It was Bank Holiday Monday and we decided to go out for a nice meal. We have been coming here for years and it was one of our favorite pubs to visit. Not anymore! We had orders drinks which came out quickly, but it was a long wait to order our food. The place was not busy, but we noticed that the waitresses were standing around chatting with little interest in the customers. Once we had ordered, the starter of Nachos came within a reasonable time, but were tasteless. Unfortunately, we waited 45 minutes for our main courses. I ordered the Beef and Ale pie which was absolutely disgusting. I was horrified to find kidneys in it! I hate any form of offal, so I could not eat it. The menu never mentioned anything about kidneys. The broccoli was cold, so couldn’t eat that either. My husband had the Cheese Pie that he described as a congealed tasteless mess! We would have ordered more drinks but couldn’t get the attention of the staff. What a shame that this pub has gone downhill. We will be striking it off our list of places to eat. Don’t waste your money!

We were running late due to an accident on the motorway but the staff were absolutely fine with it and had kept our table. The food was delicious and their was plenty of it, so much so that they gave us carry out containers. Our server was Charlotte and she was friendly, polite and efficient. We'll definitely be back.

This was my second visit here, having visited the previous year. Food was lovely once again. I have a vegan curry which was really tasty. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Only downside was that the only vegan pudding option was ice cream, meaning that I couldn’t really have a pudding.

Been to here a few times for lunch, always ordered from the set menu and been pleased with it. Today we ordered from the main menu. I ordered the steak and Philly cheese ciabatta, I was asked would I like it pink or well done? Well done I said… well it came and was effectively bleu and cold even the ciabatta inside was pink due to the steak being so rare. I asked the waitress to return it as I couldn’t eat it, she was lovely and was apologetic. The ciabatta was taken off the bill. My husband ordered fish and chips he said that was okay. We decided to have desserts, I ordered Eton mess… I was served with a massive piece of rock hard meringue on a plate and a bit of ice cream on top. The meal was expensive what would would we would normally pay in a restaurant of an evening, not a lunch in a pub. We will not be returning.

We came for a late lunch after taking my grandaughter to the iceream farm my adult son also came The pub is lovely on the outside there's ample parking aswel Inside its nicely decorated very clean and the staff welcomed us straight away and got us a table Didn't have to wait for any service it was spot on the staff were so polite and friendly I had a ploughman's which is probably the best I've ever had amd my son had a classic burger which he said was fantastic Drinks were nice and like they should be After lunch we took my grandaughter to the beer garden which is also lovely and huge with a decent play area for the kids I will defo be returning soon Well done guys x

I visited to have lunch with a friend. We shared 6 of the small appetisers which was more than enough. The brisket balls and hummus were really good. Nachos were disappointing as they were stuck together and not enough guacamole or sour cream. The staff were lovely and everywhere was really clean. Reasonable prices for food & drinks. We will very back!

We had booked online and asked for highchair, my husband had to ask for one and this seemed too much trouble,again after over half an hour we asked for drinks as no one acknowledged us , after ordering our food ,a member of staff came over after 20 mins to say no meatballs on the kids menu , food and service was awful , wasn’t even asked if we wanted deserts or more drinks , couldn’t wait to leave !!

Beautiful location with the feel of a country pub although just off a main road. Outside areas so pleasant and super-clean with inviting seating and planters. Inside warm atmosphere, tasteful decor, fires where needed. Good variety of seating for dining and drinks.....banquettes, high stools, armchairs and trafitional table and chairs. Dogs and walkers made most welcome (even with muddy boots) in defined areas. Toilets spotless. Good welcome and seated promptly. Server extremely friendly, accommodating and efficient. Food freshly prepared, all delicious, especially the sweet potato and red pepper soup. Good variety of vegetarian and vegan starter and main course options and the vegan dahl was flavoursome and plentiful. Enjoyed our visit and loved using the new over-sixties discount card.

Just had the Hyde's steak and ale pie and it should have been named the Hyde's gravy pie, spot the meat and paper thin pastry. This was a shame as everything else was ok.

