It’s not the awful food that bothered me because you dont expect quality at a Wetherspoons. An open kitchen can be a blessing and a curse and in this case it was the latter. I’m sure the two “kitchen staff” members are lovely blokes but the fact that the entire dining room had to sit through their obnoxious and high volume discussions is what bothered me. There was a family to my right with two young children but this didn’t stop the kitchen’s loud discussions including language that may not exactly have been an exert from a Jim Davidson show but did include multiple colourful word choices. It’s a shame because we all expect the food to be a bit (to use the kitchens words) “S**t”, but we accept that for the price. But the lack of thought for diners who are just a stone throw away does (again in their words) “take the p**s” !

1 and the two female staff where rude, as we walked in they grunted to one another (teenagers) . We didn’t feel welcomed in the restaurant especially as it’s our local weatherspoons.😡

Popped in for a drink and ended up having lunch. Gourmet meat-free burger and Tikka curry were tasty. Friendly staff, upstairs a little more untidy than downstairs but all in all great value for money

Went to limes for for the beer festival 11/10/23, not one single ale ready to be served, called into the bell in Norwich 2 days ago and they were getting it all set up, as per usual the limes were way behind, this pub is slowly going downhill, think a far better idea is to give it a miss, and go elsewhere

Table service is utterly rubbish,stop leaving the food on the side for so long it gets stone cold. Last time we went I got the food myself because once again left for ages going cold. The manager needs to sort it out tell the staff to stop standing around chatting and serve the customers.

Visited the Limes for breakfast but sadly the quality of the food and being served on a cold plate for the second time in a month is going to be my last visit there. Bar staff when ordering the meal are very cheerful and friendly but the breakfast was poor . Small pieces of low quality bacon , half a small tomato and a small mushroom and a tasteless sausage. Bulked up by three hash browns and beans. The eggs were only warm against a cold plate, the toast was ok though.

Sat myself down at a small table that sat 2. 10 mins later some weird bloke just walked in and sat at the same table! There were loads of empty tables, so I asked if he could move and he said he was local and always sat there!!!! Then just stared at me. Mentioned it to the staff who used his first name, and seemed to think it was normal.

Typical Wetherspoon pub, good location in town centre. Called in on a Saturday afternoon and surprised that it wasn’t that busy. Nice relaxing atmosphere, food was well presented and good quality. Decent sized portions. Nice and clean, staff friendly and polite. Worth a visit if passing through.

We visited for a breakfast and both had the breakfast muffin. They took around 5 minutes to arrive. The chef obviously took pride in his work as everything was well cooked, tasty topped off with a lovely muffin…… also included a free drink for £1.99. This is a must visit pub

My wife and myself had lunch there yesterday Friday 11 November I had steak and kidney pudding mash and peas the mash was cold peas were cold pudding hot meat like gristle gravy was thick and congealed.My wife’s chicken melt was very dry and cold chips cold left very disappointed after advising staff just told sorry . Great Wetherspoons, very fast service, friendly attentive staff. Popped in on a Friday night for a quick meal and drink. Food was quickly served, one via bar ordering and the other via app. Second drink quickly arrived before we wandered around Fakenham.

The limes weatherspoons restaurant, was amazing quality, but slightly pricey. It has an amazing range of dishes to choose from, at breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The portion sizes are perfect and overall it was a good visit.

What more can you say except it's a Wetherspoons! Fred is the rather attractive Manager with a warm, friendly and professional personality. His personal attention made our first visit to this hostelry particularly enjoyable. No street parking but disabled access and loo. WiFi of course. Thursday night curry with three cups of coffee for under £7 each! British food and alcohol and proud of it!

Visited several Wetherspoons. For some reason, this place has the best food. I know the menu is the same wherever you go but the food is perfectly cooked and brought to table in a timely fashion.

Always some good beers here had both of the Christmas offers they had on tap very tasty. Food very good. Alas the vegan or/and vegetarian burger is always so dry like its very over cooked! Making it not pleasant to eat.

I think one of the best Wetherspoons I've been to. As a local, it's a reliable place and the food is always consistently good and good value. The staff are always friendly, helpful and responsive. Never a bad experience or a bad pint.

