Kassap Meat House in Liverpool

Amazing spicy lamb steak had by myself, and the missus had steak Diane, both cooked to perfection... the service from Asli was impeccable too! Followed by homemade lemon cheesecake to die for. Could not fault this visit, will be coming back when in Liverpool!

Booked this restaurant, which was well researched for my son’s 18th birthday, reserved a table 3 weeks ago and advised it was my son’s 18th. The person who took my booking stated that they would recognise this occasion. Obviously I was delighted that this would happen and eagerly awaited a gesture of some kind, however after spending two hours in the establishment, nothing was forthcoming. Nice place, good food and service but quite disappointed that what I was told would happen, didn’t.

An amazing place for your meat fix! The kebab was really tasty cooked well and worth it. The stake was more than what I expected cooked for my liking. The staff as welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was really nice too. Highly recommend

Me and my partner booked a table to celebrate our 5-year anniversary. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely host who promptly seated us at a lovely table. My partner and I both really enjoyed our meal, we ordered the tomahawk to share. We finished off with dessert, sharing a hot chocolate cake and it was lovely! The staff were amazing and even brought out a free cake with candles to celebrate our anniversary! The star of the show was the cocktails… I had the cosmopolitan & biscoff espresso martini - they were to die for! 10/10 experience, would highly recommend!

Went there today, walki in (don’t book) We both had the Sirloin steak, both cooked perfectly medium rare and a well done, Dessert was also great, service was spot on. We will definitely go back.

Starter: Hummus Really nice and fresh, with the bread, I had a second round. Main: Side salad, Sirloin steak (medium Rare) 350g steak, Fries on the side, Pepper corn sauce. Steak was delicious 😋 I had to work my way around the meat, cooked to perfection. Dessert: Baklava and Ice cream Very very nice, didn't take a pic ,presentation was great. Wine pairing: 250ml Pinot Noir It's not about the price it's a treat. P.s Highly recommend the sharing platter in the main menu. I will definitely be back!

Lovely place. Went for our sons 21st birthday, and the food was absolutely fantastic. They were a bit long bringing our main courses, but they were really busy,but they couldn't apologise enough. They gave us free desserts by way of an apology but honestly they didn't have to. Staff were really lovely and attentive and I'd definitely come back here again, without a doubt.

We were here for dinner before a show as my daughter / partner had been here before and previously enjoyed it. Welcome, seating and taking of orders was great, but there is certainly a variance of staff experience and it showed. Our drinks order came in sections - beer, wine and cocktails over a 5 minute period, not the best. The food chosen by the group all looked good, I had the Octopus Steak with fries, which all in all was very good. However, the Octopus was diced and not quite what I was expecting, but the onion, chilis' and sauce were very tasty, the menu said the meat was filet - not sure it was, as it was very akin to Flat Iron / Feather Steak in both texture and look (I also did not spot or taste any Caviar. However and all of the above said, I enjoyed the meal, surroundings, staff, ambience and will look to return soon.

Visited today and ate for the 3rd time. I've never written a review before - but thoughtbi should pay my respects to the staff and compose one. The food is excellent. Fresh. Hot and served at a nice pace. My son had a kids meal and we were impressed with the quality and the fact it came with our starters. The drinks are well presented and served nicely. The toilets are impeccably clean and fresh. The atmosphere is perfect. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very welcoming. 10/10

Among what we ordered was the porterhouse steak. They served 2 t-bones instead of a porterhouse. I told them a porterhouse was not 2 t-bones. They told me it was because it's bigger then showed me other sharing steaks for some reason. That's just odd. The rest of the dinner was nice outside of that.

Enjoyed a really lovely meal, in pleasant surroundings with attentive serving staff. I had the ribeye on the bone with a side of sweet potato fries and some pepper sauce, all of which was excellent. My steak was perfectly medium-rare as requested and well seasoned, the fries were crispy and tasty. The pepper sauce was delicious and creamy. The hot chocolate cake dessert was also pretty awesome. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

We visited Liverpool for a Beatles tour for my husband's birthday. For his birthday dinner I wanted to find a steak restaurant that had a broad menu as my husband loves steak and I am a vegetarian. Kassap Meat House came up in my search and I'm so glad we found it! The atmosphere is lovely, the service was friendly and we both loved our meals. The meat was excellent and I had an absolutely delicious eggplant entree. Plus they provided a special birthday dessert. Overall a wonderful evening, I highly recommend the restaurant. If we were local we would be returning often.

Bit disappointed. Been here in past, really nice. Not tonight. Starters were good. Got the Chateaubriand sharer steak for our main. Supposed to be carved tableside, it wasn't. Came on a plate, swimming in the resting juice, like it was about to be served to a dog. Almost cold. Baklava dessert was good. Small portion. Paid 11 quid for a long Island iced tea. Hardly any alcohol, very weak. Won't be returning sadly. So dissatisfied. Shame as this was one of our faves. We spent £180 on this. You'd expect more.

Three standout features: extensive and varied menu, good value 2 and 3-course lunch menus and great staff. The setting is also very attractive.

Had a fantastic meal and experience at Kassap, we ate from the lunch menu, 2 courses for £17:95, we all had varied starters and mains, everyone in the party loved both courses,stacks cooked exactly as asked. Only little niggle was the speed of service after taking our order to actually getting some food was longer than expected, but since it was really busy in there the delay was not excessive.

Best meal I have had in quite a long time!

There are no disabled toilets here. Apparently, you can use the ones next door or struggle up the stairs (if you are able) to use their ones. It isn't very wheelchair accessible either. The tables are really packed together, with no room around to navigate a chair. The food was nice. It was probably the most extensive children's menu I've seen and my children really enjoyed their meals. The staff were lovely and friendly.

