Great service, friendly staff, great tunes while you're waiting and very tasty food at a reasonable price, five out five for me.

Awful. Ordered takeaway. Ordered a 'chicken kebab' with lettuce and chilli sauce. Got a box of dry chicken full of onions and no sauce. A separate pita bread that was rock hard Chips and cheese were completely soggy.

Not had Pizzas from here for couple of months, Wow forgot how good they are. Excellent food and excellent service.

After reading the reviews we were concerned at ordering. But to our delight the pizzas and garlic bread are delicious. Delivery driver was both professional and polite. Will definitely use again and recommend.

Parking outside the shop needs to be sorted! Causing havoc within the busy Main Street. Your own delivery driver parks directly outside the shop even when it’s night time and there is plenty places to park across the street where parking is actually legal. We have just drove past, and your delivery driver is parked directly outside the shop and then following him was 4 other cars all the way down the street. Again causing havoc to the point where a bus driver was struggling to get through. May I add where your delivery driver. parks is single yellow line.

Just moved into area and first time trying absolutely lovely food even for fussy kids only criticism is kebab meat coukd of been a bit more well done but that's just preference really enjoyed though thank you 😊

We phoned to have chicken kebab and chips delivered locally. The food was delivered within an hour and was hot and fresh … plus the portions were a decent size. The chips are proper chip shop chips - delicious! 10/10 great job.

Staff are very unfriendly in fact they’re quite rude the food I honestly wouldn’t feed my dog I can’t believe it’s the only takeaway and pizza shop in town. I have to travel all the way to Morecambe or Lancaster to get a decent takeaway I can’t believe the other shop seems to be closed down. Yes they were very expensive, but the food was quality sizzle inn you should be ashamed of ourselves serving such low quality food.

Tried here on way home, looking for anything open.was not disappointed, the mixed kebab ( to me was enormous) friendly team,polite,courteous. Definitely going again, had kebab for my breakfast too. 👍

Saw the bad reviews but thought we would give it a chance. Ordered a take out on a Monday night at just gone 6pm for delivery. Was told it would be about an hour, after an hour and half I called back, told it would be 20 minutes. It’s now been over two hours so we have given up and made ourselves dinner. I’m sure given the responses from the establishment there will be some kind of excuse but we did call and were given no reason or apology. Update - arrived after 2.5 hours. We had already eaten so declined the order.

Great Kebab House! We have been twice now whilst visiting the nearby Lake District as we use Carnforth as a stopover. Sizzle in is our favourite kebab shop in England, great taste at cheap prices! We order Chicken and Doner kebab and both don't leave you with that "thirsty feeling" the morning after either. Perfect.

Ngl if I could give this place a negative 1 I would and that's being kind it took 20minutes for someone to serve me with zero customers in store as they was nattering about and so behind on others food even forgot to pack certain items for a phone order even the delivery driver was ranting how nothing was ready yet. Their chips are absolutely awful I've never known chips to be like cardboard plus have no flavour even the burger I asked for ketchup on and salt on the chips nothing was put on but a peice of red onion on my flavourless burger I could've cooked better in the sahari desort. Waited almost 1hour for some sausage and chips once awful waste of money and no need for such a slow service sorry but how do chips come out paler then my anemic arm and have 0 taste at the same time I don't usually complain but 2nd time going giving the benifit of the doubt and the chips I cannot express how bad they are it's like their cooked in water. Also looking the reviews how is it professional to reply back like your arguing with your 12 year old friend also cannot stand critissm and we all seem to be wrong? Or lying and the amount of bad reviews pretty sure the judge would throw the book at you. Whoever owns this place needs to sort it out

A bit greasy for me! I had chips and a veggie pizza.

This was our first time ordering from you guys and to be honest it’s quite disappointing, the chips are soggy and mushy with no red salt even though it was requested, the pepperoni pizza is just oil, the donner meat and grilled chicken chunks tasted good but the salad underneath the hot meat just boiled, for a £40 order I’m quite gutted that the money ended up being wasted this ‘ meal’ was not completely edible. I don’t expect a refund just take advice from the complaints you receive.

We ordered a thin base tuna,prawn,cheese and red onion pizza and chips. The pizza was one of the best pizza we have had from anywhere in a long time. Very reasonably priced. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Well done, Next time we are up we will definitely be calling in again.

Ordered mixed Kebab with salad. Kebab was nice however the salad was awful. 2/3 of salad was just a load of onions and then topped up with some lettuce !! Nothing else. Completely spoilt what would have been a nice takeaway.

