Called in here today and had two hot chocolates made with real chocolate and two mince pies There drink regular is tiny And you may as well of been drinking dishwater talk about skimp on the main ingredient (chocolate it's in the name ) The mince pies were over priced and stuck to the case on the bottom would have had a nicer taste experience buying the cheapest supermarket box of mince pies and saved myself a few quid and had a better taste experience So folks there you have it overpriced and poor ingredients served here tometoday

the only cafe I have ever been to that gives one small piece of bacon that covered 1 third of my toast, one slice of toast was then cut normally in half, the other slice was cut in triangles How can i possibly make a bacon sandwich like this ? and where is the bacon ? I then went into the store and spent a few hundred pounds I am not the fastest person as struggling to walk with cancer, THEY THEN SENT ME A 60 POUND PARKING FINE I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE

Very average coffee. The staff where nice enough, but it seems strange that a place will have "bean" in the title, yet use the cheapest, basic tasting coffee beans?

All I can say is wow! Food was out of this world and all staff friendly and helpful. Hubby and I spontaneously decided to stop for something to eat and even through they were very busy fitted us in and still the service was spot on. I am a fussy eater but nothing was to much trouble. Well done guys we will be back very soon!

We stayed at The Cliftonville to celebrate our 25th anniversary and from the moment we arrived the service was brilliant. The hotel is stunning as soon as you walk in. Our room like all the rooms had a sea view and the staff had even left a gift and message congratulating us. We ate in the restaurant that evening and again the service and food was 1st class. If you're ever in the area I'd highly recommend staying at The Cliftonville, you won't be disappointed

Visited on a cold day and the inside was very warm and welcoming. The coffee is excellent - a large mug of tasty coffee at a very reasonable price. Very busy but quick efficient service - shame the staff don’t smile otherwise a great place to visit. Food looked nice too!

Have popped in occasionally and had the most delicious pie and gravy. Was in the area Saturday and thought a lovely pie and gravy will go down a treat on such a cold day. Saturday luch time, no pies on the menu, just a very basic baguette, omlette, baked potato menu, really disappointed. Should have guessed, very sparse of dinners. Ordered the egg baguette, to be told a minute later 'we can't get hold of any eggs'. So all the omlettes were unavailable too. I've just been to a farmers market down the road that's full of eggs and pies! Cheese baguette ok, very cheap colesaw on side( sorry being really picky now). It has changed hands and don't believe the menu online, we won't be going back.

This is an excellent establishment. It’s very extensive, with numerous rooms, and plenty of room both outside and in. We had a really good sandwich lunch, very good value for money, and were served by efficient and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended.

We held my dad's life celebration at the Roman Camp this week following his funeral, and we couldn't fault it. The staff were amazing, so friendly and looking out for us. It was such a lovely ambience and the food was fantastic, which was so important to us as dad was such a foodie. We had the afternoon tea and added some bucks fizz on arrival. The food is all made on site and you could tell. Thank you so much for making a difficult day still a lovely one.
