Awesome place. A good choice of ice cream but not so overwhelming to make it difficult to decide. Nice cakes (not too much in the way of gluten free options if you need that) and some decent looking savoury food. Turkish delight milkshake is fantastic.

We popped in on the spur of the moment for a coffee, although ice cream seems be the popular choice of other customers, comfortable and airy, good coffee and service.

No return to Felixstowe would be complete without a return to the Little Ice Cream Company on the sea front. Still fantastic ice-creams with a wide range and quick friendly service - though getting very expensive for a family - i know prices are rising everywhere due to inflation etc, just seemed overly expensive for an ice cream.

This is a great place for a coffee or light snack. We visit on a regular basis and the staff our always friendly and helpful. Decent quality coffee served in large mugs or cups so good value. Try the homemade cakes they are very good.

Yum, always meets our expectations! Cauliflower and stilton soup with a scone and a cheesy thing beginning with c and ending in la that I can't spell! All lovely. Friendly helpful staff and our fave and regular haunt in Felixstowe. (Oh yes and they do ice cream if you're interested too!)

We visited The Little Ice Cream Co. during a family break in Felixstowe. We came across this little shop while walking back to our hotel and thought it would be nice to stop for a treat. They have a great selection of ice cream flavours, so like most people, we took a couple of minutes to look and decide. The lady taking our order got impatient, she was unfriendly and just stared at us the whole time. We ordered 3 ice creams in cones, they tasted average, nothing special. We sat inside to eat our overly priced ice creams and the tables and chairs were dirty and sticky. There were lots of flies buzzing around and the toilets smelt awful. Everytime someone went to the toilet and opened the door, a disgusting over powering smell drifted out into the shop. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting again.

I bought a coffee frappe on Sunday 14th of August and was very disappointed with service and especially quality of frappe that is mainly made from ice.There was no ice at all in this frappe,only scoop of ice cream,milk and I belive shot of coffee :-(It wasn't refreshing at all on this hot day I can describe it as very milky and not enough cold due to lack of ice just discusting.Apart from that after I bought it I was informed that there was no straw ...so how they expecting me drink from a frappe cap with round big hole at the top I don't know??? Never will go ther again and warning not to buy a frappe from this place.

Very friendly staff and excellent home made ice cream with a fresh crunchy cone. Mint choc recommended by me and strawberries and cream by my other half.

Amazing little café. Came here looking for a list of the flavours available so that I could drool over it and make a choice in advance next time...but I can't see one so I can at least offer... Palma Violet is incredible! Coffee and Oreo absolutely amazing Jaffa Cake not quite as good as the coffee and Oreo for me but still excellent Other flavours we saw but haven't tried yet are Chocolate seashells Cookies and cream Bounty There are tons of flavours - be sure to stop here and try one!

Friendly staff who go above and beyond. Really good with children. Great quality food and drinks. Dogs are welcome too!

A lovely little ice cream parlour with loads of different flavour ice creams. Ice creams are full of flavour and really big portions.

stopped here for a coffee and snack, which were very good, also bought the best ice cream for walking home with. Covid safe.

Don't give this a miss, it's alway on our list whenever we are in the area. We have been visiting this little gem for years and the children as well as us have a longing to get their ice creams over anything else that is on offer in felixstowe. Don't avoid this is one not to be missed for sure.

Called in for ice cream and cake on a Sunday afternoon. We had the best carrot cake ever, it was very moist and also gluten free, so it was suitable fo my partner too. The ice cream was wonderful, and the service was excellent from the young lady serving. Very smart cafe. We will definitely return.

We visited here for the first time on Saturday. Our little boy was so chuffed with the choice of ice creams and toppings. I had the scone which was equally delicious. Only downside we would say is there was a lot of dogs in the cafe sprawled over the floor and it made it very difficult to move around especially in an already small area. Plus one of the dogs was very wet and smelly and this did make our experience less enjoyable. Food and service 10/10 however animals in such a small food place is a big thumbs down from us.

Favourite place for my Granddaughter, such a wide selection of Ice Cream made locally. Dogs are also very welcome and a bowl of cold water it provided for them.

Well worth visit.. we come a few times a year and love it here.. yes it’s a little expensive but it’s what u pay for hand made ice cream.. the food is exceptional and tasty. Dairy free ice cream is one best I tried!Always friendly staff! Thanks guys x

The parlour had a lovely range of ice creams that I had such a hard time deciding what to go for! In the end, I decided upon two scoops; one palma violet and one bubblegum. It looked super tasty although I never got chance to decide whether it was after it fell off the cone straight away! I wouldn't have minded so much but with the long wait and their prices, and the server rushing us feel rushed to make a decision, I expected them to pack it on a little better at the very least. I was very disappointed. As nice as the flavours look, it has put me off going again if they are unable to even put an ice cream cone together properly! I think when you're paying such a premium price for ice cream, there should be something that makes it worth it, whether it be good service, or in my case, no ice cream!

