Food was fab, exactly what you'd expect from an M&C. Service was amazing, Sally's an absolute gem and accommodated us brilliantly the entire night. All round great

We arrived today (21-10-24) and as you can imagine it was very quiet, only a small family inside when we arrived. We was seated all in good time and all was going well. Orders were taken and starters arrived. That's when it all went downhill.... From finishing our starter to actually receiving our main meal, was a good 30mins plus. By then there was now 12 people eating in the restaurant including us, yet after eating we sat there, and sat there, and sat there waiting. I got up to look around the restaurant and there was nobody to be seen, nobody behind the bar, nobody in the kitchen, no waiting staff anywhere. After more waiting we decided to forget the desert, sod this! My partner left and got in the car, while I waited for staff the take my payment. When staff finally arrived, I asked for the bill. 2 mins later the waitress came out with a "Happy Birthday" plate with a slice of cake, saying "Your partner told me it was your birthday today" I politely refused the desert and was told I could take it with me, but by then we'd both had enough and just wanted to leave I'm far from being a snob, but when I goto a Miller and Carter I expect a better standard of service, especially when it's dead inside, and when you'd receive better service in a Harvester, and even a McDonald's Sadly today, King's Langley, you've really let the Miller and Carter brands standards down.

Bar staff were very friendly and waiting staff (Clare?) provided fantastic service. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. She was also very funny and made our meal v special. The food was also top notch! Well done all, keep up the great work!

This is my second time visiting and has now become a firm favourite restaurant for me. Javier’s level of service is impeccable and has made me feel so welcome on both occasions. My waitress Christina could not of done anything more for us! The food was by far some of the best food I have eaten. See you again soon.

Went in for a collection, the waitress with the blonde curly hair was really rude to her colleague and unhelpful. Gent that served me was really smiley and accommodating.

Christina was an amazing host for our table. The whole experience of Miller and Carter was enhanced by Christina’s professionalism and attention to detail made our whole evening. Christina is clearly enjoying job it it rubs off on the experience of the diner. Fantastic. I can not rate the service highly enough. Thank you. We will be coming again.

The main meal was awful, the fish was left under lights for 35 minutes I could see it from where I was sat, when the meal came it was so dry, the chips were over cooked un eatable, The only good thing was the pork large chop I had, that was lovely, the sauce was horrible, the Broccoli was cold, We thought it was nice to have such a nice looking place to eat on the door step, but no we will eat else where fir out remaining 2 nights,

The food was just delightful. The service was some of the best I have ever received. It was my sons first visit and first attempt at steak and he was converted.

The steak is always excellent, but for some reason, the accompanying fries/chips are always underwhelming (luke warm or reheated?). Desserts aren't great and taste rather synthetic. I would definitely recommend going for steaks. Staff are fantastic and there is plenty of space to dine in comfort.

Today we came for a lovely dinner at miller and carter, and had a delightful waitress called Sally, she was kind and understanding to the fussy eaters on our table as well and being calm and approachable waitress. We had lovely food which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The chefs were amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you Sally.

The food is ok but the service is shocking - our server ‘Mel’ actually casually leaned & kneeled on the banquet seating at our table every time she was at our table & to take our order, this did not come across as friendly in-fact it felt very hostile / dominating and totally inappropriate not to mention unprofessional in a restaurant setting with her long hair untied and down & dirty shoes on the seats right at the table but I’d hazard a guess this woman has had zero training & even less food or corporate life experience .. as I paid the £111 bill I quietly told her that it was an uncomfortable experience - her response was to say I offended her .. at which point I quickly reminded her she was being paid to be there & I wasn’t there for her opinion of me but I had paid for this shocking experience & had found it beyond over familiar and exceptionally unprofessional, she called me rude & smirked as said all complaints went to her & repeated this actually up in my face as I sat at the table with my daughter. I will be writing to head office as I’m pretty certain the extra bad attitude wasn’t an accompaniment to the steak dishes. Also as an extra insult It is not crème brûlée it is infact regular packet custard with a sprinkling of burnt sugar & the chocolate mouse was neither chocolate or mousse like - instead flavourless watery mush .. but it was kind of presented well, if that’s enough for £9! I cannot say the same for the servers who not only looked unkept but didn’t provide us with cutlery for our mains and despite questioning relentlessly on allergies we’re actually unable to answer any questions we had about the food and answered incorrectly for the dishes we ordered which we were assured were served with all sauces separately to the food .. this was not the case the lettuce comes smothered in sauce and needed to be returned despite us being told as we ordered that that didn’t happen - left with indigestion & the will never to return!

Wow! What a lovely restaurant. We were looked after by the lovely Irma, the food was absolutely delicious and such a treat! I had a lovely cocktail and loved it so much i had to have another. Wonderful food, atmosphere and people, thank you!

