Best Kebab House in Dacorum

Have had a reasonable kebab from here and have had an naff one. It was a bit later in the evening and it I got the scrappings out of the pot they keep lamb doner warm in and the red cabbage was pink rather than red. It's an 'OK' shop but not my first choice for a kebab in Hemel.

The worst lamb doner I had in my life. Soggy slimy cabbage covers a tasteless one not sure if to call it meat that smells strange, waste of money.

Always have fantastic service and fantastic food, sometimes there are mistakes, but we make big orders!

I can't stress this enough. This is the best kebab place. I come from milton keynes to hemel (4 times a year) Always order from this place. The food turns up really hot 20 mins later and the kebabs are on point👌

I'm not one to give bad reviews but seriously just avoid this place. Ordered the lamb Donner and it was absolutely vile. Worst Donner kebab I've ever had in my entire life.....just hope I don't get any stomach bugs. Fortunately the sauces were good (not a true kebab shop chilli and garlic sauce but tasted more like cash and carry sauces)

We have been ordering from here for years but recently it has been getting worse and our last order was awful and ended up in the bin. That was the last time we’ll be ordering.

Been having deliveries from here for a very long time. After this evening not so sure, four kebabs all ended up in the bin. First two order was incorrect and red cabbage was awful and slimy. They delivered another two which were smothered and I mean smothered in chilli sauce and were inedible, complete waste of money.

Order a mixed kebab on the skewers and just got the normal meat doner meat, it was OK not much flavor

Absolutely perfect. Definitely the best kebabs and burgers in Hemel. I ordered at 1:20am and the food was amazing, delivery was spot on and the staff are spot on. I cannot fault this place, i will never order from anywhere else

Its getting worse after using this plaice for many years the service has gone down hill ordered a meal at 18.30 it is now 20.30 no delivery never again.

Good place to get your fast food . They have got bunch of options in pizza, burger and Donner kebab

Been ordering from this place for couple of years, gone worse recently, today we had the lamb that smelled so bad and tasted worse , after ringing they said its fine😄 horrible when they treat you like this, food was ruined , money lost , this was last time I ordered from you guys. Shame on you

Best chicken shish kebab in Hemel

Spent £14 on 2 medium Kebabs and both were absolutely disgusting , Binned Every piece of chicken was slimy and fatty , reconstituted chicken mash up NOT breast of Chicken , had food poisoning and severe stomach ache all night due to poor hygiene STEER CLEAR!!

Ordered again from here on 14/05/22 and this time was delicious. The previous time was too spicy. I went for chicken special shish and my daughter had large chicken shish and mother had the fish and chips and it was just right. We all enjoyed it. Thank you best kebab

Ah good old best kebab this place used to be the daddy unfortunately it's very disappointing these days.

Our shish was burned as I ask for separate salad I just had that . Very disappointed.!!

Heard this place was one of the best in HH for a kebab so I gave it a go. Customer service was ok & food was pretty average. Lamb donner meat wasn’t that great, very chunky and not cooked properly. However I recommend to give this place a try because it was busy when I ordered and other things on the menu might be decent.

Had our first Kebabs from you today.Couldnt fault it.. Perfectly Cooked lamb and chicken,the freshest salad and sauce although was on the meat and not in pots,was just the perfect amount 👌 10/10

So tonight we ordered our food to which I order quite often from here, yes we waited over an hour as they were extremely busy but I will always use best as it was absolutely amazing food, thanks murat and team we thoroughly enjoyed it, kirst.

Of all the kebab places in Hemel, and we are spoilt for choice, you can not beat Best Kebab House. Staff are super friendly, prices are good, and the food fantastic.

The places we often frequent for kebabs have gone downhill recently so we thought we try here again as had a nice takeaway ages ago,but it's not the nearest to home. Average prices to elsewhere and not bad food. Good, friendly, polite customer service and didn't charge us extra for having 2 sauces on our kebabs. Lots of meat but not much salad and pickles. Only thing was that chicken was the cheap type that's full of water, so texture was soft and moist and lacking in flavour, also tasted bitter and bit burnt in places, so we were disappointed.

Been coming here for years, think new people have taken it over, portions are half the size for same money and quality of salad has dropped, not fresh but rather wilted and soggy, don't think I will be returning

The chicken doner wrap was especially tasty but we were slightly concerned that some the staff had long exposed hair.

