Rudy's Albert Dock in Liverpool

We had a fantastic evening meal here while staying in Liverpool. We shared 5 small plates, followed by desserts, and every single one was delicious. The service was friendly, welcoming and efficient, and the location on the docks was great.

What a great combination / fusion of tastes... it was so gooooood! Really nice staff too.

We stumbled upon this place at Albert Dock as we were exploring Liverpool. The smell coming out of the restaurant was delicious and we decided to come back in the evening for dinner. We did not get disappointed, the pizzas were extremely delicious, very authentically Italian, generous sizes and a very good price! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere lovely! Would definitely recommend for a romantic couple's Saturday night like ours

Brilliant food and very friendly staff!

One of the best roast dinners. My daughter has eaten many times before. OMG the desserts are amazing, I personally thanked the chefs. I will definitely be back.

Visited here on a Saturday night as a group of 7, when we arrived our table wasn't quite ready so we went to the bar next door and got a drunk which we were allowed to take into the restaurant. We sat upstairs, which was nice but it was quite hot, staff were nice and opened a window for us, so was fine. We were sure how many items to order, and asked the waitress for advice, she was really helpful and made some great recommendations. We ordered 3 dishes each, which varied in size. For me, the cauliflower dishes and the mushroom shwarma were outstanding. The sea bass was also amazing. I absolutely loved it here, and tried dishes I have never had before, I can't rate it highly enough. we had 3 people with allergies on the table and the staff were great with what they could order and overall was handled brilliantly. I will certainly be coming back next time we are in Liverpool!

Great venue, gorgeous food and wine and excellent service

Maray never disappoints and today’s visit was up to usual standard. Fabulous food flavours, all dishes were brilliant and I would sincerely recommend anything on the menu, especially the ‘vegie’ options. Service was excellent, all of the staff were efficient and charming. Maray, Albert Dock is definitely worth a visit.

Positive: Delicious food, probably the best I had in England. Nice staff. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Negative: The waitress immediately (before I even sat down) asked me if I want still or sparkling water, like it was free, it wasn’t, only when I was paying, I saw it’s 3 pounds.

Lovely little place, great food and service

Great and friendly place with a buzzy atmosphere. I walked in last minute without a reservation on a Friday night and they were very kindly able to accommodate me (though I’d recommend booking!). The food was delicious, Middle Eastern inspired — I had the pickles and dips (harissa and zhoug) with pitta which I’d recommend — freshly made, zingy dips and some pickled carrots, red onions and fennel. I followed that with the disco cauliflower. My waitress was lovely and helpful in recommending wine, and service was super efficient.

Pizza recién hecha con los mejores ingredientes y cocinada a la perfección 👌 Las luces de hadas se extienden por todo el restaurante y hay un ambiente muy agradable con un personal de camarero muy atento. Si viviera más cerca, estaría ahí todo el tiempo 😃

We've eaten at both of Maray's restaurants and really enjoyed both. We're not vegetarian but have chosen from the vegetarian options both times. The only downside of the dockside one was it was a bit noisy when busy, but that's probably just because I'm getting old!

Delicious 😋, fantastic food, great location. Had the disco cauliflower and the seabass, but beautiful cooked and full of flavour. Also tried the fig negroni, very nice. Service was fast and pleasant.

Excellent place to go for somthing different, we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of Maray. The prices are reasonable to. The food came out pretty quick and in no particular order, which wasn't the best as the carrots came out last after we finished everything else. I'd recommend upstairs as you get a good view of the dock, especially as it's going dark. We was a little disappointed the ox cheek wasn't available, but still enjoyed everything else.

Lots of delicious vegetarian options as well as a wide range of sharers. Mushroom shawarma, falafel sharer and crispy sea bass favourites this time - and disco cauliflower of course! Loved the cocktails - alcoholic and alcohol free as well. Our server was delightful and the atmosphere relaxed and convivial. We really enjoyed our rare night out together. Thank you!