Have been getting takeaway from Sizzle Inn for a few years and the food is always lovely. I've not reviewed before but tonight I feel I have to. I placed our usual order but ordered an extra portion of chips with salt and vinegar, then it dawned on me, there were chips in the other meals and one of us is gluten intolerant so had to leave a note to specify NO VINEGAR GLUTEN INTOLERANT on one of the meals. The reason for the review..... They were straight on the phone to me to advise that a part of the meal had wheat as it's binding agent. Fantastic service. Fantastic staff. Fantastic food.

This being one of the only kebabs in the area I’m highly disappointed… the kebab meet was chewy and has a rubbery texture as tho it’s been left out for years! The chips on the other hand were alright.. the sauces which came with the kebab (chilli and garlic Mayo) were extremely nice, however the price of the kebab, and portioning size of it was terrible

I ordered as take out .. was very disappointed ordered 3 burgers 2 chips and 2 kebabs. Where do I start .. the kebab was horrible tiny portion and was chewy and rubbery; definitely is not what I would class as a kebab. The chicken kebab was nice but such a tiny portion for £7.50 which is stupid for 4/5 bits of chicken. The chips were fish and chip chips and were horrible. My gums are still bleeding. The free garlic bread was nice but was sadly cold. The two chicken burgers were good .. but again barley no chicken breast in the burger and 90% was bun. The beef burger my poor dad couldn’t eat and spat it out. I would not recommend this place and would not go there again.

Had numerous meals from this takeaway and the pizzas chips and donner meat have been spot on couldn’t fault them,on Friday I was working nights ordered donner meat and chips to be delivered for a late lunch the meat was spot on loads of garlic sauce then I saw the chips…..they were rank disgusting I wouldn’t have fed them to a rat never mind a paying customer they should never have left the shop shame really…🤬🤬

Walked in and was asked what would I like, having not seen the menu before I needed time to look and felt under pressure from the bearded unkempt man who had a useless net over his beard but nothing to cover his head 😕 food is overpriced and the place isn't appealing. This place won't last long in a town with more choices of eateries.

Such a disappointment. This is the 2nd review I’ve left, not sure what happened to the 1st one. We ordered 2 portions of chips, 2 pizzas and a kebab, and were given a free garlic bread. The chips were really bad - they so chewy as to point of being inedible. As your policy stated you would rather sort the issue before it becomes a bad review we rang and told you. We were told it’s because they had just changed the oil - thing us, that should make better chips, not worse ones! I stated that they shouldn’t be chewy, and was then told that they had been having problems with this. As the pizzas and kebab looked good, we said that we would eat the rest of the meal, and go from there. We were not offered any recompense or replacement food, even though it is stated as standard customer service. Sadly, the rest of the food looked good, and that’s as far as it went. Both pizzas were doughy and greasy, which was a real shame, and the kebab was very dry and seemed to be missing a large portion of kebab meat - the cabbage and onion far outweighed anything else. As for the free garlic bread? It hadn’t even been cooked all the way through, mind you, the seagulls we left it out for didn’t seem to mind too much! After 30 odd years of being customers, we will not run the risk in future, as it’s far too hit and miss.

Cold food, greasy pizza, chips that were chewy, dry kebab and reading some of the replies on Google, management need a reality check, the replies accusing customers of lying WOW - we rang up and received some script regarding fryer had new oil hence crap chips, that surely makes them better. I used to go from school back in the 90s, unbeatable now inedible looks like the new guy in town is the place to eat, Popeyes. Ps not offered replacement a better service etc as stated in other review replies.

Moved to the area and found that it was very limited for home delivery of fast foods. We saw that Sizzle-in Carnforth delivered. We were disappointed that the largest pizza was 12", but when the pizzas arrived the amount of topping made it much more filling than any 16" pizza elsewhere. The pizzas were so tasty and the free garlic bread was amazing. We will definitely order regularly from now on.

Order took a VERY long time ( which we could have overcome ,especially if it was a busy period and food was fresh and hot) sadly, this was far from the case. Unfortunately what did arrive was very cold ( looked disgusting) and we were missing half the order . Subsequently called and was appalled by the response. I was accused of being a liar and had not ordered ( the missing food) despite paying for it . From here they pretended not to be able to hear me and hung up on me then never answered the phone to me again . Would NEVER use again!

I've never in all my life experienced this type of poor service and I've been in the catering and hospitality all my life! 3 hours it took for my order which I called at least 18 times to have different people speaking to me who weres extremely rude with no apology, it was the delivery girl who apologized, to then be told I will get a discount for the 3 hour wait when I still paid for the meal I rung up and said I was told I'd get a discount to them replied we have we knocked off the goujons, so £3.50 off of £25 for a 3 hour wait and cost me that in phone calls! The food was good I'm not gunna lie but the service and mannerisms after has put me off never again 😡 If I could rate 0 stars I would!

