The food was excellent,hot on arrival, plenty of chicken with good portions of rice. The Malaysian Biryani was a large portion and lovely tasting, the sweet curry sauce with it really set it off. The Ceylon chicken had large pieces of chicken and was both soura with not too hot a taste. Peshwari naans were a treat to eat. I would recommend either dish. Not forgetting the Onion Bhaji's starter (2 x Bhaji's with sauce and salad) were both really good size and flavour. Will definately order again next time.

I’ve just had the worst experience and meal ever, will never order from this place again. Apart from delivering me the wrong order, their attitude when I rang up left a lot to be desired, and they kept hanging up on me, the food is nothing to shout about either, and I spent almost £40.

Not impressed won’t be ordering from here again. The Korma had hard frozen vegetables used instead of fresh vegetables. The curry has a consistency of soup and was flavourless. The onion bhaji was good the popadoms were good. The chutneys tasted nasty. Delivery driver was friendly and within the delivery time.

Ordered my favourite Malaysian Chicken Biryani yesterday 25.4.24. No chicken in it at all. No accompanying salad as mentioned on the menu. Very disappointing. It’s what I usually order, but I don’t know if I’d risk it again.

just ordered my very first order from her for me and my partner. despite all the reviews i was a tad worried. however it was very delicious. Food came on time, delivery driver was kind, food was very hot, big portions for a decent price. Only bad thing i could note is curry’s were a little oily however very good and enjoyable overall. will probably be ordering again.

We've been getting takeaways for years from Delhicious and the food has always been great but I guess the ownership or chef has changed as our last takeaway was really bad. It was overly spiced to the point of being inedible and the quality of the food awful-even the chips! We ended up throwing the lot away sadly. Contacted Delhicious on Facebook messenger and got no response. Their website contact page isn't working either.

Terrible I'm afraid. This used to be our favourite Indian takeaway but something seems to have gone amiss or I guess changed hands..the food was overly spiced and the quality really bad.Ended up throwing the whole lot away.

Wow. I genuinely don’t have many words for this awful takeaway we had tonight. It wasn’t even edible. Stone cold chips that weren’t even half cooked. A wrap that was so stale and hard that could barely be chewed and almost no chicken inside. What a waste of money and time.

Food Amazing as always - Delivery time needs to be changed for a Saturday night

We have been using this takeaway for over 10 years now and have had great food that was great value too. We don't live near Lancaster but do visit about four or five times a year and we always have a takeaway from Delhicious. Of late though the food quality hasn't been quite as good and the quantity has got less but the price has gone up, markedly so. I would now say that their offerings aren't value for money at all. We had a tandoori mix grill and a chicken tikka masala on the 18th January 24. I noticed that the cost of the food had risen from around £25 to almost £30 since our last visit in October last year. I also noted how much smaller the portions were from the previous visits. We want to continue using this takeaway and will do but not unless the food portions go back to what they were.

Decided to order a curry so this place pops up .. Besides the menu being extensive the food was superb. We decided on a set meal costing a VERY reasonable £24 the bag came chockerblock ,2 currys and all the extras .. Definitely definitely recommend 👌

We just bought two wraps, the “mixed veg kebab wrap” it was a handful of frozen veg in a nann, straight in the bin, had to spit it out it was that inedible, absolutely gobsmacked .

We got a takeaway for New Years Eve and the food was as yummy as ever. This Indian takeaway has been our “go to” for a long time and we still can’t beat it (at home or away). So when I came on TripAdvisor to write a review this morning I was so surprised to see a run of bad reviews! Our food has always tasty and the different curries taste as they should. We certainly can recommend 👍

Awful food!! Hair found in the kebab The balti was pure oil. The onion salad was brown & off Never again!

Rice half full , meat awful, half the size of potions you used to get used to order all the time from here and was amazing definitely gone right down hill

One of the most unpleasant curry meals I have ever had the displeasure of spending money on. Cold, tastless and the order we had delivered was wrong! It took over half an our to deliver the correct food and the man on the phone could barely be understood.

