Had the "full big breakfast". Very very nice indeed. Perfectly cooked, reasonably priced and the coffee was spot on.

Drove by, by chance and wow we weren’t disappointed super quick service we had two small breakfasts and the portion size was very generous. Thank you. Served with smiles. Very comfy atmosphere and one of the best breakfasts we’ve had!!! Enjoy!

Been in a few times for breakfast before going into Keswick, good quality food and price, plenty of choice, service ok but don't remember the music being so loud, although that could be an age thing, spoilt the atmosphere a bit for me.

My team have had breakfast at the Filling Station twice and this week chose it as our venue for Christmas lunch over some other lunch options in Keswick. The variety in the menu is second to none, the food has been good value, a good size and good quality. We've all always been happy, so we go back. The coffee is excellent too, my mocha was special 👌🏻 Not to mention the staff who have been particularly friendly and welcoming, and have gone out of their way to accommodate our large group. We'd definitely go back again and have enough evidence to confidently recommend 👍🏻

Excellent breakfast in a relaxed friendly cafe

Called in this morning after an Appointment at the Keswick hospital. Had a bacon sarnie and a mug of tea delicious.

Always a great place to stop for a coffee and cake. Good atmosphere and friendly staff, nearly always someone to talk to. One of my favourite coffee shops.

I have visited here many times, on this occasion I ordered the Breakfast Stack with maple syrup over the top. To say it was delicious is an understatement, it was absolutely Scrumptious, layers of pancakes with sausage, bacon, fried egg, and mushrooms, it will definitely fill you up and is a challenge to conquer, it lasted me all day. Great Staff and a fantastic place to dine and have a break, their selection of coffees are good too, I enjoyed the Mocca. 👍

Our first visit. It was really great. Glad we arrived for an early lunch as the place filled up quickly. Seating outside provided the weather is suitable.

Had a fantastic breakfast here on the way back from holiday. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, especially the breakfast pancake stack!

Great biker hang out staff Great and food amazing

We called in for a late breakfast on our way through Keswick. We ordered two large full English breakfasts and two coffees. The food was good, with two fried eggs which were cooked to perfection and were very tasty. The Cumberland sausage served was made with quality meat from a butcher. The coffee was amazing too. The staff were also very friendly and professional. We will definitely call back to sample more of the food the next time we are passing.

The filling station is a must visit if travelling through Keswick, situated on the outskirts, just as you enter down into the town, is a regular stopping place for cyclists/motorcycles & car clubs... Through the summer months I regularly visit, especially on the bike nights for a pleasant evening, and great food!.. from breakfast to dinner, they cater for all 😀

Nice atmosphere but the black filter coffee was just bitter and rubbish. Didn't stay for food.

Lovely venue, decent food but the young lady serving was not as friendly as the usual lady there .. plus no eggs benedict till after 11 am was very disappointing .

Food here is excellent, plenty of choice. Great breakfast/brunch menu. This was our first visit in a couple of years, as the cafe has been closed for a while and has new owners now. The pancakes were fantastic, I had mine with crispy bacon and maple syrup. Really good. Can be very busy at weekends and is popular with bikers so pick when you come as it’s quite small. Outside seating is good in fine weather. One of our favourite stops when in Keswick. It’s a 10 minute walk from town through Fitz Park alongside the river. The only downside here is parking, there are 3 or 4 off road spaces, or you have to park on the road, again it does get busy. Staff were super friendly and chatty as well.

Pull up on your bike and have a fantastic meal . The staff are wonderful. The vibe from like-minded bikers makes the place feel like a community .

Perfect burgers, milkshakes, and big and fluffy pancakes. We found out that we were the first to get the homemade patty in their burgers and hope that they carry on doing them this way. It was obvious from the appearance that it was a proper homemade patty and in a different league to any recent burger we’ve had in terms of taste and texture. Brill staff and great cost/quality ratio. Same sort of price or mildly cheaper than everywhere else but soooo much better.

I am always sceptic when I see “American pancakes” or milkshakes on any menue since we moved. I can say without a doubt that the pancakes here are some of the best I have ever had!!!!! And certainly the best I have had outside of the US! My daughter got the milk shake and was a little nervous when she ordered it because American milk shakes always have ice cream and milk and are thick, this one exceeded expectations!!!!! While the food was out of this world! It was the atmosphere and the people that were working that made this experience so notable!! From the moment you walk into the front door you are welcomed so warmly and with so much kindness!!!! If you are traveling to or through the Lake District this needs to be added to your place to go!

