We always love our trips to Maray - the food and service is always excellent. However this occasion was made even more special by our server Zafia who was so warm and attentive. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our evening so wonderful.

We booked a table for six and were delighted to be seated upstairs on a round table in font of the window. Our waitress was very helpful, guiding us through the menu and advising on portions. The food was delicious and well proportioned. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

Second time going and didn't disappoint again. Recommend the sharer platter for the table. Some really good falafels. My favourite is the disco cauliflower

Just a magic place to eat: exciting small plates with fab service and wine is the way to do it. Just go there!

A very lovely place to eat on the dockside. The choice of food is fabulous and it makes a big difference to have such an inventive menu that is freshly cooked to order. If anything, the portions were too big but so very tasty. You must try the Disco Cauliflower.

Absolutely delicious small plates with a Middle Eastern Mediterranean vibe. A good selection of vegetarian food as well as fish and meat. Pleasant, informative, and friendly service; food comes as and when it's ready. We thought that we'd possibly over ordered but all our plates were clean when we'd finished!

Great little gem on the docks with great views. Daisy, the waitress was very attentive and took great care of us. Love the lovely reception when I arrived too. Food was good, could be a bit more moist all round (the cauliflower was great but everything tasted a bit too dry). Would love to sit upstairs next time I visit

Booked a table here for a birthday meal, got seated at a lovely spot upstairs overlooking the dock. We had a mezze sharer over the table, the pita was superb; quite stretchy and fresh. Whipped goats cheese and hummus with pomegranate went down far too easily. We had a cocktail, my dark and stormy was very good. The lamb and the ox cheek were impeccable - and between the sharing platter and a main, it was perfectly filling. To be on the safe side, there were fries - they come with a dollop of hummus which is a great addition. We did order the baklava cheesecake to take home, we weren't capable of finishing in house. It was relatively busy, but the service was great. One meal was a little late in coming out but then came with some free fries on the side to make up for it. Considering the sharer was 6.5 each and the mains were between 10 and 14 this place incredible for the price, the dock itself is beautiful at night and each of us agreed we would be back soon.

I made a group reservation at Maray for 15 of my colleagues after a very long and busy day. Maisie was so accommodating with time changes and my request for fast service. The service was incredible from everyone that waited us and the food was amazing! I made the booking because someone referred Maray to me and we were not disappointed. Every dish was delicious and served on time, together and hot even though they were full downstairs - something that isn't always the case with large groups. Everyone left happy and raving about the food. The location and atmosphere was also so cosy and beautiful. Can't recommend this place enough! Can't wait to go back.

The food is always exceptional at Maray. It's one of those rare places that even if you are vegan, you don't feel like you've missed out anything, but it also caters so well to meat-eaters (I eat meat but my partner is vegan). I've been multiple times now to both venues in Liverpool and I've never been anything less than delighted. The staff were also exceptional (Saturday 15th March) and nothing was too much to ask. Highly recommended 😁

We’ve heard about Maray for a while but never been until last night - we loved the tasty imaginative food dishes , the atmosphere of the restaurant and the great service. We will definitely come again . Thanks very much

Bonito lugar, el personal atento y educado de la gran pizza (aparte de un tipo que fue abrupto) Desafortunadamente encontramos la música de pipa un poco demasiado alta para hablar. Diciendo esto, sin duda recomendaría este lugar para comer.

One of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool.

We visited Maray for the first time for valentines. We had an amazing visit. The service and staff were just wonderful and helpful. We struggled to choose a wine and the staff were so helpful at offering suggestions and getting us a sample. The food was beautiful and we enjoyed every bite. Most of all we loved the vibe and atmosphere, it was the perfect combination of feeling like we were somewhere special, yet relaxed and not at all stuffy. We will be back very soon! Thank you for making our valentines magical.

fantastic dinning experience at a wonderfully vibrant restaurant. Serving fantastic food. Warm, friendly and professional staff. The vegan and vegetarian food is superb.

We had a nice meal here. Staff were friendly. Portions are on the small side, they do advise you to order 2-3 each. We had a starter and dessert so only had the one main which was fine and we were full. A bit on the pricey side considering they are small plates.

Fantastic food, drink and service from Chilla (hope i spelt it correctly). Went out to meet some friends for a late lunch and had a fantastic afternoon. Chill looked after us amazingly, helped with our food and wine choices and we would strongly recommend. Great place if you want a lazy afternoon eating and drinking

Really disappointed - I ordered the £55 family bundle from Rudy's through Deliveroo last night. Order placed at 20:15 and accepted by the restaurant - all seemed fine until 21:00 when I received a call from Deliveroo telling me that Rudy's had cancelled my order - some BS about a manage not able to approve it!!!! Really disappointed - no reasonable exceuse from Rudy's. I had to re-order using a more relaible competitor and finally got my Pizza's at 10pm! Thanks Rudy's for ruining my evening. Will no order from Rudy's ever again - Suggest you do the same!

