Gorgeous food and the best staff! Love Sardinian food 🤤 Went back after 2 yrs, chef Nino is brilliant and Claudia who served us was so lovely. This is a place you have to go back and try everything!

The staff were brilliant, extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and myself meal was descent enough untill we were recommended the tiramisu for sweet. unfortunately it turned up in a tiny little jar with literally only half a dozen little spoonfuls, we were both very disappointed as it wasn't even that good apart from the cost of such a minute helping. I wouldn't say the portions were vague for money, so I don't think we'll be recommending this restaurant.

My friend and I came across La Famiglia while looking for somewhere to have dinner after a theatre trip. Lovely restaurant with lovely friendly staff. Good choice of dishes on the menu. I chose homemade lasagna which was absolutely delicious. My friend had soup to start then Gnocchetti Sardi al Ragu as his main. He highly recommends it. We shared a garlic bread too. Very reasonably priced. Lovely food and a lovely atmosphere. Will absolutely be returning.

Cheap and good quality Italian cuisine for Liverpool

My girlfriend and I went to this place two weeks ago. We had a great time, truly run by Italians, not like many who only have an Italian name. Excellent pasta, we also had the roast chicken which was cooked really well. We found ourselves just as the name says in FAMILY. We will happily return.

The great service made our first visit to this hidden away gem.

A wonderful little restaurant just off a busy street. We're so glad we found this as it was the best meal of our city break. The stuffed pasta options that we got, ravioli and tortelloni, were amazing. Service was polite and attentive. Brilliant little spot.

Sadly we didn’t particularly enjoy the food. It was alright but a bit basic and lacked taste across most of the dishes we ordered (seafood pasta, burrata pasta, pizza, lasagne). The pasta was also too hard, more than what you’d call ‘al dente’. The burger and tiramisu were nice so no complaints there. I’d recommend Cucina di Vincenzo instead for Italian food in Liverpool.

A charming restaurant. We visited on a Monday evening and were warmly welcomed. There is a good choice of food and drink, supplemented by the specials board. We enjoyed our meals, all freshly made and of good quality. We ended the meal with espresso martinis - one of the best I've ever tried! Highly recommend- if I was local, I'd be a regular!

It's underground so the signal is a bit poor, but Wi-Fi is available. I had pasta for the meal, but there are many types of noodles such as flat noodles and gnocchi depending on the menu ✨ The owner was also friendly and nice.

This wonderful place is not part of a chain. There is a real chef. The food is all real. There is a charming waitress. A proper welcome. The menu has a Sardinian influence (which appears to be more than a design choice). The wine list although limited has the classics with a fabulous Bovale (from Sardinia of course). They do a full range of food from salads through sucking pig fabulous Tagliata steaks, good fresh fish to delightful pasta. Faultless in its understatement

The food was great. The service at the end left a little to be desired, as we wanted to pay the bill and the waiters pretended they didn't see us or said they would bring the bill but they didn't.

Talk about judging a book by its cover…….we went in tonight for a family dinner 2 adults and 2 teenage boys with no booking. There was 2 free tables and we were told the only table they had was a high top breakfast bench with 4 stools. After 20 mins we had to ask for menus and basically beg to be served. We then asked could we avail of the empty tables which was denied even though they were suddenly available when a table of 4 people also ‘walk ins’ arrived. They were automatically served before us also. Throughout the night the ‘manager/owner’ behind the bar continuously looked down his nose at us and dismissed our requests until it came to us paying our £200 bill which obviously shocked him. At this point he then apologised for the ‘table mishap’ and wished us a good night. He obviously thought we were a waste of a table for him but I guess he thought wrong. Poor service food was ok definitely would not recommend or would not return. Would advise said man to work on his people skills.

Amazing restaurant, super clean with a very nice staff. The food was excellent. I hope I could come back again but I hadn't the opportunity. If you like (actual) italian food, that is for sure the place to go !

This place could be so much better, the staff are brilliant and very welcoming, it is a Sardinian Italian welcome that is really warm. The lasagne was really good, the risotto was a bit bland.