So, having landed in Felixstowe a cuppa was required, with cake! I had an Americano and the lemon cake accompanied was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, but, what we didn't have was the ice cream... We did however the next day. Wow! Well presented, tasted amazing and what a great collection of flavours to choose from, and all made locally. Worthy of a 5!

We popped in for ice creams wow what a small ice cream the smallest scoop of ice cream I have ever seen it fell down inside the cone £2.50 the staff really looked like they did not want to be there.

We have visited this establishment many times. Excellent staff which is matched by its quality decaffeinated coffee (my preference drink) although no reason to suspect the caffeinated doesn't match it. Recommend the lovely cheese scones. The home made soup has not disappointed me either.There is a selection of ice to die for too! The grandchildren love it. A nice selection of snacks etc. which changes regularly. I cannot believe anybody would be disappointed visiting this location.

Very good ice cream. We had chocolate and mocha. This is the place to go according to my niece who lives in London. Long walk is mandatory before indulging.

Really like the scones! Its a handy place to meet friends for coffee and we often drop in if my husband and I going for a walk along the prom.

Excellent ice cream! I would recommend chocolate and cookies&cream;! One morning we had breakfast there and we really enjoyed their cappucino. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I dropped my ice cream on the floor, and they kindly refilled my cone for free. So, if one day you happen to be in Felixstowe, go and try it!

I always stop at the Little Ice Cream Co whenever in town. Always an absolute treat!! Fresh locally sourced and made ice cream, though there may be a queue, it is well worth the wait.

I organised a little birthday meal for my daughter's birthday party and we were very impressed by the generous portions of food and the very good service. They also included balloons for all the children and made a nice birthday cake. The parents had coffees, teas and cakes and they were very good too. Highly recommend them. And by the way, I don't normally give any reviews unless it is exceptional.

This is another cafe which is very friendly and the food and ice cream is good value we always take my grandchildren here for lunch and a ice cream

Went to here for a treat for my grand children it was absolutely delicious. A bit pricey but worth it. Only problem was what flavour to choose 😊

This little cafe / ice cream parlour is a must-do whenever I have the opportunity. Situated just opposite the leisure centre and pier it is perfectly suited for post-swim calorie replacement. The ice cream is wonderful with some interesting flavours and they always give you a very generous scoop. The hot chocolate with marshmallow and flake is divine and they also do hot and cold food although there is a limited menu. The shop also caters for children's parties where they can watch the ice cream being made on site although I have not yet done that.

Best Ice Cream in Felixstowe. Made from milk from a local farm. Many flavours. Very nice lunch. Soup, pasta,sandwiches and toasties. Very clean and staff friendly and helpful.

The girls serving are very efficient and I'm so pleased to get a teapot etc instead of a mug(with tea bag still in) as In the early days! Not a great selection of food, whenever we have eaten there, but delicious and wholesome.

Yummy ice cream and treats, lovely location. Does get very busy if you want to sit in though. Easy parking nearby.

We pop in here after we have visited the Leisure centre. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Always made welcome. Superb coffees,cakes and scrummy icecreams. Highly recommend a visit.

On a very hot day in August on a walk along the prom I was looking for light refreshment and was delighted To find that they serve vegan ice cream/sorbet. Very delicious! They also serve light meals and drinks.

Have been holidaying in the area. Have already managed to try run and raisin, coconut sorbet and banoffee! All lovely. Hoping to try one of their sundaes before I leave too!

Wow, what a great ice cream. Went for a walk on the prom yesterday evening and wanted an ice cream other than a whippy type. Plenty of choice of flavours and I went for the 3 scoops!! The vegan chocolate is fantastic with a deep chocolate flavour. Also had a bounty and salted caramel flavour. Reasonable value with food portions and friendly service. I feel the need for another walk on the prom soon!!!

Great place to have a drink, snack or indulge in one of the many different flavoured ice creams. Vegan, dairy free, gluten free in tub or cone - you decide - and add sprinkles or sauce to complete. Love treating the grandkids here, convenient after a swim or walk on the prom. Really enjoyed the ginger and cherry, whilst granddaughter tried the bubble gum and Parma violet combination. Could indulge here all the time!

Really nice options for ice cream and light bites but both my children struggled to find things they would want, both ice cream and lunch. Ice cream I tried was delicious and cheaper then the one from the pier!

A lovely place to have a drink and bite to eat. Great selection and helpful friendly staff. Plenty of seating available in a comfortable area.

