I visited here 2 years ago and was so satisfied and came here today again. I still love it.

Great meaty tasty burgers lovely bun fresh relish lovely salad what will could you ask very very impressed bought dinner for five of us it was a little it Was hot and arrived on time.

Usually great food and service however they have had connection issues which show when you order online, they immediately take payment and then dont accept the order leaving you without the money or food.

Order took an hour and a half. Turned up cold. We rang three times to talk to someone about the status of the order and no one could tell us the detail of our order or where it was. Or if it had even been cooked.

We live 5 mins away, placed ann order for delivery and waited an hour before getting a call that there was a road closure in bovingdon (no where near us) so they can’t deliver. Really disappointed, surely they could have told us earlier? To top it off the guy was really rude to me down the phone when I said surely they could have told us earlier, as I’d it was my fault. Won’t be ordering there again.

Ordered food for delivery. Burger box driver delivery was fine but the food was atrocious. Brown, wilted and soggy lettuce. Paid extra for grilled chicken and 1/4 of it was hard and inedible. Food came early but was not at all hot, just barely warm. Onion rings were stale. Chips were the only thing with decent flavour but were cold. Extremely disappointed. Update: since yesterday my brother has been throwing up since 1am after eating nothing different other than burger box.

Really really top notch burgers and service. I'm not sure where they get their buns but they're almost as fresh as they come from a bakery. Theyre not squashed either. Price was excellent for the quality. Ordered twice to my hotel and both times correct and really quick. Wish I lived here to enjoy them more.

From the outside and looking at the menu this place looks like it’s going to be a winner, it’s so very far from that. Probably the most tasteless, mediocre overpriced burger and fries I’ve had in my entire life.

Food tastes amazing as always but the last 2 occassions the portion sizes have been drastically reduced. I brought the goujon box and To me, its almost not worth the price now as you only get a quarter of the fries you used to get. I even called the store to make sure it was a one off but was told that portion sizes had not changed. Again, the food is amazing just let down by the size of the meal now.

The worst food I've ever tasted, the burgers were still ink inside, the chips were like rubber. Would of rather ate a sandwhich.. can definitely say I will not be ordering from there again...

The most awesome chicken and halloumi salad I have ever tasted! I couldn't believe that a bowl of salad could taste so good, brilliant! We had the grilled chicken, and was worried that it might be a bit dry but it was so juicy and tasteful that this will have to become a regular for us! 5 stars well deserved!

This place is honestly amazing! The best burger spot in Hemel Hempstead or even Hertfordshire I'd say. Their customer service is on point and their burgers are so nice and tasty. I highly recommend anyone who would like to try good quality burgers to hit them up and give it a go. They also do other types of food. Food was ready on time and was cooked the way I wanted. Will be coming back for sure.

Everything about this place is top notch. Both the service and the food. We were treated nicely every time and the staff were really accomodating. The goujon box and hot dogs are my favourite along with their amazing coleslaw. Everything is packed with flavour and the portion sizes are huge that there was enough food for left overs. Always look forward to having it again.

AVOID LIKE COVID! Food arrived stone cold. The chips were soggy and the milkshake had melted. Called Burger Box straight away. The man on the phone didn’t appear to be bothered in the slightest when I tried to complain. He was laughing and said he would write my name down “somewhere” and give me a discount next time I ordered - really?! I was not offered a replacement meal, nor a refund. Their customer service is diabolical. Both members of staff I spoke to were rude and arrogant. One of them said he would “sort me out” and asked for my address!! I asked if he was threatening me to which he replied “I’ll sort you out….with a discount”. It felt as though he was trying to threaten me!! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

I have order food through UberEats app, several time was late and cold, also restaurant did not pick up the phone when I was calling about my order. This is not a first time, usually I am not writing negative opinions after one bad experience. But this restaurant has go over my limits. I am wondering only if any the owners is checking reviews. They need some improvement, I won't order again.

