Didn't have what we wanted on the menu

Full English 7 and drinks 7 cheaper than bob and berts and as I don't like beans they offered me something else as bob and burts didn't and it was alot better quality than most places and a decent portion size 😀 also the ladies in there go the extra mile to look after you 😀 and a special shout out to the shop manager who's customer service is something was possibly the best I've ever received 😀 I couldn't of been happier with the place for it's quality of food and quality of customer service 😀

The best curry ive had in a while perfect

Great home cooked food and very friendly staff. Wife opted for cheese pie and chips, I had full English (super size) . All cooked to order and of the best quality. Very generous portions and reasonably priced. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Looking forward to our next visit to try some of the other items on the menu. Desserts are great too. Highly recommend.

Not been here for a number of years so decided to go last night with some friends. I had mixed grill which was very dry and tasteless so I left most of it. Others didn't like there food so we won't be going back.

Poor attitude, service and food.

Honestly one of the worst takeaway experiences I’ve ever had. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was shocking. Ordered from just 0.8 miles away and it somehow took nearly 3 hours to arrive. I called the restaurant over 20 times — they either ignored it or picked up to give false promises. First time they answered, they said it would be 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, I called again, and then it finally showed up. When it eventually arrived, the food was an absolute joke. Everything tasted like it had been sitting around and just reheated. The fried chicken was dry, greasy, and borderline inedible. The kebab meat? Easily some of the worst I’ve ever had — chewy, flavourless, and just felt cheap. Total waste of time and money. Won’t be ordering again.

We had a lovely lunch at the punch bowl hotel, sat in the beer garden. The new manager is kind and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Love this place and the people are so kind

We have been coming to the quiz on Thursday for about a year now. We loved when Petra did the quiz and got friendly with the bar staff at this point. Petra left and Stuart took over and the quiz is still amazing as ever. Caitlin, Charly and Georgia are amazing behind the bar and always go above and beyond for us as a group and always make us feel welcome when we come in to do the quiz. Keep up the good work team ❤️❤️

As someone who struggles to go into to places on my own, I felt so at ease here, coffee was perfect, food even better. I didn’t catch her name but the short blonde/brown haired young girl who served me was so lovely, I wish I had her name so she could get the recognition she deserves. All 3 employees were quite young, a boy and 2 girls. They seemed to enjoy working together yet stayed professional when talking to customers. I really enjoyed my time here so thankyou to the young lady that served me.