Came for my birthday, and was not disappointed with our recommendation from the hotel. The staff were professional and friendly. Good as authentic and very tasty, atmosphere was terrific, my sister in law is Italian, so I got happy birthday sang to me in Italian, a truly wonderful evening, the wine was good also 🍷need to return asap

We visited here for a family birthday on recommendation from an Italian friend and it did not disappoint. Superb home cooked Italian food using top quality ingredients. We all had starters, main and dessert with Wine and it was special. Thank very much we will definitely visit again.

Really good food serving its purpose and the service itself made it even better. It was quite late, but they didn’t rush us through the dinner, and we even squeezed down a dessert. A really delicious tiramisu.

Lovely restaurant great food good value. Easy to walk past on the way to the shopping centre.... Don't ! Go in even though it doesn't look busy. Lots of families and couples of all ages were in and out throughout our visit. Looking forward to going again .

It took more than 20 minutes to order our food and we had to ask for our drinks to be served after 1 hour! Then we had only had bread to eat and half of it was so hard it was inedible. Then the food came and only the ravioli was tasty. The gambas had no taste at all, just the serano ham they were wrapped in. The waitress apologised and said we would not be charged for the service. As if we were going to give them a tip! The least they could have done was offer us the drinks for free! Will NEVER visit again!

Food took a long while and half of it had already gone cold. Not much meat on the lamb, chicken was dry and hard like stale bread.

Really enjoyed the roast piglet, well cooked with a delicious sauce and a rare dish to find. Service was very warm and friendly too.

Terrific authentic Sardinian dishes at reasonable prices. Very much a family restaurant with some great menu options. Service is very friendly, if a little slow on a busy weekend. Nice setting, although nothing special. Overall great food, friendly service, decent prices. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed my meal but the restaurant was too hot so I didn't have a sweet or a coffee and left early. It came recommended and was happy to have a meal here

Wow. How I have I not been here before :) Saw this family run Sardinian restaurant mentioned in the local newspaper as being highly rated so decided to visit. The paper was not wrong! Fantastic little independent restaurant with a lovely feel; interesting menu and some classic Sardinian flavours. Beautiful bruschetta with mushrooms, sarda and truffle cheese to start, followed by ravioli tartufo - with mushrooms and truffle butter 😻 Perfect flavours and portions. Dessert was a delicate apple tart. So many choices on the menu that I wanted. I must come here again and again in future! The beer was Ichnusa. As it should be in a Sardinian restaurant. As it should be. Definitely recommended. I’d say you should book. Could have walked in tonight but get the impression it’s popular later in the week. Yum.

We called in for lunch. Food excellent. House wine a bit dry for our taste but drinkable. Our waiter was efficient and friendly. There were only a few other people in there so the atmosphere was quiet. But that's fine with us but may not suit everyone. Will go again definitely.

serveuse sympathique italienne MAIS 1h d’attente pour recevoir un verre et l’antipasto. 2h après, toujours pas reçu le plat ! la cuisine et le service n’arrivent pas à suivre avec les tables qu’ils proposent. la serveuse ne s’excuse pas vers nous, nous sommes invisibles, jusqu’à ce qu’elle capte notre signe de main. Cerise sur le gâteau, leur "fameux lasagnes" n'étaient que épilation de pâtes sans "ragù" après 2h d'attente !

Proprietario scortese e maleducato. Ci ha cacciato in malo modo perché avevamo un cagnolino al seguito, trattando male anche la cameriera alla quale stavamo chiedendo informazioni. Non posso valutare il cibo, ma non mangerei mai in un posto in cui il proprietario è così antipatico. Lo sconsiglio.

We dined here around a month ago, and I still think about the quality of the food here! The setting inside was beautiful and felt very homely. The service was brilliant and they were very pleasant and kind to us. The pappardelle burrata was amazing and was my first time trying a burrata and would definitely recommend the restaurant for its family style home made food!

