Fantastic fish and chips. Fish was lovely and fresh. Be sure to book a table. It’s very popular and soon gets booked up. Can definitely recommend this place when you’re staying in Kessingland area.

The two of us were staying at the Parkdean site down the road, fish and chips was suggested. We decided to book a table to ensure we got in. This is a quaint fish & chips restaurant also with a seperate takeaway counter. It's run by very nice people, the boss and the waitress, very pleasant to deal with. Now the important bit, this was one of the best fish & chip suppers we've ever had and we've had quite few over the years, some better than others but this would take some beating. I couldn't believe it when the plates were presented to us, the freshly cooked to order cods were rather large to say the least, delicious and piping hot accompanied by loads of great chips and a large portion of mushy peas. We added tea for two and three x bread & butter, all for under £30. If you are in the area and fancy fish & chips I can highly recommend eating here, we look forward to a repeat performance next time we are in Kessingland. They are licenced and serve alcohol if required. Keep up the good work guys, Gary & Rhona.

We have been here lots of times & have NEVER had a single complaint ever. We have had the Haddock, Plaice, Cod, Skate & Rock Salmon & every time PERFECT! The chips & pickled gherkins ( a wally, as we call them) perfect too. Washed down with a couple of glasses of Pinot for me & a Dr Pepper for my Husband. YUM EVERY TIME!!

We have been to this great restaurant several times, quite often arriving after an envigorating excursion on two wheeled transport. The service is always excellent, it is a family run business and a friendly welcome is always on offer. Dependable fish & chips of the highest quality. Highly recommended !

We had takeaway haddock and chip. Lovely! Proper fish and chips cooked in beef dripping! Huge portions, couldn't eat it all, would have shared 1 portion if we had known. Really recommend this place. They also have a licenced restaurant here.

This is a great fish and chip shop in the centre of Kessingland. As well as having an area for takeaways, there is also an area for dining within, with table service. Delicious Cod Chips and mushy peas and when you add the fact that the premises are licensed, it’s a win win. Food cooked to order and a good choice of bottled beers and wine. Would definitely pop in again if ever in the area.

We wanted to eat in, when we popped in all the tables had reserved signs on but my husband asked on the off chance and they cleared the table where they kept the sauces etc for us to use. We were sat near where they battered the fish in the chippy and the owner was very friendly and chatty when he came over to prepare the fish (which was quite a lot as they were very busy!) There was a good range of different fish, sausages, pies etc on offer, I chose haddock and chips with mushy peas and when the young lady taking the order heard me say how i would most likely give some of the peas to my husband she offered to put them in a separate pot to make that easier. My husband had a steak pie and chips. Both lovely Both meals were freshly cooked and very tasty. Good crisp batter and excellent chips. I finished off with a Knickerbocker glory which was just how I remembered it as a child, very nice. All in all excellent value for the quality and quantity of food and service. The fact that they are constantly busy mainly with locals shows for good they are.

Really really good!!! We managed to get a table in the restaurant early doors which was a stroke of luck. The service was brilliant, fish n chips fresh & delish, drinks selection excellent and very good value. The queue out the door says it all!! Will definitely book and go again!! So all in all a great chippy whether you eat in or take away. Perfecto!

We usually go here for fish and chips . They make it freshly for every person. There is a wide choice of fish , sometimes you need to queue But there is always someone to chat to! The fish and chips are delicious and well worth the wait.

My friend and I were on a long weekend in Kessingland and visited the Beach Fish and Chip Shop. Originally we had planned a takeaway but on arrival discovered that there was a table service. Although neither of us are Gluten Free we both prefer the taste and texture of a Gluten free option and were delighted that this was offered on the menu. The fish was really fresh and the chips were crisp and non greasy. The whole meal was delicious and the service friendly and exemplary. We would definately recommend you visit.

It's a chippy, it's in the village, but it's not really very near the beach. It's good though, just what we wanted. Fish n Chips n real mushy peas, done to order, proper job. Very reasonable prices. The beer's cheap too. Eat here.

The fish is really fresh and always freshly cooked. The chips are lovely and fluffy inside. Really good value for money, and nice to have a local beer with dinner. Desserts are amazing. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

As a local, regular customer I can say they used to make nice food but the last few months the prices have shot up, portion sizes shrunk and the quality right down. Half of every portion of chips is shrapnel and the fish size is very small. Never going back. Rather cook at home from now on.

Honestly, the worse fish and chips I've ever had the misfortune to eat. The fish was dark on the underside which shows it was frozen(even though they advertise the fish is fresh daily. The chips were also awful, how can you nit cook a decent chip in a fryer? It beggars belief🤨. £11.00 for a portion, in these times they really should be doing better. Very very disappointed, I would highly recommend you self cater when visiting kessingland as we didn't have a decent meal out I the whole five days we were there(bith with upset stomachs)and got so fedup we cut our holiday short and headed home

Absolutely shocking chips. Probably the worst I have ever had. There was a long, long wait as everything is cooked to order. No problem with that as I was presuming I would be getting a freshly cooked battered sausage and chips. But no. The chips were undercooked, some almost raw and so, so greasy. The sausage was dripping in grease. A really dreadful experience .