My visit to the Stamford Arms Inn was a mixed experience. Not being from the area, I found the inn after a quick Google search for a place to eat and was able to prebook. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. The staff didn't seem attentive or eager to engage, making us feel more like an inconvenience than valued customers. The highlight of the meal was the roast lunch. Although it was served lukewarm, it tasted delicious, which significantly improved our overall experience. However, the dessert left me somewhat disappointed. My choice of meringue dessert was poor, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed his crumble. If it weren't for the tasty roast lunch, the overall experience would have been less memorable. While there were some positives, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of service and the temperature of the food served.

A lovely dog friendly pub. There were no dark ales to choose, but apparently there is a red ale coming soon. Being dog friendly is a massive bonus.

Went to the Stamford Bridge for a Birthday meal. Table was booked for 5 people. All 5 meals were ordered and 4 meals arrived at the same time but the remaining one came 10 minutes later which was frustrating. All 5 meals had fries which were all undercooked and this was not acceptable. In future we will try elsewhere.

Went to Stamford Bridge Inn for a Sunday Roast and this was our first ever and we had the most exceptional experience from all the staff. We didn't have a table booked and from the car park you could tell that it was busy inside so we rang them and we managed to book table. Ben made our first time experience the best as he explained the menu to us and made some lovely recommendations which we decided to try.... we had the Sunday platter for 2, the standard of the food was exceptional and portions are just amazing. Ben was so kind enough to help us get a doggybag for our left overs. We would definitely return here sometime and highly recommend this establishment.

Food and drinks were really good, with one exception; the fishcake we ordered as part of the lunchtime special was miniscule, an absolutely tiny speck. The service was quite poor. We had to attract attention rather than being waited on and glasses were not cleared at any point during the meal (leaving 14 empties by the end). We normally tip, but didn't this time. We've been quite a few times before and felt a bit neglected this visit. Pretty good value for money. We'd been out a few nights before and had a quite expensive meal for three and the bill at The Stamford Bridge was not that more for six of us.

We visited late on Friday 29/3 and were warmly welcomed without a booking. Our food was good: sea bass on a bed of risotto, very tasty and sea food pie topped with a scallop, again very tasty, probably the proportion was a little too heavy with potato compare to fish, however still very enjoyable. Whilst the food was good, the service was fabulous, a young team delivering a warm, genuine and friendly service. The management should be very proud of their team. We would recommend a visit.

This place is very clean and tidy , the staff were very friendly and helpful, there are things outside for the children to do as well, the food was very good well presented and really tasty ! It’s definitely worth a visit

Went for tea with a friend on a Monday evening. Very quiet as expected , service was excellent, friendly , food was great. Couldn’t fault it at all . Nice to go somewhere and have proper fresh chips, no frozen ones here!

Really helpful when I phned to say that we were running late. Gave my husbby a taster of the ales so he could choose the one he liked best. However he would have preferred chunky chip with his burger rather than fries, & he did get the mushroom & chorizo side which was amazing. My game casserole was delicious. Lovely light sticky toffee pudding however the cheescake tasted more creamy than lemony. The staff were lovely & helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would go there again.

The Stamford Bridge Inn was recommended by friends who had visited three weeks earlier and said it was a great Sunday lunch so we decided to book. Online booking is simple and when we arrived we received a warm welcome , the food was outstanding and the staff were attentive

We called in to this lovely, country pub, en route to our midweek getaway break. What a great find. We had the midweek lunch 3 course menu for £15.95. Each course was lovely. Hot, cooked perfectly and great ingredients/produce used. We both felt full afterwards and very satisfied with the lovely service and ambiance. We would definitely recommend and we will call in again 100% when we are visiting Chester in the future.

The pubs atmosphere was lovely and welcoming with a real home fire. We were a little cramped where we were seated but appreciate the pub was busy. Service was good and efficient There was lots of choice on the menu and the children’s menu was excellent. The starters were delicious as too were the mains. My only slight criticism was that there needed to be more veg/ chips on the mains, considering the price. I think the carrot wellington should not be on the Sunday roast menu, even though it says what veg it comes with it could be easily misread as having the Sunday roast trimmings ( yorkshire pud) The puddings were really tasty and presented beautifully.

