Great Value for money, lovely Hotel & Staff were so friendly had a great Hen party weekend for my friend. Definitely come again.

Beautifully kept, beautifully ran, great pool tables and dart board. Friendly Owners and staff who clearly take pride in the pub. It's a pub with a relaxed atmosphere that still gets lively and busy without getting anywhere close to rowdy on a Friday/Saturday night. Drinks are always spot on and the place is kept very clean and tidy without losing any of its homely warm atmosphere. Spot on!

10/10 stars in all aspects; staff, service, cleanliness, timely, value, quality and the chief himself is very professional, helpful, courteous and the staff are amazing with great smile. I am very proud of them. Food and presentation very delicious and mouth drooling.

I’ve been here a few times with some friends for the Prosecco and Pottery classes and have absolutely loved every one of them. The team is lovely, the atmosphere is brilliant and the pottery making is so fun. Would highly recommend!

Reliable hotel in a good location.

Ate in this hotel restaurant on a Monday evening. Nice setting and friendly attentive staff. Starters of tomato soup and garlic mushrooms, both tasted lovely. We both had the 12oz rib-eye steak which was cooked to perfection and cut like a knife through butter, lush. We finished with the strawberry sundae and sticky toffee pudding. A Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and a Merlot meant we went off to bed with a warm glow. A lovely meal.

Ordered food and never arrived. Rang the restaurant for clarification and they hung up. Rang a further 3 times and no answer.

Fantastic bar just to wait in and the rest of the hotel looks lovely.

We hired the loft at commonhall social for a 30th birthday celebration and couldn’t recommend it enough. Amazing fab, great staff and brilliant atmosphere. We will be booking again!

Visited Chester for a short day out, off the train and saw a welcoming pub, so we thought we'd pop in for a short bite and a few pre-drinks. The lovely gentleman who was on the bar, named Rich, talked us through the food and drinks menu, didn't spare any details and was very patient and welcoming to our questions. After we placed our order, we decided to explore their huge, lovely beer garden. After having a natter for around 10 minutes, our food arrived, and we weren't expecting the outstanding cuisine we were given, outstanding. Would recommend!

The food here is nice, the service the last time was slow but we found out something we did not agree with-the management KEEP THE TIPS!! apparently the staff just get a meal at the end of the shift. Do not tip! The bosses already make enough.
