Excellent staff and great food and fair price 👍

Friendly welcoming atmosphere and plenty of room for our party of 8. Needed to request cutlery for half of our party and napkins for some. Onion bhaji were awful, huge portion but couldn't eat any, no sign or taste of onion just overall greasy tasting batter. Had to send my main meal back to be warmed, sauce was hot but meat cold. Cucumber rhaita (requested 3 times) was a bland yoghurt and naan bread was lukewarm and limp, as if kept warm in tin foil. Enjoyed the evening with friends but not the food .won't be going back.

Excellent Indian Restaurant situated on the Marine Drive West on the Morecambe front. A very comprehensive menu to suit all tastes & anyone with dietary requirements. Note that they are not licensed, so take your own choice of beers & or wines to accompany your meal. Enjoy, you will not be disappointed

Our first visit to this restaurant so no preconceived expectations. But a definite 5/5 from us! The service was attentive, the staff were smart and professional. The onion bhajis were absolutely the best we’d ever had. Delicious. We both tried curries we’d never had before and they didn’t disappoint. The lamb and chicken were freshly cooked and the sauces were outstanding. The staff came to check if we were happy several times but were not intrusive. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back. Thank you!

One of the best Indian meals we have ever had. The lamb was melt in your mouth, so succulent & flavourful & the flavours were authentic and delicious. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a thoroughly fabulous meal. There was a great selection on the menu. The food arrived quickly, and was delicious. Timing was excellent, we weren't rushed or left sitting waiting for any length of time. The room was comfortable, not cramped. The prices were very reasonable. The staff were pleasant. We will definitely be going again soon.

Having lived in Morecambe for 6 years we eventually gave it a try. Friday evening at about 8.30 p.m. 6 other couples in plus us. We were welcomed on arrival by a very pleasant chap, offered our seat's and given menus and told to take our time and ask about the menu should we have any preference due to dietary needs. We ordered and I wasn't sure what I wanted. The Guy serving us made it clear that I was to take my time to get what I was happy with. From our starters to main meals I can honestly say that we were not disappointed. We both enjoyed our meals. The flavours were just right,subtle spices and great amounts of meat ect. We will definitely go again. Although it wasn't busy we did hear a table for 4 refused for the next evening as they were fully booked. Judging from the amount of take aways that were being sent out it would seem that the locals enjoy this place too. Decor fresh and clean, lighting is good and the staff are knowledgeable of the menu and attentive without being in your face. They have no drinks licence, but are happy for you to bring along your own in what ever quantities you like ( we were not charged corkage) this may be different if busy. Not sure. Overall a very pleasant meal,unobtrusive staff and a great value at under £50 for 2 with 2 courses excluding alcohol. Plus points Would we go again. YES Would we recommend. Yes. Staff will help with dishes and preferences. Minus points. No alcohol licence. Overall a good experience, for a weekend meal that definitely won't stretch the budget.

Pleasant visit. There was a birthday party going on so quite busy. Didn't get a lot of attention from staff, but food was OK. Husband had chicken madras - he enjoyed. I had a vegetarian malayan - I didn't overly enjoy but it was edible. A little too gravy-tasting for me. I would go back but get something different. Toilets need a little updating.

Ordered a king prawn madras it was quite bizarre. It came with two large whole mushrooms and some tomatoes in it. I can honestly say i have never had that in a madras before. They were not on the description, not keen on rouge items im my madras.

Awful, ordered poppadum with mango and the mint dips. Mango was red and no taste of mango, mint was violent green and no mint taste just nasty. Chicken dish I had was awful too, dry hard pieces of chicken that appeared to have been cooked a while ago then heated in sauce. The sauce was too sweet and not spicy. Paid and left . There were children screaming and running around the restaurant I realise this was not the restaurants fault but really spoilt any dining experience, the screaming and running around carried on all the time I was there. Cutlery and crockery did not appear very clean either