Order from here quite often (practically every week) most times its great or at least edible, ordered on Sunday and it was pretty grim to be honest. Chicken burger was undercooked, pizza was missing 2 toppings, no free garlic bread, the donner meat was cold, barely any garlic mayo, the order was 45 minutes late( which isn't a problem but when it's wrong and it cost £45 it is a problem) Giving this a miss for a while

Bought a donner kebab here , which was very cold and the meat was very dry , completly covered in a sweet chilli ketchup no salad just some red onions, really poor kebab in all fairness, absolute dismal. I returned for to buy a can of pepsi and mentioned to the server the quality was poor and my comment was i tended as nothing but honest feedback for the business. Very greasy. Lovely. Just what you need after 10 pints. Recommended after drinks, but not gourmet by any stretch.

While staying near Carnforth we used Sizzle in take-away two nights on the trot! The pizza was so tasty with a perfect thin crust and I was so presently surprised to find 'English chippy style' chips, rather than the usual frozen take-away fries. Efficient service too. Had to wait about 25 mins but nipped to the station bar while we waited. Well worth the wait. 😊

i have tried to order a delivery from the sizzle in 3 times in the last fortnight and every time was told all the slots were booked up, one of those times was 8.30 on a friday night if your that busy get another driver orderd from morecambe no bother deliverd to warton in 25 mins!!! get your act together

This is a great takeaway Mon- Fri, but avoid home delivery on a Saturday night! Ordering at 6.15pm and still waiting at 8.30pm is a bit too much!

Food was tasty! Thin and crispy pizza wasn’t so thin or crispy but tasted great 👍 I had the Chicken kebab and it was cooked perfectly and tasted lovely with the sauces. Chips weren’t crispy but were delicious - lovely soft almost bbq flavour from being cooked in the oils. Would eat here again for sure, thought it’s great value for money and friendly team.

Ordered a delivery to our holiday accommodation. We were advised re delivery time, however food arrived early. It would have been worth the wait. It was gorgeous. Burgers were lovely. Pizza was amazing. Garlic bread was fab. The chips were proper chips. Real potatoes...... Not frozen or oven chips. I'm considering moving to Carnforth to be nearby 🍟😁.

Honestly the best pizza this side of Kendal! My kids were over the moon with their little pizzas and the pizza we had with Salsa was just fantastic. I highly recommend this takeaway, a good and honest establishment.

We are spending a few days in Carnforth and on our way back to our hotel after a night out decided to grab a pizza and some chips. We placed our order and they made our pizza and we didn't have to wait long until it was ready. It was still hot by time we got back to our hotel. Plenty of veggies on the pizza and really gorgeous. Chips very tasty too. The only thing we forgot was to ask for salt and vinegar and some sauces but still enjoyable. Thank you for tasty late night food. 5

So we would have liked to go for a resteraunts for a rare night off but as they were All booked up we went to the sizzle in and thought we would Cop a squat somewhere we went in and ordered our food, the lovely staff whom were under immense pressure to perform on what will have been the hottest night of the year and then some if you take into consideration that they are stood literally in hells kitchen!! with all the appliances that are full whack 24/7 were so lovely 10 minutes said the lovely lady.. And they're must have been 10 people outside the shop All socially distanced of course.. So we came back after 10 minutes and must have only waited a further 2,3 minutes for our pizzas absolutely packed with ingredients cooked to perfection I'd like to say I feel so bad for the staff that I won't go in again soon but I'd be lying well done staff under such pressure from the heatwave and also the customer orders (only got a a picture of my partners garlic ham pizza) I got an amazing pizza of Anchovies Olives Peppers Chillies and mushrooms it was amazing

So i finished work and decided to call in for food at the sizzle inn for my tea. There was only 3 members of staff on, one was delivery driver out delivering then coming back into shop not washing hands and then cooking food. Then i saw a lady cooking food wearing no apron or gloves preparing food orders. Wiping her sweaty face on her tshirt top, then touching her mouth and face.The pizza maker was also preparing food for both vegetarians and meat eaters but not washing hands after touchin meat/ animal product before the producing veggie food. The griddle was used for meat then buns placed to toast ontop. Transfering meat product to buns.i was appalled by what i had witnessed. My partners chicken was undercooked. Pics taken and will be reported to the food standards commision.not to mention that she may be spreading corona virus. The food bags carrying out the food were ripped and not able to keep food at a good temp. I feel i must be honest and let people make a decision. Personally this needs to be inspected. Avoid at all costs as it may be harmful.

I live near Garstang but about a month ago my boyfriend and I were in the area and we dropped by and don’t regret it! He has a very specific pizza request and they made it no bother and he said it’s the best he’s had - he won’t go anywhere else now! 10/10 :)