As soon as you walk through the door your made to feel welcome shown to our table The waitress was very helpful service was fantastic and for the food where do I start it was amazing cooked just how we liked it atmosphere great had a great night and rang the bell 3 times well done miller and Carter especially to the chefs and waiting staff you will definitely be seeing us again

A disturbingly erotic dining experience complimented by Sally's attentive & swift service.

Staff not very attentive. No one to greet us. I had to find someone. Empty restaurant and yet they sat us next to another couple... we could have sat anywhere.. instead we had to over hear another couples conversation. We had to find staff to ask for extra condiments. Desert never came with a chocolate shard as advertised. They food was decent to be fair.... but there was literally zero atmosphere in the restaurant and it was freezing with the air conditioning going and the doors open. Couldn't wait to get the bill and get out to be honest.

The food at the restaurant was amazing, the steak was cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Sally, provided excellent service and made our experience truly delightful.

Not sure where they get their chicken from?! It didn't taste like real chicken was so wierd also the texture was odd. Will never eat there again.

Sat outside in the sunshine and had the set lunch. Fresh calamari and the best Tomahawk pork chop ever. Unbelievably tasty. Highly recommended

Through my crippling depression and cynical out look on life I concluded nothing exists on purpose, no one belongs anywhere, and we all die alone. Roses are dead, love is fake, weddings are basically funerals with cake. The marching of time then delivered some exquisite beauty. Miller and Carter. Fillet mignon fired by the breath of angels, perfectly accompanied with lobster, fished directly from gods ocean. Delicately and tenderly slathered with a garlic sauce that could topple empires. The dining experience is just one thing. From the moment we took our seats, the beautiful Gemma tended to our every need, not only delivering the evenings repast, but doing so with kindness in her eyes, a smile to make the brightest star cower, and the softness and gentleness of every word spoken let you know you were home

Lunch time treat whilst visiting the area. What a charming place. Was a little busy for a Wednesday lunch but that did not impact the service in any way. Food was also amazing. £16.50 for a two course lunch which is fabulous value for a steak house.

We are regulars at Miller and Carter Kings Langley. The manager Javier is very warm and friendly and makes us feel so welcome. He especially takes the time to talk to us and he is very attentive and will pitch in to help when it is busy which is very unusual to see these days in restaurants. Today we had Mel serve us, she was prompt to take our order and attentive asking how our meal was. We have also had Clare serve us- she has a very friendly disposition. All in all the waitresses are a credit to Javier and the Miller and Carter restaurant chain. We will no doubt continue to be regulars as we can’t fault the food on each occasion.

Great place to come and eat when arriving late at the hotel with the kids. Food was good, and a pleasant spacious restaurant. Service was great from Shannon, being patient and helpful with the kids big decisions over what to eat. She also provided some good humour for them too which helps when you are trying to keep them in check! The best dish for the kids was the chocolate brownie, helpfully suggested by Shannon to have the icecream separate for my youngest who doesn't like them mixing! Thanks

Food was really nice apart from the chips that were stone cold and incredibly dry. Delivery was 45 minutes late. Steak was lovely and cooked just as ordered as was the burger.

Wow, wow, wow, what a place!!, what people, I swear you’ll never eat anything better than this, the staff are all friendly and just as scrumptious as the delicious food. The atmosphere is amazing I can barely contain the excitement as I wait in anticipation for my food, Mel is absolutely sensational, Jordan is amazing so kind and formal, Chloe what a manager absolutely made the evening with kind service, the young gentleman and women that bring the food are a team of stars so friendly and happy to fulfil your needs. If I could I would eat here everyday, and you know what I think will as the variety of food is here is superb. They all cheered when we rang the bell and all thanked me and my wife for dining here. The bar staff were quick and provided us with stunning cocktails, thank you Sam you were great. Yoinnas was so funny brought us dessert he was a delight so charming and kind. I love you Miller&Carter.

Had an an amazing evening with family today at the Kings Langley branch. We were served by Sally, a bubbly, enthusiastic, smiley and caring individual who made our time great. came in for a meal today and thoroughly enjoyed it. mel looked after us and she was really attentive and bubbly which made us feel like we were in safe hands! massimo brought our food and he was really polite and was quick with service!

Came in for meal last night and it was brilliant. The service was first class. Milla especially was a star and the food was amazing! The chef Cassie made fantastic steaks!

Went in for lunch the place was almost empty it's really big inside only about 5 tables with people on so we got seated got a drink straight away then we ordered our food which took ages to come had our starters then waited about 20minutes for the mains to come my husband's steak was almost raw and he wanted it med to well done and it was all gristle so sent it back mine was the same my sons was ok so he had to eat alone we waited another 15minutes but when it came it was lovely this time we did complain and thay gave us the 2 meals of the bill and free puddings and coffees so we was happy with that as thay put it right god knows how thay cope when the place is full