Since we were staying at the beach, we actually wanted to go to a restaurant overlooking the ocean, but we decided against it because the only restaurant with a direct view of the ocean was a hotel. Pub ratings in the area were low, and since it was Monday, I searched everywhere for a reasonably good Indian restaurant. The interior of the store is modern and safe. I think the menu is pretty standard Indian food. Anyway, since I'm not familiar with the dishes, I ordered two dishes that I've heard of, including either naan or rice. On the menu, if you bring your own drink (BYOB), the glass fee was 50p, so I checked with the waiter and went to my car to get some wine. The full-bodied red from Spain I brought in was delicious with the relaxing and rich lamb curry and chicken curry. I chose mild curry, but it was a little spicy. The pain was barely bearable. The naan is huge, fluffy and delicious. The rice is smooth and contains vegetables. A two-course order costs £26. It was quiet when I entered the store, but the music inside was loud and loud. Furthermore, the family sitting next to me started watching a video on their smartphone, and when they couldn't hear the video over the music in the store, they turned up the volume even more, and everyone in the surrounding seats gave me cold stares, but I noticed.

Pretty good food, but not the best I have tasted. Remember this is a no alcohol restaurant and you won't be disappointed

Excellent food Can’t fault anything

It was a Saturday night, we booked early (6:30) to avoid a rush, but we found, despite the restaurant being open at 5:30, it was well attended already, there was plenty of space left though. It's been quite a while since we've been here, nice modern surroundings, obviously been completely refurbished, the room was light, airy, with an interesting ceiling design. Onto the food. Only five minutes to order, waiter had good English. Ten minutes till the starters arrived, a good spread as each of the four of us had something different. I had the onion bahji, excellent. If I had one criticism, there was too much, haha !! Ten minutes to mains. Each of us had something different. All hot, with hot plates, clean, with nice clean cutlery. My meal ( Lamb Tikka Biryani ) was excellent, as everybody said about their meals. Giant naan bread were quite superfluous, but delicious all the same. Too stuffed to have a dessert, so cannot comment. All in all, a very good experience. It's a shame that for reasons that I can't go into, they gave up their alcohol licence, but you can take your own and they provide glasses. I don't understand why anyone would give this place one, or in a few cases they would have left no stars at all, there is no accounting for tastes. One small thing, the men's toilets, they could have less whiffy, but I've smelt worse in the local McDonald's, I suppose for the picky amongst us, it could be a problem. I'm giving it top marks.

Stale items, filled with extra oil and uncooked spices especially red Chilli powder...curry paste from the shelf used. Every item tastes the same. Would not recommend this place because of the unhealthy and unhygienic nature of the food.

The restaurant is only open until 9 o’clock even though their website advertises that they are open until 11 o’clock!

Got a takeaway, Chicken Korma is very good but for the price I would of expected more than 7small pieces of chicken, also the mushroom rice tastes of lemon, disappointed

Had takeaway from here this evening, King Prawn Biryani, sadly, the rice was cold, and the prawns were just defrosted, asked for extra spicy, which the curry sauce was, but that was the only good thing, will not go here again. (UPDATE) Called them and made a complaint, they agreed to replace the meal the following day, which was much better, shame it came to maki g a complaint to get it right.

1st time we have been to this restaurant as we were on holiday, food was very good and served quickly, great choice from menu, no alcohol was served but you can bring your own at the time no license, not sure why. Don't really drink so would not put us off from returning. Staff very friendly.

I have become a little bit disillusioned lately with Indian takeaways. Perhaps I've become more picky. Perhaps, more likely, the cost of ingredients have forced restaurants to cut back. Anyway, that wasn't the case with Morecambe Tandoori. It was INCREDIBLE. Best food I've had for a very long time.

Had dinner here, Guy Fawkes night. The food here is really lovely - must be one of the best Indian style food restaurant I have been to. The staff are so friendly. It was BYOB, so we took a bottle of red wine...they provided glasses. It's a popular place - half of Morecambe must order their meals here for delivery too!

Food was nice but service very slow unfortunately, we don't like to be rushed when out for a meal but an hours wait between starters and mains is a lot. You can take your own alcohol and if sat near the front the views are lovely

Our party of 4 popped in at 6pm on a Tuesday on arrival we were told they were 3/4 full but they would squeeze us in. Food arrived in reasonable time and was top notch tasty.