Got food 3 hours later after putting our order in (was supposed to arrive within an hour). Phoned 3 times to see where it was, kept saying it was on its way, then said had issues with ticket machine. They did apologise but still not good enough as why they said it was on its way and it wasn’t!!! Food usually really good as always get it from here but not as good this time.

Ordered through the website. Called when the delivery was late to be told that there was no order, however order number and estimated time of delivery given. Payment taken. I was told to contact the company for payment - which is the telephone number for the business. They told me the website had been shut down but it clearly hasn’t. Avoid like the plague.

Need to ask your delivery drivers to stop being rude! I live in a top floor flat, so obviously takes me a couple of seconds to run down. Hes always moaning because I don't get down as soon as he answers! You also sent a plain nan instead of garlic, 1 poppadom instead of 2 and the food was pretty cold tbh. Worst ive ever eaten from here

Missing food from order. Called and the man couldn't speak English, just grunted at me. Garlic naan had no garlic on it. Butter chicken sauce was so pale and not the right flavour. Lamb rogan josh was so tough I had to spit it out. Terrible. Won't order again.

Curry nice & tasty. Mixed wrap was awful meat overcooked & dry, hardly any salad & sauce. Delivery said 30-50 mins ended up being over an hour.

Food went in the bin. Full of grease and Freezing cold. Arrived 2 hours after we ordered. Staff were rude on phone when asked about order too. No help or apologies given. Absolute waste of nearly 50 quid! 🤬😫 Will never order here again. Avoid!

If you want to chuck your money down the toilet then yeah, sure go here for food! We ordered takeaway in the evening , after it was an hour late we called to ask, considering they could be busy, however we received nothing but rude staff on the phone, who spoke in angry tone to us then shouted to someone in the bk ground before passing the phone to another who proceeded to tell us food was on way with driver, although not sure how they knew which order it was since I'd not given my details yet. So we proceed to wait a further hour and make another pointless phone call to find the estimated delivery time had changed by a further hour again despite it apparently being with the driver. The food eventually turned up freezing cold and full of grease. Poppadoms were soggy, chops mostly bone and kebab wrap was like rubber and as for the chips well my 5 year old could probably do better at cooking them they were wet floppy and again oily. Waste of time no money will not order again terrible customer service and food was not edible not to mention how long we waited. Very disappointed can't wait for supper with sanah to be back open that's a real Indian restaurant with real food worth paying for. wouldn't even feed to my dog never mind us. 50quid wasted! Tried to offer the seagulls even they turned their beak up at it!

Ordered at 5:30. Called at 7pm, they rudely said it was on its way and put the phone down. Called again at 7:30. Same thing happened. Called again at 8pm, phone put down on me. Food arrived cold at 8:15. Very very oily and poppudoms burnt and inedible. Very disappointing used to be great.

Ordered online and received confirmation email. Delivery was nearly an hour late, I rang them and they said the order hadn't been received. They sent the order via taxi, costing them £15. The food was hot and delicious. I would highly recommend food and customer service was excellent

Usually eat from here at least twice a month and as usual the food quality was great but both curry trays were only just above 1/2 full. In reality appeared to be 1 good portion split into 2 when i expect the trays to be full as normal. Made the meal dry, not enough sauce for the rice. Still quality food though.

Really gone down over the last few weeks sauce was very runny not as much chicken no heat after asking for vindaloo don't know what's going on this was my favourite take away I do hope it gets back to how it used to be a real shame

Placed an order online, phoned after a hour and a half wait, to be told very busy and it's on its way... Phoned again 2 hours after ordering to be told online wasn't working and to order again and request a refund from PayPal... Won't be ordering from them again....

