Done such a fantastic job on revamping the garden centre and restaurant. Such a shame the food was terrible! My wife had what was supposed to be Chicken schnitzel which was on the special board. The first one was so tough it was overcooked and couldn’t cut it. This was replaced with a second one and was told by the waitress they are all like that! I had a cheese and onion omelet which had been burnt on one side and was presented inside out to hide the burnt base. A lady who worked there named Heather, came and asked us if we enjoy our meal and thought we were joking when we said it was awful. She apologised and asked us if we would like a piece of cake or a refill of our drinks which we declined.

Visited today-first time since extension .Very good quality seating, spacious and well set out-even a dog friendly section!Probably because its new service was slow and cooked breakfast was not very hot-waited for drinks to arrive but didn’t come until meal.Hopefully just teething troubles and look forward to next visit.

This little gem of a cafe inside the garden centre came by recommendation. We were looking for somewhere to have a late breakfast and were so lucky to land here. Ladies were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. 2 of us had cooked breakfast. 1 had poached egg on toast, 1 had scrambled. 2 pots of tea and water brought to table as well. Garden Centre nothing special but cafe marvellous.

Super friendly staff. Delicious food and lots to see. Great place to take my dad with mobility issues. Would recommend the cream tea. Large and delicious fruit scones with jam and cream. Lovely big cups of tea. My dad and husband opted for the specials. Generous portions and all reasonably priced. Would definitely return.

This is a really nice restaurant/cafe with a nice choice of food. The salad is always nice and fresh. The cakes look yummy, albeit I haven’t tried any of them as yet as I usually have a jacket potato or panini and don’t have room for anything sweet. The majority of the staff are really nice and friendly, just one of them could cheer up a bit.

Lovely cosy pub. Very dog-friendly. Food is standard pub fare, reasonably priced. Very nice wood-burning stove kept us warm over lunch.

Not a lot of choice, too fancy food not cooked brilliantly, over priced. The pub needs to serve more traditional pub fare. Service not great, we were forgotten about on numerous occasions during our sitting.

We've been coming to the Wiveton Bell for a number of years. We hadn't been since it's new ownership. We had a big family meal, and it was pretty shoddy. The food was outrageously priced for what it was. My wife had what was essentially quarter of braised cabbage on some beetroot. We paid £19 for it. The macaroni cheese for one of the children was undercooked stodge with no cheese in it. Cod for the fish and chips wasn't fresh, the potatoes served as part of the main meals tasted as if they'd been sat under heat lights for hours. In fact nothing tasted fresh. The food took 70 minutes to arrive. Despite their being very few people in the restaurant. It used to be such a lovely place to eat, but we won't be returning after this afternoon.

Went in low season (January) 2025, with my husband, living in Norwich. Not especially busy but at low season the staffing levels are lower. But this did not detract from the dining experience. The staff who were working were fantastic. Karol greeted us in and took us to our table giving us a few minutes to decide what we wanted. On a cold Sunday afternoon the decision was easy, and we both had a roast sirloin of beef. The service was fast and our Sunday lunch with all the trimmings was delicious, although (and I am being really picky because the meal was very good), I wish I had been given more carrots. Finished off with a small Bakewell sponge pudding with custard. Our thanks to Jordan, Tracey and Karol for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back, you have an amazing pub/restaurant.