I ordered a simple meal of four goujons and chips. It arrived when said, but that’s where the good bit ends. On opening the carton it came it was cold. Got straight on the phone and another was sent within the hour for free, that was also cold. We have had meals from here before that we’re not that hot but gave them another chance on this occasion. But never again. 🙁🙁

Tried to make an order over the phone tonight on a Tuesday, the communication was terrible they couldn't understand a thing of what was being said, tried to order 2 chicken wraps with bbq and mayo sauce and 1 more chicken wrap with just mayo and lettuce, they charged us for 4 wraps even tho we only ordered 3, we also got a gorgonzilla burger witch had no blue cheese nk onions no mayo sauce witch is all the the description... I had to repeat the order 3 or 4 times to try and make sure they had the order correct then I had to repeat my card details 2 times witch they said it didnt go through and then the card machine was broken so had to go down to the shop and pay in cash only to find out out they took the card payments when they told us it didnt go through.. so if we didnt actually notice we would of paid almost £90 for a meal that should of only cost £27 only for everything's to be wrong and stone cold it was barley warm.. this place has gone so down hill since it first opened just glad we got the refund of the card payments we were told didnt get accepted. Wont use again

I’ve never had an issue with the burger box before, I have only ordered from the Hemel one a couple of times as I used to live in amersham so I ordered from the Chesham one (never once had an issue with them) I am quite disappointed to be writing this review and not be giving 5 stars as I love the burger box, I think it’s delicious food for a decent price and it always arrives on time and hot. I ordered from here last night and specified on the phone I would like no cheese as I’m lactose intolerant, that I’d like the fillet mayo wrap meal with chips and a Diet Coke. The food arrived before it was scheduled to, and the driver was friendly, however the wrap had cheese in it and sweet chilli sauce & Mayo. I never asked for sweet chilli sauce and it kind of ruined the wrap for me as it was overpowering and I only wanted Mayo. Also I received a rio can instead of a Diet Coke…. Luckily enough I’m not allergic to cheese 😅 The box even said no cheese!!! Not to mention the gentleman on the phone was barely listening to me and seemed distracted by whatever was going on in the shop… food was good but not what I asked for.

Their wrap is bland which was very disappointing but friends that ordered the chicken burger were happy. The fries are delicious. I'm told their hamburger is great so I will try this on my next visit and update my review. I like that you can see the food being cooked and prepared. What i would say is that operation comes across as disorganised given the amount of workers within a small space.

Ordered food at 6.30 on just eat was told it would be delivered at 8.05, hour and a half no problem its a Saturday night. Called at 8.15 and was told the driver would be leaving in 15 minutes, annoyed but whats 15-20 minutes since we've waited and hour and a half. After my call within 10 minutes of my call burger box logged the food order as complete and delivered. At 9pm I called and the driver resturant said the driver has gone and there's nothing they can do. After waiting for nearly 3 hours the food finally arrived. The driver knew he messed up as he left the food on the door step, and NOT knock on the door, luckily we had a ring door bell, and yes the food was ice cold

Ordered at 18:22, said it would be delivered at 20:15. Although it was going to be a while till we got our food we decided to just wait. Got to 20:15 and food wasn't delivered. When we asked for an update they said it would arrive at 20:40. Still no food by 21:00 so called them. We were told they were busy (it was a Saturday night so fair enough) but there's no excuse to make your customers wait that long. They told us they were leaving at 21:05 (3 minutes away from our house) and still no food at 21:20. Finally at 21:25 the food came. I have to say the restaurant redeemed themselves as the food was very nice. However still not impressed with the wait.

Food tastes good , but delivered stone cold. Monday at 4.30pm, wouldn't expect that, maybe a friday or saturday. Won't be using again .

Absolute shambles. Delivery took over 1hr 40 mins. At least explain to customers that is how longnit will take.

Save your money don't bother. Very very average burgers... The philli cheese steak was supposed to have 'lashings of cream cheese' but had the slightest swipe (you'd find more butter on your toast!) Was supposed to have 'double helping of shaved rib eye steak'- found 3 thin little squares. Ordered the nachos for £5... Received a very sad looking box of crisps with a dollop of salsa on one corner and some cold cheese in the other. Save your money and get the £2 nachos from subway- they'll at least melt the cheese for you!