Uni drop off had supper there, had to change the table as running late - helpfully moved for us. Waitress was absolutely lovely, ashamedly we didn’t get her name. Cocktails were delicious & great value @ 2 for £15. Our waitress explained the tapas menu & we ordered our feast. All of the food was fantastic but personal favourites were the whipped goats cheese, sea bass and cauliflower. We will be back next time we visit.

I love this place, it never lets me down and always dellivers. The welcome is warm and the food is delicious. The venue is both enchanting and romantic. And the menu is so good that I want to try everything.. Cheff is brilliant, and prices are reasonable .. thanks again to all at Maray.. well done .. I recomend anyone to come and eat here you won't regret it .

Love, love, love! Falafel sharer plate and ox cheek are so flipping good. Not to mention the local beers they have on tap. We sat outside (October) and it was mild enough to watch the world stroll past. A huge yes for this small but beautiful eatery!

Hyggelig sted og god service. Vi fikk maten innen 10 minutter etter bestilling. Alle fem spiste pizza, og alle var svært godt fornøyd. Litt vonde stoler og noe høyt lydnivå er eneste som trekker litt ned.

My Mum chose this restaurant for her birthday celebration and we all absolutely loved it, fantastic night location being within the dock, parking right outside. The menu was extensive, with some incredible flavours and covered all of our needs inc GF and Vegetarian. Even opted for all of the desserts to share around the table. Really lovely evening and excellent service, would highly recommend

Spectacular Sunday roast and wonderful service.

Maray Albert Dock is an amazing place, we recently completed a two night stay in Liverpool and were fortunate to find this restaurant. Our first visit was met with friendly and welcoming staff, fantastic atmosphere and a great choice of menu with well prepared tapas style food so good that we visited a second time.

So good we cancelled plans and went back for our second night in Liverpool. Every member of staff were lovely. The best food I’ve had in a long time. Nice atmosphere.

Crikey, this place is expensive! Portion sizes of food do not reflect the prices they charge. The Fried Chicken = 3 'tiny' pieces for £10 and 2 slices of Halloumi for £9 are you having a laugh! The food was fine, but certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone nor would I consider a repeat visit.

We had a gorgeous anniversary meal at Maray Albert Dock. We ordered the vegan small plates and every dish was lovely. Staff were very friendly and polite, service was quick and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely visit again.

Wow. First time visiting and wow. Food was amazing and super tasty. The whipped goats cheese and falafel where my stand outs. We had 3 plates each, pitta and drink for £60, so much more on the menu we would try.

Having worked in hospitality for 30 I can honestly say this is the worst restaurant I have ever experienced. Staff were rude , service was poor, over priced and food barely palatable . If they put the same effort into service rather than explaining why they are aren’t would be a start. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. I run a tapas and I would be ashamed to work here.

Another fantastic meal at Maray, service and food were excellent, particular in response to my gluten intolerance, my options were explained clearly, and oatcakes provided free of charge so I was able to enjoy dips etc. Can't fault it.

Genuinely some of the best tasting food I have had at a restaurant! Attentive staff and catered for all dietary requirements. Can't wait to go back!

This is the 4th branch of Rudy’s that I’ve eaten at, and I’m pleased to say that the experience was just as good as at the other branches. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window too. It was very busy on a Friday lunchtime, so definitely worth booking in advance if you can.

Was really disappointed as I had been looking forward to trying for ages. I was in Liverpool for a work conference so came for a dinner for one. The dip was dry, and the two main dishes came out with such a long time between them that I couldn't eat them together as the first one would have been stone cold. There was a big conference on in town so understandable the kitchen and staff were under pressure but it was disappointing as I'd heard such good things! Will give it another go another time.

Lovely food, friendly people and in a beautiful part of Liverpool. Highly recommend.

Loved everything about this place. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Food was delicious, particularly the disco cauliflower and the date bread and butter pudding. My friend had one of the spritz so much actually asked for the ingredients. Will definitely recommend and return.

Another great evening at Maray - the food is always so delicious (I never tire of Disco cauliflower or the halloumi!), the atmosphere great and the service very good. And I particularly appreciated my complimentary bottle of birthday fizz! Thank you so much.

