The blonde waitress attending our table was extremely helpful, allowing us the time needed to choose the food. The food was great 💯 and the service was topped up with excellence by Anca, we recommend it and will definitely return! Proper Italian taste!

There was a blonde italian woman with a side swept fringe and she was extremely rude and didn’t give good service whatsoever. EXTREMELY judgemental and uncouth the food was delightful and came within exceptional timing however the waitress really put a dampener on the mood. Me and my girlfriend were just trying to enjoy our meal but couldn’t get over the fact that the woman handled our table with such patronisation and all round neglectful service.

Came in for a quick drink and bite to eat. Food, drinks and service were lovely. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with lots of street photography framed around the walls - though I was pretty upset to find a huge canvas with AI generated art in the toilets. It looks cheap and tacky, and comes across as a poor taste addition in amongst the real, human-made artwork. Pay for real art, don’t get it generated by a machine!

For such a cosy restaurant, it's brilliant, food amazing,service lovely all staff very helpful. Been several times and never disappointed

Lovely food. Full of flavour. Also has a full gluten free menu.

Absolutely fantastic food & busy atmosphere. The building is well lit, but not overly bright. Service was outstanding. My only minor gripe is the restaurant is pretty compact, which means depending on where you sit, you might find it a squeeze.

Had some time to spare waiting for a train today. Didn’t want Mac D, Burger King etc, had a wander and found this Italian. Looked inviting. Went in, great welcome, friendly staff and a really lovely pizza and glass of red. Thankyou and would def recommend.

Lovely place with surprisingly high ceilings once you're inside. Not sure what it might have been originally as the back interior is quite ornate. So cute looking from outside with what looks like original frontage. The service was really welcoming and typically Italian. Good choice on the menu so something for everyone. Food was excellent, we all enjoyed what we ordered. Lovely little place x

I often use shrimp as a starter. The prawn in this restaurant were rubbery. The sauce seems to be correct, the tomatoes are fresh, the pan is hot, but the taste is bad. The 4 cheese pizza was good, but there was nothing but cheese, and they didn’t even add a basil leaf for decoration. It turned out lean. But the lasagna was excellent, tasty, tender, with a slight sourness and sufficient spices. A hot plate and grated Parmesan completed the picture.

Restaurant has a beautiful interior and atmosphere but is unfortunately let down by the service and the food. I was astonished by the rudeness of the staff and by the bland saltiness by the food. Don’t come here if you value manners, and definitely don’t come here if you’re vegetarian…

Truly exceptional Italian food. The calibre of every dish from melt-in-the-mouth garlic bread, to very well made classic pasta dishes , to terrific tiramisu is just crazy excellent. Great vegan and gluten free options. I find it very hard not to make a bee line to it when visiting the city. You’d be hard pushed to find better made food at a more costly high-end establishment.

Went for the first time on Thursday last it was my granddaughters birthday, the service and atmosphere were both amazing, but some of the starters let them down

Left disappointed. The waiters are excellent, and service was super fast (no more than 10 minutes after ordering), but too good to be true. The carbonara was dry and the worst we had ever tasted, and there was far too much cheese on everything. The Italian Club has clearly tried to prep before hand, as all our dishes were pre-made, and simply heated before bringing out. My opinion would be to chose a pizza, at least this will be fresh. I have been to the sister restaurant, the Italian club Fish, and they are much better - and would recommend to all to visit this instead.

Love this little cosy authentic Italian. Perfect after a full day in the City, just before going home. A real Italian pasta & a cup of coffee. Perfect!

Great feed! Skillfully cooked Italian classics in friendly atmosphere. Perfect spot for either a family meal or catching up with friends. Substantial portions means you leave feeling very well looked after. Acoustics good for the hard of hearing (like me) and the music is not overwhelming. Which enhanced my enjoyment. Staff lovely. Thank you.

What a place, walked past here for years and never ventured in, well so glad we have now, it won't be the last time we visit, the food was freshly cooked and very tasty all reasonably priced as well.