Awful service, it took 2 hours for 2 cheeseburgers and a portion of fries. Yes it's a Friday night, which is why we called to cancel as the order was saying an hour and half but they assured us it would be sooner and was leaving the restaurant in half an hour at 7pm. We ordered at 6pm and it arrived stone cold at 8pm. It made one person in the household sick over night. I wouldn't ever order from them again it's disgusting.

My partner placed an order through Just Eat at around 18:30, and was given a delivery time of 20:30, which I thought was an extremely long time for a burger and chips, but my partner was hungry and wanted the food. 20:30 came and went, and at 20:45 my partner called them, only to be told that the food would only be delivered around 21:30, which was simply unacceptable as we’d be in bed already, so he cancelled the order. He’s now still hungry and out of pocket for the £14.50 he paid Just Eat. Shocking that a takeaway place cannot fulfil its obligations; suffice to say he’ll never be ordering from this place again. Appalling.

The foods not bad, assuming they get the order right. It's been 3 times in a row where they have incorrectly made what was on the order. Order a double up wrap, we got a burger, ordered no onions or chilli sauce on the loaded fries and it only came with ketchup and cheese, took a wrong item back, made a new one by which time my food was cold and my partner's was hot. The food quality doesn't outweigh the lack of efficiency or accuracy in this instance. When you're spending around £25 for two meals then you'd expect it to at least be what you ordered.

STOP, Read and Order. Let me start by saying its the best burger joint in Hemel. I ordered the high tower and my wife had the Cheese burger. We also ordered the texas hot dog just because you know a little extra 🤪. I loved everything about the food and I am picky as hell. Burger was gourmet, fries were delicious and fresh, and the dog 🤯mind blown. Don't read anymore reviews go and try the food you won't regret it. The cherry on the top Is the guys in the shops are absolute Gems, so friendly and kind. I made a very late order and they kindly accommodated me. Just love it. Well done guys

We stopped here on our way home from the cottage, I was starving and literally did a u-turn to get some food for the 4-hour drive home. And WOW, what an amazing surprise. Hands-down the best burger and fries I've had forever!!! It made the trip home a great experience and I will definitely make an effort to go here again if we are ever back in the area. I highly recommend you give the feta and bacon burger a try!

Hands down best place to get food in hemel. The burgers are great cook to perfection! The hot dogs are also yummy. Great customer service & all staffs are very friendly as well as welcoming. Its definitely worth going to if you live in the area or near hemel. The prices are very reasonable and most importantly it taste 😋.

Quite regularly order from this place for delivery now. They always get the order right, great food, delicious and at a reasonable price. I'm quite a fussy eater so have made some special requests for changes to the food and they always accomodate without any fuss. Brilliant experience, delicious & affordable food :)

I ordered the Goujon Box and shared a high tower burger with my sister along with the Texan hot dog meal and a pina colada. It was very tasty, 10/10. The fries were crispy and soft and the burger was juicy and full of flavour. Also, the man who delivered my food turned up in a white Audi, I was too shy to speak to him properly but he had a beard and was quite tall, he was soooo delicious please ask him if he can reply to this and I’ll message him my number 😛🥰

Ordered our usual burger, fries and drink meal deal but decided to add onion rings and halloumi to order as extras. When order arrived (cold sadly) the fries had been swapped for onions rings ?! Unclear on website and explained to the guy and he became very hostile on the phone and said it was our fault end of. Which is a shame as now we wont be ordering from them again. Poor customer service.....

The restaurant is designed for delivery or collection rather than eat in, however there is one table, and a window facing counter; 10 seats in total. It's not somewhere you'd go for a comfortable lounging meal. The food was prepared fresh whilst I waited by friendly staff. Initially I was dubious about the price, but that all changed when I tasted the food. Really excellent. The skin on fries were delicious and a generous portion. My burger was juicy and a quality meat. Easily superior to McDs, comparable to 5Guys or GBK. This is a great addition to the town. I'd certainly recommend you try this place at least once.
