Our experience today at the Kings Langley branch had a lovely ambience; it was a nice meal out before Christmas. Although it was quite busy when we came, Millie was still extremely attentive with us, polite and patient. She made the experience dining here tonight a lot more worth it :) we will definitely be returning!

We were greeted at the entrance and my wife's hair was complemented by the young lady that took us to our table. Our waitress Sally was the best we have ever had in a restaurant, very pleasant and chatty throughout but without being intrusive. Food was lovely along with our cocktails, Sally also surprised me with a desert with Happy Birthday written across the plate. Really went out of her way to make the evening memorable, highly recommend.

One of the best experiences especially visiting from California. MUST GO for dinner, drinks, ambiance, honestly all of it. We especially appreciate exceptional service from Chloe, Gemma, and Bella!

We had great front of house seat us and a lovely waitress sally who's attended every need for me and my partner on our anniversary even surprised us with a cake with anniversary on it which made our night (We paid for the cake) but sally asked the chef for a more anniversary surprise to it

We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this evening and the food and service were outstanding . My fillet mignon was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you to Gemma for being an excellent server and thanks to the chefs for the excellent food.

A very big thank you to all your lovely staff for a wonderful evening on Friday. We had booked M & C for our Christmas meal and there were 30 of us from work. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great,. I have had lots of lovely feedback from everyone. A very special thank you goes to Jordan our waitress, she really was incredible! We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Small portions, average quality.

Unfortunately, we came during the festive period when there were a lot of Christmas parties taking place and large parties of people so we did have to wait about 1.5 hours for our food to eventually come out, so be prepared if you do visit during this time. Our server, I believe her name is Sally, was absolutely amazing and continuously checked in on us and apologised for the delays. She was gracious and really did all she could, not only with us but all other customers. She was constantly on the go and always had a smile on her face. She definitely made the wait bearable. The food was pretty good, I would have liked it a bit hotter but the portions were great. I would recommend to others, but perhaps not for this time of the year.

I have been to this miller & carter a few times now. The last 2 times service has been really slow. The waitresses themselves are lovely, but the service, for a miller & carter restaurant, is expect better, especially because of what your paying. There was a wait for drinks after we’d sat down. We quickly realised the table hadn’t been cleaned as you’ll see by attached pictures, there was only 2 of us and we sat at the first 2 seats of the table, the side towards the wall was dusty. The candle wasn’t lit, a bit of a pointless feature. The floor was messy with food and tissue over the carpet. Food was quite a while to come out. Food tasted lovely. The table wasn’t cleaned after our main meal, there were some peas left on the table, which wasn’t offered to be wiped by the waitress. I ordered a crème brûlée for me & my mum, hers was fine, mine had mould raspberry on it which I placed on the side of the plate next to my pudding, I told the waitress and she scooped them up with her fingers from next to my pudding on the plate and said she’d show the chef….. I was shocked but I really wanted my crème brûlée… I’d asked how often the tables were cleaned and the waitress replied “everyday”…. They clearly hadn’t been cleaned before we sat down. Either it’s bad management here or the staff are lazy…. Which is a shame as they seem lively when serving…. One waitress looked a bit annoyed (that wasn’t serving us) she was on her phone a lot walking around. Not great for paying in excess of £100 for a meal!! Not the service or ambience I’d expect!!

The restaurant did call up and tell me that it was going to be late but it wasn’t due to them. It was due to the driver not turning up and therefore the food had been waiting cold for at least 25 minutes.

Where to start….. they were clearly very busy which is positive but sadly unable to provide an acceptable level of service. We were there 1 hour and 25 minutes before our lettuce wedge arrived which is after all just a lettuce wedge! The steaks, when they arrived, were over cooked which was really disappointing for a steak restaurant. We ended up skipping dessert as we had lost the will by the time the mains were finished. The only positive was our server who was really apologetic. Would not recommend unless you are prepared to wait a good while for a relatively pricey but ultimately pretty average dinner.

Lovely steak we Shared one of the sharing boards with the mixed steak all Cooked To perfection, onion loaf is delicious. For starters I ordered the sticky chicken bites I was very disappointed with them As it was chicken thigh meat I wouldn’t expect this in here so I couldn’t eat them but that’s just me. Our waitress was very good and helpful

Not often you can say this, but this restaurant has it all. I have never had any fault with anything here. It's that good I sometimes visit twice a week. Yes I do love food. But with the fixed lunch being such good value and tasty it's rude not too.

The steak is always excellent, but for some reason, the accompanying fries/chips are always underwhelming (luke warm or reheated?). Desserts aren't great and taste rather synthetic. I would definitely recommend going for steaks. Staff are fantastic and there is plenty of space to dine in comfort.

The service from Tina was excellent. We had the Sunday roast sharer, it was so good. Great deal, worth the money. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and that camembert mash...omg🤤🤤🤤

Never been to Miller and Carter before so didn’t know what to expect. It did not disappoint! We were looked after by Sarah, one of the staff who blew us away with her amazing service. She was friendly and knowledgeable and ensured that nothing was too much trouble. It was busy but it was so organised. Please thank Sarah for her service as she was such a breathe of fresh air and so attentive. The food was amazing and I honestly could not find any fault. We will definitely come back again!

Food was delicious, service amazing! We were seated and served quickly. The restaurant was very clean and not too noisy. Our waitress, Tina, was very helpful, offering recommendations and answering our ingredients questions. Our food arrived promptly and was fantastic. All in all a great 'date night', thank you to Tina who was cheerful, welcoming and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.

We arrived today (21-10-24) and as you can imagine it was very quiet, only a small family inside when we arrived. We was seated all in good time and all was going well. Orders were taken and starters arrived. That's when it all went downhill.... From finishing our starter to actually receiving our main meal, was a good 30mins plus. By then there was now 12 people eating in the restaurant including us, yet after eating we sat there, and sat there, and sat there waiting. I got up to look around the restaurant and there was nobody to be seen, nobody behind the bar, nobody in the kitchen, no waiting staff anywhere. After more waiting we decided to forget the desert, sod this! My partner left and got in the car, while I waited for staff the take my payment. When staff finally arrived, I asked for the bill. 2 mins later the waitress came out with a "Happy Birthday" plate with a slice of cake, saying "Your partner told me it was your birthday today" I politely refused the desert and was told I could take it with me, but by then we'd both had enough and just wanted to leave I'm far from being a snob, but when I goto a Miller and Carter I expect a better standard of service, especially when it's dead inside, and when you'd receive better service in a Harvester, and even a McDonald's Sadly today, King's Langley, you've really let the Miller and Carter brands standards down.

Bar staff were very friendly and waiting staff (Clare?) provided fantastic service. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. She was also very funny and made our meal v special. The food was also top notch! Well done all, keep up the great work!

This is my second time visiting and has now become a firm favourite restaurant for me. Javier’s level of service is impeccable and has made me feel so welcome on both occasions. My waitress Christina could not of done anything more for us! The food was by far some of the best food I have eaten. See you again soon.