My only problem with this place is that there were too many ice cream flavours to choose from! Including dairy-free, vegan, and gluten free options; fruit sorbets; and truly decadent chocolatey flavours. The stem ginger was particularly nice. Staff were friendly, the coffee was good, and the prices were reasonable. Their baked goods looked tantalising, too, but I knew I wanted ice cream! Lived up to my high expectations.

We visited on Thursday afternoon and had two sundaes. The choice of ice creams was amazing and they are all home made. I definitely recommend this ice cream parlour. The kids really love it here.

A Great little cafe with a great selection of ice creams flavours all made locally. Just what you need for a day by the seaside. The cafe also does hot drinks and cakes and seats around 50. A regular staple when going to the beach!

Visited Little Ice Cream shop opposite the Leisure Centre on Friday evening. Shop was quite and we enjoyed a selection of Ice Cream flavours and a cream tea which was served with either tea or coffee. Friendly service and lovely Ice Cream

We come here regularly, the tea is superb, proper leaf tea in a nice pot, comfy sofa in the window, lovely staff, great choice of cakes including gluten free and of course yummy ice cream too!

Always visit this place when I'm in felixstowe. A vast array of ice creams at a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend the lemon curd. Paninis at lunch are also a must. A real little gem.

I took my two children for a treat. The ice cream is lovely and good value. The staff were friendly and polite even though they were very busy. They gave my children time to chose their ice creams and toppings.

I used to come here as a child many years ago and have made it a place to go every single time I'm in Felixstowe. The service was quick, even with a long queue. There is a large variety of ice cream. The ice cream is delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed!

Great proper Ice Cream, had a freezer problem when we visited thus restricted range, however what we had was very good, will be back to try other flavours.

We have used the Little Ice Cream Co many times in recent months. It is always excellent for the home made ice cream, and good value if you like all the toppings. It is also good for morning coffee and tea, and does lighter lunchtime meals. It is a small place, so gets very busy at this time of year, but the staff cope very well and are always pleasant and helpful. We now often take viitors there for the experience, and taste of locally produced ice cream, and can thoroughly recommend it.

Ice cream in here is so amazing. Flavours are incredible. Great for adults and children. Loads of variety and extras to make the perfect ice cream.

This place is a 'must' if you visit Felixstowe on a hot day! The range of ice creams is impressive and the price for sundaes is really good value. I had a two-scoop one which comes with 2 toppings (I had smarties and a flake) and 2 sauces plus squirty cream if you want it. Ideally you need to time this to be able to have a nap once the sugar crash hits!!

Came here for lunch. Enjoyed mozzarella toasted sandwich cup of tea and a scrummy white hot chocolate.Good choice for lunches, ice cream, sundaes, cakes, coffees. Only thing wrong was bread was a bit tough.

Great ice cream & coffee, shop is absolutely spotless. I do often go in as like all of it but the services is very poor. No smile, have seen them refuse food to old people because they missed ordering by one minute even though they queued for long. Staff speak amongst themselves whilst serving customers but not to customers

Don't really want to post this review as I want this place all to myself. Just amazing home made ice cream always with different flavours to try. They do home cooked food as well and my eating companion rated the tea cake very highly. Can't comment on that as we didn't try it but I would fully expect it to be as excellent as the ice cream.

I am always likely to spend my hard earned in an eatery that offers as this does free range dippy eggs and soldiers (Lovely) and this is a very nice laid out establishment offering good food and tempting ice creams. It also commands an excellent position (business wise) being opposite the beach, leisure centre and soon to be new multi million pound pier, and maybe that is also why I haven't scored this higher. Because there was it appeared to me to be an air of complacency, which is a dangerous thing as left unchecked it can breed contempt. You see what let this place down was the surly, eye rolling service from the very young staff working hereEvery request was met with a mixture of nonplussed faces or heavy sighs, there were plenty of staff but no sense of cohesion or leadership and this led to inaccuracies over what was on offer, long delays between ordering food and it actually arriving (Separately) and a seeming inability to use discretion over a simple request to change something. Shame because the kerb appeal promises so much

A wonderful alternative to the chain coffee houses in town and has a unique menu of food and snacks to compliment the drinks, including a range of fantastic home made ice-cream. Atmosphere is very enjoyable and has a nice classy feel, much different to many other places on the seafront. Would highly recommend the home made soup which is served with a cheese scone instead of a roll.

Our whole family loves coming here. Great selection of ice creams, not the cheapest but in my opinion you get what you pay for, superb quality ice cream! Never had a lunch or cake from here but the lunch menu is simple but looks inviting and like i would still have to take time to pin down a final choice!

