Definitely will come back for the best ever pizza , They have very good quality pizza’s in Hemel Hempstead, and more specially mr pavan’s service to the customer is very excellent 👍… He also take care about the hygiene and veg & non veg pizza…. I am not a his friend or relative .. but that day i was there to collect some stuff in HP1 … that i was hungry so i choose not go Dominos then i went tops pizza really really right choice to go 👍👍👍👍👍 thanks to tops pizza team

£15.99 for a tiny personal pizza is abhorrent.

Food was ok, but the size for 10 inch doesn't even look like 10 inch, it was £15? Bit excessive to me, I asked for fanta but they gave me tango, and paid £3.50 for that too? Not really fancying ordering again if mistakes like this was made.

Left me and a friend violently ill leading us to have a couple of days off of work. Disgusting, greasy and obviously using out of date products. Steer well clear.

Worst Pizza ever. Soggy, undercooked, and took forever to arrive. Should be rebranded "Slops Pizza". Unhelpful, uninterested staff with agressive attitude. Never again. When will I learn ? The only decent Pizza is made not by Asians, but by Italians, who take pride in their food and its presentation.

Steer clear. the staff has disgusting attitude and don’t how to speak with customers one of the staff members grabbed my arm and luckily I got free I have reported this incident to the police

They don’t know how to run a shop I was with a friend of mine and they physically assaulted him he has reported this incident to the police. The manager does not know how to run a shop. The staff tried to surround me and pressure me. Disgusting behaviour

I ordered 2 large pizza and the lady on the phone said it’s buy 1 get 1 free. I went in to the shop and they charged me £16.99 if it was buy 1 get 1 free it would be 9.99 they can’t do maths and are false advertising and the lady on the phone needs to learn how to work at a shop. In the end they gave me 2 medium pizzas and said the large box had finished.

Pizza was not tasty and too spicy.

Very lovely pizza (without cheese!), staff always cheerful and helpful and great value.

Chilled out staff. Placed a hurried order at 0050 hrs and I collected it at 0100 hrs. So kind of them. Best dough and best bbq base for the chicken tandoori.

Such a shame as this used to be one of my favourite places but they serve meat to vegetarians then lie about it on the phone. They did send a replacement - proving what they initially served was, in fact, meat, but the damage was done.

I previously gave them a 5 star review on here!! But We had a terrible experience with the staff at this branch (Hemel) this evening (14th April 2023) and we have been ordering from them a long time. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The pizza arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes! Our Special pizza had no green peppers on it. I phoned the branch and told them but I could hear in the background the woman saying she 100% put green peppers on it!! Why would we lie about it given we have ordered from them before?? So I said give me your number and I will send you a photo of the pizza and so I did on WhatsApp which proved I was not lying. But even after this the man was so unhelpful. He said he would send us a replacement only if we don’t touch the current pizza meaning another 1.5 hours with 2 small kids already at 7.20pm. Seriously? What a complete joke. I said our kids have already taken a couple of slices as they were hungry he said then he can’t send us a replacement pizza. It was THEIR mistake and they took 1hr20 minutes to deliver - and he says I’m being unreasonable? Really? Never ordering from Topps Pizza again. Lots of other pizza places to go to instead.

Definitely my favourite pizza place in Hemel. I am totally addicted to the Tops Club pizza. I always seem to walk in to this place when I'm in town and want something tasty :) the chilli cheese bites are nice too... Hot and melty... But my fave side is the cream cheese jalapeno bites. Mmm just the right amount of cream cheesiness and big jalapeno chunks! The guys who work here are all so polite and friendly and someone keeps giving me extra chilli cheese bites :D thanks! If you were wondering, it tastes exactly the same reheated the next day... The dough doesn't go chewy at all so it means you can buy a large one :)

Good prices and collection deals but the food is gradually declining. They tell everyone 10 minutes so they are always rushing around, then serve you floppy undercooked pizza with soft stuffed crust. Very disappointed and most likely will go elsewhere next time

No proper management and bad maintenance.

I have been overcharged in my last two orders. I have had a delivery fee added, plus a service charge and an additional £1 added for no reason, thats a total of £2.70 extra each time i order. These charges do not show in the initial total but are added on once you make payment and then shown on your invoice, the invoice itself doesn't add up when you calculate the amounts shown. Please fix your payment system as I'm sure many of your customers are not even noticing the extra charges. I have contacted you via email and received no response.

One of the walkers was picking his nose and touching the pizza too much salt on pizza trynna give me diabetes

although the pizza does taste good as always, the condition it arrived in wasn't as shown in the photo. this doesn't always happen so I am confused as to what happened this time.

Stayed at the Travelodge in Hemel Hempstead, downloaded the app and placed an order for 4 pizzas, 4 side's, and 2 drinks with special instructions for two of the pizzas, it all got delivered within 45 mins, absolutely great service and the nicest pizzas we've all had in years

I have recently moved to the area and tried this place for pizza. It is amazing. Staff are nice and friendly and hold a good conversation. I have collected the pizza on all occasions due to waiting times and feel that there should be a discount for collections rather than delivery as it saves them money (fuel, wages, car costs, etc. ) and costs me, however the pizza is still top notch

After trying awful pizzas from other places nearby, we decided to try Tops when it opened and have never looked at another pizza place again. Tops pizza is always our go to pizza in Hemel. Delicious pizzas with ample toppings and lovely customer service when picking up. Always a pleasure ordering from Tops!