Really friendly staff, and a good menu

Quite disappointed with our visit today! First of all the service was terrible. Went into a dirty table and seats, I was passed a spray bottle and blue roll when I asked if the table could be wiped over. (I didn't actually mind this but it just got worse). Went to order our food and drinks and the couple 'serving' were more interested in flirting with one another rather than serving their customers. We witnessed other customers coming in to be served but the couple had sat themselves at a table oblivious to the people waiting to be served and when they eventually realised they were just giggly and immature. The young girl serving food from the kitchen had zero people skills, she just slammed the food down on the table like she was in a bad mood and didn't utter a word. The food is normally good here, it's our go to place normally but today the food wasn't even that nice either and overall our experience was just terrible. The toilet was also filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned recently. It's massively gone downhill in our opinion and we probably wouldn't go back after today's experience. The problem is I think places like this don't really care about their local regulars because they have so much passing trade from tourists so if they have a rubbish experience and don't go back it wouldn't bother them cause there'll always be other tourists.

The big breakfast is possibly one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. All local produce cooked to perfection, the black pudding was especially good. Friendly service every time.

This place never fails to impress, I have been back 3 times over the course of my travels and I am always left completely satisfied

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, didn’t judge me when I asked for maple syrup on my sausage egg and bacon on pancakes with icecream and where very nice. Would definitely try here again. Food tasted amazing (I’m pregnant don’t judge my taste) the person I went with liked there waffle also and would agree it’s a great place to visit

The filling station was a place I always wanted to go to when visiting the Lakes,Hubby had a hot dog with chips and I ordered Southern fried chicken fillets with Homemade chips,my Hubby enjoyed his food but mine was not very nice the Fillets were burnt or cooked in dirty oil,the chips were skin on and tasted like they was reheated. Not enjoyable at all,however I understand it's a favourite with bikers,just don't try the chicken fillets.

Great ride out to The Filling Station Cafe. Excellent food at very reasonable prices, served with a friendly smile. Top that off with some biker talk- what's not to like! We'll be back to this friendly welcoming spot! 😄

Came just after 3(close at 4) kitchen not open. Such a shame as we came 40 mins out of route to try due to the hype. From 2 hungry unhappy travellers :(

Go here on a regular basis and think it's a great place, food is great, staff are excellent, they are always good craic and helpful. Can easily recommend this little spot as I know you could not be let down. Sorry I can only give 5* worth more. Keep up the great work and see you all soon again

Great place, really friendly, turned up not knowing they were supposed to be finished for the day and they served me a coffee and cake without mentioning it.

Got here and had to wait to be served. By the time I was served they told me the kitchen was shut. If I'd been served when I walked in I'd have gotten lunch. Won't be coming back

We had such a nice experience here. We went in for a spot of late breakfast on a very rainy day. Our lil soaked pup was welcomed with loving arms. Super friendly and welcoming. I had the Berry compote pancakes and my partner had the full English and both had coffees. I had an oat latte myself. 10/10 service, atmosphere, food, all lovely! Will definitely be back. Absolutely lovely pancakes and waffles, both with bacon & Maple syrup. Very filling. Decor and staff were great! Limited number of café carpark spaces but plenty of free street parking available. Thought we'd try the place out but looking forward to fetching the kids next time! Plenty of seating inside and put. I can imagine that it gets very busy during the summer months.

Try to go whenever I go to Keswick, this time just me and Beth and two dogs! Food is always excellent especially the sausage sandwich!

We called in a couple of times for lunch and breakfast whilst on holiday nearby and both were excellent. They actually did fried bread(a favourite of mine) with the breakfast, not seen that on a menu for years so big thumbs up for that! The place was spotless and the staff were very friendly. We'll definitely be going back next time we're in the area.

Visited for the first time today with our two dogs for breakfast.Ordered the pancake breakfast stack and bacon roll with a few sides ..pancakes were amazing ,good size portions and quality produce..friendly staff and nice atmosphere..we will definitely return.