One of the best roast dinners in Chester. We arrived without a booking on a busy Sunday and were seated with no problems. We were served our drinks very quickly and our order taken. The food came out within 10 minutes. A duo of meats, a roast beef and a roast turkey. The meat is delicious and tender, beautifully presented with seasonal veg, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding an delicious, rich gravy. The staff are very attentive, efficient and friendly. It's just a lovely place and somewhere we visit regularly.

This place has been a family favourite for years with a Sunday menu that never disappoints, and is served throughout the day into the evening suiting us perfectly. Our requests were accommodated with no fuss and the overall experience was top notch - see you again soon!

The Stamford Bridge was lovely and warm with a real fire glowing in the hearth - the staff were very attentive and the food was piping hot and really tasty - the only downside was that the toilets were freezing cold - but not put me off - have already booked again

I have been here 3 times now and have never found any faults with the service or with food.would definitely be back and definitely recommend to my friends and family. Also I changed my booking twice which was no problem for the team to sort out for me so it's a big yes from me N my team who visited on Friday the 22nd December.

I have been going to The Stamford Bridge for lunches for about two years. Every time, the service has been excellent with nothing being too much trouble, all the staff are friendly and excellent. The food is VERY good, with a varied and interesting menu. My last visit was for Sunday lunch, which was excellent as always. The restaurant was very busy, but the tables are spaced and there was no music, which was welcome and enabled conversation! It was a very pleasant experience!

We like coming to the Stamford Bridge because of the good food, the friendly staff and the general atmosphere and once again they did not disappoint.

Four of visited the Stamford Bridge Inn for a meal on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent and good value. Service was excellent too. We had asked for a quieter location and they fixed that too. Will definitely go back again.

What a lovely treat - we drove from Manchester to meet family visiting from Canada and we’re so glad we did The food was fantastic, the staff were pleasant and professional and it was a lovely venue. We will definitely making the drive from Manchester again

Called in on the way home what an excellent meal we had, my husbands chicken was so succulent, and my smoked haddock was very tasty and dessert was lovely, great customer service from the staff who were very pleasant

Came for my birthday meal with my partner the menu was really good different foods to suit everyone I had the game casserole it was the best tasting meal I have had for a long time the waitress was very helpful and excellent customer service I noticed that The Stamford bridge was dog friendly and their was a good play area at the back for children Overall I had a great meal and desert Well done excellent

Incredible food and service! Sunday lunch here is delicious (not my first visit). Very good selection of vegetarian options (for my friend). The restaurant was exceptionally busy but that did not affect the standard of food or service. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone & everyone. I had also visited under 2 weeks previous for a mid-week celebration. I had 3 courses (unlike me). Every single course was mouth watering & I thoroughly enjoyed it (as did my friend). Give it a try - you will not be disappointed!

We have used this pub 2 days in a row, the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive and polite. Both meals we had where fulfilling, home made and delicious. Even on a busy evening or the Sunday afternoon they had availability.

It was an excitable moment when we got ready to go out for our first’ meal’ in 8 months. We chose The Stamford Bridge because the staff, meal and environment are friendly, tasteful and cosy. It lived up to our expectations😊

Christmas Day lunch with family, under Covid guidelines, BUT what a friendly, professional service that exceeded expectations. Food and service wonderful, made to feel at home without feeling nervous of restrictions. Food is always excellent. The staff are all, without exception, friendly, welcoming and professional. Meticulous in social distancing. Although we were one of the first guests on Sunday the inn was already warm and the fires were blazing.

Had a lovely day with the wife & son at Chester Zoo and decided that we’d finish off with a nice meal on the way home.I booked in advance on their website; the alerts provided were clear & informative and everything was really easy follow.We arrived early and were able to be sat down- the pub is definitely well prepared and thought out in terms of COVID and we were sat promptly.Throughout the service was wonderful and the food was amazing- I went for the duck breast, the wife went for the Stamford burger and our son had the child’s meal deal. The food was well presented and tasted as good as it looked! We finished off with a cheese board... because why not :-)As always, a great experience crowning a great day.

