nice spot, with seating indoors & out. Great selection of cakes/pastries and a pretty good menu with a specials board. really nice that brunch options are served all day. I gave a lower score only because we were let down a bit by service & food quality. At the till there was a little confusion as they didn't have everything i ordered - but i thought sorted out until at the table realised i had been overcharged, which they did correct after going back! The food arrived quickly and looked good - but we had 2 dishes that turned out really very salty. I'm not sure if it was just a mistake, but it spoiled the hot food.

Stopped here for some breakfast and on entering we were met by a very cheerful friendly lady who showed us to a table. We had a yummy breakfast, it was delicious, together with some great coffee. All the staff were attentive, happy, and cheerful. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely go again when visiting Aldeburgh!

We had an outstanding lunch here today. We were just driving past and stopped in for some lunch. Everything about the experience was top quality: The sandwiches were made with fresh-baked bread and absolutely filled with high quality meats and salad. The ‘freshly squeezed to order’ orange juice was divine. The pot of tea came with an extra teabag and a promise of extra boiling water if needed. The staff were helpful, smiley and attentive. All in all, a wonderful experience. 10/10.

We normally enjoy a coffee and tea here after a good walk. I have to say i am wondering what the policy is for DOGS here as today while sitting outside not only are Owners allowing their dogs to sit on the benches/seats but also letting a dog onto the table. Whilst we live in a time where we all have to tolerate four legged friends everywhere i find it abhorrent to have to occupy a seat or table and consume food and drink where a dog has done this? Surely this has to be STOPPED.Why can,t dogs remain seated on the floor[bottoms and anal glands need i say more?] I would love to see the Cafe being more proactive with doggy rules in the outside eating area please.

I genuinely adore this cafe. In my family, our days out in Felixstowe are classified as single, double or triple View Point. On a nice day we might just swing by for brunch and then go to the beach for the rest of the day (single View Point). But in rainy February visits, we have tea and cake on arrival, lunch after a rainy walk, and after another walk we have tea and chips before we drive home (triple View Point (we have actually done this)). More commonly we grab a cup of tea and watch the docks, very entertaining, and then lunch/brunch (double View Point). The menu has everything you could ever want - great all-day breakfast options, fish and chips, and every combination of such items you could want. They have lots of extras and smaller portions as well so you can mix and match. The lovely staff don't bat an eyelid whether you're ordering fish fingers at 10am or sausage and chips at 4pm. Teas and coffees from a machine but a good machine, and we're not fancy. Tea is £1.70 which is about as cheap as it gets these days. Tea cakes, scones and muffins are nice too. We love it here because everyone can get exactly what they want. Simple things like cheese on toast are great for kids too! Good prices and fast service. However busy it seems we always manage to find a corner with a view of the docks, which is a unique dining experience. We have been fans for a few years now and will be returning for many years in future!

After a hard week I was really looking forward to going out for dinner but when the person, an older man who is usually ok but must’ve been having an off day ! Just muttered to me from the start & Only bothers to take one step to find us a table when it was obviously not the best one of what was free, just muttering still when I asked for a different table away from the draught of the door & chucking the menus on each table & having the cheek to verbally ask if we were giving a tip at the end ! I know anyone can have an off day but if you do a front of house job, you have to hide it, I have a front of house job & his behaviour spoilt my experience! Other staff were pleasant

Visited Monday and was really happy with our visit. The food was great, it was nice to see something different, there was a lot of effort put into the menu and lots of options. We ordered two soft drinks, the Mexican flatbread and fishfinger wrap, both of which were excellent and very fresh: I wouldn't be surprised if the tartare sauce was made from scratch. We sat outside with our dog and the views were lovely, toilets were clean and staff polite, I couldn't fault anything really. Will return when next in the area.

Disappointing, the Saturday lunchtime wall menu showed a choice of Jacket Potatoes but none were available, so we ordered sausage rolls with salad but after waiting towards thirty minutes, a waitress returned our money informing us that they had sold out of them as well. We left.

We Visited The White Horse for Lunch on our way home from Cornwall. We had 2 rounds of drinks, lunch and a pudding. The choice on the menu was good, there was plenty to choose from. We had a burger, 2x fish and chips and a gammon steak. The food was excellent and was the best meal we had all week. The pub was nicely furnished, the landlord was attentive and the food arrived quickly. I would highly recommend The White Horse if you are passing or looking for somewhere to eat. We would happily go back again.
