The best restaurants in Dacorum East of England

The food and refreshments are fresh and delicious. The atmosphere and staff are very friendly and welcoming - Krishna herself was extremely wonderful and considerate - as she brought out a special surprise treat to celebrate my upcoming birthday! Definitely a place to revisit regularly.

We have been ordering from best kebab for a while now, i am not a great fan of kebabs but oh my how fresh and beautiful there food is my husband always has a plain fenner burger, they will probably know who we are as he orders so often haha, the staff are all ao lovely and polite, amd even when buay happy to take our card payment over the phone, i have a lamb mixed shish kebab and have tried every kebab shop in Hemel and you just can not beat this place, after our food last night i think they deserve the best review

Great welcome with a lovely Sunday carvery with as much as you wanted. All staff very helpful and a good pint of Guinness. Excellent value for money. Thanks.

We paid what we thought was a £200 deposit for the small private dining area for 10 people. Having spent nearly £1000 for 3 hrs we thought we would get the deposit refunded but were told that was a room hiring fee. I strongly suggest that if you are looking for a private room that you try different restaurants. We are regular customers at both Berko and Harpenden but neither us or our guests will be returning. Very poor business managment.

Tuesday evening visit so hard to judge atmosphere. The staff are excellent - attentive without being pushy. The menu was varied and the small plates option a nice touch. Food delivered hot and nicely presented. Price-wise not bad for a country pub - especially given the costs of stuff at the moment. Would visit again and recommend.

Lovely coffee shop (+farm shop and Gin place) just beside the Tring reservoirs. Order, then food and drinks delivered to you. Decent range of snacks plus a lunch menu (not tried). Lovely views over countryside

Great local stunning food and beer

I’ve been here a couple times for breakfast and it’s always delightful. The coffee is fantastic and so is the food. Would highly recommend:)

Just had fish and chips not happy food was dripping in oil with loads of oil at the bottom of the box and chips not cooked long enough put straight in the bin will not order from you again as this is only the second time ordering and both times not impressed