Yes they do kiddies parties.. but we're not really kiddies anymore are we? But coffee, cake, scones and ice-cream.. mmBut Jessie was so happy to welcome us one evening with a few friends to a sort of afternoon tea in the evening. It was relaxed, comfortable, and we were well looked after by Kris and Amber.We wanted low key and our lovely friends made a great relaxed evening. I almost don't want to tell you about it just in case next time we go there's no space left for us to enjoy a coffee. The only thing we forgot to do was to get our loyalty card stamped.. 23 times!!

Plenty of choice of tasty ice creams, savouries and cakes along with lovely coffee and teas. Wonderful staff who are attentive especially when it comes to serving the ice creams. I believe a lot of the products are made/baked on site.

The ice cream choice is very wide and can be mixed. Sundae's can have extra toppings such as mini marshmallow's sprinkles, small smarties etc.,

Great grandad and his friends come in every Friday after their exercise class and they all pile the calories back on! It's difficult not to, as everything is so tempting and the staff so friendly and patient. Today the great grandchildren joined in the feast and great fun was had by everyone. The service is a little slow but justified due to all drinks being individually made and at this time of year the ice cream is very frozen and hard to serve, all very forgivable. Roll on next Friday.

This is a fabulous place. As a coffee shop alone it knocks the chains such as Nero, Starbucks and Costa out for 6. BUT where it really wins is the icecream. Wow wow wow. Locally made gorgeous icecream in flavours I have never seen anywhere else. The Turkish delight is amazing. Other flavours are equally delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is the best place. The only downside is it gets so busy. But then that is hardly surprising considering how great it is. Me and my family live it. You should visit.

Fine for a quick coffee and a snack.The place gets pretty full during the summer months so that must say something about it.

Delicious hand-made ice cream, with lots of delectable flavours, extra toppings and sauces. We visited on a cool October afternoon, the place was packed and we had to wait for a table. They also serve Cream Teas and light snacks. The only disappointment was that they don't have Knickerbocker Glories on the menu!

Always great, friendly service. Quality homemade ice cream in lots of delicious flavours. Hot chocolate is excellent, so are the teas & coffees. Homemade light lunches , scones, cakes etc. are fab. A place that you may walk pass & not notice.

Such friendly staff, fantastic selection of ice creams, coffees and home made cakes at a reasonable price. Highlight for me was the strawberry milkshake, with ice cream, sauce and cream. Yummy. They also do cream teas, freshly made sandwiches and today's specials which on Sunday was home made chilli/pasta bake.

3rd visit this year had lunch which consisted of tomato soup - best tomato soup i have ever tasted , great sandwich , fantastic coffee , salted caramel ice cream and a bounty ice cream ! Service was great and the lady who made that soup that was so yummy

This was my first visit to The Little Ice Cream Co and it certainly won't be my last! It took me ages to choose as there are so many exotic flavours, then you get offered toppings and sauce. The colours are so attractive, the helpings are generous and, of course, they taste good too!

Superb, generous scooped ice creams, delicious crumbly scones, a perfect after school treat! We particularly love the banana, toffee Apple and any fruity cheesecake or pavlova flavoured ice creams ❤️

We had been walking along the Heritage Trail when we saw this shop which had been featured in the East Anglian Daily Times as one of 10 good places for ice creams. We particularly wanted to try these as they make their own ice cream using milk from local dairy cattle. We were not disappointed - a lovely selection of flavours and really excellent ice cream.

Small place but amazing atmosphere..on warm days the front is opened up..giving a lovely continental feel. Based right on the sea front you get a lovely fresh breeze in this heat. Reading the paper with a cuppa...treating the children...friends having cake...its all just perfect here...choose from huge range of ice cream...yummy cakes..lovely lunches and a range of drinks. Perfect 'drop in' local.

Nicest ice cream in felixstowe. If you've had proper Italian ice cream then you will be disappointed. This is local made and very nice. Wide variety of flavours and well priced.

This place is one of our regular go to's - especially in the winter. Our favourite - and in my opinion the very best value - is the two big takeaway tubs - stuffed full of as many flavours as you can get the delightful assistants to cram in - for only £8 (one for £4.50). As this ice cream is always made fresh - you can delay gratification and freeze it as soon as you get home - but otherwise pick up a couple of long spoons (just ask them) and about four napkins (as the tub will get condensation on it and you will get wet as you are eating it) and enjoy. I am always surprised by the new flavours - on Sunday there was parma violet and kiwi sorbet - these were both looking very pretty in pastel lilac and pastel lime green. Also sell extremely good coffee, giant scones, great cakes and bakes - and scrumptious hand made sausage rolls. We will be back soon x

Good selection of flavours, friendly staff, good value for money.. We enjoyed a sundae for £3.95. The sundaes are nearly the same price as the cones, so make sure you go for the sundaes.. you get a lot more! Would definitely visit again.