To describe a visit to this wonderful family restaurant, you can't, you have to experience it yourself. Great food, atmosphere and people. A little bit of Italy in a big city

If you like real italian pizza, go somewhere else. It is not often that I nly give ONE start, but all in all the food experience was one star. With an average of 4,7 they must be fantastic at all other italian meals, so go for that. Here I had the second worst pizza in my life. The worst thing is, that they thought it was good. Give the chefs a free holiday in Italy to study pizzamaking

Authentic Italian restaurant with home-like atmosphere and reasonable price. I had Fettuccine pistachio; it was boss, the sauce was perfectly creamy with the mix of pancetta, which makes this dish go perfectly well. Recommended for all pasta lovers😁

Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients, and a relaxed atmosphere. Can't recommend highly enough.

They ask if you have any Special Occasions, and then don’t bother to do anything when you let them know it’s someone’s birthday. The staff take the mick out of you if you order something and then take a few things off the top of the dish. Not a great atmosphere at all.

The foot was amazing. Portions don’t seem excessive on the eye but they fill you up! The quality of the food was great and for the price on the meals is reasonable, drinks were expensive though.

Feels like l just got the best food in Liverpool. The freshness, flavour and texture of the food was perfect. The staff is the loveliest and they want to make sure you are having a great experience. I can't describe my happiness right now, words are not enough at all.

Good Italian vibes. The menu is quite authentic. We had the burrata with caponata as a starter which was really good. As mains we had the pasta with pistachio and pancetta, good but not as good as we expected, the sauce was a bit bland and the pancetta was slightly burnt. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The resturant was so relaxing and cute, it's such a perfect setting for a date. I had the house white wine and it was so smooth and sweet. The portions were very big, I wasn't expecting it to be honest but was very happy with how much we were offered. The owner was lovely and very hospitable. The bread was too good not to eat as soon as it came to the table, I promise you there was more before the picture was taken haha.

I'm trying to eat more fish at the moment so though where better to try than my favourite restaurant in Liverpool. The seabass dish was absolutely delicious and as always the service was fabulous. I can't reccomend this place enough!

Came with my partner this evening for our anniversary meal. We have been lucky enough to travel to Italy a couple of times and this is as good as it gets. Lovely home made Italian food and proper Italian vibe. Amazing selection of drinks with Italian imports and really friendly helpful staff.

Lovely Italian, great food, location and service

The starter I ordered seafood platter is Okay. The main course is King prawns wrapped in beacon. Beacon is very salty. The King prawns is definitely from frozen ones. Very overcooked. The side dish, French fries, unfortunately quite bad, not fresh cut. 100% Package. The house wine is good. Overall 3 out of 5.

Visited last night. We had travelled from Tamworth for a birthday celebration and saw the reviews for 4.7 stars and decided to give it a go as we were staying close by. Ordered the Fettucine Pistachio and the Risotto Gamberi & Melone. Both orders have given us food poisoning and quite frankly we were not happy with the service there and refused to pay the service charge of 10% and they had decided to charge us for still water when tap water would have been suffice. Not happy with the meal and the service

The restaurant is incredible! The food was proper Italian, fresh ingredients, amazing quality and the prices are great for what the restaurant has to offer. Claudia, the waitress, gave us some amazing suggestions especially with the wine that was Sardinian, Vermentino, very pleasant and helpful. Could not recommend it enough !

Visited here 01/09/22 ordered lasagna, porchetta and seadas from the specials board. Excellent food reasonably priced would definitely recommend and would certainly return if I was in the area again.

Food was not the same copy paste Italian restaurant yet had a distinct Sicilian taste and the owner was very passionate about his restaurant and cared about his customers.

Had lunch here with my husband on Thursday, our first visit and will certainly not be the last.. food was exceptional, a little gem of a restaurant, staff were wonderful and so friendly, and the lovely waitress Natalia, who was just finishing her shift was so nice, Thank you La Famiglia xx

Lovely Place with delicious Italian food.

I visited the place in July 2022 for the first time. I had one of the best Italian meals ever, it was a very positive surprise for me! Pappardelle was great and pasta al mare which my friends had was delicious. Also, the mixed antipasti as a starter was very tasty. Surprisingly the portions were very satisfactory 😊