I'm a fan of wetherspoons beer and pricing. BUT you should have realised that on the night Fakenham switched on it's Christmas lights you would have more customers, need more beer and need more staff. The place was heaving on sat night at 5.30 pm. Only three hard working staff who looked tiered, fed up and embarrassed that of the vast range of beers on offer only two were available for sale. Service was really slow therefore, beer choice was poor. left feeling very dissatisfied. Really hope you can sort this for the future, locals told us it happens every year.

Called in yesterday for lunch before Thursford Show. Busy but got a table. Food came promptly. Both pleased if not wowed, but all hot & filling. Been before & food is good value.

The food was good and cheap, and the staff friendly and welcoming. The pub was busy, but the service quick. Particularly wonderful is the lack of televisions blaring out their rubbish, and no music distracting you from conversations with friends. Well done. you guys.

Really good quality British pub food at a very reasonable Wetherspoon price. We've been here twice with a young child for lunch. We've tried the steak, curry, fish & chips and son had the children's set menu of pizza with drink and fruit. Quality can't be faulted, as is the service. Even the dessert of warm chocolate cake with chocolate sauce and ice cream was above expectations.

Came tonight whilst in Fakenham on a family holiday. We came to The Limes for dinner tonight (Wednesday 30th), and was horrified by not only the rude service but also the clientele.

When in Fakenham we've popped into 'The Limes' for food and drink and have not so far any complaints. Friendly staff who are very efficient and willing to help good hot foot at a very competitive price and good table service. Yes, it can get very busy and we've found parking a little difficult but it's well worth the effort to secure an evening meal.

Ive ordered a few steaks from the spoons in lynn and they were great but the steaks from the limes are horrible, always come out well done no matter how you ask for them cooked (i ask for rare and my friend medium). My steak last night was stringy and gristly i couldnt eat it.

Once a week we pop into Weatherspoons for our lunch. Today when I asked for a gluten free menu I was told that I would have to down load their app. As I explained I don't have that facility the waitress came back with a massive book on all allergies and ingredients and told me to look for something I could eat. She was very helpful but it would have taken hours to find something I could eat. When we found a meal it was quick and tasty but their lack of choice for special diets are the worst in town .

When dog walking around the Fakenham area it is nice to sit quietly with your best friend, it as been part of our routine to stop off for a coffee, cheeky g&t; and a bite to eat. Well today after settling in the smoking area outside with a coffee and deciding if to eat we were told that no dogs are allowed anywhere on the premises, this is news to us. We were the only people in the area and the dogs under the table quietly watching the world go by and enjoying a coffee in the sunshine (I have a lung problem so need stops} when a member of staff came out and asked us to leave, no explanation as to why, no signs. dogs could not be seen and nobody else out there! Well just to let you doggy people know that this is the only place NOT DOG FRIENDLY in Fakenham, so as locals we will not be using them again, there loss not ours, it WAS the grandchildren's favourite place to eat when we took then out, NOT anymore so that is table for 9 no longer needed. Why have they not got visible signs as you step off of the pavement to tell you? I found it unessecary and embarrassing and my dogs (all trained and very well behaved) and I were asked to leave. SIGNAGE PLEASE easy enough to to get. Not a welcoming place anymore do not recommend it to anybody who loves dogs. Food is cooking by pictures and there is often a long wait. Back to Sruptious, The Crown, Q'S, the Bistro, Wisteria, Worked just to name a few.

I took my two children here for a lunch and it was great value for money. The food is lovely and you get generous portions. The chips tasted lovely and then it was pointed out they tasted like onion rings so they were either cooked in a special seasoning or they were cooked just after or along with onion rings. I didn’t mind but if you have an issue with onions you may want to avoid fries or check first.

On a Friday me and the partner was hungry and fancied something fast and easy so we went out for a late lunch and after we had a bad experience at another place we said we will go to spoons, today we had the lamb shanks and they was lovely amazing, the meat fell of the bone and normally I have to ask for extra gravy I didn’t today.

