I’ve read some of the reviews and it seems that expectations have a lot to do with the comments. I know what to expect and I like it. If you want slick – don’t go. If you want real - then go. If you want a place where people go because they know each other – then go. I’ve had some good conversations about local events and places with the lady and gentleman who run it. Food and drink are fine – it might not suit everyone to see your breakfast cooked in view. Suits me fine.

Not too welcoming. We sat down and felt as if we inconvenienced the lady running the place by turning up. Ordering coffee we were given a French press and told it was made very strong (it would have been nice to have been asked if this was alright first!). Food took a while. When leaving we were notified they don’t take card and that we should go to the local newsagents, buy something small, and ask for cash back. Not too professional. Complete opposite to the lovely Cafe 46 just across the road!

Not a friendly welcome when entering the tearoom, I was met by an older lady who seemed like she couldn’t be bothered. The place smelt like stale smoke, most unpleasant. The tearoom seems quite dated and could do with an all over clean. I won’t be returning and would not recommend.

Popped in today for a cup of tea & a cake. We had our dog with us so sat outside. I walked inside the cafe to see what cakes were on offer & got given a filthy look from the woman serving & was snapped at to wait outside. I explained I was just looking to see what they had & asked if she wouldn’t mind filling my water bottle so I could give my dog a drink. Her reply was so abrupt & rude (NOT NOW!!!!!) we left without ever wanting to return. We are new to the area & if we’d been given a warm welcome would have definitely returned on future occasions. Cafe 46 for us in future. Serious staff training required.

Place was dirty and stuffy . Cups not washed properly . Very little attention to Covid guidelines . One member of staff was wearing a very dirty well worn paper mask . Kept touching it we were going to order food but just kept to the coffee . Won’t be going again

We stumbled across this place on our way to easton farm park, and while it was busy, we were accommodated on an outside table. We only wanted sandwiches , and when they came out, they were lovely, full, with side salad and crisps. Bear in mind it's only a small establishment , so expect a wait during busy times as limited seating. Very friendly staff!

Dropped in here after a morning walk, where the heavens had opened on us. Excellent soup and a drink all for under £10 (2 of us). The soup tasted and looked home made and was full of flavour

Discovered this little gem a couple of years ago during an extended bike ride. Not wishing to overburden my tummy, to accompany a large pot of tea I choose a ham and tomato sandwich on wholemeal with side salad. Enjoying my promptly served pot of Assam I was able to observe that each order, either from the menu or the specials board, placed by a steady stream of both locals and visitors, was individually prepared with much attention placed on customer preferences. My lunch was served just as I was finishing my first cup, the portion size was generous and both the ham and tomato most tasty, ingredients in the salad were crisp and fresh and, upon enquiring, was informed were sourced from the local produce market and consequently vary with the seasons. During the last two years or so my bike and I have become regular visitors to the Teapot Tearooms, not sure what the bike thinks, but I certainly think the mileage from North Norfolk is worth it

I cycle regularly and have the pleasure of stopping for coffee at many excellent cafés within a 20 mile radius of my home. I have visited Teapot several times before over the past 4 years but today was very different. On arrival I was asked whether I wanted my Americano coffee in a cup or mug and I chose a mug. Foolishly I hadn't checked the prices before ordering - a mug of very average coffee is £3!!!!! In my experience other excellent coffee stops charge between £1:30 and (exceptionally) £2 for much better prepared Americano. My advice is don't make the same mistake I did.

Just OK in every respect. We ordered a couple of paninis, a sausage roll and a few drinks. Service was prompt and polite, not friendly but I don't mind that. The food was served at different times, better if it all comes together. The panini fillings were not tasty at all and the paninis were both slightly burnt. The sausage roll was OK.

The scones here are something else! The cheese ones have a unique flavour, depending on what cheese is available. The fruit ones have a mind of their own. The service is friendly and laid back, and Robin’s joke posters are appallingly good!

The teapot goes from strength to strength! The new lunch club, formed after the success of the”tour of Britain lunch”, is fantastic. Pheasant and sweet potato mash, followed by delightful chocolate torte or trifle - superb, and all for £10. Great atmosphere, super service. Need to book in advance.

We went here for a Friday lunch whilst holidaying nearby. Friendly service, though not the quickest - but since we weren't in a hurry we didn't mind. I had a very nice panini and my husband really enjoyed his jacket potato. Lots of nice looking cakes too, though we didn't have any.Good value and nice food - would recommend.

The Teapot Pop Up 50's Tea 'Room' is a marvellous idea providing an excellent additional refreshment venue at the Wickham Town monthly market. 'Les Girls' perfectly adorned in their 50's outfits looking after the market shoppers who take advantage of yummy cakes, scones and light lunches.Of course the 'Grown up' Teapot Cafe is still operating just round the corner and open at the same time for those requiring something a bit more than tea n cakes of a light snack and Margaret, always entertaining and welcoming, moves effortlessly between the two ensuring that all tastes are satisfied. What a girl she is, how does she do it?

Visited Monday and was really happy with our visit. The food was great, it was nice to see something different, there was a lot of effort put into the menu and lots of options. We ordered two soft drinks, the Mexican flatbread and fishfinger wrap, both of which were excellent and very fresh: I wouldn't be surprised if the tartare sauce was made from scratch. We sat outside with our dog and the views were lovely, toilets were clean and staff polite, I couldn't fault anything really. Will return when next in the area.

Popped in with some friends after a local run. Pub pretty busy with people . Service quick and ordered our beers . Chap behind bar , assuming it was the landlord said we could sit out the back . We went out and it was too chilly so came back in . We stood near the bar to be rudely told that he didn’t want us standing there and there was seats around the corner and to go there. Whilst it may seem a little thing , whilst pubs are struggling, local support is what you need . However we had a better experience with the other bar staff , polar opposite . Won’t be popping in again.
