Food was ok, service was a little slow and a little too much interest in my 22 year old daughter from the waiter / manager. The worst part was the stench of burning plastic, which was their way of disposing of waste. Overall not the best experience and it will be unlikely that I return any time soon.

Booked to celebrate my birthday. Food was fab, wish they had a few more non meat options. Also a few more gin options as it is listed. Lovely place to sit and watch the lake. Would recommend to friends. Would come again

This was our first time trying various items on the menu (ribs, wings, chicken club, etc). It was a late afternoon, on a Saturday, and we didnāt order in advance (our fault), so we had to wait about an hour for our order. It was definitely worth the wait. It was delicious!!! Donāt let the exterior of the building fool you: it was a clean, well organized establishment.

We have just been to sample the new afternoon menu. BRILLIANT can't wait to go again. It'll be even better when the weather improves and you can eat outside . Good sized nibbles in small dishes. Recommend you order all five, plenty for two to share. The chunky chips with sandwiches were heavenly.

Excellent food and service from start to finish. This is very local to us, but still always a treat to go and enjoy. Regular specials in the menu and the coupon that own and run the restaurant are fabulous. Ingredients and standard of cooking is outstanding.

First visit to this takeaway while on holiday in Wells. Lovely helpful lady at the counter. I ordered large pancake roll, prawn crackers and special chow mein. All absolutely delicious and fresh tasting! I'll definitely be back on our next visit! š

Not been there before but decided to pop in for lunch, mainly as itās dog friendly. What a great place! A lovely old barn with a garden (dogs allowed in both). The staff were friendly and the food was very special. I had poached eggs on toast with bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the whole plate was delicious. My husband had pork 3 ways on toast which came with a little pot of olives and he said the same. It was by far the best food that weāve had around here. Not the cheapest but the quality of the food definitely warranted that bit extra.

I'd been wanting to try the place for a while since I always saw it full of people, so it must be good right? No. Mediocre service, extremely long waiting times (for 2 avocado toasts & 1 jacket potato) and they got my order wrong twice, I couldn't eat my food in the end because of it (i just asked for a jacket potato with no cheese, there was cheese BOTH times). Despite the order mistake we pointed out they shrugged it off. We where sitting outside near the window into the kitchen and I say a health inspector should be called, appalling stuff going on in there.
