Delicious coffee, beautiful location, quirky decor and helpful staff. Oh and reasonable prices too. What more could anyone ask?

We popped in as a group of four for a coffee, the place looked quite inviting. The barista however, was not very welcoming and in fact was borderline rude. The clincher was the coffee, which was just awful. No one finished their coffee, I had a cappuccino. It was the worst I have ever tasted, very bitter. We will not be returning.

Couldn't believe 2 negative reviews I've just read! The owner Will, on our visit this week was lovely, he's not forward in discussion but once you speak he's friendly and informative. He's a member of the life boat in the area and often gets called out... To business, the cafe is opposite the quay, and from the outside does not look inviting but the doors are not left open due to flies, tho the doors are electric and open frequently, it's not like your chain store cafe, it's rustic But the coffee is fabulous. And reasonably priced.. We first visited last year, and no doubt will visit again in August...

Lovely little coffee shop. Great service and friendly staff. Nice to find a place focused on good quality rather than making lots of money.

We only had coffee on our two visits and we found this place friendly and welcoming. The espresso coffee was good and prices as normal. There are a couple of tables outside.

If you want to visit somewhere that reflects it's place, come to Wills of Wells. The view across the Harbour is outstanding. Chat to people who live, work, visit and care for Wells and it's natural enviroment. Take in the interesting objects around you. You'll find out a lot about the sea, ships, fishing and coffee. Dogs welcome. This is not a city chain store coffee drive-in. Slow ye down.

AWFUL COLD COFFEE SERVED & ANGRY CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OWNER. (visit date approximately recorded) 1. Went to sit down & got barked at by the owner that I couldn’t sit there as he was saving the seat for “people that I know”. 2. When I suggested there was no reserved sign, he shouted at me & proceeded to tell the poor other customer in the shop how awful I was. 3. I asked to speak to the owner. He stated he was the owner. 4. Coffee is nothing to shout about either - served lukewarm & with the after taste of a scaly kettle. 5. Looked at previous reviews, thought this may be a one off, but saddened to read it isn’t. The owner should seek help in controlling his anger issues with other reviews mentioning an angry owner & even an employer. A gentle trip advice to the owner: Step back & contemplate whether a customer facing job is really for you. After speaking about my experience to other retail/hospitality in the area, it is clear the above is known about & is detriment to a bigger family business as per your website. I hope you seek the help you need.

Not as good as they think they are - still cold and I’m not only talking about the temperature. I’ve been to every coffee establishment in wells and won’t be coming back to this one!

Called in here today and had two hot chocolates made with real chocolate and two mince pies There drink regular is tiny And you may as well of been drinking dishwater talk about skimp on the main ingredient (chocolate it's in the name ) The mince pies were over priced and stuck to the case on the bottom would have had a nicer taste experience buying the cheapest supermarket box of mince pies and saved myself a few quid and had a better taste experience So folks there you have it overpriced and poor ingredients served here tometoday

Wow what a find. the best place to eat for miles around if you have dogs with you as it is very dog friendly. We went for Sunday lunch and sat out on the covered terrace next to the lovely garden. There was a choice of 4 roast meats and a vegetarian option. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The cost was also very reasonable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere.

Great staff, amazing views, nice range of beers. They continue to do a great job on the pier, we are so lucky to have it. It's a treasure that has been beautifully maintained.

Have popped in occasionally and had the most delicious pie and gravy. Was in the area Saturday and thought a lovely pie and gravy will go down a treat on such a cold day. Saturday luch time, no pies on the menu, just a very basic baguette, omlette, baked potato menu, really disappointed. Should have guessed, very sparse of dinners. Ordered the egg baguette, to be told a minute later 'we can't get hold of any eggs'. So all the omlettes were unavailable too. I've just been to a farmers market down the road that's full of eggs and pies! Cheese baguette ok, very cheap colesaw on side( sorry being really picky now). It has changed hands and don't believe the menu online, we won't be going back.