Horrendous customer service, staff are rude unhelpful and short tempered. We ordered our food at 5pm, called at 6:30pm and again at 7pm for them to then tell us there system does not have our order. We paid and they are refusing to give us a refund until Friday which is appalling behaviour!! We will most certainly never return, if they had been more polite and understanding over the phone I may have given them a second chance. They have lost our custom and I will warn family and friends away from this business. Really disappointed. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Curry was so greasy and swimmin in the top, popperdoms tasted awful the oil they were cooked in I presume generally dissapointed and cost nearly £25. Winter be returning again and will be telling my friends and social network to boycott. Dissapointed to say the least.

DO NO USE. I ordered online from website. And no food arrived so I rung up and they said not to use webite as iit doesn't work and that would not be charged. That i should of used just eat. I decided not to get my food from there as i was straving. However I have been charged. I have tried to get in touch but no reply. NO FOOD SEND AND NO REFUND GIVEN.

The worst Indian food in Lancaster. Tandoori chicken was dry, daal totally bland and okra half cooked and nauseating. Only bhuna chicken was okay but then you can find better options than this anyday. The restaurant is very poor in terms of their delivery. I placed an order through Ubereats and didn't receive it even after 1.5hrs. called twice and every time was told that it would be delivered in 5-10mins. No update.

I ordered a Balti. It was not a Balti, it was far too spicy to eat. Tried to call but couldn’t get through. Waste of money :-(

The food tasted good, but we were really let down by numerous issues with quality. The curry sauce had a thick layer of oil on the surface, the meat was dry. The keema naan was damp, tasted like it had been reheated, and looked like an open wound. The mixed vegetable wrap was soggy and greasy, and the contents looked like a bag of baby veg. The raita looked almost curdled and had absolutely no taste. We will NOT be going here again!

Ordered a meal for my wife, son and myself, once ordered the projected wait time shifted by 30 mins, this I accepted and was prepared to wait, it gave me a new window of delivery, it got to the end of the window before the food was marked as on its way, 10 minutes passed and I tried to call the restaurant (no answer) then I marked it as late on the app, the app then responded to state that it was now delayed and wouldn’t be available for another 15 minutes, I tried to call the restaurant again (no answer) the food eventually turned up 30 minutes after the later time of the window. The food was cold and not of the quality it should have been if it were delivered on time. Food ok, service and promptness shocking.

Best take away.......🤔 But let me retract what I've just said as don't want everyone to know. It's not a restaurant what a shame🥺

Nan was cold, curry too watery

Some parts of the food were nice, it was all hot when it arrived, however, my balti was around a third pure oil, just sat on the top of the curry. Tasted okay, but realised the carrots and peas were the tinned type, instead of fresh. Rice and naan were really good, as well as the delivery time. However, this was overshone by the lack in quality of the actual curry. Overall disappointed, considering the price I paid.

Had a takeaway, so disappointing to get a watery curry sauce, cheap prawns, an onion bhaji that just fell to bits and a keema naan with no keema. It really was the worst Indian meal I have ever had, half of it went in the bin. Will not be ordering from them again.

Took over 1 1/2 hours to arrive. The curry had so much oil on the top of them both they were not nice to eat. The rice was cold and the naan was really small and not garlicky at all. Not what I expect from this takeaway. Tried to phone several times but they were not answering the phone.

This is the most disgusting food i have ever had in my LIFE. The butter chicken curry tasted like butter mixed with sweet yoghurt. It felt like i just tasted tandoori chicken in an ice-cream. How could you sell this to people. I almost threw up after tasting it and it went straight in the bin. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

Over 1 hour late. 2 tikka masala ordered but was sent a hot madras. Won't answer my calls so gave up trying. Usually good service but today it was terrible. Asked just eat for a partial refund.

It was also luke warm. I had to warm it up. It took over 2 hours from ordering to delivery and I rang and the phone was engaged every time. Shame because it was really good food but don’t expect it to take over two hours and then have to warm it up myself.

Great takeaway food and every dish tastes individual whereas some places it all looks and tastes the same. Used delivery and pick up service. Delivery can take time due to the popularity of the place. Starters are good as well as main dishes - try the aloo chat

The drinks were missing, and the food took longer than it should

Good food, delivered almost on time. The saag Bhaji was not nice though (but might be my taste not their food!)