Saímos para um passeio apenas para conhecer o local ( Albert Dock), pois estamos hospedados na porta ao lado ( Premier Inn). Logo de inicio demos de cara com a Rudy's que nos chamou muito a atenção. Demos a volta toda no porto e acabamos no Rudy's. Se não a melhor pizza da vida, está com certeza entre as top 3. Simplesmente maravilhosa. Atendimento muito cordial e preço honesto. Recomendamos para quem esteja em Liverpool e no Albert Dock

A lovely ambience with carefully prepared, delicious food which has been put together to create lovely dishes. Excellent service from a young lady who advised on food choices.

The meze and falafel platters are perfect for sharing. Beautiful setting at the Albert Dock. With 50% off vegan and veggie dishes midweek in January, this could be the best deal in Liverpool.

We went here because we saw it was vegetarian friendly and there was even 50% off on vegetarian and vegan meals in January! And then the food was just so amazing. It was a lovely combination of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food, great for sharing as well, because it were like 'mezze' and small plates. Also, the people were really kind and welcoming. I do recommend to reserve a table, because it's a popular place!

Sugli splendidi docks, locale piccolo ma confortevole, servizio giovane e sorridente. Dall'ingresso la vista del forno fa già capire che tira una buona aria di vera pizza napoletana....in effetti impasto e ingredienti soddisfano le aspettative, ottime tutte le versioni assaggiate, la bianca ai funghi, la classica capricciosa, la margherita con bufala. La mozzarella è davvero DOP... Prezzi onesti.

Quite a surprise finding this place, wasn't confident when ordering but the food was excellent. As it was Xmas eve afternoon then place wasn't full but I suspect it's good with more people! Staff were great.

Went last year for our anniversary (Don’t live in the area or in fact the country 🤣). Loved it so much that we booked again this year for our anniversary too. Lovely staff and great food & service. We’ll be back next year again too… 🥰

Really good place if you're going with a group! Had a booking for 8 people, with a range of dietary preferences and restrictions. Super easy to find food that worked for everyone, really tasty, good portion size. Group booking, so ordered in advance and food came very quickly (but we never felt rushed). Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

A large group of us visited Liverpool for the weekend and ended up with a table for 10 at Maray Albert Dock and another 8 at Maray in Bold Street. There were a few final number and meal order tweaks at very short notice, which the restaurants where very swift and accommodating. As it was mid-December it was super busy in both restaurants, so a pumping atmosphere with the odd moment of chaos. However, the service was absolutely excellent, all of the dishes were flavoursome and delicious and our only criticism was the portions were too generous. But next time we will starve ourselves for the day as it will be worth it.

This was a visit with colleagues. None of us knew each other well but the mezze food and good atmosphere made for a great environment for productive relationship building. Special shout out to Chloe who made us feel welcome and gave the impression of really caring for her customers.

We had a lovely evening. The welcome was great and the atmosphere ‘buzzing’. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, and service was timely. We thought the food was fabulous and we will definitely come again and strongly recommend Maray to others.

Fabulous food as always. We also had fab dirty martinis which were suggested by our server as they had a new pea vodka (who knew?). Service was excellent. I have forgotten the servers name but she was just so lovely and friendly. We were running late due to traffic which was stressful but we let them know and they told us not to worry as our table was being held. Couldn’t fault anything about our evening. Highly recommend

Great place to eat in Liverpool !

We had a fantastic evening meal here while staying in Liverpool. We shared 5 small plates, followed by desserts, and every single one was delicious. The service was friendly, welcoming and efficient, and the location on the docks was great.

What a great combination / fusion of tastes... it was so gooooood! Really nice staff too.

We stumbled upon this place at Albert Dock as we were exploring Liverpool. The smell coming out of the restaurant was delicious and we decided to come back in the evening for dinner. We did not get disappointed, the pizzas were extremely delicious, very authentically Italian, generous sizes and a very good price! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere lovely! Would definitely recommend for a romantic couple's Saturday night like ours

One of the best roast dinners. My daughter has eaten many times before. OMG the desserts are amazing, I personally thanked the chefs. I will definitely be back.

Brilliant food and very friendly staff!

Visited here on a Saturday night as a group of 7, when we arrived our table wasn't quite ready so we went to the bar next door and got a drunk which we were allowed to take into the restaurant. We sat upstairs, which was nice but it was quite hot, staff were nice and opened a window for us, so was fine. We were sure how many items to order, and asked the waitress for advice, she was really helpful and made some great recommendations. We ordered 3 dishes each, which varied in size. For me, the cauliflower dishes and the mushroom shwarma were outstanding. The sea bass was also amazing. I absolutely loved it here, and tried dishes I have never had before, I can't rate it highly enough. we had 3 people with allergies on the table and the staff were great with what they could order and overall was handled brilliantly. I will certainly be coming back next time we are in Liverpool!