We now always order our pizza from Tops Pizza in Hemel Hempstead (Waterhouse Street) to be delivered to our house. After having tried lots of other pizza places, TopsPizza for us is the best pizza. Love the deep pan and always lots of toppings and lots of cheese. Love the cheese. Their pizzas look and taste great and we have tried so many different types now from their menu. Very good value. Easy to order online and customise your pizza. The delivery guys we’ve had have been very friendly every time. Pizza always arrives hot and on time. So I highly recommend this branch and will only order pizza from them now. Thanks.

Pizzas are tasty but the cheesy garlic pizza bread looks nothing like the advertised image. It was tasty but its like a thin crust cheese and tomato pizza.

Have ordered here many times but havent seen the workers wearing gloves or any protection, very unhygienic. Even the delivery drivers go to the back to make the dough!! After seeing this , never again from here !!

Best pizza in the whiel of hemel 100%

Terrible pizza delivered tonight. Greasy, soggy and clearly been reheated (as the cheese had melted over the cuts). Garlic dip was upside down in the middle of the pizza. Shall be going elsewhere in the future - never forget we have a choice.

i asked for one pepperoni and one cheese, took one bite and there was pepperoni on the inside of the pizza on both pizzas, they were freshly cooked but like who puts pepperoni inside the pizza?!

Just move to Hemel and I tried this place. Average food but Horrible Service. Aggressive and rude manager. Don't know how they're still in business, will not be buying from here again.. Do not recommend.

Delicious. No cheesier pizza on the market. Defo greasy, which makes it an ideal post pub treat. I have converted many a friend to Tops.

Average pizza place. Delivery quick. Great deals. Sides are really tasty. Unfortunately this visit one pizza slightly undercooked and one just tasted like it was left under a heater or something without much flavour. We have had really good pizza from here though, so it’s not a write off. Just today’s wasn’t great. Nothing disastrous though.

I’m a regular customer since the branch opened in Hemel and have recommended this place to loads of friends and family members too(generally don’t recommend but this place is/was special when it came to the pizzas). Yesterday I ordered my usuall large afghani special pizza. The amount of chicken was minimal on the pizza.It was cold by the time we got home which was 10 minutes after colelcting(normally it stays warm). It didn’t taste or feel fresh at all.also made my stomach upset. Very disappointed

Awful, Rank,greasey, over cooked/burnt top, luke warm centre!.just ordered one via a delivery and had to take it back to the shop.( after a few slices )was feeling sick. shame, it used to be okay. the manager took a bite and said it's fine! but his face said otherwise.the anchovies were clearly off! i'll be using Di Capri a few doors down from now on. had one of thier's a few weeks ago (great).funny thing is the manager in tops offered me a discount for next time! Anyone who goes to the trouble to return a pizza. is not coming back. other reviews on here must be friends and family!

Had problem when ordering through their website- pizza was sent to my old address. I called and sorted it out very quickly, new pizza was delivered in 30 mins to me. After few minutes the manager called me to ask if it was supposed to be halal. Yes we wanted halal, thank you brother so much for calling. Not everyone would bother to do so, so for me perfect customer service and food of course delicious.

Love this place - particularly for kids’ birthday parties. My brother is their biggest fan. Better than any chicken shops on Saxon road

Staff don't talk english, took my order and charged me for something they don't even sell, refused to give me my money back.

Offers are perfect, pizzas are perfect and staff are always happy to see you and makes you feel good.

The pizzas and other food are great and every thing is priced really well. Compared to other well known chains you will get a lot more for your money and the quality is just as good maybe even better. The delivery is normally very fast. I've ordered from them muitiable times with no problems.

Never again, everytime i order a pizza online or on the app i order no onions as i have an allergy. But when it turns up, suprise, the pizza has onions. Then everytime you call to say theyve made a mistake the guy that answers the call is very rude, swearing and abusive. I will be taking this now to trading standards as this is not on.

I just popped into tops pizza to find 2 big signs... 1 saying buy one get one free and the other saying collection price '£9.99'... after I placed my order I was informed that the buy one get one free doesnt apply to the collection price... It did not state this anywhere in no small print nor was it advertised in any way. It also doesn't make sense as if that rule applied I'd of been better of leaving and waiting for them to bring it to my house personally... No logic. No customer service. No pizza.

Fantastic pizza. Used to be a devotee of Dominos or Papa Johns, but too many late, cold pizzas prompted me to try something else. The pizza here is fantastic, far more authentic than the other 2 and always warm, on time and delivered with a smile. Fab place, highly recommended.

Great pizza, tasty sides and very quick delivery, but uncooked chicken sides put us off eating any of the rest of the sides!!

Never tried Tops before now but so glad we did. The deep pan crust was so fresh and light and with the vegetable topping which was generously covered, best pizza I’ve had in years. Won’t be going back to Dominos again!
