Ordered and paid for five things, only four arrived and two of them were the wrong pizza. Everything was completely cold. Cost nearly £70!

Went in for a spontaneous meal. From the garlic bread starter to the cheesecake, everything was delicious. The pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had before. Definitely be going again!

The food was alright, but service was definitely not. Got our food and were then ignored by the staff for the next 45 mins when trying to get drinks/the bill. It’s not a large place so this was blatantly intentional. They avoided eye contact and ignored us speaking to them and trying to flag them down. Then after we rushed out as we were running late due to the whole ordeal we realized we’d been overcharged by £10!!

Such a lovely cosy place! The pizza was just as good (if not better) than Rudy’s, which I thought was impossible until now ;)

We placed an order for 23 people for delivery on Friday 18th August. The team were excellent and very helpful. All the food arrived on time and was hot. Everyone was very complimentary about the pizzas which were delicious. There is a lot of choice in the menu including lots of options for vegetarians and vegans. Would highly recommend - thank you!

Ordered from deliveroo, I thought the pizza was a touch on the pricy side but I didn't mind if the quality would be good. But it arrived cold I mean freezing cold. It looked amazing! The taste was bland the dough was definitely undercooked having eaten the real thing in Italy, I know this should have had a crispy base. The flovour was also very poor. I hate giving bad reviews has I know how this could effect a buisness but come on guys it was almost zero effort cold food and the guy walked up my street did he walk all the way from your shop?? I will say the garlic bread we ordered was a solid thre out of five.

Start to finish the experience was great. The food was lovely and the service was friendly and quick. We dropped in and ordered a takeaway but still could not fault the visit. Will definitely go back for either a takeaway or even sit in an see if they can surpass the 1st experience

I must have tried every "proper" pizza place in Liverpool by now, and I can comfortable say that Little Furnace (Smithdown Rd) is the best one by far. The pizza has consistently been amazing every time (authentically cooked fresh inside a massive pizza oven) , and the servers have been nothing short of helpful. Always filling whatever request we have. The restaurant itself is a little awkward to get to by car as it sits on a busy main road, but the little residential side roads have unrestricted parking. Inside is a little cramped with there only being a select few booths to sit in, but in my opinion this adds to the overall atmosphere and reminds me of a small pizza place in Naples. I have to add that the Little Furnace in the Baltic Market has nothing on the actual restaurant and I implore anyone wanting to try Little Furnace to skip the market and go proper at the Smithdown Road venue.

Brilliant pizzas and friendly staff. We ordered takeout and were asked to return in 15 minutes, spot on.

A small business that surprised us probably the most from our weekend in England. We ordered a truffle oil pizza which was delivered to the table within 2 minutes of ordering!! I watched the entire preparation, which took place at lightning speed in the stone oven. The taste of the pizza was excellent, I wish this business was also here in the Czech Republic. Thanks again!

Cracking wee place with DELICOUS food, insanely fast service and a great wine list too. Seriously a must.

Our first time here trying their Neapolitan pizza, it was very tasty, good flavours and fresh, fair prices aswell. I like the way they prepare it it's very proper and traditional, they use a fire oven with wood which gives a particular taste, delicious. Only thing I wished is that they put some herbs into the tomato sauce, its plain tomatoes, but I guess that's their style.

Pizzas were great, was so cool to see them being made right in front of you as well! Staff were super nice too :) only thing, tho not really an issue was that the seats were a little uncomfortable

Absolutely top-notch service and food. After a bit of a nightmare with the Deliveroo system, the staff at Little Furnace were more than helpful in aiding us resolve the issue and providing us with 11 pizzas, despite being extremely busy. They truly went above and beyond in their service. Oh, and the food was amazing too. Best pizza in Liverpool! Couldn’t recommend this place more 👏🏼

Once again; restaurant standard. Arrived in a timely manner and holey moley!! Was immense. I ordered one of the vegan pizzas. Was loaded with salted aubergine and brocolli. Added a request for extra vegan "mozzarella" which they obliged and piled on. My friend ordered a margerita..he was suitably impressed - and he's a chef! One of the best pizzas around Liverpool. Awesome. Five stars 🌟

My absolutely favorite pizza in Liverpool. I love their vegan pizzas for amazing sauces. Most places use bad quality vegan cheese on pizza. In little Furnace they just use sauce and it taste so good.