Every item we got was a 5/5. Best whiskey cocktail I’ve had in all of the UK (old fashioned). Beautiful view whilst sitting outside. All waitstaff were super friendly.

A bit disorganised with being assigned our table but we were looked after at the bar as an apology. The restaurant waitress was excellent and helped us choose recommended dishes. Food was excellent. We over-ordered due to the many tempting choices on the menu. Would definitely recommend.

Shannon was such a lovely waitress, she made sure we enjoyed our food and always made sure we had drinks. The drinks were incredible and made by Eoin- thank you. The kitchen staff should also be thanked as the food was incredible. Would definitely come back!

A busy pizza restaurant that uses really good ingredients to make very tasty Neapolitan style pizzas. Open kitchen adds to the atmosphere but the restaurant was warm! Good value for well made, fresh pizzas. Very busy on a weekend evening so booking highly recommended.

Delicious pizza! Probably the best pizza’s we have eaten in years. Friendly service. Good wine. But not a place for a nice evening out. Kind of fast food restaurant. They served our pizzas within minutes after ordering. Too fast. All of the guests around you change equally fast.

Our meal at your restaurant at Albert Dock in Liverpool was delicious. Service was prompt and the staff who served us were most charming and helpful. The restaurant is in a very attractive setting, situated as it is the docks area of the city.

Very small portion. Have to wait for quite a long time. The restaurant didn’t have a proper steak knife. We were sitting upstairs, where there was very very minimal light. Not going back anymore

An excellent modern style Tapas bar on the Liverpool dockland waterfront. Very lovely, helpful staff and nice views over the dock. The food was excellent , if a little pricey. The individual dishes were a reasonable size (see photos ), but as is common in so many British tapas places,they just come out randomly. The date bread and butter pudding was amazing though.

Very different, but excellent small plates menu. Super selection of tasty Mediterranean/Middle Eastern dishes with excellent wine list, again with standout unusual wines. Excellent service, very relaxed lunchtime. If you like good but different food and tastes you should try Maray.

Food was unreal! Exactly what i was craving. I believe it was Safia that served us, super helpful and attentive! Definitely recommend.

Great restaurant with a large selection of vegetarian options. Special mention to the roasted cauliflower, which was insane! Definitely worth a visit if you love veggie tapas.

Went for lunch for mum’s 85th birthday- it was lovely- food was great (lunchtime offer fantastic value, great choices and generous portions) and amazing range of vegan and vegetarian options which is still rare for me to find.

I had the Cod Loin which was delicious. I was tempted by Isabelle’s recommendation of date pudding which was superb. All accompanied by a large glass of house white & a bottle of iced sparkling water. Perfecto! Carlos.

Great food, service and location

I visited Liverpool a couple of weeks ago and this restaurant was recommended to me by a colleague who used to live in Southport....please open near Bristol because otherwise I will have to drive an 8 hour round trip to visit again! And I would because the food, drinks and location are all top notch, yummy 😋

Meze and tapas style Lebanese/Med style restaurant. Excellent service complements the fabulous food which tastes best when shared with friends. Disco cauliflower is their signature dish which literally dances across your palette. Olives, hummus and flatbread are a great way to start. It was busy when we went, worth booking ahead but even with full covers services was still excellent and food arrived quickly. Superb.

Second visit here. service on the whole good, the girl seating folk looked rushed & harassed, not very smiley or friendly. Once seated, the waitress was friendly & very chatty. Food came freshly made & too hot to handle. Good sized portions. Would have preferred to have sat outside, however some outdoor tables not being used, despite still being laid for service. Hot & noisy inside. Although tables nicely spaced out.

Friend and I ate here prior to a concert at the M&S Arena. So pleased Maray was recommended. We loved the small plates menu and could have eaten all of them!. We chose 3 and they were excellent . Food service drinks et al all fab. Will definitely visit again.