Loved the kebabs. Portions are very generous. A little pricey but worth it.

It is the Best Kebab (takeaway) House in Hemel. Food is scrumptious delivered by the very friendly helpful staff. The salads are always very fresh. Only issue, which they have no control of, is parking.

For the last 10years I’ve been getting food from here, never been a let down by their food!! also nicely priced and they deliver fast too!!

Expensive but worth every penny, go there every time I want a kebab!

Really lovely, tasty kebabs...worth driving out for. Only challenge is the parking, which isn't their fault but is rubbish in the area. I'd be there every week if I could guarantee a parking spot in the vicinity!!

I’ve visited Hemel Hemasted and I’ve seen “Best Kebab House” so I visited it. Employees were unprofessional, lack of professonal manner, constantly on the phone. I was waiting 20 minutes, doner wrap I ordered wasn’t not eatable but it wasn’t tasty, it wa lacking a taste, very basic, something you can make at home without paying £5. If you really hungry, desperate and got patience to wait you can try, if not somewhere else as it is not good kebab.

Only ordered tonight because marmaris was closed after a wake. Never again. Lamb shish was fatty and chewy, chicken shish just tasted burnt. Definitely NOT the best kebab at all.

I’ve ordered 3 times since my last review and it’s becoming very poor. Last two times I’ve asked for a bottle of coke with my meal and haven’t received them, maybe check the drivers car before he goes home. And the last time I ordered I didn’t get any chilli sauce as well? Not sure whether to risk ordering again. Also I spent well over £25 each order so it’s not cheap and should be correct.

After many poor meals at other kebab shops we decided to order from here for the first time, the food arrived within 20 mins, it was hot, tasty and well worth the money. I had their special kebab and the meat was tender and spicy, the chilli sauce was also hot as it should be, I’ve never had hot chilli sauce at other restaurants it’s always been like a salsa. I will never return to the Old town one again and re-order from here without hesitation next time.

I have been using these folks regularly for 20+ years, the quality of the food is consistently very good and I am happy to recommend. They also offer a free delivery service which is very welcome.

I don't usually give bad reviews, but I think this instance deserves an exception. I was driving through Hemel Hempstead and feeling a little hungry when I spotted this kebab shop. The prices were expensive for what was a standard doner kebab, but that wasn't the issue. The problem was that I had never eaten such tasteless meat. The doner was juicy, and not dry, so I assume it was cooked fresh, but it just had no taste; and I've eaten a lot of kebabs in my life. Just disappointed that I wasted my money.

I had two orders so far after a friend suggested the place. They offer free delivery and a 1.5L pepsi for over £20 order. Apart from that, everything just perfect! I will definately order from them again and again. Very good food, portions and prices! Best Kebab in Hemel!

We ordered two kebabs - one mixed kebab with no salad, one lamb doner with salad and a portion of chips for delivery at 7.15 pm on a Friday. We were told one hours wait time, which although was longer than desired we accepted! 9pm our food arrived, salad on both kebabs (not what we ordered!) and the food was cold! Not impressed!!

After kebab point changed hands it went down hill so started using Best and have to say after a lot of hype and half decent reviews, can confirm tonight will never use them again. Food ok, nothing more, just OK but the delivery service is diabolical. Never once has it been under an hour and a two and a half hour wait tonight was the final straw I'm afraid..

Definitely not best kebab house went to wrong address first food when it finally turned up was luke warm only reason for one star was because the driver apologised otherwise i would rate this place zero stars will not order again from them.

having flown out from spain for a wedding...I really needed kebab and chips...the place was nice and clean but the miserable staff could have been a bit more polite instead of staring at me like I was an alien..im from spain not a planet...no smiles,.no sense of humor nothing.. that's why I wouldn't go back...I asked for a small donner kebab and it was a small one but it was still a very huge one, very generous with their sizes...it tasted delicious and non greasy, chips were perfect...however I would have preferred the meat in slices not chunks....but the food really was 100% tasty...

The guys there are brilliant and the kebabs are second to none. Go out of my way to get a Kebab from here as I live 6-7 miles away. Keep it up lads.

Have used this place for many years. Love the food and always delivered in good time when requesting delivery. Chicken Kebab is delish and as already mentioned here, Best Kebab does the best Red Cabbage anywhere! Don't hesitate in getting food from here :D