Another great meal, the staff here are welcoming, attentive and efficient. The food has not disappointed in the last few times we have visited. They are operating in difficult times and they are doing it very well and are very covid aware. We will keep returning

We don’t usually go out for a Sunday roast but as it was our anniversary we decided to have a break from cooking, what a treat we had! The roasts were delicious with plenty of meat and veg, all of which were perfectly cooked. We are never disappointed eating here. The staff are so friendly and always remember you. The service was as efficient as ever. We highly recommend eating at this lovely, cosy pub. All covid precautions were taken so we felt very safe. Well done to all the staff.

Hemos estado en este restaurante muchas veces a lo largo de los años, pero lo creas o no, nuestro primer asado de domingo, ¡Oh, vaya! Estábamos tan contentos de habernos saltado un entrante ya que ambas comidas eran porciones muy generosas. La cena de pavo que tuve fue tan tierna que se derritió en mi boca, un enorme pudín de yorkshire, muchas verduras diferentes, asados, carne de salchicha y un montón de salsa deliciosa. Mi compañero eligió la panceta con chicharrones y la retrasó como la mejor que había probado. Estábamos "cena de Navidad llena" sin espacio para el postre.No me puedo quejar.El servicio fue impecable, el personal fue muy educado y acogedor, lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Una comida de cumpleaños perfecta.

Gran lugar, en un lugar muy hermoso y tranquilo. El restaurante es muy bonito decorado con un ambiente "hogareño". El personal es absolutamente profesional con un aperitivo para la hospitalidad. Definitivamente regresa. Hummus, ternera y pan como entrante, langostinos y pato como plato principal, todo delicioso, el hummus es el mejor. No pudimos comer postre pero tenían una lista variada.

Pésimo. . . . . . ordenó el risotto. La porción era minúscula en el mejor de los casos para 11. 85 (creo) Cuando pregunté si ese era el tamaño correcto de porción, me dijeron que sí. No lo podía creer. Al final, trajeron otra 1/2 (sí 1/2) porción que no era la original y estaba líquida, por lo que terminaron sin comerla. ¡Mi hija tenía 6 fichas y yo 8 fichas! He sido un habitual en este establecimiento, pero ambos acordamos tiempo para comenzar a buscar en otro lado.

No habíamos estado aquí este año debido a Covid. Las precauciones fueron las requeridas y tuvimos una comida deliciosa en una habitación agradable, también hay un área exterior cubierta y un jardín, continuaremos yendo en el futuro

Habíamos espiado este gran pub rural en el camino y decidimos llamar en el camino de regreso de una empresa de compras fallida a Winsford. Mientras bebíamos una pinta de Lowry, pensamos que este pub parecía tener mucho en común, y cervezas de barril, con The Mount Inn. Resulta que ambos son administrados por Hyde's Brewery.

Visited this pub with a few friends, staff were very vattentative, the food was even better. Can't fault it

Primera visita. La comida estaba muy buena, aunque tardó bastante en salir, pero estaba relativamente ocupada debido al plan de comer fuera para ayudar, así que no me molestó demasiado. Ambiente agradable y personal amable. Mi único problema fue lo que parecía ser la falta total de medidas de COVID. Ningún miembro del personal con visera o máscara, ningún sistema unidireccional para chocar con la gente al salir y alrededor del restaurante, el personal se mueve entre las mesas con poco espacio. Fue un poco sorprendente dado que todos los demás restaurantes o pubs que he visitado hasta ahora tienen más en su lugar de los que vi ese día, lamentablemente. Más preocupado por el personal (algunos que parecían estar siendo entrenados), estar cerca de tanta gente sin protección.

We stopped in for a Sunday lunch, we had the shared platter, which was definitely worth while, very filling. Fabulously friendly and accommodating staff, lovely environment 😊

Visited today for a family lunch and the Stamford Bridge did not disappoint. The food and the service is excellent, the dining area is spacious and comfortable. The price accurately reflects the quality of food. The staff particularly excelled today as my daughter was unwell. I couldn't praise them enough for their service. Will definitely visit again.

