The Laydens in Suffolk Coastal

Nice food, sociable staff that'll go that extra mile for you, and a clean, organised eating area. I particularly liked the breakfast 🍛 I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for a bottomless hot drink with it, but then I do drink like a fish 😆

Ordered online and staff left a lovely note on the box to get well soon as we had noted that we were all very sick so the delivery driver didn’t catch it as well. Five stars lovely service made me feel a bit better! :)

I have eaten here a couple of times. The service is quick, food is hot, and the eating area is very clean. From what I can see the kitchen area is in an orderly manner. I truly enjoyed eating here and look forward to my next visit.

Lovely little café with such friendly staff Hidden away from the sea front but offering excellent fresh cooked food at extremely good prices Well worth a visit if you are in the area I would highly recommend you give this small cosy café a try I am sure you will enjoy it

I have never once been in the Laydens when it has not clean, the food for the type of cafe is excellent and most of all the staff are always friendly and it makes you want to go again and again. Its like one big family really. My friends and I look forward to going there week after week.

Excellent value meals of all sorts on the menu best prices in whole town for breakfasts and lunches Staff are all volunteers and very welcoming loads of things offered not just meals Visiting on the right day can see you having your blood pressure checked by the parish nurses or a group of people sitting knitting and if you want to learn sign language new course starting soon it not just a cafe it's a centre for the community young and old

Decided to pop in for breakfast today. The premises are spotlessly clean, the staff courteous and polite and the service extremely quick.The food itself was of a generous size, well cooked and what an amazing price, excellent value for money indeed.We will most certainly be back again in the future and not just for breakfast...everyone was so amazingly welcoming and willing to chat.

I've been to this café before a couple of times but this time they had everything sorted, I had the breakfast and a cuppa, very well priced and hard to beat for value, the food this time was cooked much better and the quantity was more than I expected, moving on nicely from when they hadn't been open very long, the atmosphere is very relaxed and sociable, everywhere I saw was clean, the only drawback I can think of, is that it's a shame their not open till early evening, a credit to all the volunteers and everyone that makes it possible.

Este es el mejor café en Felixstowe. Siempre limpia. Ofrecen el mejor desayuno de lejos y al mejor precio. Alex y su personal debe estar muy orgulloso de lo que este café ha logrado. Han recorrido un largo camino para llegar a la fase en. y siempre mejorando para ayudar a la comunidad local.Para llegar a la conclusión este es el mejor café en Felixstowe intenté cada café al menos 3 veces para que mi juicio ahora solo el retorno a la Laydens. Me tome mis compañeros y mi familia y los niños. A cualquiera que no ha sido probarlo. Le sorprendió gratamente.

I visited yesterday it was bright clean and very welcome but the best part after speaking to the friendly staff there I enjoyed a full English breakfast and a coffee for only £3.00 and was over the moon with the price and the quality of the food for the price I paid would recommend to any body looking for a cheap decent breakfast in Felixstowe to pop in the laydens
