We found this Thai restaurant on Tripadvisor and it was as good as the reviews. The menu was vast and everything was homemade. Portions were a good size and everything was delicious. If you don't like the food spicy, just tell them when you order otherwise it might come a bit too spicy for you. We had the Som Tum, which was very spicy, but authentic. The crispy beef was yummy, the spring rolls filled with Larb chicken a must. We were lucky to have crab fried rice and we had that with sizzling king prawns. We will definitely go back when we visit Norfolk again.

Staff friendly. Enjoyed our bacon sandwich and early bird breakfast.

Awesome place. A good choice of ice cream but not so overwhelming to make it difficult to decide. Nice cakes (not too much in the way of gluten free options if you need that) and some decent looking savoury food. Turkish delight milkshake is fantastic.

Ordered 2 large cod and chips. Had been looking forward to this after reading all the great reviews. We were down in Kessingland for a few days and on our last day decided to have fish and chips for our last meal. Chips were okay a little bit soggy, but on par with most places, however for 8.50 for a large cod we had the thinest smallest piece of fish I'd seen. Tasty but terrible value for money, I'd hate to see what the regular portion was. Skin on the fish and the batter was dark and over cooked.

Don’t want to do a self absorbed w@nky look at me I’m a food critic cos I’ve seen master chef review , so here goes . All the food we had was very good with amazing flavours and textures , as was the wine. The staff were friendly , knowledgeable and professional without being intrusive . The restaurant itself is comfortable and a nice place to be . Overall very impressed and have wanted to try it for some time. Ok it’s a bit pricey but it’s the kind of place you visit for a special occasion . Will visit again .

We stopped here by chance & so glad we did. The gentleman running the cafe (on behalf of his daughter I believe) was an absolute gem, he made time to chat to everyone, entertained us all & provided top notch service along with the rest of the team! You would never have known they were short staffed as the service was great. Food was delicious (best bacon sarnie I’ve had for a while) Next time we visit Southend we will definitely return!
