En route to Wales, we enjoyed a mid day lunch with a variety of items. All the choices were well worth the wait: pizza, chicken burger meals, Kurdish kofta and a mixed shawarma. The latter was mildly dry but the condiments on offer were a great enhancer. Overall, a pleasant experience for the group. Complimentary lentil soup with naan were an added bonus.

Great food, quick and friendly service by all the staff, I felt very welcoming, food was delicious 😋 and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get 😋. I ordered falafel and it comes with salad, 2 salsas and an amazing Arab bread 😋😋, they served me at the begging a lentil soup for free and everything was DELICIOUS! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you like Middle Eastern food, this is the right place to go! Thank you so much 🙏🏼😊

The food was average. It's not too bad or good. The environment was good. And the staff behaves well.

The food was very bland. I had the mix shawarma thinking the last time I ate, may have been a one off bad day in the kitchen. I was proven wrong. Terrible food, terrible service, and the people seemed very rushed although it was quiet and very ill mannered.

Worse food ever I tried. Service is really poor. Order mix grill £39.99 it really bad quality food. old meat and chicken really bad smell came it must be 3 to 5 days old I have told to the waiter. No action taken. Even surprised rice had bad small. It's over 2 days old rice. Salad tomato bad small. Chicked wing Nothing fresh at all. Expect nan bread. .never go to there resturent. Really bad experience.

Good meal in general, nothing too fancy of course but food was delicious, attention was good and venue/facilities were clean (including the toilets). Staff was friendly and approachable. Will recommend the combo meal for 2 that may be enough for 2 adults and 2 kids if you order an extra dish to complement.

Been going to this place for over 3 years and recent change of staff has made this place unfriendly. Went last night asking for bread. All kurdish owned shops sell 3 naans for a certain price. I asked for it, the server was adamant they can't sell bread on its own despite having enough dough in the back as I could see it. I had to pay £5 for a overcooked naan with hummus (store bought). Or if I just wanted naan, I had to order a shawarma platter at £9 or £10 each. I am an old customer who has spent money loads of time here as well as other shops (burger nest being one of them) on Brook street and usually goto Kurdish shops in Deeside too. These guys don't represent kurdish hospitality and/or friendliness. Hope they have better staff next time, who can cook better and look after customers too!

Tried this place wanting to try somewhere new. Was very disappointed. Ordered 2 chicken shawarma wraps. Chicken was very dry and they missed the garlic mayo of one. The portion size was not worth the money we paid. Only thing that was nice was the chips. We will not be returning in the future

I don't often go to the hassle of leaving a review but thought it worth while for these thieves. Put order in online, for delivery. The eta was pushed back over 1-hour, there phone was of the hook all night and no food arrived!!

Justeat delivered wrong order from multiple drop off. The lady on the phone resolved the complaint and was very pleasant.

Absolute rip off. For the price I paid I thought it would at least serve 2 people. It was a treat for myself and was going to share with my boyfriend. Not even enough for me. I’m still starving and my bf has had nothing. The lamb was chewy and the chicken was hard and dry. Paid £20 for the food which I could have got for half the price and larger amount at any other place and with service fee and delivery was around £24. What a waste of money. Only good thing I could possibly say is that the meat seemed healthy and wasn’t dripping in grease and oil.

Never disappointed the food is wonderful

This would have been a pleasant experience. The food was nice enough and reasonably priced (what we had). However there was some anti-social behaviour with two customers going into the toilets to take drugs. It was obvious what they were doing but staff turned a blind eye. This didn't make for the most comfortable dining experience and we left when the couple started arguing. A child walked into the area and was quickly ushered out by their parent. Altogether- a strange experience!'

Although I'm not vegan I had a very nice spicy mixed bean salad starter Excellent potato curry with rice man bread and some chipate was on a works break and George I think served me very fast and was helpful with menu choice.i didn't think vegan food could taste this good will visit again when in Chester .

Love coming here and sitting in , always get free soup which is so good and mixed shawarmas are so nice with home made bread and home made sauces and fresh salad Really good quality food

I didn't like the atmosphere in there at all, it was too dark and very compact. However, an elderly man fell over and staff were very quick to help (kudos to you). The food came quite quickly as well. I can't rate the food because I didn't eat any but my support workers did.

Pretty much an average turks/kurdish kinda place. Ordered the mix grill and let me tell yah that was the worse kobeda kebab i have ever had. I don't know whether it was grilled in an oven or fried with the chips. Clearly no taste whatsoever. Overall the chicken tikka/lamb tikka were ok.

