Istanbul Kebab House in Suffolk Coastal

Went to Istanbul got there and saw this guy smashing his meat stick over the lamb donner and proceeded to then ask me to wait until the final climax before serving my food

Popped in on the off chance and had a very nice tasty meal. Basic seating area but friendly service value for money.

Since extending from a take away to a restaurant they fulfill a need in Woodbridge for a reasonable place to eat. Their kebabs are great and our favorite takeaway meal, although we now have the choice to dine in. My ratings are based on my experience at other Kebab restaurants.

We ordered two kebabs for 8 pound not realising we didn’t actually get two kebabs just two lots meat in one ordered another for it to take ages my kids burger was awfull I ordered cheese cake for pudding and went to eat it frozen solid poor show eastanbul shame kebabs taste lovely

This place has really upped their game since I last visited - they have a seated restaurant out the back, which is straight forward but comfortable. The food however is first class, the kebabs are heavenly, my mouth is watering thinking about it :o) It's all very reasonably priced and the staff are enthusiastic and passionate about what they are doing. Will be going back regularly.

Lovely place, and we were worried as it looked a little different from the other places in Woodbridge however the food was lovely. The smell of the meats being cooked over the charcoal was what grabbed us and it didn't disappoint. They treated us really well, service was amazing and the manager offered us free drinks at the end of our meal and if we were local we would go again. Would recommend, just look beyond the take-away front and its a great place to sit down and eat a nice meal.

Tried this take away after its refurbishment tonight. Yes, the prices have gone up (approx. 20% I reckon) but it was worth it. The donar meat was all lamb, no processed stuff and the chicken meat was lovely. Hope it works out for you.

I have been going for years, but now it's more a restaurant than takeaway. The meat is now separate to the pitta bread and the salad comes in a little pot. I used to enjoy my slightly soggy bread!! Unfortunately the price has gone up considerably. It used to cost roughly £15 for two, now it's over £20. A massive increase. It was tasty, but it wasn't the same. I'm not sure we will bother again.

Turkish Kebab House - This restaurant has had a total refurbishment over the summer, they now have a seated restaurant area. We used the takeaway and the food quality has not changed, it is well cooked and very tasty. I like the way they now place the salad in a separate container. I would recommend the Takeaway, telephone orders are taken on 01394 380702. I will definitely use the restaurant in the future. They do have a website but have limited information on there at present.

Excellent char grilled meats and turkish salads for taking out. Quality and tenderness of meat is superb-all marinated. Healthy take out meal. The restaurant is new and authentic with a good choice of adult and child-friendly meals. Highly recommended. Will be back! Fabulous Turkuaz!

I really like Kebabs and tried this place, I chose the mixed after poking at the meat I wasn't to sure, it seemed over cooked, I ate it but wasn't very pleased and two other members in my group felt the same.two weeks later I visited again hopping it was a one off again I chose the mixed and so did my friends. It wasn't burn but the opposite under cooked out of the five that ate 3 was unwell the next day... I advise not to eat there it is a Russian roulette style cooking and not consistent This is un execrable especially in today's standards also not the cleanest of establishments either.

If we have a takeaway we find the grilled chicken kebab the healthiest option. Lots of grilled chicken, lots of salad and a pitta. Never been let down by their kebabs. Good size portion reasonably priced. Can't comment on other food they may do, but would recommend the above. Very nice.

I have visited this kebab house over many years as I live in Woodbridge. The kebabs are some the best i have ever had and generously filled. The mixed kebab is enormous and enough for two people with a good appetite. Turkish staff are not the most talkative but the food talks for itself.

I use this kebab shop when I go into town its good value and the staff are always friendly. Gets busy around tea time

Really great food here, especially like the pizzas which have really tasty fresh bases and are really generously topped! Lovely friendly staff too :)

Come here regularly with my best mate, I get a chicken wrap he goes Lamb. Honestly the best wrap I've ever had, made to order and cooked fresh. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Woddbridge. Top Kebaby, top service. Well played fellas, well played.

Great after a few beers! Chicken shish wrap is great, they cook it fresh in front of you so you can see what you're getting. The shop it's self is surprisingly clean and tidy for a kebab shop, got to be a good thing! Staff are friendly and it's pretty cheap!

This is our "go to" place for kebabs. The options are varied and always tasty. Nice people too. I recommend the mixed kebab at £8.50 - have a good appetite though because it's big!

I didn't have a very good experience here, the chips were nice but the rest wasn't great, the man was very moody and didn't speak much english ( what do i expect! ) also no offering of vinegar and salt ( the vinegar was watered down )

My husband really rates their burgers (I don't eat beef) I always have a special chicken kebab and they are lovely but I do miss the red cabbage! Love the garlic sauce! Recommended!

Me and my other half had a very nice meal there a few days ago. Everything was fresh and tasty. We also liked the service - very attentive, polite and smily, Will be comming back in the future.
