So under rated when it comes to breakfasts. Their muffins meal are far nicer and fresher and importantly hotter then the more famous Mc ones. Well worth a visit if you are in town for a breakfast
This was a great experience. We often have a weekend brunch out and like to try different places. This was the best coffee we had had anywhere - really notable! We loved the staff, very friendly and helpful. Tables were well spaced so we didn’t have other people too close. The menu and the food were good too.
The place was decorated for Christmas and looked wonderful. In the summer you would enjoy the sunlight as it is really light and airy with a lot of windows and a high ceiling. It was also clean. Parking right outside was convenient too. Prices were similar to brunch elsewhere, so mid-range.
Recommended.
Ordered this from the “specials” board, and by god was it special.
My initial forage with the fork found an abundance of veg, which I thought was good. But then the second forkful was vegetables again, the meat was virtually non existent.
I am not fussy really, but this was ridiculous and can’t fathom anyone actually constructing this and selling it.
It came with a side of veg, which would have been nice if I hadn’t been vegged up.
I’d say it’s wins the award for the worst thing I’ve eaten in at least a decade.
It is basically a blob of potato on a load of veg served with instant gravy from the Co Op which we saw the waitress come in with after we ordered it.
Not edible, tasted awful and no meat and you can’t serve that thinking isn’t credible.
The missus had a jacket spud which was okay. Staff decent.
I’ve called in every Tuesday for the last 6 months, and every time the cod and chips have been great, bigger than the average portions and cooked to perfection. And prices are lower than most other places in the area.
We visited the bakery today. The lady who served me was friendly. The Belgian bun was very scrumptious and very reasonably priced. The bakery had a lovely feel about it. The bakery was not busy at the time of visiting and all reasonable coronavirus measures were in place.
Ver disappointed. Two young girls on duty who were indifferent to our questions. We sat down and neither came to ask if we needed drinks before ordering. There was only one other family in the restaurant. Left without ordering. Have been before with better results but not happy with the lack of service.
We stayed in one of the lodges for a few days and really enjoyed our stay. Very well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. Hot tub hit the right note after a days sightseeing. Well designed so each lodge has privacy. Didn’t try restaurant and water sports not open yet but we would stay here again. One constructive criticism is there were a lot of insects so flyscreens at door and windows would be good so they can be left open when it’s hot it’s also ideal location for exploring Woodbridge and Framingham. Not too far from Aldeburgh And Sutton Hoo an interesting visit.
There are many coffee bars in town but this one is pretty good especially the coffee.
Additional tables and chairs have been added at the price of loosing one corner soft seating area.
Apart from the good coffee the cafe is dog friendly. Pastries are best just after coming out of the oven especially the apricot ones.
Outdoor seating is available weather permitting.
Sadly we were disappointed with our food - the Cod was over cooked and dry whilst the Haddock was coated in raw batter.
This chip shop used to be so good but seems to have gone downhill in recent months.
Stayed here for the Easter Break from good Friday till the Monday.
Such a lovely feel to this hotel. The food on Saturday evening was to die for we had our friends join us and all had Beef Wellington and all agreed the best one we have ever had !
Second time staying at this hotel and would definitely go back as staff and management are lovely.
Discovered this little Café 3 weeks ago whilst visiting the nearby Katie's Nursery plant centre - it truly is a delight to this old vegetarian - had the best Nourish bowl and last Thursday a Humus Bowl - both delicious - there are meat dishes too so hubby enjoyed his and the cakes are to die for (if you have room) - there is a big under cover outside area with rugs on seats which is ideal fir walking parties- highly recommend this eating place
Went to Istanbul got there and saw this guy smashing his meat stick over the lamb donner and proceeded to then ask me to wait until the final climax before serving my food
Called in for a meal here on a week night. We were told to book, but really didn't need to as there were only 6 other people in at the time we were there. The food was excellent, as was the service, but the room we ate in was very tired and in need of refurbishment. That said, we would return for the good food.