Picked up our dinner of 3 kebabs once opened the smell of fish was disgusting our kebabs were meant to be chicken and lamb the taste was disgusting we threw them straight in thd bin what a waste of 40 pound never again

Shame about this experience as I have enjoyed the food here in the past. Paid and ordered online but they hadn't started cooking when I arrived, they seem to make a habit of this which makes ordering in advance pointless. Waited for the food to be cooked, the bread was very dry and each dish was supposed to have salad and sauce but they only put one of each in the bag.

Have eaten here a number of times as well as other Middle Eastern restaurants in Chester. The food here is always tops and excellent value for money. You can watch staff prepare your meal and suggest minor changes as they put it together - i.e. more of this, less of that, hot sauce please. And they are honestly concerned that you enjoyed your meal. I really look forward to my next meal there

Best place in Chester for a Shawarma, they have great selection of foods and all cooked to order. I go there quite often for my shawarma fix.

Tried this after recommendation from a pal. Had a takeaway delivered of a large chicken kebab which at £15 including chips is a lot, so I was expecting great things. What turned up was a pile of dried up, chewy, stringy bits of chicken with a dry piece of naan bread.

Ordered takeaway wrap, they make the pitta bread in house, but the underside of it was burnt black and left a horrible taste after one bite. There were also some gritty bits no idea what that was but the thing was inedible.

Was voted the best in Chester. It was the worst we have had the dog loved it. The lamb had gristle in every piece. The chips were cold. The salad was nothing special. This was a takeaway

Been here a few times, for takeaway and eat in, food is excellent, and well priced and the staff very friendly, definately the best takeaway/restaurant in chester by far, keep up the good work guys, chester has far too many takeaways that are more like soup kitchens for the homeless unlike yours! Absolutely delicious food here, that Pizza was a proper Pizza, the Seabass is not plain like many places and actually tasted amazing, wings were good too, but again that Pizza was proper good.

It was a really good experience, the rice was delicious 😋, and stuff were friendly.

My first impression was given by the veg in the display that had gone off. Then when he was preparing my food the chef was blowing his nose and holding the snotty tissue in hand while preparing my food with the other. Not very sanitary especially with covid going around. Should have least gone to the toilets and blown his nose there and then washed his hands. Tbh don't think he should have been preparing food at all if he was sick. I would have walked out had I not already paid. Then when I got my order there was no chips. I asked for them and the woman very rudely held the receipt up to my face as if she thought I was lying but then saw I had indeed paid for chips. I then had to wait for them to be made while my the rest of my food was getting cold. I can't believe she was so rude when it was their mistake. The salad was limp and just about edible. Wouldn't go back there. I have since tried another kebab shop in Brook St which was far better, cleaner and the salad was fresh. I know where I will be going in future

Lovely clean place with friendly staff and very nice food. When we ate inside we even got a free bowl of soup and the cost was the same as takeaway. The review that said 'disgusting' had clearly never been there as it definitely cannot be described like that.

Had a takeaway here on the way home from the races - service was a tad slow but the food is absolutely amazing - nice restaurant and I will now revisit for a sit down meal food is so tasty middle Eastern food could become my favourite 👍

Delicious food served here, brought a chicken and lamb shwarma plus a whole roast chicken served with naan bread and chilli sauce, absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. The customer service was very good too. Prices are very very reasonable considering the quality you are getting. Will definitely visit again when visiting Chester.

I orderd something from this place i live at about 5 minutes from the restaurant they told me 45 min after 1h I called them and they told me 15 min 2h passed and they didn't show up!!Same!!👎👎👎

Visited today. Good customer service and food. Quarter pounder had the biggest fillet I have seen. Wife and kids loved the food. Will visit again when i am in this part of UK next.

The foods usually good but the chubby one tried to blame me for not wanting to wait for my food when I asked for a refund after he forgot about my order & then only remembered 5 mins before I had to walk back to work. His argument was “you’re wasting my stock” even though I’d consumed my entire hour break waiting for the food.

Recommended by a friend. Had the chicken shawarma. Nice size. Absolutely gorgeous salad and just so tasty. I've had shawarma before but was let down by the greasy and boney meat. This however was just delicious. Will definitely be coming back. To boot, they sold Rio tropical which I don't often see and they also sell baklava. Lovely service too.

Found staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food was testy, visited this place many times before, enjoyed different meals 😋.

Ordered for 6.30-7PM and they were knocking our door at 6PM, totally busy and inconvenient time. I managed to go open the door and the delivery guy showed up without mask and without trying to keep any distance. Seeing me surprised for the timing he also insisted quite unpolitely how the delivery was correct pushing me to take the food with hurry. Absolutely a "never again" experience.

Since I visit this place , I believe I have seen at least 3 sets of owners . Everytime you visit , the food is different and taste is different, staff keep changing and it's a bit unorganized now, the quality of food is lowered and the price is quite high for what you can get.