Really friendly staff, very attentive. Delicious food, beautiful decor/ambience. Only downfall is one toilet for whole restaurant (one mens, one ladies) meaning we had to queue! Apart from that, wonderful!

They seated us on a busy Saturday between reservations with no prior booking, and the service was fantastic. Pizzas were ordered and served within 20 minutes and they tasted absolutely gorgeous, best I've had in the UK.

Every city needs a great Italian restaurant, Liverpool is fortunate enough to have The Italian Club. Excellent food and service, and very good value for money. A very enjoyable meal.

Fantastic authentic, Italian restaurant my King Prawn in chilli and tomato sauce was probably the best starter I’ve had this year..

A great looking restaurant and we were greeted by staff and taken straight to our table that was clean and ready for us. We didn’t see staff for a little while but we were then served our drinks and ordering the food. Two pizzas and a prawn/pasta dish. All delicious and I didn’t get the usual look when I asked for a little Parmesan cheese on my pizza. Delicious food all round and a lovely, if slightly overpriced wine. We will definitely go back again. A lovely experience.

As a family of three, we were accomodated without a booking on a very busy Wednesday evening. The restaurant is vibrant, very cosy and a warm ambience. The staff are friendly, attentive and very efficient. The food was delicious, all came to the table in perfect time. The bill was very reasonable. We will be returning. If anything could have changed my experience to make it even more perfect would be the choice of background music, maybe something a little more chill or authentic than rock music, however, this certainly did not spoil my experience.

Just had couple of drinks with a friend that I have not seen for a very long time. I have not had any food there but could see orders coming on next tables and people enjoying themselves. I would love to give it a go for a next time with my family.

came in for a table of 2 walk-in, instantly met with hostility, server was giving us extremely dirty looks and when we were taken to a table she was super rude and was smirking to her other colleagues. we weren’t rude at all, but felt so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving even though beforehand were very excited for our meal. my friend and i have worked in hospitality our whole lives and have never felt like we’ve needed to leave a review, however, i would never dream of treating customers in this way. neither of us will be returning. manners cost nothing.

Pasta was hard and stuck together and garlic bread was very greasy. Staff and restaurant itself are lovely but wouldn’t come back for food

This restaurant is a hidden gem, the atmosphere is lovely but the food is something else! Beautifully flavoured authentic Italian dishes, generous portions, pasta cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. The espresso doppio was the best I have ever tasted. I'm so glad we found this place!

Bruschetta was tasty to start. The lasagne for main was quite bland and the tortellini felt like the pasta was an addition to the cheese, which overpowered the dish. Also, had to wait for a table despite booking

Some of the best Italian food I’ve had. Their pizzas are amazing, service team are friendly and efficient and on a busy night we didn’t wait any time to receive our food. 10/10 would recommend.

Good food, really friendly service, but incredibly noisy.

If you love Italian food, this is an unmissable restaurant; if you're meh about Italian food this will convert you I promise! Staff friendly and attentive. The restaurant interior is light and airy, felt like we were on holiday. The authentic food is to die for. The portions are large and full of flavour. Highly recommended!

Visited with family a few weeks back, generally good food and a nice location though a few reasons i didnt give give stars (just as feedback mainly): we arrived when it was quiet around 4pm and the service was immaculate through ordering and starters but then it began getting busier around 5pm and staff members required calling over to the table on multiple occasions appearing almost unaware of our existence, also do not order pizza here it was not nice stick to the authentic meals, we ordered two pizzas and they were not nice but again it was hard to feed this back given the lack of service. Apart from that generally a nice restaurant 👍

We dropped into this restaurant by chance after a show. We were glad we did as the food was wonderful. Service was super friendly. The Italian decor did add to the ambience and countered the slightly too brightly lit restaurant. Ceiling was high but the artwork dealt with that. I loved the background music choice, being different from other venues, not too loud. Food served quickly and had been freshly cooked. Highly recommend. We will try to visit again if time allows!