We stay each year at fakenham Racecourse and enjoy coming for breakfast and occasional evening light bite. Always quick service and food has been good for the price- can’t complain. Venue is bright and feels modern. It’s way better than any weatherspoons near us at home!

This would not be our first choice of restaurant, however, we wanted to eat, and nowhere else appealed. We were interested to note the wide age range of the other clients, from young adults, to families to pensioners, which shows they are doing something right. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was fine.

The Limes is a very attractive venue, very nicely decorated. We popped in at 8.30am for coffee, then walked around the town for an hour before returning for breakfast at 10am. Our coffee cups we're still on the table as we'd left them, as was the plate and cup on the next table from the same time. I ordered a vegan breakfast and was served a gluten free breakfast. The waitress argued that was what I'd ordered. I told her I wouldn't order that as I don't eat eggs and bacon. She became impatient and ordered the vegan. The breakfast was cooked ok.the place was clean apart from the tables not being cleared. There are only 2 parking spaces but a large pay and display car park at the rear.

I went to spoons this evening with my girlfriend and during our dinner a wasp kept pestering us. Adam came over and kindly flicked the wasp with his bare hands away from our table. my girlfriend has a serious allergy to wasps therefore we were so grateful! he deserves a pay rise, he also mastered service with a smile :)

We called here at lunch time. I had the Mediterranean lasagne. This is a favourite of mine which I’ve had in several Wetherspoons. My husband had a chicken burger which he said was very nice and it came with chips which were very fluffy. The food was hot and nicely presented. From where we sat we could see food being prepared in a very clean looking kitchen. In fact the entire pub was exceptionally clean and staff were prompt and attentive.

If you like a good steak, perfectly cooked then go to the Limes. A friend and I had a great 10 oz sirloin steak each with all the trimmings and a bottle of Shiraz. The goal cost was just £18.99 - you can pay more than that for just the wine at some places. I know some people knock Weatherspoons but you cannot beat The Limes for good food and value

I visited this Whetherspoon pub around 7.30 in the evening. It was quite full. People appeared to be enjoying themselves. I waited at the bar to be served at least 10 mins. I got no smile or greeting. Beer was cold. I took it and sat down at an uncleared table. A lot of tables had plates of food and half drunk drink on them. My table was cleared but not wiped. I saw other patrons sit at dirty tables. My lasagne came quite quickly. It was plopped down in front of me. It came with a side salad. It was nice but i felt unsettled. I ate and left. The Limes offers bottomless tea and coffee. Food and drink very reasonable shame about the service

I and my daughter has eaten at Limes twice. They offer good meal deals. We enjoyed their spicy meat pizza. If you are looking for a place where they serve affordable pub food in Fakenham, I can recommend Limes/Weatherspoon.

I was a late convert to Spoons -- this place is a gem.

Just visited this place with 9 friends and family and two pointer dogs... Probably £50 trade.

Went in for breakfast and what a big break it was 2eggs 2bacon 2 sasages hash browns beans toast black pudding stuffed was done to perfection and free coffee after first one

Decided on the off chance and visited with daughter and her husband. Used the app again and the drinks and food arrived reasonably promptly. I tried the Avocado with pulled chicken and bacon salad. The dressing made this very tasty and very satisfying, a large burger and chicken and sticky pork combo made up the meals and all were tasty. Clean plates all round. All three meals plus drinks for £20 can't really complain at that. Sat outdoors, very pleasant.

Had a great meal today, gammon and chips with mushroom, tomato, peas and 2 fried eggs, included in the price was a free drink so also had a glass of wine.

Recently visited before going to the cinema. The queue for the bar was massive with one person serving so downloaded the weather spoons app. The steak night was on I ordered a medium rare and what came was well done. But I was hungry and in a hurry. No staff were around to complain so just ate what I could and left. Very different to other spoons I'm hoping this was just a one off

Been quite a few times. Today went with two friends and as it's Fish Friday I went for the cod and chips. The fish was lovely and so amazingly were the chips. I find chips can be very lack lustre but these tasted like proper chips.

We visited on a Tuesday night and had a very good value steak and wine meal. The pub was busy most tables were occupied but the service at the bar was quick and friendly the food arrived very quickly all in all an excellent experience.