The food, service and ambience were perfect! We sat in the conservatory which was lovely. The four meals were enjoyed by all and all delivered in good time too, despite the restaurant being full. All COVID 19 guidelines adhered to and can’t wait to visit again soon!!

We were staying in the local village, Tarvin and wanted a nice meal out on the last night of our stay. We were not disappointed!We received a very warm welcome, all staff were lovely, especially the staff member Natasha.The food and service was excellent. That good in fact that we decided to go the very next day for lunch before we set off for home. What a gem of a place. Nothing was too much trouble and our little puppy was welcome and loved.If we're ever back in the area then we will definitely be going back!Thank you xxx

The food and customer service were exceptional. On arrival we were asked by Tash if we had booked as it gets busy and despite not pre-booking we were led to a table in the conservatory which had just been cleaned down which was reassuring. The staff were pleasant and cheerful and our waitress Tory accepted and delivered all of our special requests superbly. The ale was good, the fish n chips was delicious, the linguine was fine tuned to my wife's request and the mini puds and coffee's were simply scrummy. Despite the pub being busy, the careful planning of social distancing between tables made us feel at ease. All this and 50% off, - no brainer

We were welcomed well on arrival and we asked to sit outside . We sat at table and waiter took our contact / trace details . The pub was well organised for social distancing . A cheerful waitress took our drinks order and told us to come to bar to order food . My daughter ordered small fish and chips , my son had duck spring roll and beef burger and I had chicken Caesar salad . The waiter brought the starter and dumped it on table and walked off , no cutlery! My daughter went and collected some . When the same waiter brought the main meals ,once again he just put them on table with no comment and left the starter plate on the table . Again we had no cutlery or condiments and had to ask which seemed to annoy the waiter . I appreciate during a certain time of comfort that maybe staff are more stressed but courtesy should not be lost .The food was poor , my daughters fish was Luke warm and very greasy . The chips were dreadful tasting of almost rancid oil . We did not eat . The burger was overcooked and tough . My Caesar salad was overwhelmed with a large quantity of tough chewy chicken .The bill should have been £52 but we paid £29 on the government scheme . Still felt robbed . Won’t return .

This dining pub was taken over some time ago by Hydes brewery, we decided to go for lunch . There have been some alterations and improvements in the meantime.there is now a large conservatory which will be very nice in the warmer months. The menu is quite varied and reasonably priced. We had scampi and a really rich beef and ale pie which came with a proper short crust pastry topping, this is far better than the usual flaky pastry which is not even cooked with the pie. Will certainly visit again.

After several previous disappointing meals we tried Stamford Bridge again for Sunday Lunch as this small pub chain (Hydes) serve great Sunday lunches. We were not disappointed as the dinners were very good, fresh tasty veg, large Yorkshire and a very generous meat portion. Service was a bit slow as lady who showed us to our reserved table forgot us (they were busy) but after a reminder everything was fine.

my wife and i were staying in the area and had passed this pub a few times and said it looked a nice place,well looks were very much not deceiving.first of all i rang to see if it was dog friendly the person who answered the phone had one of the best telephone manners i have heard in a long time, telling me that we would be most welcome with our dog and looked forward to seeing us.on our arrival we were met with a genuine warm welcome and here was were i hit my first problem. the variety of ales available is incredible there is something to please any beer drinker. i had three good pints of some of the best kept ales i have had in a long time.out of the three I preferred the stamford bridge at 3.7% a very good session ale.now to the food we were presented with three menu's a fixed price the full menu and as it was national pie week a pie menu talk about spoiled for choice. i opted for fish and chips and my wife had the chicken bacon and cheddar pie. they arrived quickly and fresh my wife said the pie was the best she had had in a long time beautiful flaky pastry and loads of delicious filling. my fish and chips were equally as good a generous peice of fish and loads of lovely thick cut chips. for desert i had apple pie and my wife had jam roly poly both served with lashings of thick dairy custard.All i can say is I cannot agree with the negative reviews of this pub, the management and staff have got it spot on when it comes to service, i have visited many establishments that have had good reviews only to leave disappointed, on this occasion i can stress 100% that it is well worth a visit. well done to all at the Stamford Bridge, Tarvin, Chester

