On A Roll in Cheshire West and Chester

Great tasting and great value. Was there for work and I’ll certainly be going back when I’m up this way again. Veg was fresh and crisp and bread was light and airy. A great little tucked away find.

Lovely sandwich shop, stayed at the nearby Premier Inn and called for breakfast, really nice and the lady serving was really nice...

Al tener un descanso de la cantina de trabajo, pensé que probaría este lugar. Pedí una baguette de ternera con tomate. La carne era horrible. Bomba barata llena de textura de agua de jamón barato. . . no es lo que esperaba, el pan estaba bien. La rodaja de almendra era deliciosa, pero en el futuro me quedaré en mi cantina de trabajo. . .

Visité hace un tiempo y los sándwiches recién hechos eran muy buenos pero en visitar de nuevo me decepcionó un poco, ya relleno, eran un poco escasos

Great litte cafe. Great service, friendly, rest room (toilet) and you can sit outside, it's right at the beginning of the city centre and the shopping area, so you can fuel up on energy before you start shopping..:) They make a good coffee and serve tasty cake, inexpensive.

Always great good freshly prepared, the salad box is my favourite lots of choice hot and cold. Very good value and lovely staff

As a busy carer driving around Chester I saw this little shop and thought I'd pop in fresh food made there and then very nice and I have returned a few times.

I use this deli only now and again and its overall very good. The staff are generally nice and friendly and service is quick. I have had the soup a few times and its fine (bit salty). The Jackets are excellent and you can choose any filling you like. The sandwiches are generally decent and they have a range of breads & salad to choose from.

We have been going to On a Roll for over a year now. The ladies working there are friendly, helpful and always get our order ready when we phone through. We eat the food from there (made freshly) daily and it is very good. Only note, if you have a breakfast roll, ask for doubles otherwise you don't get it loaded with breakfast goodies which we greedy pigs love! BSM

I work just round the corner from here and have been about 5 times, but dont go anymore. When browsing the menu, which is situated above the counter, the ladies just stand there and stare at you. Even when I say "I'm just having a look" they will literally stand right in front of you and wait until you have decided....very awkward and always makes me rush my choice. Even if this didnt happen, the sandwiches are all very bland and clearly they use inferior products. Steer clear.