The food here was extremely tasty, don't expect big portions but the quality made up for it, the roasted cauliflower was superb. Only downside was the table service it sadly wasn't great, seemed to be just one lady taking order, friendly and informative as she was, it took over 30mins before our order was taken and then we had to ask another team member who was cleaning tables, then we had to wait for the lady doing orders so around 40mins before ordering, we did nearly leave. We dined outside and seemed to have been forgotten, the table next too us also suffered, the same issue. The place was busy, the view over The Docks was lovely, great people watching area . I probably wouldn't eat here again, bit out of my price range and poor service, nice treat though.

The most over priced & pretentious restaurant in Liverpool. Tiny portions with huge prices. The lamb kofta is over cooked chewy meatballs & the chicken was undercooked bordering on inedable. I was served flavourless larger at extortionate prices and to add insult to injury they add extras to your bill that you didn't ask for such as bottles of water & unknown charity donations. Avoid.

Excellent restaurant serving imaginative food.The fixed price lunch at £18 was tasty and substantial.One meze and two small plates. The Lebanese white wine was very good.I do like to see a bottle of wine below £30,otherwise I drink tap water.

My review is based purely on first impressions. My friend and I arrived at approx 5pm and made our way to the desk to see if a table for 2 was available. There was a female member of staff at the desk and she totally ignored us. She was looking at the laptop, but I thought she may at least have engaged with us telling us she would be with us when she finished what she was doing. We stood there for about 5 minutes at which point it was getting a little awkward. She eventually looked up and I asked if they had a table available. She looked back at the laptop and then just said 5.45 pm. No conversation, no apology for making us wait. Due to feeling unwelcome we decided to try Madri around the corner. We had a totally different experience. Pleasant, welcoming staff who were really helpful and apologised for any wait as they were very busy. She may have been having a bad day …… but it’s possible we (as customers) we’re too, which is why we decided to eat out . Such a shame about the poor customer service as we’d heard good things about the pizzas.

We ate off the Vegan menu and it was superb. Staff were fantastic, nothing was any problem. We will return

My husband and I were visiting Liverpool with our 14-year-old grandson and came here for dinner. It was very busy, quite loud, and sadly for my husband with two bad knees, the toilets were upstairs! I enjoyed the Gavi wine, which is not often found on many menus. However, our triple pepperoni pizza was so thin crusted that my hubby had to go to Sainsbury’s later that night to pick up a sandwich! I have since heard from the restaurant that this pizza is their style, but he left hungry due to the thin crust on the pizza. Thank goodness I had ordered an appetizer of Campana which was fantastic, which included a variety of meat, garlic bread, and mozzarella cheese, along with a mixed leaf salad. So I had a great meal, but my husband left hungry, just something to bear in mind when you are ordering dinner that the pizzas are extremely thin here and will not fill you up unless you order other items on the menu to go with it. This is just my humble opinion. Grandson enjoyed the chocolate dessert! Our server was great. So some aspects of the visit were great, and other aspects were disappointing.

Cool and busy spot on the dock - lots of windows and views. We were seated promptly with reservations. Good service. We are pizza connoisseurs from the US and didn't have high expectations, but were really impressed. Great dough and quality toppings - we devoured 3 pizzas. Cute place and would totally return.

Had a great experience at Maray to celebrate graduation day with my fellow-students. The food was excellent, and the staff were very hospitable. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

This is the 2nd time we've eaten here and again the food & service was excellent Excellent pizza's served fresh & hot. Delicious thin bases with plenty of toppings lots of choices to select and great that they cater for different intolerances as well. Definitely recommend

The food is absolutely delicious and brilliant for vegetarians. The service was mixed. Our main server with the brown hair and glasses was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. On the other hand - not sure what was going on with the platinum blonde girl but she literally slammed our drinks and food down over the course of the evening and smiles were obviously not included. A very sour note in an otherwise lovely evening.

We visited for my daughters graduation on Friday 13th July. The food was excellent. Our waitress was amazing....she went above and beyond for us. She advised us on food and drinks. She was fantastic. We wish her good luck on her graduation this week!! Thank you 😊
