What a fabulous experience I received by Jordan and Emma in The Swan in Horning - I am a celiac and often find it hard to find lunch as I’m unable to eat sandwiches etc - not only did they have really nice rolls gluten free but their fish fingers were made of Gluten free batter! Amazing it was such a heartwarming experience all round as they were so helpful and polite hosts - thanks so much both of you it finished off our little break on a high xx
The sausage rolls were so good, they tasted really nice and the staff warmed them up for us. The staff were all very friendly and we felt comfortable sitting in the cafe.
First visit and most definitely not the last. We both went for the burgers, which can be abit hit or miss in some places, but OMG easily the best ever!!! So tastey. The whole service was very friendly too. We had a dog with us and it was really dog friendly with free treats and water provided.

Apparently had to get used to " dealing with tourists again ". Went for a coffee as like to support local small businesses.
There was a lady hanging around the counter , she asked the male if he was ok and the tourist comment was his response , along with rolling eyes .
I asked for a coffee and a tea and was told he had no tea, no explanation or apology . I wasn't that bothered so just got the coffee but I thought the tourist comment was very patronising and I'm sure those tourists keep his business afloat for the year .
I would not go back .
Overcooked, rubbery, minimal beef burger. Service had been added to the bill without asking or even telling me, so I paid it without knowing or being given an opportunity to increase or decrease the amount.
Lovely warming bar and restaurant we popped in after a walk along the cliffs from Cromer. Stopped for a bit to eat. Great service, attentive, polite staff and tasty food.
We often eat here at the Limes and the food is always very good and the bar is clean & tidy. Service is quick and the staff very pleasant and a particular reference must be made to Carol who is a very pleasant and efficient server. She is always on the move looking to ensure all customers are well looked after. We visit many Spoons around the country and we would say that Carol is the best server we have encountered on our travels not only in Spoons but also in many other establishments.
Done such a fantastic job on revamping the garden centre and restaurant. Such a shame the food was terrible!
My wife had what was supposed to be Chicken schnitzel which was on the special board. The first one was so tough it was overcooked and couldn’t cut it. This was replaced with a second one and was told by the waitress they are all like that!
I had a cheese and onion omelet which had been burnt on one side and was presented inside out to hide the burnt base.
A lady who worked there named Heather, came and asked us if we enjoy our meal and thought we were joking when we said it was awful.
She apologised and asked us if we would like a piece of cake or a refill of our drinks which we declined.
Visiting North Norfolk in February means wrap up warm ... we were there for the Fri & Sat 14th 15th Feb and having visited The Red Lion previously chose to return on the Saturday.
We didn't book ... we should have ! Didn't expect it to be busy in the Winter months but all tables around the enticing open fire were taken !
The staff however were incredibly helpful and friendly and suggested if we had a drink in the "back room" they would come & get us when a table came free out the front.
True to their word 20 minutes later we had a lovely table at the front section of the pub, the drinks were great and we chose one of the "specials" which was steak pie and it was ... special !
Best way to describe it is Beef Wellington style pastry rammed with tender steak chunks on mashed potato with gravy & greens.
Absolutely amazing ... just what was needed on cold night !!!
Thanks to all at The Red Lion, have visited before and will certainly visit again ... next time we'll make sure we book !!!
Popped into this pub a couple of times, firstly for a great pint of cask ale and the second evening for a meal.
On both occasions the service was great and the food was very reasonably-priced and very tasty.