Four of us met for a meal at The Stamford Bridge where we have been many times before and had a lovely meal. Last Friday was a totally different visit unfortunately. We all ordered starters which we would class as ok. The mains arrived two of us had scampi one had rump steak and the fourth had a duo of lamb priced at £17.95 which was described on the menu as rump of lamb, shepherds pie and veg. When it arrived it consisted of 3 carrots a small amount of some leafy green veg 4 very small pieces of lamb rump and an egg cup portion of shepherds pie. To say he was very disappointed is an under statement. We spoke to the waitress and then the manager when asked if she thought this meal was worth £17.95She responded with our menus and portion sizes are sent to us from head office I will pass on your comments, Not a very satisfactory response we thought no money was knocked off the bill or any apology given. Four very disappointed customers who will not be returning anytime soon.

After having a bad experience at another place. Our friend and my husband decided to drive to Chester for something to eat.We stopped at the Stamford bridge as it looked really pretty lit up in the dark. As soon as we walked in we received a warm welcome by the girl on the bar. We sat down and ordered some food. I had the plant based burger and chips my friend ordered a chicken pie and my husband ordered the sausages and mash. The food came fairly quickly and was really enjoyed by all of us.But the staff was what made the place for me. The waiter and waitress who came to our tables were excellent, very friendly and equally professional. We will definitely pop in again when in the area.

This is a huge dining pub about 3 miles from the A55/M53 heading east.We chose it as it advertised itself as being 10 minutes from Chester Zoo, which our friends confirmed it was.Not really a pub - very limited drinking area; more an enormous restaurant wirth a bar.Very tastefully decorated and feels warm and cosy even when full.The huge menu filled me with dread - how could so many dishes be freshly prepared ?Well I certainly didn't need to worry - I chose the chicken breast from the specials menu and was highly impressed. It was baked with pancetta and served with a cassoulet of butter beans, chorizo, tomatoes and all the rest. Nice and garlicky plus a punch from the paprika - very good indeed.One of our friends had the bacon steak which we expected to be gammon by another name but turned out to be a chunky lean piece of pork char-grilled.My wife & I thought the steak & ale pie looked a bit mean but we were assured it was good.The only sour note was the veggie wrap. It was filled with something described as "oumph!" which my wife really disliked. Research after showed it to be a proprietary soya-based product which vegan's are currently going for - we strongly disliked it but that was hardly the pub's fault.Service was a bit slow but given how busy the place was that can be forgiven.Prices were excellent considering the area - my dish was £11.95 and certainly worth more.And 5* for the capuccino - way better than normal.Just be careful in the car park - it's a bit small and spaces are tight if you have a large car.

Excellent steak meal, cooked to my liking, my only disappointing part was the dessert, supposed to be a sherry trifle as listed on menu,when it came it was mainly cream and I couldn't taste any sherry.

4 of us visited the restaurant for food and drink. On arrival we were greeted with a charming waitress who escorted us to our table. She was very polite and friendly. The food was exceptional and very tasty. I had the steak and my wife and friends had different types of fish. We visited the Stamford Bridge today for a light lunch today. Both of us opted for the brie and caramelized onions on ciabatta (one with bacon too) and a portion of chips.The food was excellent, very well presented and enough for a light lunch instead of a full meal. Chips were homemade which is always a bonus! I must also compliment the staff on the great service we received. The lady that brought our meals was very polite and friendly, a real credit to the place.It has been a couple of years since we have been to the Stamford Bridge, we will certainly be back soon.

Excellent service and great food. The service was very attentive and welcoming. Food was of a great standard. Lovely setting and decor. Spicy chicken for stater was delicious and white chocolate rice pudding lovely for desert. If we are being picky 2 of us had steak pies and the meat was chewy in parts but it didn’t spoil it. Highly recommend this restaurant you have to give it a try!

Service awful and had to ask for everything from menus to clearing the table once finished for 10 minutes.

