regarding that, def get the huevos ranchos or pancakes if you go! But I will say the service is shocking, 5 people working and not one came to take our order, we had to go to the front to ask. All of them talking or on their phones.

Everytime we stay in Liverpool/Manchester or Leeds, we make sure to start our morning at Moose Coffee. Top quality food, service is always spot on and the atmosphere is the right way to start your day! Easiest 10/10 all round

One of my favourite cafes in Liverpool, so different and the food is delicious! And Louise was an excellent server and very passionate in her work, always asking did i require anything else, and how is your food. I Would highly recommend the Moose cafe.

Great service and staff! Myself and my brother were looked after by Amy this morning, and she gave great customer service. She came over a few times to make sure everything was ok. I had the Lula Cerda which was amazing, although I struggled to finish it because there was so much food 😂 My brother had the pancakes with the sausage and bacons bits through it, and he loved it as well! We will definitely be coming back at some point! (We're only over because my bro is doing a Manchester to Liverpool ultra on Friday)

Fantastic food and well priced. Very popular so book a table in advance. I had the Moose Eggs Benedict which was delicious. The atmosphere was good although I personally felt the music was too loud but that's subjective. Highly recommend

Our first visit won't be our last. Delicious tasty food. My granddaughter enjoyed her waffles and hot chocolate. We joined a queue when we arrived fortunately we didnt have to wait long to be shown to our tabke.. Staff said they are always busy..which can only be a good sign. Will call ahead and book for our second visit. Reasonable prices lovely atmosphere. Outdoor seating also.

Birthday lunch for my wife with our youngest daughter. All the food was great and service from Sophie excellent too.

The inside of the cafe was a bit too dark so I didn't expect anything special, but the food was REALLY NICE , more than I expected, staffs were friendly, would love to go back there again.

While stopping in Liverpool, I took the opportunity of a cooked breakfast before a long journey. A local friend suggested Moose Coffee. When i arrived, the sign outside asked you to wait to be seated, but as there were only 2 tables taken, I walked in. I asked the waitress if I could get a table for one, she looked at the other and asked her the same thing.. the second nodded. I was offered any available table. I ordered a black coffee and the one-eyed moose - scrambled eggs with cream on granary with a side of steak bacon rashers. The food arrived but it wasn't what I expected. I know how to cook scrambled eggs with cream, and I've had it in numerous restaurants and hotels. This was an omelette. It was one large piece of swirled egg with zero taste. The bacon was no better with no taste and a rubber texture. The waitress asked if everything was ok. I said no. I explained what I was experiencing , and she said "well at least it was honest," though I don't think she was happy that I was. She asked if I wanted another, and I said no. She went back over to the main bar area where all the other waitresses were and then decided to tell them all as they looked over at me. She came back over, so I asked for the manager. She approached and I asked to take a seat. I explained about the poor quality of food but also the attitude. It one thing to be unhappy with a customer, but at least wait till they've left before gossiping about them. She apologised and took the food away. I finished my coffee and rose to pay. There was no charge. This i disagreed with because i had drunk the coffee. She charged me for this, and I left. With numerous locations in this wonderful city to eat, no restaurant should take the customer for granted. Service is included, which means a welcoming attitude. It's such a shame, neither materialised. UPDATE: The owners have responded telling me that I was wrong and that what I received was scrambled eggs. I disagree.

Coffee and food were good. I liked the brunch variety and the fact you can do half half Benedict dishes, I did prefer the salmon over the brisket half. Very dog friendly. Service was good although the table had no napkins, sugars etc so perhaps they should be bringing them with a coffee so you don't have to ask.

Food was excellent as always. Service was ok and we were so close to the people next to us, it felt like we were all ding together. I booked in advance and a couple who just walked in off the street got a lovely big corner table and we were hemmed in far too close to people on either side.

1. Firstly - no welcome just "cash only" sending people up the road to supermarket to get cash. Cash only - ok for small business, this is a local chain. 2. Booked table for 5 (in advance! And was on time at 8:45am), to be allocated table even too small for 4, unless you don't order much to put on the table. Waitress insisting that was it and not prepared to consider other options like pushing two tables together for two - Yeap table for two was not much smaller as the one for apparently 5. Yeap, one of the two smaller tables were reserved but could have moved them to the table of 5. - I don't care if that is your table for 5, if it does not fit 5 don't allow it on the booking system or put a warning on. Never again. Huge let down compared to Hope Street one.

Hash sausage eggs steak tomato overrated @ Dale St venue, the girl in front of house had a face like a smacked arse and that put the icing on the cake I’m afraid, maybe try pancakes at the other branch in the city

The food would have been 5 stars but the hash/browns/grits had way to much mustard in them which ruined the taste sadly

Don't order the Reuben sandwich. I received less than a tablespoon of brisket inside.

All Moose Coffee's are great! Didn't even need a reservation on a Friday morning!

Busy and full breakfast spot Special menu with North American breakfast menu Delicious blueberry pancakes and French toast. Service a bit messy, but friendly.

Great food and generous portions. Mocha tasted like hot chocolate with no coffee. The table that we were placed was in a tight corner at the top of the stairs with no atmosphere but I could see people downstairs enjoying the atmosphere and decor. I'm sure it's lovely. Overall, I would go again but avoid the table literally at the top of the stairs.

We are in the mood for pancakes today. So a stack of 3 fluffy panckakes drenched in endless jugs of maple syrup - if you want with Apple and cinnamon topping. The decaf mugs of latte are hot and welcoming. Staff super friendly and nothing is a problem. IF you want more syrup, just ask, it's free. Amazing and fresh. Well done Moose