I really liked the food and the service, without a doubt one of the best in Liverpool for a Spaniard who knows how to eat well.

Booked this restaurant for Mother's Day and I'm so glad I did. The whole family really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the authenticity of the venue. . Located towards the to of Bold Street, near the church, the venue is in an excellent location and is competing with several other excellent restaurants that make Bold Street a real treat for foodies. There really is something for everyone and in my opinion it's one of the best streets in Liverpool. . On entering the restaurant we were greeted and seated and I immediately got the impression that the staff are professional restauranteurs with a passion for good hospitality. . The menu is vast but nothing complicated and the staff seemed very knowledgeable about the dishes and the cooking methods. Bring a meat house, steak is of course a big feature of the menu, however, there were plenty of alternatives to choose from too. . The beer on tap was great and the wine list catered for all tastes and budgets. . My youngest dined from the kids menu which was exceptionally reasonable and almost as large as an adult portion. Totally suited to older children as well as little ones. My meal was super and I really enjoyed the chicken and lamb kebab. It was perfectly cooked and really tasty. My wife and son both had steaks and loved them - had my kebab not been so tasty I would have been pretty envious. . In summary, I will definitely return and hope this is not in the distant future. One tip - we booked and I think this is essential. The restaurant was very quickly at full capacity and I can understand why.

Went to Liverpool for the weekend and researched few steak houses. I am so glad I came across these guys. If you love steak then this place is a heaven for you. We went on Saturday night, for starters I ordered prawn cocktail, mains rib eye steak. The best I’ve had in the uk( and I travel for good food). The steak was so good that I had to go back the next day for lunch. This time I ordered the sirloin for mains and for dessert the blakava. Their lunch offers are unbeatable £20 or something for a 3 course meal. Their staff are lovely. You can tell that making good streak is their passion. All the best guys, wishing you all the success you deserve!!!

By far the best 3 course meal in a long time. The lunch menu for just over £21 and is amazing, lots of variety, food was amazing and staff were friendly. Will definitely be visiting again before too long.

We were so impressed with this restaurant. We went for the 3 course lunch menu and it is ridiculous value for the quality of food. There is a bit of a wait but simply because the food is made fresh and all the better for it. So impressed with the quality and taste, huge pat on the back for the chef. The staff were friendly and professional and could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended, will definitely be returning.

Highly recommended. Great atmosphere and an excellent steak restaurant with a wide variety menu extending beyond meat. My husband loves steaks and I was looking for a special restaurant for his birthday dinner during our trip to Liverpool. I found this restaurant on my own, I liked the menu I saw online and our dining experience exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is a combo of cozy and warm and elegant and the service was good. We loved our drinks (a good American bourbon selection for my husband) and I had a terrific old-fashioned. But most important, the food was excellent. My husband had a wonderful steak dinner (filet and perfectly grilled asparagus); I'm a vegetarian and had a delicious baked augergine entree (thanks to our server who recommended it). And a thank you to the staff for providing an unexpected birthday dessert. Overall, a very nice dining experience.

Beautiful meal here over Aintree weekend. Greeted and seated quickly by the team. A great selection of wines, I had the organic Malbec - Chile and it was honestly one of the nicest wines I’ve ever had, perfect temperature and just beautiful. The steak was cooked to perfection. I ordered sirloin with potatoes and a side order of asparagus - all beautiful. Service was great, staff very helpful and don’t rush you. Thank you - we will definitely return when we are back in the city.

We came with high expectations (it was recommended by a local) but left disappointed. There were five of us. All the steaks were dry and fibrous (just lacking that silky mouth feel of a good steak). The steaks were over done with requested medium-rare being delivered medium or worse (sent one back and the replacement was slightly better). The side of potatoes was drenched in an undescribable yellow sauce that was tasteless. And apparently two people cannot share a steak - you have to order your own portion (so we ended up with an expensive 800g steak of which we took home half and it ended up in eggs for breakfast the next day). The wines available by the glass were passable.

Popped in for a late lunch. No booking but were met with a friendly smile and shown to our table. We ordered the mid week special of 2 courses for £16.95 (I think!) The food was absolutely beautiful. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. So juicy, full of flavour. Just enough. Fresh, crispy, fluffy hand cut chips. Lovely, attentive staff. Gorgeous cocktails. Very good espresso martini! Will definitely be back

We enjoyed a fabulous 2 course lunch with the best service. I would eat here every week if I lived in Liverpool! My steak was amazing and the Borek starter with salad was so tasty. My friend’s Baklava was incredible. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable. A great experience!

This was a random stop for lunch whilst we were on a trip to Liverpool. The service was excellent from walking in the door to leaving. Absolutely loved the food. The beef rib tacos were some of the best tacos I've ever had. My partner loved her dish as well which was a creamy chicken breast. I would 100% go back and recommend this place.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend of a friend, what can i say, the service, food & atmosphere was fantastic, the price was very reasonable not too cheap & not too expensive. All 4 of us had something different, starters, mains & dessert and all plates went back empty simply outstanding. We will be paying Kassap another visit when we go to Liverpool.

Food wasn't bad however the atmosphere was very uncomfortable, all interactions from the staff seemed very forced and fake. Asked for no onions in my burger as a personal preference, this was acknowledged by the waiter and also was on the receipt, however i was presented with a burger full of onion and the same waiter seemed to mock it and say definitely no onion in there when it was visibly all over the burger 🤣 sent it back for another burger with no onion and the exact same burger came out however they had just picked out the onion which is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