A rare catch up with the clan over the festive period, was brilliant to be able to have either the xmas fayre or the main menu, for me, as I had worked xmas I went for the set menu, and in particular the roast was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and I could not fault the service. Will definitely be back, and well before next Xmas! The gent with glasses (manager) was brilliant from booking in to leaving.

WE called in today for a drink and light lunch, after a slow welcome we had a very nice lunch of Fish and chips and Ling of the day both went down well!! good range of real ales on offer as we as wine and other drinks.

We have visited The Stamford Bridge on a number of occasions and the food is very good. We received an email offering 33% off main meals Mon-Thurs throughout January and booked to go on Thursday 2nd January. Despite mentioning when ordering as stated, the 33% was not discounted when paying (which we didn't notice until we got home). Anyone else taking advantage of the offer should ask to see an itemised bill before paying to ensure the discount is applied.

We booked this meal for Boxing Day for all my family this was our Christmas dinner because most of us work all Christmas Day plus it was to celebrate our new granddaughter two days old we were disappointed this is what we was served one sprout no carrot s tasteless soup and 1 rare steak

I have visited the Stamford bridge on a number of occasions, whether it be for just a drink, a family get together or a meal with my partner.

Loved it here when we went on Christmas Eve. The staff made a huge fuss of my children with a selection box each and an activity pack. My Ribeye was delicious and all washed down with a large Pinot Noir! The kids ate everything on their plate too, which is sometimes difficult. Thumbs up from us!

Came here for a meal with my girlfriend about a month ago and have been back weekly! Amazing food and amazing service! Couldn’t recommend it anymore!

Once again the staff excelled themselves with the service and excellent food. There were 5 in our party and we all had a different selection of choices all of which were delicious and yes we were all full after. We have been going to The Stamford Bridge in Chester on Christmas Eve for a number of years and we will continue to visit for our Christmas treat. Thank you Stamford Bridge for the lovely evening.

First of all I would like to thank the staff for looking after us and cooking so well for us for our Christmas dinner.All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was a treat.We were three generations who all enjoyed a wonderful experience.As we left,feeling very full and happy,the adults were each handed a gift of a little bottle of craft gin.Again,thank you all so much.

Lot of fun, great atmosphere for the quiz and lovely meal before it started. Pulled beef lasagne followed by Crumble with extra custard was a brilliant option! Would recommend!

I went here a couple of days ago with my family. The service was great and they were able to cater for everyone. There is a great selection of gluten free meals. The fish pie was so tasty, we'll definitely be coming back!

Vine aquí con mi familia hace un par de días y todo lo que puedo decir es. . . ¡INCREÍBLE! ! ! ! ! ! Comencemos por decir qué excelente equipo de personal, cada uno de ellos hace su parte para asegurarse de que todo sea perfecto para nosotros. Estaban muy ocupados (como se esperaba durante la época de Navidad), pero incluso se tomaron el tiempo para explicarle a Mi esposo la elección de los más grandes y darle a mi hija un poco de color. Tuve el pavo asado del menú de Navidad y fue perfecto, en todos los sentidos y el personal estaba feliz de conseguirme un poco de salsa extra para alimentar mi extrema obsesión por la salsa. Mi marido tenía el pastel de carne y cerveza y comió cada pedacito! ! ¡Dijo que era el mejor pastel que había probado en su vida! Es una pena que estén completamente reservados para Navidad (aunque puedo ver por qué) porque me encantaría estar aquí para eso. De todos modos, volveré muy pronto!

Entramos para una comida familiar después de las compras navideñas. El restaurante tenía un ambiente acogedor: Leah nos mostró nuestra mesa y nos explicó el menú, hizo un gran trabajo. La comida era muy buena y no había que esperar por las bebidas o las comidas, el servicio era excelente.

Hemos visitado The Stamford Bridge muchas veces y esta crítica está muy atrasada. La comida, el servicio, el ambiente y la relación calidad-precio son geniales. Siempre recibí una cálida bienvenida, incluso cuando no hemos reservado y está muy ocupado. El equipo es muy servicial, amable y profesional y se adapta a cualquier solicitud especial tanto como sea posible. Los asados del domingo son excelentes y tan abundantes que de hecho nunca hemos tenido una mala comida.
