Nice friendly staff, first time in this bakery. Bought bread which was excellent and a carrot cake slice, which was a bit dry, but overall very nice local shop.

We visited silloth on Monday 19th June and found a lovely little bakery. Very basics but food was lovely. Shop was clean and tidy. They sell the best fruit tea cakes ive ever tasted. The member of staff was very pleasant and answered some questions i had. She pointed us in the direction of the beach and was very helpful

Loved this place, from rolls to pastrys loved it all. Only downside seems to open late for a bakery but well worth it.

Bought a cheese slice from here a couple of days ago it wasn't very nice and for £1.60 I certainly won't be returning. It seemed old, full of air and the cheese paste tasted cheap

This is a nice, traditional baker’s shop with an excellent selection of breads, cakes, and splendid pies. Just the job for an impromptu takeaway lunch to have on the adjoining Silloth Green.

Unfortunately there was not much selection and what was available looked like a school canteen. The children are avid bakers and left some of the cake they bought. The service also was less than desired

Popped into this wee bakery for something nice with a cuppa and I was surprised to find they serve yummy savoury pies, take away tea and coffee too. Bread is baked fresh every day and their buns and traybakes are right up my street, BIG slices. The day I was in they had a few beautiful cupcakes available, each with a sprinkling of edible glitter, which I can't resist, (I think that comes from my childhood when eating glitter was definitely not an option). I bought a big slice of carrot cake, moist, flavoursome, delicious. Well worth a visit for a quick bite for lunch or for something nice for your afternoon tea. Treat yourself to a fresh, (non cotton wool, mass produced tasteless), loaf while you're there. You won't be disappointed, scrumptious!

we went on holiday to silloth as we have been doing for the last 17 years, so we are used to visiting the local shops however even though we visit berry and sons to get our beautiful blackcurrent tarts, we were amazed when we visited a tea shop in silloth that did the most amazing blt (bacon lettuce and tomato) we loved the bread sooooo tasty, on asking where they get their bread from we should have known, it was berrys, we booked 2 GI loaves to return home together with the blackcurrent tarts, in our opinion no one does blackcurrent tarts like they do! i love this bakery they are so obliging and helpful even made me 2 GI barm cakes to try, shame we only visit once a year but its a must for locals

We went for lunch and ordered the marsala 'meatballs' and mezze platter. Both were excellent and we would be happy to recommend either to anyone. The coffee and cakes were also excellent as was the Brooklyn lager. In contrast to a previous review, the toilets were sparkling clean and very well designed. Our welcome and service was superb and together with the high quality of the food made our visit one to remember with pleasure. Thank you.

Good vibe in the evening, polite staff and amazing food. I had the fish in butter with garlic, hubby had lamb burger and daughter pulled pork. All very tasty and we would put this as our favourite restaurant in Keswick.

Main courses were delicious, the only big let down were the deserts, Nutella sundae with whipped cream, it isn't a sundae without ice-cream and sticky toffee pudding with whipped cream, when stated on menu vanilla ice-cream , with no discount because of alternative, should of came out to say they had run out of ice-cream

Visited here at lunchtime looking for an all day breakfast and we weren’t disappointed. The full all day breakfast comes with tea or coffee and orange or apple juice. My other half didn’t want juice so they allowed us to have two teas and I had the other one as part of my breakfast that didn’t come with drinks included. The tea cam in mugs with the teabag in which allowed us control over the strength of the beverage. They also supplied a little China bowl to put the discarded tea bag in. The staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. The food was cooked fresh and well presented. The cakes and scones on display looked delicious although we didn’t indulge. Maybe next time.
