I still think they either need to defrost their chicken longer or fry it a bit longer. I could never convince them of that...

Workers refuse to tell the difference between chicken drumsticks and chicken thighs, always getting the order wrong, and the food is horrible quality. They are also too lazy to maintain the ice cream machine and lie to the customers, telling them it's not working, when they are just using that as an excuse. I am never coming back here again. Please hire more efficient workers.

Recently went here for some dinner. Got rushed to eat and then kicked out at 7pm on a Thursday evening because they were apparently shut. Rude member of staff. Won't be going back to this branch of KFC for a while.

Poor service mangers tried arguing when asked how long order will be days jus cancel attitude not good. Times before have been ok

Smallest wings I've ever seen, strips and legs were a dirty brown as if cooked in our oil, maybe try the one in maylands

So just got our delivery. We clearly stated no mayo as we have an allergy .it's on the recipe aswell but yet they still put mayo so waste of a meal thanks KFC

Ordered online few times and they got order wrong first missed hot wings then missed fries on next order won't be ordering again from here stay clear there useless.

Portions were very small and I didn't like the chips they were not hot enough and tasted like curry

Closed 45 mins early, couldn’t take card payment so prompted you to use the app, after ordering on the app I was informed the things I ordered weren’t available and they were unable to refund because I’d ordered through the app. It’s really not that hard to just remove unavailable items from the app, other fast food places do it without issue

It's KFC so you know what you are going to get, service is a bit slow and waiting time for getting you food is a bit too long

Placed an Uber order for a Chicken Fillet Burger, two pieces of Original Recipe Chicken and Two Spicy wings with no lettuce in the burger and no chicken legs for the Original Recipe Chicken… guess what I received.… fuming as they won’t answer the phone, probably can’t see it as they can’t read an order either !

Waited over an hour for delivery, food was stone cold and inedible, refund request was rejected, save your time and money and go to an off-brand nearby.

Worst place to dine in .. dirty tables. Dirty toilets..

I have just bought a bargain bucket, the chicken is not cooked, see attached photo. In fact all pieces are not cooked properly. To matter worse, I have eaten one piece without checking. I will contact my local council if I am sick.

Ordered a meal for myself and kids (8 piece boneless feast) and had it delivered to the hotel we are staying at. Hurriedly opened it up when I got back o the room as the kids were "starving.." or so they said. Chicken itself was cold, but I thought fair enough these things can happen. Went to get the 1.5 ltr pepsi max out to poor drinks, only to find it not there. Instead, they gave me a 500ml bottle of water instead.... Yep thats going to go far between an adult and 2 teenagers... On the plus side, Uber Eats, fantastic service!!

Hi, I visited the KFC branch the name provided below yesterday evening 17th of January 2023 on Tuesday around 6.30 pm and would buy 6 pieces bargain bucket with kfc app 50% discounted price. I waited about 3 minutes the woman who packing and preparing the food, at the same time (Black Woman) she is cashier. that's really weird no proper cashier in KFC branch! She said "our system is broken"(as usual) we can't accept KFC app discounts and you should pay full price for 6 pieces bargain bucket. As a local, i am regular customer of this branch and they do this many times to rip their customers off. It is not new and they do this cheat everytime. I made several complaints to KFC CS last 5 years regarding this big issue, but KFC Marlowes Hemel Hempstead branch still applying this horrible and unfair behaviour. Therefore i cancelled the order left the restaurant without buying and drove to Burger King and ate there. As a result, KFC lost a customer yesterday evening. I am thinking NOT to buy any KFC food as KFC and its app is a big lie and its restaurants steals money with this way that not to apply 50% discount! i will move this complaint to every single online review platforms. I invite KFC headoffice to check and investigate this branch regularly and should seriously warn and punish this branch! KFC just lost a customer! FYI

I took one wrap of the day and after that 5 days I am very bud home sick, this guys are one of the worst Kfc I see, unprofessional they Dont smile no customer service 0 They don't know when to change they red cabbage and they poison me! Management in this place looking horrific Hope head office see that and do something soon, Cuz I am sure more people will get food poison soon.....

Dreadful experience today with the kfc in Hemel town … raw and completely cold food … disgusting would be an understatement, asked to have this situation amended and was shrugged off … would not recommend ….

Seriously!!!! What the hell. Ordered a 10 pc variety bucket and a few extras on just eat. Came to £36.06 What did I get show up at my door!! Small fries, a can of drink and 3 pieces of chicken. HOW CAN YOU GET AN ORDER THAT BIG SO WRONG!!!!!!!!! Just eat isn't to blame. The staff at this place are!! And unable to contact any of these people, because they seem to have turned the phone off when they're still open. Useless!!!!!

Staffs in the counter doesn't know anything about offers or how to operate the til. Bit rude the grl who served. The toilet was too dirty. It was no rush and hardly two ppl were eating they can't even Clean it.

the restaurant was dirty food and wrapping left on lots of tables And the toilet had no paper and the smell of urine was horrendous

Shocking, got my order wrong on more than one occasion and when I got home I discovered they had missed off an item, the thing is, if you can't understand why are they putting people front of house, shocking service, totally incompetent.

We ordered 2 meals with sides, the drinks were warm, the chips were cold and stale tasting and the chicken was dry and cold, in my opinion there has been no effort in service at all from the staff at this store, a complete review of these individuals is needed

It's alright if you haven't made plans for food. But if ordering for delivery I recommend that you don't, I have ordered many times for delivery and they have continued to disappoint me as I have found missing items from my order.

