Apart from a grumpy member of staff who was clearly not in a very good mood with a chef, it was absolutely awesome. All other serving staff were excellent and friendly. Food is delicious, very slightly on the expensive side but incredibly tasty.

Spent an evening dining and drinking cocktails with a few friends and we all loved it. Out server Peter was really helpful and was swift when serving us our food and drinking cocktails. Would definitely be coming back!

My daughter had her baby shower here and it was just magical, food amazing, staff couldn't do enough for us and they were wonderful.....and just look how stunning it is.

I visited Luca yesterday afternoon with my partners son & the dog. We just wanted to sit down & have a coffee. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy. I wasn't sure if we could sit outside & have a coffee, so I went inside and enquired. A young man (bearded) behind the bar said hello & I ask him could we get coffees & sit outside. He asked what we would like & I replied saying I wasn't sure yet to which he said, take a seat outside & someone will be right you. After waiting for more than 10 minutes, we got up & left. I did pop my head in the door & said we were going....don't think they bothered. We carried on down Allerton Rd & stopped at @PierreGriffes. We sat outside, had prompt service & delicious coffee. They even brought out a water bowl for the dog.

Had breakfast at Luca. ( 2nd visit this wk inc dinner which was excellent too) Coffee & food was really tasty. Large portions. I had the mushrooms on toast with poached eggs; all delicious. We were served very attentively by lovely Grace. Always smiling & nothing too much trouble considering she was working alone & Luca was packed out……at 1030am! Book early to avoid disappointment🤣

DELICIOUS! We did the bottomless brunch, and each of the small plates were lovely. Service was great, and staff were friendly. I would definitely come back, just to try some more of the dishes! Perfect girly date day.

One of my favourite dishes, the Gnocchi Di patate is so good, have had it three times and it is a small plate but so tasty. All the things at Luca are fresh and taste amazing.

Can’t fault anything, the food and drinks was 10/10 and the atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting, would recommend this place any more highly. Sergio was fantastic and the food was unbelievable, Tippy gave us a smile and was amazing from start to finish. 10/10 highly recommend.

Went for a family meal, we were greeted by two foh and served by Finn lovely person, was very friendly atmosphere and really tasty dishes and that Raspberry Limone never take it off the menu. We struggled as a group to pinpoint our favourite dish as it was all really flavourful

We had lunch to Luca today. We've got risotto, gnocchi and tagliatelle. Gnocchi and tagliatelle were ok, risotto way overcooked and far away from being properly done. Portions were tiny, I wanted to ask if we mistakenly ordered the kid menu. But no one came to ask us if the food was OK. Also, 10% optional service charge was included without asking in the bill. Would not recommend.

Been to this restaurant several times now and it is faultless. Food is always amazing and staff are always super friendly & helpful. Really lovely place which I always recommend!

Went for a bottomless brunch. The staff were attentive and friendly, Paul and Casey served us and couldn't have been nicer. The food as always was delicious. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The drinks were generous and great quality. And excellent experience all round.

The second time visiting Luca, this time for Valentine’s Day after a great experience the first time. Unfortunately, tonight wasn’t great. The food was mostly lovely except the gnocchi which was so overpoweringly salty. The service was cold and unfriendly. We were waiting 25 minutes for our dessert (tiramisu which requires no In service preparation time). Our server had clearly forgotten and when I reminded her, she said ‘it’s on its way’. One tiramisu arrived, despite ordering 2. And then had to wait another 10 minutes for the second. None of this was acknowledged or apologised for. There was an automatic service charge added to the bill, which is absolutely fine. But the server should not just assume the service charge is being paid, and type it straight onto the card machine. There was no inquiry as to whether we enjoyed our time. Then straight after paying the bill, we were asked to leave, despite the only reason we were still there being that we were waiting so long for our desserts!

Third time at this stunning place. Cannot get enough!

Amazing dinner, Peter and Finn were brilliant.

Food always stunning. Returned today for the first time in a while and once again very impressed. Looked after very well by Peter and Paul - couldn’t have done more to ensure we had a good evening. Wine list is selective and all the wines I’ve tried have been delicious. Portions are generous, and the staff are always happy to take more orders during your meal. 5/5 and highly recommended! Can’t wait to come back and try breakfast.

Absolutely brilliant meal this evening. Food was fresh and delicious and the service was very friendly and efficient. Only downside was the music playlist which was pretty terrible but it was quiet enough that it didn't impact our enjoyment.

Had a breakfast at Luca,s . The whole experience was faultless . Very high standards. The food the place the decor , the ambience was excellent . Soon as we walked in got greeted with a smile by Sam the waitress , she was very friendly, very good at her service skills . Sam is a credit to Lucas , as i think it’s very important to get greeted as soon as you walk into a restaurant. Love it there . Highly recommended it .

Ate here last week, nice venue loved the decor. Food was tasty but the portion sizes varied massively, depending which small plates you ordered you could be left very hungry at the end of the night. The bruschetta and prawn small plates were miserly in size, way too expensive for what was provided so choose carefully. Staff not that attentive, fooling around in plain site while we were trying to get their attention. Overall, nice try but not worth the money.

Had a lovely meal in Luca with my wife. The food was spot on, portions were great for sharing and the service from Paul was fantastic throughout. Will be back.

Great experience from start to finish. Stand out dishes were the Breaded Mozzarella sticks and Vodka sauce, root vegetables, Lamb Ragu and seafood risotto. The pricing is little on the high side with a tapas sized portion costing around £11 per plate, so the recommended 3pp can quickly get expensive. But I think worth it for a special meal out.