Great venue, gorgeous food and wine and excellent service

Maray never disappoints and today’s visit was up to usual standard. Fabulous food flavours, all dishes were brilliant and I would sincerely recommend anything on the menu, especially the ‘vegie’ options. Service was excellent, all of the staff were efficient and charming. Maray, Albert Dock is definitely worth a visit.

Positive: Delicious food, probably the best I had in England. Nice staff. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Negative: The waitress immediately (before I even sat down) asked me if I want still or sparkling water, like it was free, it wasn’t, only when I was paying, I saw it’s 3 pounds.

Lovely little place, great food and service

Great and friendly place with a buzzy atmosphere. I walked in last minute without a reservation on a Friday night and they were very kindly able to accommodate me (though I’d recommend booking!). The food was delicious, Middle Eastern inspired — I had the pickles and dips (harissa and zhoug) with pitta which I’d recommend — freshly made, zingy dips and some pickled carrots, red onions and fennel. I followed that with the disco cauliflower. My waitress was lovely and helpful in recommending wine, and service was super efficient.

Pizza recién hecha con los mejores ingredientes y cocinada a la perfección 👌 Las luces de hadas se extienden por todo el restaurante y hay un ambiente muy agradable con un personal de camarero muy atento. Si viviera más cerca, estaría ahí todo el tiempo 😃

We've eaten at both of Maray's restaurants and really enjoyed both. We're not vegetarian but have chosen from the vegetarian options both times. The only downside of the dockside one was it was a bit noisy when busy, but that's probably just because I'm getting old!

Delicious 😋, fantastic food, great location. Had the disco cauliflower and the seabass, but beautiful cooked and full of flavour. Also tried the fig negroni, very nice. Service was fast and pleasant.

Excellent place to go for somthing different, we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of Maray. The prices are reasonable to. The food came out pretty quick and in no particular order, which wasn't the best as the carrots came out last after we finished everything else. I'd recommend upstairs as you get a good view of the dock, especially as it's going dark. We was a little disappointed the ox cheek wasn't available, but still enjoyed everything else.

Lots of delicious vegetarian options as well as a wide range of sharers. Mushroom shawarma, falafel sharer and crispy sea bass favourites this time - and disco cauliflower of course! Loved the cocktails - alcoholic and alcohol free as well. Our server was delightful and the atmosphere relaxed and convivial. We really enjoyed our rare night out together. Thank you!

Uni drop off had supper there, had to change the table as running late - helpfully moved for us. Waitress was absolutely lovely, ashamedly we didn’t get her name. Cocktails were delicious & great value @ 2 for £15. Our waitress explained the tapas menu & we ordered our feast. All of the food was fantastic but personal favourites were the whipped goats cheese, sea bass and cauliflower. We will be back next time we visit.

I love this place, it never lets me down and always dellivers. The welcome is warm and the food is delicious. The venue is both enchanting and romantic. And the menu is so good that I want to try everything.. Cheff is brilliant, and prices are reasonable .. thanks again to all at Maray.. well done .. I recomend anyone to come and eat here you won't regret it .

Love, love, love! Falafel sharer plate and ox cheek are so flipping good. Not to mention the local beers they have on tap. We sat outside (October) and it was mild enough to watch the world stroll past. A huge yes for this small but beautiful eatery!

Hyggelig sted og god service. Vi fikk maten innen 10 minutter etter bestilling. Alle fem spiste pizza, og alle var svært godt fornøyd. Litt vonde stoler og noe høyt lydnivå er eneste som trekker litt ned.

My Mum chose this restaurant for her birthday celebration and we all absolutely loved it, fantastic night location being within the dock, parking right outside. The menu was extensive, with some incredible flavours and covered all of our needs inc GF and Vegetarian. Even opted for all of the desserts to share around the table. Really lovely evening and excellent service, would highly recommend

Maray Albert Dock is an amazing place, we recently completed a two night stay in Liverpool and were fortunate to find this restaurant. Our first visit was met with friendly and welcoming staff, fantastic atmosphere and a great choice of menu with well prepared tapas style food so good that we visited a second time.

So good we cancelled plans and went back for our second night in Liverpool. Every member of staff were lovely. The best food I’ve had in a long time. Nice atmosphere.

Crikey, this place is expensive! Portion sizes of food do not reflect the prices they charge. The Fried Chicken = 3 'tiny' pieces for £10 and 2 slices of Halloumi for £9 are you having a laugh! The food was fine, but certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone nor would I consider a repeat visit.