Was a nightmare experience ordered then waited 1/2 hour for them to put my order together and when it arrived I was very disappointed found it expensive for what I got. Penny

Predominantly, they sell chicken. Today, they didn’t have any chicken to sell. The staff member on the till decided to communicate with me by tapping some grease stained, illiterate, notice on the filthy protective screen that hangs (wonky) in front of the till. I tried to clarify what she was trying to say but she just walked off to grab a colleague. Said colleague then repeated the same style of communication. It took a good 5 minutes before me and my friend were able to clarify what was going on. Shocking customer service. No hand sanitizer in the dispenser, no hand soap in the toilets, sticky floors, produce just left on the shop floor, the smell of urine takes your breath away when you walk towards the toilet area however, the dried skid mark left in one of the pans definitely brightens the place up….. In short: this is the dirtiest and most incompetent KFC ever encountered.

Chicken was worst i ever had.. I ordered a meal with zinger burger and 2 wings.. wings was made with rotten chicken….although got fillet burger instead of zinger… worst service ever… would not recommend this surely…

Staff are completely rude and the food was completely cold. Might as well not even bother ordering anything. When you tell the staff that the food is cold you just get attitude back. Another thing is I ordered a fillet burger and had the smallest bit of chicken probably what they use for the kids meal and when asked them to change the pieces of chicken I just get attitude back. 1* is even a bit generous

plenty of disabled spaces, all empty, wardens operate a lot in this area as Council offices are near. Gave up and went to Iceland to get their equivalent.

Ordered via the app and still had to wait 35 minutes because the Just Eat orders were prioritised. Food is cold if you get it on Just Eat, and the food is cold if you get it from the shop. Order was wrong when we got home but couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of going back. McD’s next time.

Seating area was unusable. Food waste everywhere! Mentioned to the lady at the order point "is someone cleaning tables as I want to order a sit down meal?". They laughed like I was joking, started arguing about it and never came back to order point so I left. disgraceful service!

Ordered fillet burger meal and two boneless banquet box meals and they didn't give us the fillet burger! So one person had to go without. Plus the food received was cold. This isn't the first time we have had items missing from KFC in Hemel.

Nothing wrong with the food fortunately, but the staff is so so incompetent. A quick order of 1 piece of chicken and chips takes about 10mins to get ready in quite day !!!! Who ever is in charge of this shop should think seriously about improving the service.

Over run by delivery drivers just walking in and barging past to pick up food, there was at least 15 at any one time, i appreciate this is a good source of income but they desperatly need a better system for the sake of the walk ins. Has put me off until they sort something out

Food is ok, store layout is not thought out well, once you have ordered and waiting for food you must wait right in front of the entrance, causing confusion for customers entering by not allowing them enough space to enter and not knowing where to go to order.

Needs reorganisation, too many delivery (deliveroo/ just eat), people crowding the collection point and demanding their orders... no wonder staff get orders wrong

Bad service, ordered on just eat , accepeted my order driver picking up my order and then cancelled it after 2 hours of waiting😡

I always expect KFC to be great...but it rarely is.

So placed an order with Hemel Hempstead Marlowes and recieved a comfirmation. About half hour in a message came up to say the order was on it's way. Waited and waited nothing for another half hour, thus went to check my order info via Just Eat App to find the order had been deleted. (Upon checking with Just Eat advisor they failed give reason why and no resolution to sort the issue.) Further more, looking at the KFC order page it had changed from "taking orders" to "not taking order's" ten mins later then changed to "taking order's" The service recived is NOT acceptable, despite previous similar issues with KFC only reason came back to making with orders with KFC Marlowes is fact my partner likes KFC. Not only has KFC Marlowes let my family down, ruined our evening and now going to bed hungry. Recommend Sats Chicken down the road, better quality service and much more liable, when they are open.

Typical KFC food so no need to comment on the food but service and layout of this venue needs addressing. Customers standing everywhere so you cannot tell where the queues are and then you constantly get deliveroo and just eat drivers pushing past customers to get to the front. Staff look frazzled from overwork so they barely say two words to you as a customer as they just want you to take your food and get out of the building. Layout of the store could be reworked as they have plenty of space which isn't being used.

Same chicken meat everywhere... only the topping make the difference. .... more meat for less money opposite the road...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Poor customer serivce, the chicken was cold and pink. When you order a 14 piece bargain bucket you and you get 10 pieces. The toilets were absolutely disgusting the floors are wet theres no toilet paper. Absolutely appalling wouldn't eat here again.

Not to good workers not helpful

We used to like this KFC but they have gone right down hill. My hubby said the hot wings tasted like cardboard. The chips were dry. Then I had 1 piece of chicken out of bargain bucket, went for a 2nd to find a party of hairs on it all knitted together by the coating (see pic). It didn't taste anywhere near as good as it used to either. I spent basically £15 and we've had to throw most of it away. We will never be buying from this KFC again.

Absolutely disgusted with how incompetent the staff are. Lost all 3 of my rewards & didn't get any food due to a member of staff being so incompetent that they couldn't even void 1 single item & instead voided my entire order meaning I lost my rewards. Not even deserving of a 1 star rating, but it's the lowest possible. Never using KFC again unless their Customer Services team sorts it out.

Was happy to return to my local kfc and eat in, staff are happily serving those who want to eat in or work with the delivery. Finger licking good as always

Gravy was thinner here than the usual...not sure if it was an off day or this branch always has it thin, didnt stick to the chips like a dip as usually does
