Best place around. Fresh food, great service and great prices. Don't be put off by the bus. Not your average greasy burger van. Great salads and healthy food in the summer. Being a top boxing trainer the owner understands and supplys healthy weight loss programs/food packages as well as good humble traditional food. One of suffolks best kept secrets. Great produce/talent/Grub hiding away in a old coach/bus.

If you don't know it is here you will miss it. Can be just seen on A12 southbound at Martlesham. Looks like an old coach. Food great and good amount, cooked to order. Either a takeaway or sit in, If you are a regular how does this man remember what you normally order? I always go off menu and always enjoy the food and the banter with Steve the BOSS!

This place certainly doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside but it isn't set up for fine dining. It is a cafe, a greasy spoon but with great tasting food and an owner with the heart of gold. It is a unique cafe with the fact that it operates out of the carcass of an old bus, it adds character. A good cafe is hard to find I feel. I work in the construction industry and we thrive on the use of these little cafes and it is hard to find a decent one amongst a saturated market, but this one is decent. I come here when I have the time and driving past. The breakfast is great and the owner is great for a bit of chat and banter. He is a good chef in his field of expertise. I am honest in the fact that if you want to impress a client then maybe don't bring them here as the looks aren't spectacular but any other time, dive right in. You won't be disappointed with the culinary results.

We were camping in the area so arrived with healthy appetites and were certainly not disappointed. A really warm welcome from owner Steve who's first words were 'lets sort out a drink first'. Always a good start. Full English and half English ordered and were duly delivered piping hot and perfect for two hungry campers! Plenty of happy banter between Steve and his assistant (although I got the impression she was the 'real' boss!) and with the punters on board. The setting, in an old coach, just added to the whole experience. Another review mentioned how Steve chatted with a small child - we had exactly the same experience, really kind and attentive to a little girl and not your average truck-stop café owner!

Have used this facility a number of times over the years and never been disappointed yet. Went yesterday on my own for a bacon sandwich and a cuppa. Great. If you like people, friendly banter, old-fashioned environments and stationary buses this is for you. If you prefer or are used to the 'Ritz' and don't like people, stay away.

In the café this morning for the superb half English. A dad came in with his young daughter aged around 5 (I guess). During a conversation she had with Steve the café owner, he told her about Captain Beetroot, the pirate with two of everything (swords, pistols, eye patches(?), parrots and hats) and how due to his misdeeds he had been forced to inhabit the body of a dog. A picture of a Basset on the wall was described as Captain Beetroot. The chat continued with the stuffed hippo from the museum coming to life, drinking ketchup etc. A wonderful few minutes. The little girl was hanging on every word, as was I (58 years old). Not something you get with every breakfast elsewhere. Excellent Steve, most enjoyable. Kevin B

Was curious about this old disused coach which I had passed so many times, so took my three kids along one half term and we all loved it. Not only was the cafe cosy being converted from coach seating to tables but the couple who were running it were so friendly and hospitable and were great with the kids too. And the food was excellent. The cooked breakfasts were the best I had tasted in years and the sausages were high quality and everything was cooked perfectly. I know they do specials like chilli, homemade burgers etc which would be worth trying too.We all loved it and the kids made me promise to take them back which I'll do this half term as it's only open during certain times and days so school holidays are the best for us.For me it was an unexpected surprise and much better than I was expecting.

Went for breakfast and was disappointed. Wife enjoyed the chips on the half English but was expecting better. Mushrooms tasted a week old and tomato hard as a rock. Rude blokes blocking the entrance with their conversation and the whole rest if the bus empty. Not worth the detour.

Nice food, sociable staff that'll go that extra mile for you, and a clean, organised eating area. I particularly liked the breakfast 🍛 I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for a bottomless hot drink with it, but then I do drink like a fish 😆

The best toasty I have had in years. Cheese and ham good but the bread is homemade and crips up to take the toasty to another level. Thank you very much!