The Little Furnace is a little gem on Smithdown Road. Staff all very friendly and the roasting wood burning hot pizza oven at the back gives it a great atmosphere. It does get hot, so maybe sit closer to the door (and air con) if you aren't a fan of the heat! I had the Sicilian Death Wish and it was very tasty, I would have enjoyed a bit more spice, but I'm sure it's spicy enough for others.

Holy moly! Had this pizza at their Baltic Market location and it was AMAZING. They use 00 flour for their handmade dough, and it really shows

Reading the reviews I was expecting a tasty, authentic Italian wood fired pizza. Instead, the dough was not great and the ham was certainly not an Italian ham. An average pizza especially if you have tasted a pizza in Italy before.

Really good pizza. Been going here for years and the only problem is that every few months the garlic aioli gets worse and smaller.

Authentic pizza, best I've had in Liverpool. My 1st visit after, the pizza could of done with a few more minutes in the oven but that's my personal preference and will ask for this next time Garlic bread with cheese was also amazing.

Great pizza! With fresh ingredients

This used to be the most incredible pizza in Liverpool, and perhaps far further afield too. I write this review not to disparage the business, but in the hope that they might be encouraged to rescale the lost heights. Neapolitan dough should be pillowy and floppy, not stiff and tough. It used to puff up with giant airholes and a springy texture, but now it rises little and can be hard to swallow. Most upsettingly, as they were a personal favourite of mine, the cheese on the garlic bread tastes artificial and like the American commercial pizza chains, and are now devoid of the seasoning and drizzle of oil that used to make then so sublime. I really hope that the quality can be reviewed and positive changes made, as the last five or six orders have been so disappointing and one cannot keep hoping.

Such a great wee spot I've just ordered a pizza and although you can only have it take away its 110% worth it I had the calabrian pizza served up by two cool lovely people a boy and girl and you can just have it next door in the bar which is also awesome. Thoroughly recommend for any solo adventurers like myself put there who need a good scran served with a great smile

Top quality pizza. Really authentic Neapolitan style with lots of topping. One of the best if not the best in Liverpool. Fennel sausage is absolutely brilliant.

By far the best pizza in Liverpool! Ordered 2 pizzas online via Deliveroo. Came super quick, really fresh, nice and hot, tasted amazing. One meat free and one with meat. We both agreed that it was one of the best pizzas we’d ever had. Recommended.

It's the tagline you'll get with every inner city Italian restaurant in America, complete with red chequered tablecloths and sticky, oversized pepper grinders, but im just writing this for a laugh.Genuinely, it's the best pizza I've had in liverpool. Always top ingredients. Every pizza cooked individually by one man and his pizza shovel. If you can, go there and dine in. It's tiny. Four tables. Great atmosphere and a real, wholesome experience. Top notch.

We have just had the tastiest pizza from here. SO NICE!! and whilst we were waiting the lovely man gave our dogs 2 big plates of ham. Amazing food and amazing customer service.

I have ordered takeout a few times now from Little Furnace, and every time, the pizzas have been super tasty. I usually order the classic margarita pizza as well as the mushroom pizza with truffle oil, and I have not been disappointed yet! Thin crusted goodness :)

Excellent wood fired pizza - certainly the best we've had in Liverpool (and I've had a lot worse in Italy!). Also be sure to get the cheesy garlic bread.

Best pizza in Liverpool if you want a real napoleon pizza then little furnace is the place. Forget your Rudy's in town and other chains this place is the real deal. These guys know how to make a real pizza from Italy. I have spoken to lots of people from Italy here In liverpool and they say nothing comes close to little furnace. Do it and let your taste buds decide...

Decided to dine here on a whim whilst driving through Liverpool. It was quiet but the atmosphere was delightful. I loved that the furnace was open so you could see your pizza being cooked, and we sat near enough that the heat of the fire was wonderful after the rain outside. Service was prompt and the food was made very quickly. The quality of the pizzas was superb, it all tasted very fresh. Normally the crusts of the dough are something I tend to leave, but these were so soft and delicious that I finished the whole thing. I definitely recommend getting the aioli dip to make it absolutely perfect definitely recommend for a quick evening bite, but it isn’t very big so I wouldn’t bring the whole family. 10/10 from us!