They didn’t deliver one of the dishes. I called them and they apologised and said they would send the missing dish out in around half an hour. It never came. They have my money but they didn’t deliver my meal. Not recommended.

Ordered Meat Vindaloo, but got Chicken instead. Husband hates chicken so ended up in the bin. Both meals had to be warmed up in microwave when we got them as luke warm. Plus poppadoms were all crushed up in the bag. We paid £29.20 only to dump our meal and issues with poppadoms crushed and luke warm on receipt, even though it was 10 minutes early, so would assume would be hot. Fuming that our meal was messed up.

Tasty food and quickly available for collection. Though it's probably worth mentioning that the chilli garlic curry seemed to be on the hot side of medium! We would get food from here again.

Just what the Doctor ordered. Really enjoyed my chicken Madras and Pilau rice. Will definitely order again and try something new.

Got curry last night . Massively overpriced for what we received .Currys were average at best . Biryani sauce was very watery and bland . Very disappointed to say the least .will never order from them again

Top take away. Excellent flavour and just the right level of heat in my jalfrezi. Generous amount of chicken tikka and great naan bread highly recommended. I'll be back for another soon.

2 hours late, still not arrived, 2 numbers to call and no answer. Eventually someone picks up and then hangs on you and then both lines now always busy tone. Very poor service!

This was my first order from Delhicious. I only have good things to say. The order arrived well within time on a Saturday evening. The Poppadom and chutney tray - fresh tasting, prawn puri starter lovely and the chicken pathia had a sweet yet fiery edge to it.

Very disappointed with the food. The first time I ordered I thought it was ok but 4 meals later the food has progressively got worse. Our meal on Thursday 18th was dire. The grills had no flavour whatsoever and the chicken smelt and tasted rancid!...

The restaurant's business model works really well. the Menu is varied and interesting. Be it telephone collection, telephone delivery or internet app the service is always faultless and fast. The food is well presented and well flavoured and spiced as described. The staff are polite and efficient. It would be 10 stars if the chef didn't use 20% of all the food provided as palm oil. The food is way too greasy, running in oil, and not even ghee. Come on guys. Up your game. You could be a truly great takeaway if you used 90% less oil for the UK market. I'd accept rice, dahl, naan, vegetables, anything except the ubiquitous cloying palm oil smothering everything.

Bought our favourite curry via just eat. It didn't come with the rice as advertised on the menu. A quick call to delicious and 20 minutes later our rice arrived. Superb customer service. Thanks 👍

Yum yum yum. Really good curry. Good flavours, good use of spices, fresh ingredients. The curries, breads and all starters were perfect. Next time I'm here I'll be ordering from this place. Probably one of best curries I've ever had.

We thought we would try Dehlicious Indian in Lancaster this evening so we ordered at around 5.56pm for 7.00pm & paid on line and got email confirmation of order. 7.40 still not turned up so I phoned them & they said they hadnt got the...

Really disappointing. Onion bhaji starter was large but dripping with oil when taken out of the container. Ordered a chicken nagaa main. It was spicy as requested, but it was actually lamb not chicken! Accompanying naan bread was strangely sweet tasting, and I left most of it. Would not recommend this takeaway, and will not be ordering again.

Amazing!!! 😃🤩 We got takeaway...cuz of COVID obvs. 😫😔 I got Chicken Tikka Dopiaza with Garlic Naan. Other members of the family got Chicken Tikka Balti, Garlic Chicken Chilli Curry and Chicken Jalfrezzi. We got to share for starters: 2x Prawn Purry 4x Samosas and 4x Onion Bargies. For accompaniments, we got Garlic Naan (I said it was mine; we shared it really), Pilau Rice, Egg-Fried Rice and some spiced Naan I can't remember the name of (#hopeless). All was very delicious and perfect portions.

Owner is great and food is the same.
