Pizza is an easy option that everyone likes so went here . Never been before but was impressed . It was a nice experience with the tiramisu espresso martini being a highlight . The Taratina pizza was great too. I wouldn’t go back for a while but that’s just personal choice. Lots of things included on the menu needed to be translated. One pizza cutter for a table 6 was shocking along with lacking cutlery. Make sure to check that everything you order is brought to the table as they forgot out dip

THE best pizza in liverpool I mean yummy. Staff super friendly and fast . Atmosphere very festive . The pizza has the right crust and size. Plenty of options of cocktails as well. Amazing .

A party of 12 came on a Friday afternoon. This place was outstanding from the best pizzas we’ve ever had to the service. We were looked after by Emma who was amazing. She kept drinks flowing and food coming. That girl was outstanding! 10/10 this place!!

Wowww the pizza is so good and it’s all so reasonably priced. I had the pumpkin pizza from the specials menu and it was unique but in a good way. I recommend getting the garlic aioli dip to pair it with. We had such a lovely experience at Rudy’s last night for my friend’s birthday. Will be back!

In a small group, we were forced to pay an optional service charge, even everyone had already paid a 10% tip.

We were a big group and paid separately. Unfortunately the waiter forced us to pay an optional (!) service charge even though all of us had given 10% tip. We pointed out that the service charge was optional but he insisted on the payment. One of the friend gave him additional money to avoid trouble. I think this is a Mafia method and I don’t think the restaurant will see me again.

Tried Rudy's by chance, best decision I've made for a long time. For traditional pizza, this is the place; flavours are amazing, the pizza base is super fresh & tasty, staff are very pleasant, helpful and efficient. The ergonomics are good, prices are fantastic and service was swift. Will be visiting here alot ♥

Went here last night for my birthday. Really nice pizza. Just booked again for before I go and see Ricky Gervais next month I was that impressed. All 5 of us got triple pepperoni. We all loved it. My mate Callum loved it so much he ate it like a little Goblin in about 2 minutes. Get extra chilli honey as a tip.

An absolute must omg pizza is unbelievable, flavour well worth a visit or 2 .my new pizza place in Liverpool, freshly made ,very friendly staff and clean and you have to buy the dips but we'll worth it. It you don't finish they'll box it up for you

The best pizza I have had for years. Absolutely perfect in every way. On a par with a fine pizza I had in Capri many years ago. Genuine character and flavours.

I had the pleasure of visiting Rudy’s Pizza in Liverpool yesterday, and it was truly an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The pizza itself was exceptional. I went for the classic Margherita, and it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful, and the mozzarella cheese was rich and melted to perfection. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. Service was fast and efficient, and the staff were professional, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food, and the whole experience left me wanting to come back for more.

Very popular so book ahead on weekends. Casual sit in place so no need to dress up although some groups had. Tiramasu popular too. Very attentive staff.

Me and my wife had an absolute fantastic pizza and a vegetarian sharing platter on Sunday night I've got to say it was awesome. Staff were really friendly and service was quick even though it was extremely busy. Good value for money too. Definitely be back.

Adisappointing experience I had recently at Rudy’s on Castle Street with one of your managers. The situation occurred when we arrived at the restaurant at 9:26 PM, based on your Google listing, which states your hours are until 9:45 PM. Upon entering, we waited by the front door, but a female staff member glanced at us several times and chose to ignore us. Shortly after, one of your managers approached and informed us that the restaurant was closed. When I mentioned that the online hours indicated you were open until 9:45 PM, the manager replied that the closing time was actually 9:15 PM. When I reiterated that the website said 9:45 PM, he responded rudely, saying, “I’m the manager, I decide.” I then suggested that perhaps the online hours should be updated to avoid confusion. The manager’s tone and attitude were unprofessional, and the female staff member’s decision to ignore us added to the frustration. The poor customer service, especially from the manager, was quite upsetting. The next day, I emailed the restaurant to ask about your last serving time and received inconsistent replies. I also noticed online that the last booking is listed as 9:30 PM. Since we were at the restaurant before 9:30 PM, it felt like the staff had intentionally chosen to ignore us As a regular customer of Rudy’s, I’m deeply disappointed by this experience. It’s misleading to display incorrect hours, and for someone who is neurodiverse, this inconsistency is especially confusing. I hope you can take this feedback seriously and make improvements to avoid similar issues in the future.

Great pizza and great atmosphere. We arrived without booking and it was no problem, we got seated at some bar stools watching the team make the pizza's infront of us. The pizza's were fresh and delicious and the staff were very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend trying!

