Al Dente Restaurant & Bar in Liverpool

First time, called in for late lunch. Usually start at top of Lark Lane but saw this place on way in. What a find! Brilliant lunch fixed price menu, food being excellent, good portions sizes and lovely presentation. The staff are really friendly and attentive. We will certainly be back again. 👌

We had dinner yesterday with my partner I ordered King proem linguini my partner order pizza , I now the place use to be one of good restaurants but yesterday’s food wasn’t good , the pizza looks from shop it’s cold , main don’t test good sometimes missing we not even finish the meal we left, when I get home I start vomiting, I have been sick all night so I give 1 star

Beautiful food, starters: garlic butter prawns crostini, parma ham bruschetta, steak and houmous mains: pepperoni pizza with olives , rocket and red onion as extras; lamb chops; bbq chicken pizza All absolutely delicious, service great, very nice smiley staff, went extra mile to make cocktail of my choice not list2d on the menu 5 Thumbs up from us Walker Family

Good portion sizes, food was good and staff friendly.....it is a vibrant and busy place.

Wow what can I say. That lamb shank almost defeated me. Wasn't room for pudding, but worth it. Great place, friendly staff and delicious food.

Me and my friends came for a birthday meal, service was decent and staff all friendly. However food was not up to standard my friend got food poisoning from the seafood linguine and was very unwell. Carbonara and chicken Alfredo was incredibly oily with oil visibly all on the plate. Disappointing as the restaurant has potential but the food just wasn’t up to standard.

Exceeded my first expectation, friendly staff ,good food and presentation, although music was a noch higher than I would like other than that very much recommended

Place looked lovely inside, menu looked great, food looked great...just lacked flavour.

Steak was nice. Houmous OK. Others in the group weren't happy with their mains, in particular the Lasagne. My steak was fine though! Staff were really nice and accommodating. Really warm in there. It was a relief to go on the terrace for air! Food served really quick. I'd go again based off my main being nice and how great the staff were.

Waitress was lovely I swear she had a photographic memory there was 8 of us and she took the orders in her mind and didnt write it down food and service was very good

Really lovely long lunch with family - and two dogs - at Al Dente today. Food was lovely and portions good - Sea Bass was really delicious! Relaxed atmosphere, service was attentive and spot on, all staff were excellent and so friendly. They made a big fuss of the pooches (who loved the heated floor for lounging on!) which was good to see. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!

Took my wife, daughter and granddaughter and mother in law for lunch. Food was excellent, staff were lovely.

Had a salt and pepper king prawns and pan fried salmon with a lovely bottle of rosé , loved every bite. Will definitely go back. Very friendly staff and great service.

Čo sa týka jedla nemôžem povedať nič zlé, ale čo sa týka obsluhy som sklamaná. Nie raz sa mi stalo, že obsluha bola odmeraná, nepríjemná, sotva pozdravila. Objednala som si pizzu, nevedeli ani zavolať, že si po ňu môžem prísť. Bol problém s online objednávkou, ani sa neozvali, zistila som to až keď som si osobne prišla po pizzu. Komunikácia nula bodov. Cítila som, že ich otravujem.

Marked atmosphere down because when we first visited there was a dog in the restaurant that just wouldn't stop barking, this spoilt our dining out evening. It was hard to be heard when talking to each other over the barking.

Me and my husband had a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary this evening. The staff are very friendly and the food tastes amazing.

Randomly found and tried this resturant on a thursday night in Liverpool .. top marks on every level, lovely place, great menu , food was quick and top notch . Staff couldnt have been nicer.. Great value also. genuinely cant take a single mark away from it.

Amazing atmosphere, very family friendly and food is delicious

Had a lovely meal here today. I'm on a restricted diet and they served just what I asked for. Generous portion of Broccoli, perfectly steamed, salad was fresh and not overdressed, minty lamb burger no chips, no bun, and a delicious macciato coffee to finish. It was a tad too noisy for me, but everywhere seems unable to resist piped Muzak! I definately recommend this restaurant to all who enjoy vegetables and salad treated with respect.😂

The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. It was our friends birthday and they made her feel extra special with cake and singing happy birthday. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again soon - thank you!

Really lovely pizza. Someone at the next table got the roast lamb which looked heavenly. I say that as a veggie for the past 20 years. Great service, really friendly. Nice patio to sit out on and watch the world go bye.

We had a fabulous meal celebrating our daughters 18th birthday. The food was delicious, service amazing and a wonderful atmosphere. It is something small but I appreciated it, the waitress remembered who was having what meal these little things are so important. Thank you so much!!! Highly recommended.

Only came in for a drink, after work, such lovely staff behind the bar! Overfilled my fizzy drink and spilled some, the bar tender just gave me another without any fuss. The restaurant is a great space, airy, light, not too packed in. It was busy for a Monday night which is a good sign. I'm definitely coming back to try the food.

Went there coronation Sunday, the weather was lovely so they had the roof open, the food was amazing, the staff are lovely and friendly, with a really great atmosphere, went with two lovely friends of ours had such a great day. On our experience there I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and service didn't like the fact they have a service charge they don't tell you about unless you notice on the bill which we didn't and left a £30 TIP SO ALTEGETHER WE TIPPED £70 + WILL NOT DINE THERE AGAIN AND WE GO OUT AS A FAMILY GROUP OF 14 And everybody was shocked when we realised we were charged £40+ on top of the bill disgusted

Celebrated big birthday with family 29/4/23 lovely warm welcome servers were lovely very attentive. Enjoyed the meal from starter to main course so a big shout out to chef/chefs. Beautiful restaurant homely & warm atmosphere definitely will be back 👌🏻

1st time visiting for Lucy's 20th Birthday staff couldn't have done anymore and the food was absolutely outstanding is I could give more than 5* I would the TOMAHAWK monster steak was cook to perfection. Thankyou Avvi and the team..

I've never been here before - probably because it's at the far end of Lark Lane. The food was fabulous, well presented and the staff/owners were very hospitable. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice restaurant. Staff brilliant they make sure you have am enjoyable time They make a fuss of you if you're celebrating anything special and get the whole restaurant to celebrate with you. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was having to eat outside where it was really cold. But it's our fault as we didn't book a table. We ate their 3 times within 10 days. HIGHLY RECOMENDED
