Great place for Spuds, pasta and salads. Well priced and really good quality. Best lunch place in town.

Great spud, chicken, stuffing and gravy. Can't fault it.

Very good customer service. Place itself small, I got a feeling of canteen instead of coffee/brunch place. Not very private if you want to have a chat with someone. Food was good. Although I would try something else next time. Place lunch order with work and have enjoyed it. Only missed some kind of dressing for salads. It was fresh but plain.

Food amazing, such great value for money served quickly, hot and delicious, so much to choose from! The staff were equally as amazing, it seemed rather busy but staff dealt with it like clock work! Can't wait to visit again, was definitely worth the 35 mile trip from diss 😉

Can't fault this friendly little place. We ate in one day, and out the next. It's absolutely tiny - just three tables - but all food was freshly prepared... and where else would give you the option of a Yorkshire pudding with your jacket spud?!

Went here for the first time today. The customer service was brilliant and so was the food. Only criticism is that I wished they used paper packaging rather than polystyrene as it’s not good for the environment. However still recommend them.

Not greasy and seasoned to perfection. I've eaten a lot of sausage rolls and these are definitely the best.

Myself and friends decided to go for lunch here after hearing good things. We each had a jacket potato and what a lovely choice of fillings. I tried the Hunters Chicken and I never knew a Jacket Potato could taste this good. The staff were all lovely and friendly, making sure we had everything we wanted and checking we were happy with our lunches. Check out their baked goods too, my friends left with takeaway sausage rolls, cakes and cheesecake.

Ordered for the first time today and loved every bit of the meal. Saladwas all fresh and panini packed with filling! Delivered on time and was easy to order.

Got a salad box delivered for lunch. Excellent service and delicious salad. You are able to choose what goes in the box and add a dressing.

Always delicious, whether a potato or a salad and the very best sausage rolls in town.

Nice atmosphere, very clean, worth the money

I have to give this place a 5 star review, because although they were extremely busy this particular day (many orders and short of staff), they were very apologetic about the delay, and fell over themselves to serve myself and my friend once they had all their delivery orders completed. Quick, efficient and beautifully hot, tasty and filling food. Will return again and again, and I think everyone should visit this place. It's very small, but the food is worth it.

Highly recommend Spud Hut. I recently experienced a delivery of Jacket Potato’s at lunch time. Nice and hot and filling full to the brim in eco friendly paper boxes. The owner has a great homemade ethos. Cakes to die for and use of fresh local produce. Special thanks for the off menu request of a cream tea for 2. Amazing homemade macaroons Victoria sponge , scones clotted cream jam, sandwiches and sausage rolls. Thanks Karen.

I have had food from here multiple times and every time has been truly exemplary service. The food is delicious and the staff are incredibly nice and friendly. If you have any dietary requirements you can just ask them and they will be happy to help.

I am a very fussy eater and they have plenty of choice here and they honestly taste amazing! Cannot fault them at all. The staff are also so accommodating and very friendly.

A large variety of fillings for jacket potatoes with the option of having a half-portion for anyone with a smaller appetite. Excellent service and though potatoes may have been kept warm for a while the flavour is good. I enjoyed the potato with beef stew and dumplings and was impressed when I was also provided with a spoon as well as a knife and fork enabling me to clean my plate.

Very good baked spud shop with lots of vegan choices, as well as non vegan. Salads and other options available but I only go in for the spuds.

I called in for lunch on a Saturday with my gluten intolerant partner. There are so many fillings for him to choose from ( never the case anywhere else ) The place is spotless, the potatoes are huge, with lots of tasty filling. The coffee was very nice too. It makes a change to go to a cafe where the food and coffee is piping hot, as all too often we are served luke warm stuff. The lady and the young lad who served us were both friendly and helpful. Also fantastic value for money. Do NOT walk past if you are visiting Felixstowe or live here. I would highly recommend a visit to the spud hut. We will definitely be returning.

WHY THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD AND FANTASTIC VALUE. About once a week I treat myself to lunch out. Too often I go for safe favourites like Suffolk ham, free range eggs and chips. At home it's often two boiled eggs and toast. But as I get older I'm loving vegetables (imaginitve ones) more and more. Fancying something green and delicious today I tried this place (my wife has visited before and was extatic in her praise). I had a sald comprising Iceberg lettuce, sun-dried tomatoes, potato salad, olives, beetroot. and avocado with two rolls of ham on top. It tasted wonderful, I took my time eating it, enjoying all the different flavours. All this and a large mug of tea for about £6.50! It will now be my default go-to for lunch. Can't praise it enough.

I always love it here for lunch in Felixstowe, beautiful and tasty fresh food with so much different combinations of salads which is, to me, the biggest seller of this small business. I love it every time.

It's just a baked potato some will say BUT Spud Hut takes it to another level. Crispy skinned well cooked spuds with very generous fillings too numerous to mention but there is a large board on the wall to chose from including fresh and tasty salads. Seating is quite limited but they also have a pavement seating area to watch the shoppers as the wander past. Friendly folk, good food, good portions and good to revisit again and again.

New favourite lunchtime go to place! Had my lunch delivered twice now, brilliant service. Jackets are massive so good value for money. The homemade cakes are delicious also. Today I seen a salad on their Instagram called up and asked for that as wasn’t sure what it was. They checked and said no problem and I have to say it might of been the best salad I’ve ever eaten! So fresh and full of flavour!

How refreshing to be able to eat some delicious healthy food when out and about in felixstowe. Service was fantastic, one of the best potatoes ive ever had, topped with homemade chilli con carne that i know was loaded with hidden ingredients! Cant rate this place enough whether you want a hot potatoe on a cold day, or salad when the sun is shining!

Spud Hut is my go-to lunch, without a doubt. The menu is amazing, the staff are super friendly, and everything is homemade and healthy. My recommendation is ‘the Sweetest’ I’m addicted! Make sure you check them out, they have a loyalty card scheme too. Give them a follow on socials as they’re always running offers, promotions and random acts of kindness!

A friend and I called in by chance after having a walk along the prom. I had the salad and she had the Thai Curry on a jacket potato. Both were generous portions and really delicious. The 3 ladies behind the counter were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble. It is small but you can takeaway your lunch in a box with napkin and wooden cutlery. We intend to go back next week.

We just ordered a selection of spuds and salads for delivery to the office. Very pleasant on the phone, informative and knew their products. Food arrived bang on time, still hot (apart from the salad), all orders were correct, the vegan classic was exactly as wanted and the banger and fiesta spuds were particularly good.

Lovely little place on the high street right next to the bus stop. Service was warm and friendly from start to finish. Menu options were delicious and offered vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. They also had a selection of homemade cakes as well as cookies, popcorn, crisps and drinks. The wait was minimal for the food and having an open kitchen meant you could see everything being prepared and that gave you confidence that everything was fresh and prepared to a high standard. The spuds were HUGE and cooked beautifully with soft, fluffy potato. The fillings were plentiful and so they should be for a spud. Not to mention delicious and fresh. Care and attention meant a great visit and a definite return in the near future.

We’ve visited the Spud Hut weekly for a while now because we’re addicted to their delicious salads. They make their own unique coleslaw and couscous. Always friendly and welcoming service. Great value for money, healthy, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and absolutely yummy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Place looks very nice and welcoming to which creates a matching atmosphere to enjoy the fantastic food on offer. Had a classic potato with a yummy vegan hot chocolate and partner had a create your own salad which he said was the best salad he ever had. Both were delicious and good value. Can't fault anything and will for sure be back again.