Delicious pizza and fast service

Would give it more stars, have dined in here as a customer and it's great but as a courier it's disgusting how much the staff just blank you and even blank you on purpose. Lack of empathy knowing we're only paid by each delivery and it's hard as it is. We then get it off the customers too then.

Quirky, rustic and excellent pizzas, thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Calabrese pizza, mixed olives, the only issue was no rum Baba dessert left. The Italian draught beer was also very tasty. Highly recommended!

Lovely pizza for my lunch. Really bustly making for a great atmosphere. I had my pizza to myself but some other couples were sharing one between them...as these pizzas are a big plateful of food.

The staff were extremely friendly and happy to welcome us today. They apologised preemptively that there was likely to be a wait for our order, but it actually came extremely quickly. We look forward to the new specials every month, and the 'almost lasagne' was absolutely phenomenal! Would definitely recommend going to this restaurant over the Albert Dock restaurant, Castle Street had much friendlier staff and significantly better atmosphere.

Lovely pizza best pizza I have had in months

After4 long years of searching for an authentic Italian pizza and being served what can only be described as mediocre at best, I've finally found Pizza Nirvana, everything was perfect, the food the ambience and the staff all superb, fantastico

OMG! It's exactly like being in Italy. The food is so comforting. The pizzas were Margherita and were perfect! The staff was quick and helpful. The pizzas arrived at the table very quickly and were juicy and had quality ingredients.

Delicious pizzas served piping hot. The homemade lemonade was so good too. Staff were lovely and we were served promptly. Will definitely return and would recommend.

Pizzas were phenomenally good. Very authentic and cooked in a large wood-fired oven, the base was perfectly done. The number of vegan/plant-based options was very impressive and there were also a range of mocktails. Had to wait a while to receive the bill at the end, but otherwise the service was good.

Amazing from start to finish….. The staff went out of their way to make our little boy feel special making a pizza that suited us all. The pizzas were lovely very thin and tasty. My little boy and I managed a desert and glad we did. Can’t fault this place from its price, service and food quality. Will be visiting again thank you 🤩

I am going to that place almost every Friday , but this day wasn't the best pizza, no fresh rocket on the pizza, and the cheese was the best. Sadly, I had to cancel my pizza.

We've been here twice recently, once in the evening when we sat outside, and the other when we ate inside at lunchtime. The atmosphere outside on a Saturday evening was excellent, but inside at lunchtime it was rather quiet. However, on both occasions the service was very good and the pizzas wonderful, among the best I've had for a long time. For me, Rudy's is one of the best places for pizza in the city centre.

Feels like in Naples. Many vegetarian and vegan options too and really tasty. Great service with a lot of vegetarian options can never wrong.

Apparently a reservation is mission critical for pizza, otherwise you will be turned away even if the venue is half empty and all the seats outside have no one on them.

If you are looking for a pizza in a restaurant that feels Italian, then this is the place for you. Popped in for a meal with the family after a long day, and everybody left happy.

Always amazing food!!! Fantastic atmosphere!

Pizza was lovely absolutely no complaints on that front. We were walk in guests with 2 young children. There was no space inside, understandable as walk in guests so agreed to sit outside, but was made to feel more like an inconvenience than valued customers. When people cane over they were for the most part polite, but service was slow and lacked attention to detail, e.g. wrong drinks brought, when replacement drinks came out order wasn't taken instead they were quickly placed down and server turned away without checking of we were ready.

Very simpel style in the restaurant. But it works, always busy. The magic pizza smell when you open the door are amazing. Really good quality on the pizza. Draft beer was also good. Service friendly. Its a safe choice for a short visit with great pizza. Would not choose this place for a full evening out, atmosphere not very good.

Amazing value for 2 people (I think the bill was only around £26.60) & friendly staff with a good positive ambience, quick service was a plus. Also pizza is really good too!!! 🥗🥗🥫🥗

If a waitress can’t handle a customer waving them over because their food hasn’t appeared after a 40 minute wait, they should find a new job. Our first visit was great, but to sit and watch so many customers turned away from a nearly empty restaurant that was “fully booked”, wait over 40 minutes for main courses and then be called rude for waving a waitress over for attention? Absolutely out of order. Terrible service, won’t be going back. What a shame!