I went to the morecambe tandoori whilst away at morecambe for a couple of nights . The staff were pleasant and the food was very tasty, warm and well presented . The only downside was they were understaffed . We got our popadoms straight away but no drinks we had ordered . They were very apologetic and knocked the first round off the bill though . I would visit again if in morecambe

It’s the third time I have been here and the food is good. The hygiene and service on the other hand isn’t. Service isn’t great, staff on phones, waiting times for everything very slow. Very inefficient the toilets are disgusting. Such a shame as small improvements such as customer service training and employing a cleaner could make a real difference.

5 of us had a really fantastic meal here this evening. Massive choice of Indian meals available all cooked freshly. It’s not licensed so take your own and no corkage charge. Price wise it is very very reasonable. If you like curries or Indian food you will not be disappointed.

Really excellent, flavoursome food & generous portions. As well as all the favourites there are some north Afghan dishes- complex and full of flavour.

We have had some decent dining experiences here in the past and some great take away too. It was a shame to be so disappointed with the most recent dine in. Since the refurbishment it has seriously took a turn for the worse. The restaurant looks very clean and tidy now and has a nice appeal walking in, however on closer inspection once sat down the table had no cutlery and the side plates were filthy. When the waiter realised we had no cutlery he brought some that were not fully washed. I ordered something I had never had before as a starter so I can't really comment on whether it was as good, better or worse than before, it was pleasant. Not great but not terrible either. The mains were a big problem. Both of us ordered Chicken dishes and the meat was hard, almost as if it had been cooked, reheated and reheated again. I left mine. The service person was uninterested, barely spoke and didn't really offer any kind of service. I went to the toilet genuinely interested to see what work had been done in the refurb only to find it had not been touched. It smelled terrible and had I been before ordering we would have ventured elsewhere. All in all, I would say for the effort they put in with the new look they missed out on the important ingredients to a successful restaurant. Clean toilets, accommodating staff and good food. Lots to be done here before I even think of returning. Shame really, it was a good eatery.

Came across this little gem on a last minute visit to Heysham & Morecambe & thought we would give it a try. So glad we did, as it was one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. Amazing peshwari naans. Dishes we had were so tasty. Beanibazzar chicken dish was amazing. Great, friendly & quick service. place was nicely set out & very clean. Bring your own alcohol as they don't serve drinks. They supply glasses tho. Highly recommend this place. Will defo be visiting here again.

Had food delivered. Was prompt. Food was nice. We had a lamb and a king prawn madras with rice, Nan . Curry was tasty but very runny.

Up Point it was Brilliant food per usual Down side, after having been served by a duty waiter who didn't seem interested at all, food arrived promptly, just missing items ordered, had to remind the waiter of what we was missing, Shortly after we received our starters a table of 8 arrived he seemed to perk up and give them 100% attention as we still waited for our missing items which eventually came when we finished our meal Last time we was there we had a Awesome experience being served by a waitress called Sam Sadly we won't be going again

Friendly staff. Fantastic menu, good prices VERY CLEAN. My curry was amazing I could taste all the different spices in it. I want the recipe! One of the best curries I've had. Will definitely go again.

Been here regularly before and blown over in the past but tonight’s popadums and relishes really poor. Good special curry and mushroom rice, served warm. Pity as next time will try elsewhere.

11/10 best curry in the Morecambe area, best dishes are the dansack or the "Gary balti" - seafood balti with extra garlic

Had its second chance. Both times I got about 4-5 pieces of meat in my food. Always waiting longer than you’re told. Bland tasting. Rude staff. Definitely never going again. Bar bar elephant for round here all day. Basically got trimmings for onion bhajis. Worst food experience I’ve had id says definitely don’t bother

Got a takeaway delivered from here last night. It arrived at the time stated and was nice and hot. Love that they now do my favourite curries as ‘sauces’ as I prefer most curries for the flavour of the curry rather than the meat. I ordered a small patia sauce and a small jalfrezi sauce, both were absolutely delicious and exactly what I wanted. Also on our order was a chicken madras along with breads and rice. All the food was really good and great value. Definitely our favourite local curry restaurant. Thank you 😁

Unfriendly staff and quite ignorant to be honest . Service was terrible and average food . The new decor doesn't feel like you're in a Indian restaurant feels more like a trendy wine bar . Won't be back .

So 1 Korma and 2 Madras was ordered and when they arrived all 3 were very watery and tasteless and the waiter just said that's how it comes. Not good