Recommended by a friend.Don't bother folks, nice Sunny Thursday afternoon,not very busy at all, staff pleasant, but spent so long checking devices, and not long enough actually attending to customers. Drinks order took ages to arrive. Even longer to get someone to take food order, food did arrive quickly, no cutlery,napkins or pizza cutter,had to go search ourselves. Finally someone did deliver them. Pizza, totally disappointing, sloppy to barely cooked, spicy calabrese sausage,someone stole the spicy and sausage. We ate it as it was late lunch and we were hungry, and couldn't be bothered with the inquest. Asked for the bill, we could have left,no one would notice some of our party went on ahead and it was good 10-12 minutes after we got the bill. Staff pleasant but service chronically slow Food, unpleasant slop better anywhere,but very cheap for city centre. If in the area grab a sandwich from Sainsbury's across the road save yourself the bother.

Was quite crowded but loved the vibes. The pizza is absolutely delicious and very light and comes straight from the oven in probably less than 10 minutes. They don’t really have meat options except for vegan lamb which was actually pretty good. The waiters are very friendly. Bathrooms are clean and tidy.

This is a solid 5 star pizza. The pizza is crafted by a great chief who uses superb ingredients and thoughtfully build the pizza to look like a work of art by Michelangelo with one exception, the pizza is completed in a very reasonable time despite the crowds. When the pizza is served it’s best consumed warm/hot but the flavours are well presented and complement each other. The wood burning ovens impact can be delicately and meaningfully felt on the bread and crust. Speaking of the crust, one could order that on its own and still be as impressed as the whole experience here. Wait staff was brisk and friendly, they run a serious business of making patrons happy and not wait too long on the meal. No idle chit chat but you feel the care they have for how they will treat you as a guest of this fine establishment. They took great care with allergy concerns and carefully reviewed the options. There is plenty of options for those with an already. As a side note the home made fresh squeezed lemonade comes in a non alcohol and adult version. This was a splendid experience over all, makes me want to stay one more night in Liverpool which is also a great city.

Sat outside on a hot summer day, drinking cocktails and eating incredible pizza... who could ask for me!

Beeing a single woman 60plus I didn’t get a table although there were free tables in the afternoon. No problem to be served beeing two men no meaning which age. It’s nearly impossible not to call it discrimination.

The restaurant was nice and clean, good ambience but did not have available the advertised pizza so had to go for second option.

Where to start... The service was excellent, attentive and friendly without being cloying or false and OTT. We sat at the bar and could see the pizza being made and oh what a delight that pizza was. From the thin chewy and wonderfully cooked base, to the tangy tomato sauce (which I doubt has suffered the indignity of adulteration with tomato purée) to the flavourful toppings, which were sufficient but not piled on. Even the cheesy garlic bread was a joy to eat. I will be back on my next trip to Liverpool.

Pizzas were great - for some reason on the day we went (when Pink was playing a concert locally) it was busy in the city and they told us it would be at least 1hr for food. A lot of people ahead of us had not gone in to the restaurant because of being told this, however it didn’t take nearly that long and the restaurant was nearly empty inside. Pleasant dining experience - a bit on the pricy side and they’d also run out of a lot of their beer options on the hot summers day we were there. Would go again though as the pizza was good!!

Another wonderful experience in Rudy's Castle Street. Very accommodating as always, they even lowered the aircon. Attentive and friendly waiter. Fresh, hot food. If you are thinking of going to a Rudy's in Liverpool, Castle Street is the one to go to!

Came here for a business lunch, as good as my local in Birmingham. Fast and friendly service. Desserts were a bit disappointing but the pizzas are great.

If you havnt been yet go the pizza was amazing Cooked in a wood fired oven to perfection high quality toppings and thd staff were amazing Newcastle would love this .... just saying 🥰

Lovely food as always but the service was extremely poor. We were shown to our table, and our drinks order was take - but no welcome or personal questions asked (have you dined with us before, are you celebrating anything today etc, which we were in fact celebrating a graduation!). We didn’t receive any water for the table, despite other tables around us being given a carafe of water and glasses. We then waited around 20- 25minutes before our drinks arrived and our food order was taken (again no personal recommendations given, no signposting to the specials board), it felt like our waitress could simply not be bothered with us. Food came out relatively quickly, but trying to catch our waitress’ eye for service was impossible, she looked in every direction except ours and did not come to take a second drinks order until after we had finished our food. Service felt very impersonal, we didn’t feel very welcome and as someone who works in hospitality I was disappointed to see the lack of it at Rudys. The pizza is great, the service needs some serious improvement - Italians are known for their welcoming environment where everyone is treated like family, we certainly were not today.
